Taught to him by one intense in strength -
Issay poori taqat walay farishtey ney sikhaya hai.
उसे बड़ी शक्तियों वाले ने सिखाया,
One of soundness. And he rose to [his] true form
Jo zor -aawar hai phir woh seedha khara hogaya.
स्थिर रीति वाले ने।
While he was in the higher [part of the] horizon.
Aur woh buland aasmanon kay kinaron per tha.
अतः वह भरपूर हुआ, इस हाल में कि वह क्षितिज के उच्चतम छोर पर है
Then he approached and descended
Phir nazdeek hua aur utar aaya.
फिर वह निकट हुआ और उतर गया
And was at a distance of two bow lengths or nearer.
Pus woh do kamanon kay ba-qadar fasla reh gaya bulkay iss say bhi kum.
अब दो कमानों के बराबर या उस से भी अधिक निकट हो गया
And he revealed to His Servant what he revealed.
Pus uss ney ALLAH kay bandaey ko wahi phonchaee jo bhi phonchaee.
तब उस ने अपने बन्दे की ओर प्रकाशना की, जो कुछ प्रकाशना की।
The heart did not lie [about] what it saw.
Dil ney jhoot nahi kaha jissay ( payghumber ney ) dekha.
दिल ने कोई धोखा नहीं दिया, जो कुछ उस ने देखा;
So will you dispute with him over what he saw?
Kiya tum jhagra kertay ho iss per jo ( payghumber ) dekhtey hain.
अब क्या तुम उस चीज़ पर झगड़ते हो, जिसे वह देख रहा है? -
And he certainly saw him in another descent
Issay to aik martaba aur bhi dekha tha.
और निश्चय ही वह उसे एक बार और
At the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary -
Sidrat-ul-muntaha kay pass
सिदरतुल मुन्तहा' (परली सीमा के बेर) के पास उतरते देख चुका है
Near it is the Garden of Refuge -
Issi kay pass jannat-ul-maawa hai.
उसी के निकट 'जन्नतुल मावा' (ठिकाने वाली जन्नत) है। -
When there covered the Lote Tree that which covered [it].
Jabkay sidrah ko chupaye leti thi woh cheez jo uss per cha rahi thi.
जबकि छा रहा था उस बेर पर, जो कुछ छा रहा था
The sight [of the Prophet] did not swerve, nor did it transgress [its limit].
Na to nigah behki na had say barhi.
निगाह न तो टेढ़ी हुइ और न हद से आगे बढ़ी
He certainly saw of the greatest signs of his Lord.
Yaqeenan uss ney apney rab ki bari bari nishaniyon mein say baaz nishaniyan dekha len.
निश्चय ही उस ने अपने रब की बड़ी-बड़ी निशानियाँ देखीं
