They said, "Call upon your Lord to make clear to us what it is." [Moses] said, "[ Allah ] says, 'It is a cow which is neither old nor virgin, but median between that,' so do what you are commanded."
Unhon ney kaha aey musa! dua kijiye kay Allah Taalaa humaray liye iss ki maahiyat biyan ker dey aap ney farmaya suno! woh gaaye na to bilkul burhiya ho na bacha bulkay darmiyani umar ki no jawan ho abb jo tumhen hukum diya gaya hai baja lao.
उन्होंने कहाः अपने रब से दरख़्वास्त करो कि वह हमसे बयान करे कि वह गाय कैसी हो, मूसा ने कहाः अल्लाह फ़रमाता है कि वह गाय न बूढ़ी हो न बच्ची, इनके बीच की हो, अब कर डालो जो हुक्म तुमको मिला है।
They said, "Call upon your Lord to show us what is her color." He said, "He says, 'It is a yellow cow, bright in color - pleasing to the observers.' "
Woh phir kehnay lagay kay dua kijiye kay Allah Taalaa biyan keray uss ka rang kiya hai? Farmaya woh kehta hai kay woh gaaye zard rang ki hai chamkeela aur dekhney walon ko bhala lagney wala uss ka rang hai.
उन्होंने कहाः अपने रब से दरख़्वास्त करो वह बयान करे कि उसका रंग क्या हो, मूसा ने कहाः अल्लाह फ़रमाता है कि वह गहरे ज़र्द रंग की हो, देखने वालों को अच्छी मालूम होती हो।
He said, "He says, 'It is a cow neither trained to plow the earth nor to irrigate the field, one free from fault with no spot upon her.' " They said, "Now you have come with the truth." So they slaughtered her, but they could hardly do it.
Aap ney farmaya kay Allah ka farman hai kay woh gaaye kaam kerney wali zamin mein hal jootney wali aur kheton ko pani pilaney wali nahi woh tandrust aur bey daagh hai unhon ney kaha abb aap ney haq wazeh ker diya go woh hukum bardari kay qarib na thay lekin ussay mana aur gaaye zibah ker di.
मूसा ने कहाः अल्लाह फ़रमाता है कि वह ऐसी गाय हो कि मेहनत करने वाली न हो, ज़मीन को जोतने वाली और खेतों को पानी देने वाली न हो, वह सालिम हो उसमें कोई दाग़ न हो, उन्होंने कहाः अब तुम वाज़ेह बात लाए, फिर उन्होंने उसको ज़बह किया और वे ज़बह करते नज़र न आते थे।
But among the bedouins are some who believe in Allah and the Last Day and consider what they spend as means of nearness to Allah and of [obtaining] invocations of the Messenger. Unquestionably, it is a means of nearness for them. Allah will admit them to His mercy. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
Aur baaz ehal-e-dehaat mein aisay bhi hain jo Allah Taalaa per aur qayamat kay din per eman rakhtay hain aur jo kuch kharach kertay hain inn ko indallah qurb hasil honey ka zariya aur rasool ki dua ka zariya banatay hain yaad rakho kay inn kay yeh kharach kerna be-shak inn kay liye mojib-e-qurbat hai inn ko Allah Taalaa zaroor apni remat mein dakhil keray ga Allah Taalaa bari maghfirat wala bari rehmat wala hai.
और देहातियों में से कुछ वे भी हैं जो अल्लाह पर और आख़िरत के दिन पर ईमान रखते हैं और जो कुछ ख़र्च करते हैं उसको अल्लाह के यहाँ क़ुर्ब का और रसूल की दुआएं लेने का ज़रिया बनाते हैं, हाँ बेशक वह उनके लिए क़ुर्ब का ज़रिया है। अल्लाह उनको अपनी रहमत में दाख़िल करेगा, यक़ीनन अल्लाह बख़्शने वाला, मेहरबान है।
Except his wife." Allah decreed that she is of those who remain behind.
Siwaye uss ( loot ) ki biwi kay kay hum ney ussay rukney aur baqi reh janey walon mein muqarrar ker diya hai.
सिवाए उनकी बीवी के कि हमने अंदाज़ा कर लिया है कि वह ज़रूर मुजरिम लोगों में रह जाएगी।
That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected.
Kay apni chori hui duniya mein jaa ker nek aemaal ker loon hergiz aisa nahi hoga yeh to sirf aik qol hai jiss ka yeh qaeel hai inn kay pas-e-pusht to aik hijab hai inn kay doobara ji uthney kay din tak.
उस में अच्छा कर्म करूँ।" कुछ नहीं, यह तो बस एक (व्यर्थ) बात है जो वह कहेगा और उन के पीछे से लेकर उस दिन तक एक रोक लगी हुई है, जब वे दोबारा उठाए जाएँगे
Indeed, it is evil as a settlement and residence."
Be-shak woh therney aur rehney kay lehaz say bad-tareen jagah hai.
निश्चय ही वह जगह ठहरने की दृष्टि से भी बुरी है और स्थान की दृष्टि से भी
And that which she was worshipping other than Allah had averted her [from submission to Him]. Indeed, she was from a disbelieving people."
Ussay unhon ney rok rakha tha jin ki woh Allah kay siwa perastish kerti rahi thi yaqeenan woh kafir logon mein say thi.
अल्लाह से हटकर वह दूसरे को पूजती थी। इसी चीज़ ने उसे रोक रखा था। निस्संदेह वह एक इनकार करने वाली क़ौम में से थी
Indeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire,
Be-shak woh darakht jahannum ki jarr mein say nikalta hai.
वह एक वृक्ष है जो भड़कती हुई आग की तह से निकलता है
No! Indeed, it is the Flame [of Hell],
Mager hergiz yeh na hoga yaqeenan wo shoal wali ( aag ) hai
कदापि नहीं! वह लपट मारती हुई आग है,
Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions]
Kay ( yaqeenan wo jahanum ) bari chezon mein say ik hay
निश्चय ही वह भारी (भयंकर) चीज़ों में से एक है,
Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress,
yaqeenan dozakh chingariyan phenkti hai jo misil mehal kay hein
निस्संदेह वे (ज्वालाएँ) महल जैसी (ऊँची) चिंगारियाँ फेंकती हैं
No! Indeed, these verses are a reminder;
Yeh thek nahi quran is nasehat ( ki chez ) hay
कदापि नहीं, वे (आयतें) तो महत्वपूर्ण नसीहत हैं -
Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them
Who unn per her taraf say band ki hui hogi.
वह उन पर ढाँककर बन्द कर दी गई होगी,
