But Satan caused them to slip out of it and removed them from that [condition] in which they had been. And We said, "Go down, [all of you], as enemies to one another, and you will have upon the earth a place of settlement and provision for a time."
Lekin shetan ney unn ko behka ker wahan say nikalwa hi diya aur hum ney keh diya kay utar jao! tum aik doosray kay dushman ho aur aik waqt-e-muqarrara tak tumharay liye zamin mein theharna aur faeeda uthana hai.
फिर शैतान ने उस दरख़्त के ज़रिए दोनों को लग़ज़िश में मुब्तला कर दिया और उनको उस (ऐश) से निकाल दिया जिसमें वे थे, और हमने कहाः तुम सब उतरो यहाँ से तुम एक-दूसरे के दुश्मन होगे, और तुम्हारे लिए ज़मीन में ठहरना और काम चलाना है एक मुद्दत तक।
That was a nation which has passed on. It will have [the consequence of] what it earned, and you will have what you have earned. And you will not be asked about what they used to do.
Yeh jamat to guzar chuki jo unhon ney kaha woh unn kay liye hai aur jo tum kero gay woh tumharay liye hai. Unn kay aemaal kay baray mein tum nahi poochay jao gay.
यह एक जमात थी जो गुज़र गई, उसको मिलेगा जो उसने कमाया और तुमको मिलेगा जो तुमने कमाया, और तुमसे उनके किए हुए की पूछ न होगी।
Say, [O Muhammad], "Do you argue with us about Allah while He is our Lord and your Lord? For us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds. And we are sincere [in deed and intention] to Him."
Aap keh dijiye kay kiya tum hum say Allah kay baray mein jhagartay ho jo humara aur tumhara rab hai humaray liye humaray aemaal hain aur tumharay liye tumharay aemaal hum to ussi kay liye mukhlis hain.
कहोः क्या तुम अल्लाह के बारे में हमसे झगड़ते हो, हालाँकि वह हमारा रब भी है और तुम्हारा रब भी, हमारे लिए हमारे आमाल और तुम्हारे लिए तुम्हारे आमाल हैं, और हमने तो अपनी बंदगी उसी के लिए ख़ालिस कर ली है।
That is a nation which has passed on. It will have [the consequence of] what it earned, and you will have what you have earned. And you will not be asked about what they used to do.
Yeh ummat hai jo guzar chuki jo unhon ney kiya unn kay liye hai aur jo tum ney kiya tumharay liye tum unn kay aemaal kay baray mein sawal na kiye jao gay.
यह एक जमात थी जो गुज़र गई, उसको मिलेगा जो उसने कमाया और तुमको मिलेगा जो तुमने कमाया, और तुमसे उनके किए हुए की पूछ न होगी।
And there is for you in legal retribution [saving of] life, O you [people] of understanding, that you may become righteous.
Aqal mandon! Qisass mein tumharay liye zindagi hai iss baees tum ( qatal-e-na haq say ) ruko gay.
और ऐ अक़्ल वालो! क़िसास में तुम्हारे लिए ज़िंदगी है; ताकि तुम बचो।
And for you is half of what your wives leave if they have no child. But if they have a child, for you is one fourth of what they leave, after any bequest they [may have] made or debt. And for the wives is one fourth if you leave no child. But if you leave a child, then for them is an eighth of what you leave, after any bequest you [may have] made or debt. And if a man or woman leaves neither ascendants nor descendants but has a brother or a sister, then for each one of them is a sixth. But if they are more than two, they share a third, after any bequest which was made or debt, as long as there is no detriment [caused]. [This is] an ordinance from Allah , and Allah is Knowing and Forbearing.
Tumhari biwiyan jo kuch chor maren aur unn ki aulad na ho to aadhon aadh tumhara hai aur agar unn ki aulad ho to unn kay choray huye maal say tumharay liye chothaee hissa hai. Uss wasiyat ki adaayegi kay baad jo woh ker gaee hon ya qarz kay baad. Aur jo ( tarka ) tum chor jao uss mein unn kay liye aik chothaee hai agar tumhari aulad na ho aur agar tumhari aulad ho to phir unhen tumharay tarkay ka aathwan hissa milay ga uss wasiyat kay baad jo tum ker gaye ho aur qarz ki adaayegi kay baad. Aur jin ki meerass li jati hai woh mard ya aurat kalala ho yani uss ka baap beta na ho aur uss ka aik bhai ya aik behan ho to inn dono mein say her aik ka chatha hissa hai aur agar iss say ziyada hon to aik tehaee mein sab shareek hain uss wasiyat kay baad jo ki jaye aur qarz kay baad jabkay auron ka nuksan na kiya gaya ho yeh muqarrar kiya hua Allah Taalaa ki taraf say hai aur Allah Taalaa daana hai burdbaar.
