الفاظ ( وَفِي )

ساری اچھائی مشرق اور مغرب کی طرف منہ کرنے میں ہی نہیں بلکہ حقیقتًا اچھا وہ شخص ہے جو اللہ تعالٰی پر قیامت کے دن پر فرشتوں پر کتاب اللہ اور نبیوں پر ایمان رکھنے والا ہو جو مال سے محبت کرنے کے باوجود قرابت داروں یتیموں مسکینوں مسافروں اور سوال کرنے والوں کو دے غلاموں کو آزاد کرے نماز کی پابندی اور زکٰوۃ کی ادائیگی کرے جب وعدہ کرے تب اسے پورا کرے تنگدستی دکھ درد اور لڑائی کے وقت صبر کرے یہی سچّے لوگ ہیں اور یہی پرہیزگار ہیں ۔

Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah , the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and gives zakah; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who] are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle. Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous.

ان میں سے بہت سے لوگوں کو آپ دیکھیں گے کہ وہ کافروں سے دوستیاں کرتے ہیں ، جو کچھ انہوں نے اپنے لئے آگے بھیج رکھا ہے وہ بہت برا ہے کہ اللہ تعالٰی ان سے ناراض ہوا اور وہ ہمیشہ عذاب میں رہیں گے

You see many of them becoming allies of those who disbelieved. How wretched is that which they have put forth for themselves in that Allah has become angry with them, and in the punishment they will abide eternally.

اور وہی ہے معبود برحق آسمانوں میں بھی اور زمین میں بھی وہ تمہارے پوشیدہ احوال کو بھی اور تمہارے ظاہر احوال کو بھی جانتا ہے اور تم جو کچھ عمل کرتے ہو اس کو بھی جانتا ہے ۔

And He is Allah , [the only deity] in the heavens and the earth. He knows your secret and what you make public, and He knows that which you earn.

لائق نہیں کہ مشرک اللہ تعالٰی کی مسجدوں کو آباد کریں ۔ درآں حالیکہ وہ خود اپنے کفر کے آپ ہی گواہ ہیں ان کے اعمال غارت و اکارت ہیں اور وہ دائمی طور پر جہنمی ہیں ۔

It is not for the polytheists to maintain the mosques of Allah [while] witnessing against themselves with disbelief. [For] those, their deeds have become worthless, and in the Fire they will abide eternally.

صدقے صرف فقیروں کے لئے ہیں اور مسکینوں کے لئے اور ان کے وصول کرنے والوں کے لئے اور ان کے لئے جن کے دل پرچائے جاتے ہوں اور گردن چھڑانے میں اور قرضداروں کے لئے اور اللہ کی راہ میں اور راہرو مسافروں کے لئے فرض ہے اللہ کی طرف سے ، اور اللہ علم و حکمت والا ہے ۔

Zakah expenditures are only for the poor and for the needy and for those employed to collect [zakah] and for bringing hearts together [for Islam] and for freeing captives [or slaves] and for those in debt and for the cause of Allah and for the [stranded] traveler - an obligation [imposed] by Allah . And Allah is Knowing and Wise.

ان کے لئے دنیاوی زندگی میں بھی اور آخرت میں بھی خوشخبری ہے اللہ تعالٰی کی باتوں میں کچھ فرق ہوا نہیں کرتا ۔ یہ بڑی کامیابی ہے ۔

For them are good tidings in the worldly life and in the Hereafter. No change is there in the words of Allah . That is what is the great attainment.

اور زمین میں مختلف ٹکڑے ایک دوسرے سے لگتے لگاتے ہیں اور انگوروں کے باغات ہیں اور کھیت ہیں اور کھجوروں کے درخت ہیں شاخ دار اور بعض ایسے ہیں جو بے شاخ ہیں سب ایک ہی پانی پلائے جاتے ہیں ۔ پھر بھی ہم ایک کو ایک پر پھلوں میں برتری دیتے ہیں اس میں عقلمندوں کے لئے بہت سی نشانیاں ہیں ۔

And within the land are neighboring plots and gardens of grapevines and crops and palm trees, [growing] several from a root or otherwise, watered with one water; but We make some of them exceed others in [quality of] fruit. Indeed in that are signs for a people who reason.

ایمان والوں کو اللہ تعالٰی پکی بات کے ساتھ مضبوط رکھتا ہے ، دنیا کی زندگی میں بھی اور آخرت میں بھی ہاں نا انصاف لوگوں کو اللہ بہکا دیتا ہے اور اللہ جو چاہے کر گزرے ۔

Allah keeps firm those who believe, with the firm word, in worldly life and in the Hereafter. And Allah sends astray the wrongdoers. And Allah does what He wills.

تمہاری دنیاوی زندگی میں بھی ہم تمہارے رفیق تھے اور آخرت میں بھی رہیں گے جس چیز کو تمہارا جی چاہے اور جو کچھ تم مانگو سب تمہارے لئے ( جنت میں موجود ) ہے ۔

We [angels] were your allies in worldly life and [are so] in the Hereafter. And you will have therein whatever your souls desire, and you will have therein whatever you request [or wish]

اور یقین والوں کے لئے تو زمین میں بہت سی نشانیاں ہیں ۔

And on the earth are signs for the certain [in faith]

اور تمہاری روزی اور جو تم سے وعدہ کیا جاتا ہے سب آسمان میں ہے ۔

And in the heaven is your provision and whatever you are promised.

خوب جان رکھو کہ دنیا کی زندگی صرف کھیل تماشا زینت اور آپس میں فخر ( و غرور ) اور مال واولاد میں ایک کا دوسرے سے اپنے آپ کو زیادہ بتلانا ہے جیسے بارش اور اس کی پیداوار کسانوں کو اچھی معلوم ہوتی ہے پھر جب وہ خشک ہو جاتی ہے تو زرد رنگ میں اس کو تم دیکھتے ہو پھر وہ بالکل چورا چورا ہوجاتی ہے اور آخرت میں سخت عذاب اور اللہ کی مغفرت اور رضامندی ہے اور دنیا کی زندگی بجز دھوکے کے سامان کے اور کچھ بھی تو نہیں ۔

Know that the life of this world is but amusement and diversion and adornment and boasting to one another and competition in increase of wealth and children - like the example of a rain whose [resulting] plant growth pleases the tillers; then it dries and you see it turned yellow; then it becomes [scattered] debris. And in the Hereafter is severe punishment and forgiveness from Allah and approval. And what is the worldly life except the enjoyment of delusion.
