الفاظ ( وَلَدًا )

یہ کہتے ہیں کہ اللہ تعالٰی کی اولاد ہے ، ( نہیں بلکہ ) وہ پاک ہے زمین اور آسمان کی تمام مخلوق اس کی ملکیت میں ہے اور ہر ایک اس کا فرما نبردار ہے ۔

They say, " Allah has taken a son." Exalted is He! Rather, to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. All are devoutly obedient to Him,

وہ کہتے ہیں کہ اللہ اولاد رکھتا ہے ۔ سبحان اللہ! وہ تو کسی کا محتاج نہیں اس کی ملکیت ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے ۔ تمہارے پاس اس پر کوئی دلیل نہیں ۔ کیا اللہ کے ذمہ ایسی بات لگاتے ہو جس کا تم علم نہیں رکھتے ۔

They have said, " Allah has taken a son." Exalted is He; He is the [one] Free of need. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. You have no authority for this [claim]. Do you say about Allah that which you do not know?

مصر والوں میں سے جس نے اسے خریدا تھا اس نے اپنی بیوی سے کہا کہ اسے بہت عزت و احترام کے ساتھ رکھو ، بہت ممکن ہے کہ یہ ہمیں فائدہ پہنچائے یا اسے ہم اپنا بیٹا ہی بنا لیں ، یوں ہم نے مصر کی سرزمین پر یوسف کا قدم جما دیا ، کہ ہم اسے خواب کی تعبیر کا کچھ علم سکھا دیں ۔ اللہ اپنے ارادے پر غالب ہے لیکن اکثر لوگ بے علم ہوتے ہیں ۔

And the one from Egypt who bought him said to his wife, "Make his residence comfortable. Perhaps he will benefit us, or we will adopt him as a son." And thus, We established Joseph in the land that We might teach him the interpretation of events. And Allah is predominant over His affair, but most of the people do not know.

اور یہ کہہ دیجئے کہ تمام تعریفیں اللہ ہی کے لئے ہیں جو نہ اولاد رکھتا ہے نہ اپنی بادشاہت میں کسی کو شریک ساجھی رکھتا ہے اور نہ وہ کمزور ہے کہ اسے کسی حمایتی کی ضرورت ہو اور تو اس کی پوری پوری بڑائی بیان کرتا رہ ۔

And say, "Praise to Allah , who has not taken a son and has had no partner in [His] dominion and has no [need of a] protector out of weakness; and glorify Him with [great] glorification."

اور ان لوگوں کو بھی ڈرا دے جو کہتے ہیں کہ اللہ تعالٰی اولاد رکھتا ہے ۔

And to warn those who say, " Allah has taken a son."

ان کا قول تو یہ ہے کہ اللہ رحمٰن نے بھی اولاد اختیار کی ہے ۔

And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son."

کہ وہ رحمٰن کی اولاد ثابت کرنے بیٹھے ۔

That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son.

شان رحمٰن کے لائق نہیں کہ وہ اولاد رکھے ۔

And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son.

اسی اللہ کی سلطنت ہے آسمانوں اور زمین کی اور وہ کوئی اولاد نہیں رکھتا نہ اس کی سلطنت میں کوئی اس کا ساجھی ہے اور ہرچیز کو اس نے پیدا کرکے ایک مناسب اندازہ ٹھہرادیا ہے ۔

He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and who has not taken a son and has not had a partner in dominion and has created each thing and determined it with [precise] determination.

اور فرعون کی بیوی نے کہا یہ تو میری اور تیری آنکھوں کی ٹھنڈک ہے ، اسے قتل نہ کرو بہت ممکن ہے کہ یہ ہمیں کوئی فائدہ پہنچائے یا ہم اسے اپنا ہی بیٹا بنالیں اور یہ لوگ شعور ہی نہیں رکھتے تھے ۔

And the wife of Pharaoh said, "[He will be] a comfort of the eye for me and for you. Do not kill him; perhaps he may benefit us, or we may adopt him as a son." And they perceived not.

اگر اللہ تعالٰی کا ارادہ اولاد ہی کا ہوتا تو اپنی مخلوق میں سے جسے چاہتا چن لیتا ۔ ( لیکن ) وہ تو پاک ہے ، وہ وہی اللہ تعالٰی ہے یگانہ اور قوت والا ۔

If Allah had intended to take a son, He could have chosen from what He creates whatever He willed. Exalted is He; He is Allah , the One, the Prevailing.

اور بیشک ہمارے رب کی شان بڑی بلند ہے نہ اس نے کسی کو ( اپنی ) بیوی بنایا ہے نہ بیٹا ۔

And [it teaches] that exalted is the nobleness of our Lord; He has not taken a wife or a son