और तुम्हारे लिए उस माल का आधा हिस्सा है जो तुम्हारी बीवियाँ छोड़ें उस वक़्त जबकि उनकी औलाद न हों, और अगर उनकी औलाद हो तो तुम्हारे लिए बीवियों के तर्के का चैथाई हिस्सा है वसीयत पूरी करने के बाद जिस की वह वसीयत कर जाएं या क़र्ज़ अदा करने के बाद, और उन बीवियों के लिए चैथाई है तुम्हारे तर्के का अगर तुम्हारी औलाद नहीं है, और अगर तुम्हारी औलाद है तो उनके लिए आठवाँ हिस्सा है तुम्हारे तर्के का उस वसीयत के पूरा करने के बाद जिसे तुम कर जाओ या क़र्ज़ अदा करने के बाद, और अगर कोई मय्यत मर्द या औरत ऐसा हो कि उसके न ऊपर वाले रिश्तेदार हों न नीचे वाले और उसका एक भाई या एक बहन हो तो दोनों में से हर एक के लिए छठा हिस्सा है, और अगर वे उससे ज़ायद हों तो वे एक-तिहाई में शरीक होंगे वसीयत पूरी करने के बाद जिसकी वसीयत की गई हो या क़र्ज अदा करने के बाद, बग़ैर किसी को नुक़सान पहुँचाए, यह हुक्म अल्लाह की तरफ़ से है और अल्लाह जानने वाला, बुर्दबार है।
[ Allah ] said, "Descend, being to one another enemies. And for you on the earth is a place of settlement and enjoyment for a time."
Haq Taalaa ney farmaya kay neechay aisi halat mein aajao kay tum bahum aik doosray kay dushman hogay aur tumharay wastay zamin mein rehney ki jagah hai aur nafa hasil kerna hai aik waqt tak.
अल्लाह ने कहाः उतरो तुम एक-दूसरे के दुश्मन होगे और तुम्हारे लिए ज़मीन में एक ख़ास मुद्दत तक ठहरना और नफ़ा उठाना है।
And if they deny you, [O Muhammad], then say, "For me are my deeds, and for you are your deeds. You are disassociated from what I do, and I am disassociated from what you do."
Aur agar aap ko jhutlatay rahen to yeh keh dijiye kay meray liye mera amal aur tumhara liye tumhara amal tum meray amal say bari ho aur mein tumharay amal say bari hun.
और अगर वे आपको झुठलाते हैं तो कह दीजिए कि मेरा अमल मेरे लिए है और तुम्हारा अमल तुम्हारे लिए, तुम उससे बरी हो जो मैं करता हूँ और मैं भी उससे बरी हूँ जो तुम कर रहे हो।
And for you in them is [the enjoyment of] beauty when you bring them in [for the evening] and when you send them out [to pasture].
Aur inn mein tumhari ronaq bhi hai jab chara ker laao tab bhi aur jab charaney ley jao tab bhi.
और उनमें तुम्हारे लिए रौनक़ है जबकि शाम के वक़्त उनको लाते हो और जब सुबह के वक़्त छोड़ते हो।
And do not take your oaths as [means of] deceit between you, lest a foot slip after it was [once] firm, and you would taste evil [in this world] for what [people] you diverted from the way of Allah , and you would have [in the Hereafter] a great punishment.
Aur tum apni qasmon ko aapas ki dagha baazi ka bahana na banao. Phir to tumharay qadam apni mazbooti kay baad dagmaga jayen gay aur tumhen sakht saza bardasht kerna paray gi kiyon kay tum ney Allah ki raah say rok diya aur tumhen bara sakht azab hoga.
और तुम अपनी क़समों को आपस में फ़रेब का ज़रिया न बनाओ कि कोई क़दम जमने के बाद फिसल जाए और तुम इस बात की सज़ा चखो कि तुमने अल्लाह की राह से रोका, और तुम्हारे लिए एक बड़ा अज़ाब है।
And indeed, for you in livestock is a lesson. We give you drink from that which is in their bellies, and for you in them are numerous benefits, and from them you eat.
Tumhray liye chopayon mein bhi boht bari bhari ibrat hai. inn kay peton mein say hum doodh pilatay hain aur bhi boht say nafay tumharay liye inn mein hain inn mein say baaz baaz ko tum khatay bhi ho.
