جو میرا بھی وارث ہو اور یعقوب ( علیہ السلام ) کے خاندان کا بھی جانشین اور میرے رب! تو اسے مقبول بندہ بنالے ۔

Who will inherit me and inherit from the family of Jacob. And make him, my Lord, pleasing [to You]."

کیا تم یہ گمان کئے بیٹھے ہو کہ جنت میں چلے جاؤ گے حالانکہ اب تک تم پر وہ حالات نہیں آئے جو تم سے اگلے لوگوں پر آئے تھے انہیں بیماریاں اور مصیبتیں پہنچیں اور وہ یہاں تک جھنجھوڑے گئے کہ رسول اور اس کے ساتھ کے ایمان والے کہنے لگے کہ اللہ کی مدد کب آئے گی؟ سُن رکھو کہ اللہ کی مدد قریب ہی ہے ۔

Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said,"When is the help of Allah ?" Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near.

یقیناً ایمان والوں نے فلاح حاصل کر لی ۔

Certainly will the believers have succeeded:

اور اپنے رب کی بخشش کی طرف اور اُس جنّت کی طرف دوڑو جس کا عرض آسمانوں اور زمین کے برابر ہے ، جو پرہیزگاروں کے لئے تیار کی گئی ہے ۔

And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous

جو ایمان والا ہو مرد ہو یا عورت اور وہ نیک اعمال کرے ، یقیناً ایسے لوگ جنت میں جائیں گے اور کھجور کی گٹھلی کے شگاف کے برابر بھی ان کا حق نہ مارا جائے گا ۔

And whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, while being a believer - those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged, [even as much as] the speck on a date seed.

اور ہم نے انسان کو اپنے ماں باپ کے ساتھ حسن سلوک کرنے کا حکم دیا ہے اس کی ماں نے اسے تکلیف جھیل کر پیٹ میں رکھا اور تکلیف برداشت کرکے اسے جنا ۔ اس کے حمل کا اور اس کے دودھ چھڑانے کا زمانہ تیس مہینے کا ہے یہاں تک کہ جب وہ اپنی پختگی اور چالیس سال کی عمر کو پہنچا تو کہنے لگا اے میرے پروردگار مجھے توفیق دے کہ میں تیری اس نعمت کا شکر بجا لاؤ ں جو تو نے مجھ پر اور میرے ماں باپ پر انعام کی ہے اور یہ کہ میں ایسے نیک عمل کروں جن سے تو خوش ہو جائے اور تو میری اولاد کو بھی صالح بنا ۔ میں تیری طرف رجوع کرتا ہوں اور میں مسلمانوں میں سے ہوں ۔

And We have enjoined upon man, to his parents, good treatment. His mother carried him with hardship and gave birth to him with hardship, and his gestation and weaning [period] is thirty months. [He grows] until, when he reaches maturity and reaches [the age of] forty years, he says, "My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to work righteousness of which You will approve and make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims."

جو رحمٰن کا غائبانہ خوف رکھتا ہو اور توجہ والا دل لایا ہو ۔

Who feared the Most Merciful unseen and came with a heart returning [in repentance].

۔ ( آؤ ) دوڑو اپنے رب کی مغفرت کی طرف اور اس جنت کی طرف جس کی وسعت آسماں و زمین کی وسعت کے برابر ہے یہ ان کے لئے بنائی گئی ہے جو اللہ پر اور اس کے رسولوں ایمان رکھتے ہیں ۔ یہ اللہ کا فضل ہے جسے چاہے دے اور اللہ بڑے فضل والا ہے ۔

Race toward forgiveness from your Lord and a Garden whose width is like the width of the heavens and earth, prepared for those who believed in Allah and His messengers. That is the bounty of Allah which He gives to whom He wills, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty.

اور اللہ تعالٰی نے ایمان والوں کے لئے فرعون کی بیوی کی مثال بیان فرمائی جبکہ اس نے دعا کی اے میرے رب! میرے لئے اپنے پاس جنت میں مکان بنا اور مجھے فرعون سے اور اس کے عمل سے بچا اور مجھے ظالم لوگوں سے خلاصی دے ۔

And Allah presents an example of those who believed: the wife of Pharaoh, when she said, "My Lord, build for me near You a house in Paradise and save me from Pharaoh and his deeds and save me from the wrongdoing people."

مگر وہ نمازی ۔

Except the observers of prayer -

جو نذر پوری کرتے ہیں اور اس دن سے ڈرتے ہیں جس کی برائی چاروں طرف پھیل جانے والی ہے ۔

They [are those who] fulfill [their] vows and fear a Day whose evil will be widespread.

بلا شبہ اللہ تعالٰی نے مسلمانوں سے ان کی جانوں کو اور ان کے مالوں کو اس بات کے عوض خرید لیا ہے کہ ان کو جنت ملے گی وہ لوگ اللہ کی راہ میں لڑتے ہیں جس میں قتل کرتے ہیں اور قتل کئے جاتے ہیں اس پر سچا وعدہ کیا گیا ہے تورات میں اور انجیل میں اور قرآن میں اور اللہ سے زیادہ اپنے عہد کو کون پورا کرنے والا ہے تو تم لوگ اس بیع پر جس کا تم نے معاملہ ٹھہرایا ہے خوشی مناؤ اور یہ بڑی کامیابی ہے ۔

Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah , so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah ? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment.
