وہ کہتے ہیں کہ اللہ اولاد رکھتا ہے ۔ سبحان اللہ! وہ تو کسی کا محتاج نہیں اس کی ملکیت ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے ۔ تمہارے پاس اس پر کوئی دلیل نہیں ۔ کیا اللہ کے ذمہ ایسی بات لگاتے ہو جس کا تم علم نہیں رکھتے ۔

They have said, " Allah has taken a son." Exalted is He; He is the [one] Free of need. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. You have no authority for this [claim]. Do you say about Allah that which you do not know?

موسٰی ( علیہ السلام ) نے کہا کہ اگر تم سب اور روئے زمین کے تمام انسان اللہ کی ناشکری کریں تو بھی اللہ بے نیاز اور تعریفوں والا ہے ۔

And Moses said, "If you should disbelieve, you and whoever is on the earth entirely - indeed, Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy."

اور یہ کہہ دیجئے کہ تمام تعریفیں اللہ ہی کے لئے ہیں جو نہ اولاد رکھتا ہے نہ اپنی بادشاہت میں کسی کو شریک ساجھی رکھتا ہے اور نہ وہ کمزور ہے کہ اسے کسی حمایتی کی ضرورت ہو اور تو اس کی پوری پوری بڑائی بیان کرتا رہ ۔

And say, "Praise to Allah , who has not taken a son and has had no partner in [His] dominion and has no [need of a] protector out of weakness; and glorify Him with [great] glorification."

جو لوگ قیامت پر ایمان نہیں لاتے ہم نے انہیں ان کے کرتوت زینت دار کر دکھائے ہیں پس وہ بھٹکتے پھرتے ہیں ۔

Indeed, for those who do not believe in the Hereafter, We have made pleasing to them their deeds, so they wander blindly.

اور ہر ایک کوشش کرنے والا اپنے ہی بھلے کی کوشش کرتا ہے ۔ ویسے تو اللہ تعالٰی تمام جہان والوں سے بے نیاز ہے ۔

And whoever strives only strives for [the benefit of] himself. Indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds.

جس میں کھلی کھلی نشانیاں ہیں ، مقام ابراہیم ہے ، اس میں جو آجائے امن والا ہو جاتا ہے اللہ تعالٰی نے ان لوگوں پر جو اس طرف کی راہ پا سکتے ہوں اس گھر کا حج فرض کر دیا ہے ۔ اور جو کوئی کفر کرے تو اللہ تعالٰی ( اس سے بلکہ ) تمام دنیا سے بے پرواہ ہے ۔

In it are clear signs [such as] the standing place of Abraham. And whoever enters it shall be safe. And [due] to Allah from the people is a pilgrimage to the House - for whoever is able to find thereto a way. But whoever disbelieves - then indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds.

اے لوگو! تم اللہ کے محتاج ہو اور اللہ بے نیاز اور خوبیوں والا ہے ۔

O mankind, you are those in need of Allah , while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.

اس کے بعد ہم نے اس کی قوم پر آسمان سے کوئی لشکر نہ اُتارا ، اور نہ اس طرح ہم اُتارا کرتے ہیں ۔

And We did not send down upon his people after him any soldiers from the heaven, nor would We have done so.

زمین اور آسمانوں کی ہر ہرچیز اللہ تعالٰی ہی کی ملکیت میں ہے واقعی ہم نے ان لوگوں کو جو تم سے پہلے کتاب دیئے گئے تھے اور تم کو بھی یہی حکم کیا ہے کہ اللہ سے ڈرتے رہو اور اگر تم کفر کرو تو یاد رکھو کہ اللہ کے لئے ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے اور اللہ بہت بے نیاز اور تعریف کیا گیا ہے ۔

And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And We have instructed those who were given the Scripture before you and yourselves to fear Allah . But if you disbelieve - then to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And ever is Allah Free of need and Praiseworthy.

نہ میں ان سے روزی چاہتا ہوں اور نہ میری یہ چاہت ہے کہ مجھے کھلائیں ۔

I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me.

آپ کہئے کہ کیا اللہ کے سوا ، جو کہ آسمانوں اور زمین کا پیدا کرنے والا ہے جو کہ کھانے کو دیتا ہے اور اس کو کوئی کھانے نہیں دیتا اور کسی کو معبود قرار دوں آپ فرما دیجئے کہ مجھ کو یہ حکم ہوا ہے کہ سب سے پہلے میں اسلام قبول کروں اور تو مشرکین میں سے ہرگز نہ ہونا ۔

Say, "Is it other than Allah I should take as a protector, Creator of the heavens and the earth, while it is He who feeds and is not fed?" Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, I have been commanded to be the first [among you] who submit [to Allah ] and [was commanded], 'Do not ever be of the polytheists.' "
