And when it is said to them, "Believe as the people have believed," they say, "Should we believe as the foolish have believed?" Unquestionably, it is they who are the foolish, but they know [it] not.
Aur jab inn say kaha jata hai kay aur logon ( yani sahaba ) ki tarah tum bhi eman lao to jawab detay hain kay kiya hum aisa eman layen jaisa bey waqoof laye hain khabardaar hojao! yaqeenan yehi bey waqoof hain lekin jantay nahi.
और जब उनसे कहा जाता है कि तुम भी उसी तरह ईमान ले आओ जैसे दूसरे लोग ईमान लाए हैं तो वे कहते हैं कि क्या हम भी उसी तरह ईमान ले आएं जैसे बेवक़ूफ़ लोग ईमान लाए हैं ख़ूब अच्छी तरह सुन लो कि यही लोग बेवक़ूफ़ हैं लेकिन वे यह बात नहीं जानते।
And when it is said to them, "Believe in what Allah has revealed," they say, "We believe [only] in what was revealed to us." And they disbelieve in what came after it, while it is the truth confirming that which is with them. Say, "Then why did you kill the prophets of Allah before, if you are [indeed] believers?"
Aur jab inn say kaha jata hai kay Allah Taalaa ki utari hui kitab per eman lao to keh detay hain kay jo hum per utari gaee uss per humara eman hai. Halankay iss kay baad wali kay sath jo inn ki kitab ki tasdeeq kerney wali hai kufur kertay hain acha inn say yeh to daryaft keren kay agar tumhara eman pehli kitabon per hai to phir tum ney aglay anbiya ko kiyon qatal kiya?
और जब उनसे कहा जाता है कि उस कलाम पर ईमान ले आओ जो अल्लाह ने उतारा है तो वे कहते हैं कि हम उस पर ईमान रखते हैं जो हमारे ऊपर उतरा है, और वे उसका इनकार करते हैं जो उसके पीछे आया; हालाँकि वह हक़ है और सच्चा करने वाला है उसका जो उनके पास है, कहोः अगर तुम ईमान वाले हो तो तुम अल्लाह के पैग़म्बरों को उससे पहले क्यों क़त्ल करते रहे हो।
And a faction of the People of the Scripture say [to each other], "Believe in that which was revealed to the believers at the beginning of the day and reject it at its end that perhaps they will abandon their religion,
Aur ehal-e-kitab ki aik jamat ney kaha kay jo kuch eman walon per utara gaya hai uss per din charhay to eman lao aur shaam kay waqt kafir bann jao takay yeh log bhi palat jayen.
और अहले-किताब के एक गिरोह ने कहा कि मुसलमानों पर जो चीज़ उतारी गई है उस पर सुबह-सवेरे ईमान ले आओ और शाम को उसका इनकार कर दो, शायद कि मुसलमान भी उससे फिर जाएं।
Our Lord, indeed we have heard a caller calling to faith, [saying], 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord, so forgive us our sins and remove from us our misdeeds and cause us to die with the righteous.
Aey humaray rab! Hum ney suna kay munadi kerney wala ba-aawaz buland eman ki taraf bula raha hai kay logo! Apney rab per eman lao pus hum eman laye. Ya elahee! Abb to humaray gunah moaf farma aur humari buraiyan hum say door ker dey aur humari maut nekon kay sath ker.
ऐ हमारे (प्यारे) रब! हमने एक पुकारने वाले को सुना जो ईमान की तरफ़ बुला रहा था कि अपने रब पर ईमान ले आओ पस हम ईमान ले आए, ऐ हमारे रब! हमारे गुनाहों को बख़्श दीजिए और हमारी बुराइयों को हम से दूर कर दीजिए और हमारा ख़ातमा नेक लोगों के साथ फ़रमाइए।
O you who were given the Scripture, believe in what We have sent down [to Muhammad], confirming that which is with you, before We obliterate faces and turn them toward their backs or curse them as We cursed the sabbath-breakers. And ever is the decree of Allah accomplished.
Aey ehal-e-kitab! Jo kuch hum ney nazil farmaya hai jo uss ki bhi tasdeeq kerney wala hai jo tumharay pass hai iss per eman lao iss say pehlay hum chehray bigaar den aur enhen lota ker peeth ki taraf ker den ya inn per laanat bhejen jaisay hum ney haftay kay din walon per laanat ki aur hai Allah Taalaa ka kaam kiya gaya.
