Do you covet [the hope, O believers], that they would believe for you while a party of them used to hear the words of Allah and then distort the Torah after they had understood it while they were knowing?
( musalmano! ) kiya tumhari khuwaish hai kay yeh log eman daar bann jayen halankay inn mein aisay log bhi hain jo kalam ullah ko sunn ker aqal-o-ilm walay hotay huye phir bhi badal dala kertay hain.
क्या तुम यह उम्मीद रखते हो कि ये (यहूद) तुम्हारे कहने से ईमान ले आएंगे; हालाँकि उनमें से कुछ लोग ऐसे हैं कि वे अल्लाह का कलाम सुनते थे और फिर उसको समझने के बाद बदल डालते थे, हालाँकि वे जानते हैं।
Only those who hear will respond. But the dead - Allah will resurrect them; then to Him they will be returned.
Wohi log qabool kertay hain jo suntay hain. Murdon ko Allah zinda ker kay uthaye ga phir sab Allah hi ki taraf laye jayen gay.
क़बूल तो वही लोग करते हैं जो सुनते हैं, और मुर्दों को अल्लाह उठाएगा फिर वे उसी की तरफ़ लौटाए जाएंगे।
Has it not become clear to those who inherited the earth after its [previous] people that if We willed, We could afflict them for their sins? But We seal over their hearts so they do not hear.
Aur kiya unn logon ko jo zamin kay waris huye wahan kay logon ki halakat kay baad ( inn waqiyaat-e-mazkoor ney ) yeh baat nahi batlaee kay agar hum chahayen to inn kay jurm kay sabab inn ko halak ker dalen aur hum inn kay dilon per band laga denpus woh na sunn saken.
क्या सबक़ नहीं मिला उनको जो ज़मीन के वारिस हुए हैं उसके अगले रहने वालों के बाद कि अगर हम चाहें तो उनको पकड़ लें उनके गुनाहों पर, और हमने उनके दिलों पर मुहर लगा दी है पस वे नहीं सुनते।
And We have certainly created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind. They have hearts with which they do not understand, they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear. Those are like livestock; rather, they are more astray. It is they who are the heedless.
Aur hum ney aisay boht say jinn aur insan dozakh kay liye peda kiye hain jin kay dil aisay hain jin say nahi samajhtay aur jin ki aankhen aisi hain jin say nahi dekhtay aur jin kay kaam aisay hain jin say nahi suntay. Yeh log chopayon ki tarah hain bulkay yeh unn say bhi ziyada gumrah hain. Yeho log ghafil hain.
और हमने जिन्नात और इंसान में से बहुतों को जहन्नम के लिए पैदा किया है, उनके दिल हैं जिनसे वे समझते नहीं, उनकी आँखें हैं जिनसे वे देखते नहीं और उनके कान हैं जिनसे वे सुनते नहीं, वे ऐसे हैं जैसे चौपाये बल्कि उनसे भी ज़्यादा बे-राह, यही लोग ग़ाफ़िल हैं।
And do not be like those who say, "We have heard," while they do not hear.
Aur tum unn logon ki tarah mat hona jo dawa to kertay hain kay hum ney sunn liya halankay woh suntay ( sunatay kuch ) nahi.
और उन लोगों की तरह न हो जाओ जिन्होंने कहा कि हमने सुना हालाँकि वे नहीं सुनते।
They will not hear therein any ill speech - only [greetings of] peace - and they will have their provision therein, morning and afternoon.
Woh log wahan koi laghaw baat na sunen gay sirf salam hi salam sunen gay unn kay liye wahan subha shaam unn ka rizq hoga.
वहाँ वे 'सलाम' के सिवा कोई व्यर्थ बात नहीं सुनेंगे। उन की रोज़ी उन्हें वहाँ प्रातः और सन्ध्या समय प्राप्त होती रहेगी
For them therein is heavy sighing, and they therein will not hear.
Aur woh wahan chilla reahey hongay aur wahan kuch bhi na sunn saken gay.
उन के लिए वहाँ शोर गुल होगा और वे वहाँ कुछ भी नहीं सुन सकेंगे
They will not hear its sound, while they are, in that which their souls desire, abiding eternally.
Woh to dozakh ki aahat tak na sunen gay aur pani mann bhati cheezon mein hamesha rehney walay hongay.
वे उस की आहट भी नहीं सुनेंगे और अपनी मनचाही चीज़ों के मध्य सदैव रहेंगे
Or do you think that most of them hear or reason? They are not except like livestock. Rather, they are [even] more astray in [their] way.
Kiya aap issi khayal mein hain kay inn mein say aksar suntay ya samajhtay hain. Woh to niray chopayon jaisay hain bulkay inn say bhi ziyada bhatkay huye.
या तुम समझते हो कि उन में अधिकतर सुनते और समझते हैं? वे तो बस चौपायों की तरह हैं, बल्कि उन से भी अधिक पथभ्रष्ट!
Has it not become clear to them how many generations We destroyed before them, [as] they walk among their dwellings? Indeed in that are signs; then do they not hear?
Kiya iss baat ney bhi enhen hidayat nahi di kay hum ney inn say pehlay boht si ummaton ko halak ker diya jin kay makano mein yeh chal phir rahey hain. Iss mein to ( bari ) bari nishaniyan hain. Kiya phir bhi yeh nahi sunntay?
क्या उन के लिए यह चीज़ भी मार्गदर्शक सिद्ध नहीं हुई कि उन से पहले कितनी ही नस्लों को हम विनष्ट कर चुके हैं, जिन के रहने-बसने की जगहों में वे चलते-फिरते हैं? निस्संदेह इसमें बहुत-सी निशानियाँ हैं। फिर क्या वे सुनते नहीं?
As a giver of good tidings and a warner; but most of them turn away, so they do not hear.
Khuskhabri sunanay wala aur daraney wala hai phir bhi inn ki aksariyat ney mun pher liya aur woh suntay hi nahi.
शुभ सूचक एवं सचेतकर्त्ता किन्तु उन में से अधिकतर कतरा गए तो वे सुनते ही नहीं
The Day they will hear the blast [of the Horn] in truth. That is the Day of Emergence [from the graves].
Jiss roz uss tund-o-tez cheekh ko yaqeen kay sath sunn len gay, yeh din hoga nikalney ka.
जिस दिन लोग भयंकर चीख़ को सत्यतः सुन रहे होंगे। वही दिन होगा निकलने का।-
They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin -
Na wahan bakwas sunein gey aur na gunnah ki baat.
उस में वे न कोई व्यर्थ बात सुनेंगे और न गुनाह की बात;
No ill speech will they hear therein or any falsehood -
Wahan na to who byhoda batein sunein gay aur na jhoti batein sunein gay
वे उस में न तो कोई व्यर्थ बात सुनेंगे और न कोई झुठलाने की बात
