اور ان میں سے اکثر لوگ صرف گمان پر چل رہے ہیں یقیناً گمان ، حق ( کی معرفت ) میں کچھ بھی کام نہیں دے سکتا یہ جو کچھ کر رہے ہیں یقیناً اللہ کو سب خبر ہے ۔

And most of them follow not except assumption. Indeed, assumption avails not against the truth at all. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what they do.

ان کے بیان میں عقل والوں کے لئے یقیناً نصیحت اور عبرت ہے یہ قرآن جھوٹ بنائی ہوئی بات نہیں بلکہ یہ تصدیق ہےان کتابوں کی جو اس سے پہلے کی ہیں کھول کھول کر بیان کرنے والا ہے ہرچیز کو اور ہدایت اور رحمت ہے ایمان دار لوگوں کے لئے

There was certainly in their stories a lesson for those of understanding. Never was the Qur'an a narration invented, but a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of all things and guidance and mercy for a people who believe.

جو لوگ اللہ تعالٰی کی آیتوں پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے انہیں اللہ کی طرف سے بھی رہنمائی نہیں ہوتی اور ان کے لئے المناک عذاب ہیں ۔

Indeed, those who do not believe in the verses of Allah - Allah will not guide them, and for them is a painful punishment.

پس اگر یہ لوگ اس بات پر ایمان نہ لائیں تو کیا آپ ان کے پیچھے اسی رنج میں اپنی جان ہلاک کر ڈالیں گے؟

Then perhaps you would kill yourself through grief over them, [O Muhammad], if they do not believe in this message, [and] out of sorrow.

اور بعض لوگ ایسے بھی ہیں جو لغو باتوں کو مول لیتے ہیں کہ بے علمی کے ساتھ لوگوں کو اللہ کی راہ سے بہکائیں اور اسے ہنسی بنائیں یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جن کے لئے رسوا کرنے والا عذاب ہے ۔

And of the people is he who buys the amusement of speech to mislead [others] from the way of Allah without knowledge and who takes it in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment.

اللہ تعالٰی نے بہترین کلام نازل فرمایا ہے جو ایسی کتاب ہے کہ آپس میں ملتی جلتی اور بار بار دہرائی ہوئی آیتوں کی ہے جس سے ان لوگوں کے رونگٹے کھڑے ہو جاتے ہیں جو اپنے رب کا خوف رکھتے ہیں آخر میں ان کے جسم اور دل اللہ تعالٰی کے ذکر کی طرف نرم ہو جاتے ہیں یہ ہے اللہ تعالٰی کہ ہدایت جس کے ذریعہ جسے چاہے راہ راست پر لگا دیتا ہے اور جسے اللہ تعالٰی ہی راہ بھلا دے اس کا ہادی کوئی نہیں ۔

Allah has sent down the best statement: a consistent Book wherein is reiteration. The skins shiver therefrom of those who fear their Lord; then their skins and their hearts relax at the remembrance of Allah . That is the guidance of Allah by which He guides whom He wills. And one whom Allah leaves astray - for him there is no guide.

یہ ہیں اللہ کی آیتیں جنہیں ہم آپ کو راستی سے سنا رہے ہیں پس اللہ تعالٰی اور اس کی آیتوں کے بعد یہ کس بات پر ایمان لائیں گے ۔

These are the verses of Allah which We recite to you in truth. Then in what statement after Allah and His verses will they believe?

اچھا اگر یہ سچے ہیں تو بھلا اس جیسی ایک ( ہی ) بات یہ ( بھی ) تو لے آئیں ۔

Then let them produce a statement like it, if they should be truthful.

اور اس سے زیادہ بے انصاف کون ہوگا جو اللہ تعالٰی پر جھوٹ بہتان باندھے یا اللہ کی آیات کو جھوٹا بتلائے ایسے بے انصافوں کو کامیابی نہ ہوگی ۔

And who is more unjust than one who invents about Allah a lie or denies His verses? Indeed, the wrongdoers will not succeed.

پس مجھے اور اس کلام کو جھٹلانے والے کو چھوڑ دے ہم انہیں اس طرح آہستہ آہستہ کھینچیں گے کہ انہیں معلوم بھی نہ ہوگا ۔

So leave Me, [O Muhammad], with [the matter of] whoever denies the Qur'an. We will progressively lead them [to punishment] from where they do not know.

اور کیا ان لوگوں نے غور نہیں کیا آسمانوں اور زمین کے عالم میں اور دوسری چیزوں میں جو اللہ نے پیدا کیں ہیں اور اس بات میں کہ ممکن ہے کہ ان کی اجل قریب ہی آپہنچی ہو پھر قرآن کے بعد کون سی بات پر یہ لوگ ایمان لائیں گے؟

Do they not look into the realm of the heavens and the earth and everything that Allah has created and [think] that perhaps their appointed time has come near? So in what statement hereafter will they believe?

اور وحی لانے والے فرشتوں کی قسم ۔

And those [angels] who deliver a message