ऐ वे लोगो जिनको किताब दी गई! उस पर ईमान लाओ जो हमने उतारा है, तस्दीक़ करने वाली उस किताब की जो तुम्हारे पास है, इससे पहले कि हम चेहरों को मिटा दें फिर उनको उलट दें पीठ की तरफ़ या उन पर लानत करें जैसे हमने लानत की सनीचर वालों पर, और अल्लाह का हुक्म पूरा होकर रहता है।
O you who have believed, believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Book that He sent down upon His Messenger and the Scripture which He sent down before. And whoever disbelieves in Allah , His angels, His books, His messengers, and the Last Day has certainly gone far astray.
Aey eman walo! Allah Taalaa per uss kay rasool ( PBUH ) per aur uss kitab per jo uss ney apney rasool ( PBUH ) per utari hai aur unn kitabon per jo iss say pehlay uss ney nazil farmaee hain eman lao! Jo shaks Allah Taalaa say aur uss kay farishton say aur uss ki kitabon say aur uss kay rasoolon say aur qayamat kay din say kufur keray woh to boht baray door ki gumrahi mein jaa para.
ऐ ईमान वालो! ईमान लाओ अल्लाह पर और उसके रसूल पर और उस किताब पर जो उसने अपने रसूल पर उतारी और उस किताब पर जो उसने पहले नाज़िल की, और जो शख़्स इनकार करे अल्लाह का और उसके फ़रिश्तों का और उसकी किताबों का और उसके रसूलों का और आख़िरत के दिन का तो वह बहक कर दूर जा पड़ा।
And [remember] when I inspired to the disciples, "Believe in Me and in My messenger Jesus." They said, "We have believed, so bear witness that indeed we are Muslims [in submission to Allah ]."
Aur jabkay mein ney hawareen ko hukum diya kay tum mujh per aur meray rasool per eman laao unhon ney kaha hum eman laye aur aap shahid rahiye kay hum pooray farman bardaar hain.
और जब मैंने हवारियों के दिल में डाल दिया कि मुझ पर और मेरे रसूल पर ईमान लाओ तो उन्होंने कहा कि हम ईमान लाए और आप गवाह रहिए कि हम फ़रमाँबरदार हैं।
And when a surah was revealed [enjoining them] to believe in Allah and to fight with His Messenger, those of wealth among them asked your permission [to stay back] and said, "Leave us to be with them who sit [at home]."
Jab koi surat utari jati hai kay Allah per eman lao aur uss kay rasool kay sath mill ker jihad kero to inn mein say dolat mandon kay aik tabqa aap kay pass aaker yeh keh ker rukhsat ley leta hai kay humen to bethay rehney walon mein hi chor chor dijiye.
और जब कोई सूरत उतरती है कि अल्लाह पर ईमान लाओ और उसके रसूल के साथ जिहाद करो तो उनके ख़ुशहाल लोग आपसे रुख़्सत माँगते हैं और कहते हैं कि हमको छोड़ दीजिए कि हम यहाँ ठहरने वालों के साथ रह जाएं।
Say, "Believe in it or do not believe. Indeed, those who were given knowledge before it - when it is recited to them, they fall upon their faces in prostration,
Keh dijiye! Tum iss per eman laao ya na laao jinehn iss say pehlay ilm diya gaya hai unn kay pass to jab bhi iss ki tilawat ki jati hai to woh thoriyon kay bal sajda mein gir partay hain.
कह दो, "तुम उसे मानो या न मानो, जिन लोगों को इस से पहले ज्ञान दिया गया है, उन्हें जब वह पढ़कर सुनाया जाता है, तो वे ठोड़ियों के बल सजदे में गिर पड़ते हैं
Believe in Allah and His Messenger and spend out of that in which He has made you successors. For those who have believed among you and spent, there will be a great reward.
Allah per aur uss kay raool per eman ley aao aur uss maal mein say kharch kero jiss mein Allah ney tumhen doosron ka janasheen banaya hai pus jo tum mein say eman leyen aur kheraat keren unhen boht bara sawab milay ga.
ईमान लाओ अल्लाह और उस के रसूल पर और उस में से ख़र्च करो जिस का उस ने तु्म्हें अधिकारी बनाया है। तो तुम में से जो लोग ईमान लाए और उन्होंने ख़र्च किया, उन के लिए बड़ा प्रतिदान है
