اور رشتے داروں کا اور مسکینوں اور مسافروں کا حق ادا کرتے رہو اور اسراف اور بے جا خرچ سے بچو ۔

And give the relative his right, and [also] the poor and the traveler, and do not spend wastefully.

ساری اچھائی مشرق اور مغرب کی طرف منہ کرنے میں ہی نہیں بلکہ حقیقتًا اچھا وہ شخص ہے جو اللہ تعالٰی پر قیامت کے دن پر فرشتوں پر کتاب اللہ اور نبیوں پر ایمان رکھنے والا ہو جو مال سے محبت کرنے کے باوجود قرابت داروں یتیموں مسکینوں مسافروں اور سوال کرنے والوں کو دے غلاموں کو آزاد کرے نماز کی پابندی اور زکٰوۃ کی ادائیگی کرے جب وعدہ کرے تب اسے پورا کرے تنگدستی دکھ درد اور لڑائی کے وقت صبر کرے یہی سچّے لوگ ہیں اور یہی پرہیزگار ہیں ۔

Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah , the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and gives zakah; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who] are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle. Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous.

اپنے فائدے حاصل کرنے کو آجائیں اور ان مقررہ دنوں میں اللہ کا نام یاد کریں ان چوپایوں پر جو پالتو ہیں پس تم آپ بھی کھاؤ اور بھوکے فقیروں کو بھی کھلاؤ ۔

That they may witness benefits for themselves and mention the name of Allah on known days over what He has provided for them of [sacrificial] animals. So eat of them and feed the miserable and poor.

تم میں سے جو مرد عورت بے نکاح کےہوں ان کا نکاح کر دو اور اپنے نیک بخت غلام اورلونڈیوں کا بھی اگر وہ مفلس بھی ہوں گےتو اللہ تعالٰی انہیں اپنے فضل سے غنی بنا دے گا اللہ تعالٰی کشادگی والا اورعلم والا ہے ۔

And marry the unmarried among you and the righteous among your male slaves and female slaves. If they should be poor, Allah will enrich them from His bounty, and Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.

پس قرابت دار کو مسکین کو مسافر کو ہر ایک کو اس کا حق دیجئے یہ ان کے لئے بہتر ہے جو اللہ تعالٰی کا منہ دیکھنا چاہتے ہوں ایسے ہی لوگ نجات پانے والے ہیں ۔

So give the relative his right, as well as the needy and the traveler. That is best for those who desire the countenance of Allah , and it is they who will be the successful.

اور ان کے مال میں مانگنے والوں کااور سوال سے بچنے والوں کا حق تھا ۔

And from their properties was [given] the right of the [needy] petitioner and the deprived.

بستیوں والوں کا جو ( مال ) اللہ تعالٰی تمہارے لڑے بھڑے بغیر اپنے رسول کے ہاتھ لگائے وہ اللہ کا ہے اور رسول کا اور قرابت والوں کا اور یتیموں مسکینوں کا اور مسافروں کا ہے تاکہ تمہارے دولت مندوں کے ہاتھ میں ہی یہ مال گردش کرتا نہ رہ جائے اور تمہیں جو کچھ رسول دے لے لو ، اور جس سے روکے رک جاؤ اللہ تعالٰی سے ڈرتے رہا کرو ، یقیناً اللہ تعالٰی سخت عذاب والا ہے ۔

And what Allah restored to His Messenger from the people of the towns - it is for Allah and for the Messenger and for [his] near relatives and orphans and the [stranded] traveler - so that it will not be a perpetual distribution among the rich from among you. And whatever the Messenger has given you - take; and what he has forbidden you - refrain from. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.

مانگنے والوں کا بھی اور سوال سے بچنے والوں کا بھی ۔

For the petitioner and the deprived -

اور اللہ تعالٰی کی محبت میں کھانا کھلاتے ہیں مسکین یتیم اور قیدیوں کو ۔

And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive,

جان لو کہ تم جس قسم کی جو کچھ غنیمت حاصل کرو اس میں سے پانچواں حصہ تو اللہ کا ہے اور رسول کا اور قرابت داروں کا اور یتیموں کا اور مسکینوں کا اور مسافروں کا ، اگر تم اللہ پر ایمان لائے ہو اور اس چیز پر جو ہم نے اپنے بندے پر اس دن اتارا ہے جو دن حق و باطل کی جدائی کا تھا جس دن دو فوجیں بھڑ گئی تھیں ۔ اللہ ہرچیز پر قادر ہے ۔

And know that anything you obtain of war booty - then indeed, for Allah is one fifth of it and for the Messenger and for [his] near relatives and the orphans, the needy, and the [stranded] traveler, if you have believed in Allah and in that which We sent down to Our Servant on the day of criterion - the day when the two armies met. And Allah , over all things, is competent.

اگر مشرکوں میں سے کوئی تجھ سے پناہ طلب کرے تو تو اسے پناہ دے دے یہاں تک کہ وہ کلام اللہ سن لے پھر اسے اپنی جائے امن تک پہنچا دے یہ اس لئے کہ یہ لوگ بے علم ہیں ۔

And if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him protection so that he may hear the words of Allah . Then deliver him to his place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know.