और निश्चय ही तुम्हारे लिए चौपायों में भी एक शिक्षा है। उन के पेटों में जो कुछ है उस में से हम तुम्हें पिलाते हैं। और तुम्हारे लिए उन में बहुत-से फ़ायदे हैं और उन्हें तुम खाते भी हो
And when they hear ill speech, they turn away from it and say, "For us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds. Peace will be upon you; we seek not the ignorant."
Aur jab bey huda baat kaan mein parti hai to uss say kinara ker letay hain aur keh detay hain kay humaray amal humaray liye aur tumharay amal tumharay liye tum per salam ho hum jahilon say ( ulajhna ) nahi chahatay.
और जब वे व्यर्थ बात सुनते हैं तो यह कहते हुए उस से किनारा खींच लेते हैं कि "हमारे लिए हमारे कर्म हैं और तुम्हारे लिए तुम्हारे कर्म हैं। तुम को सलाम है! ज़ाहिलों को हम नहीं चाहते।"
And for you therein are [other] benefits and that you may realize upon them a need which is in your breasts; and upon them and upon ships you are carried.
Aur bhi tumharay liye inn mein boht say nafay hain aur takay apnay seeno mein chupi hui hajaton ko inhi per sawari kerkay tum hasil kerlo aur inn chopayon per aur kashtiyon per sawar kiyey jatay ho.
उन में तुम्हारे लिए और भी फ़ायदे हैं - और ताकि उन के द्वारा तुम उस आवश्यकता की पूर्ति कर सको जो तुम्हारे सीनों में हो, और उन पर भी और नौकाओं पर भी सवार होते हो
We [angels] were your allies in worldly life and [are so] in the Hereafter. And you will have therein whatever your souls desire, and you will have therein whatever you request [or wish]
Tumhari dunyawi zindagi mein bhi hum tumharay rafiq thay aur aakhirat mein bhi rahen gay jiss cheez ko tumhara ji chahye aur jo kuch tum mango sab tumharay liye ( jannat mein mojood ) hai.
हम सांसारिक जीवन में भी तुम्हारे सहचर मित्र हैं और आख़िरत में भी। और वहाँ तुम्हारे लिए वह सब कुछ है, जिस की इच्छा तुम्हारे जी को होगी। और वहाँ तुम्हारे लिए वह सब कुछ होगा, जिस का तुम माँग करोगे
We [angels] were your allies in worldly life and [are so] in the Hereafter. And you will have therein whatever your souls desire, and you will have therein whatever you request [or wish]
Tumhari dunyawi zindagi mein bhi hum tumharay rafiq thay aur aakhirat mein bhi rahen gay jiss cheez ko tumhara ji chahye aur jo kuch tum mango sab tumharay liye ( jannat mein mojood ) hai.
हम सांसारिक जीवन में भी तुम्हारे सहचर मित्र हैं और आख़िरत में भी। और वहाँ तुम्हारे लिए वह सब कुछ है, जिस की इच्छा तुम्हारे जी को होगी। और वहाँ तुम्हारे लिए वह सब कुछ होगा, जिस का तुम माँग करोगे
So to that [religion of Allah ] invite, [O Muhammad], and remain on a right course as you are commanded and do not follow their inclinations but say, "I have believed in what Allah has revealed of the Qur'an, and I have been commanded to do justice among you. Allah is our Lord and your Lord. For us are our deeds, and for you your deeds. There is no [need for] argument between us and you. Allah will bring us together, and to Him is the [final] destination."
Pus aap logon ko issi tarah bulatay rahen aur jo kuch aap say kaha gaya hai uss per mazbooti say jamm jayen aur inn ki khuwaishon per na chalen aur keh den kay Allah Taalaa ney jitni kitaben nazil farmaee hain mera unn per eman hai aur mujhay humkum diya gaya hai kay tum mein insaf kerta rahon. Humara aur tum sab ka perwerdigar Allah hi hai humaray aemaal humaray liye hain aur tumharay aemaal tumharay liye hain hum tum mein koi cut hujjati nahi Allah Taalaa hum ( sab ) ko jama keray ga aur ussi ki taraf lotna hai.
अतः इसी लिए (उन्हें सत्य की ओर) बुलाओ, और जैसा कि तुम्हें हुक्म दिया गया है स्वयं क़ायम रहो, और उन की इच्छाओं का पालन न करना और कह दो, "अल्लाह ने जो किताब अवतरित की है, मैं उस पर ईमान लाया। मुझे तो आदेश हुआ है कि मैं तुम्हारे बीच न्याय करूँ। अल्लाह ही हमारा भी रब है और तुम्हारा भी। हमारे लिए हमारे कर्म हैं और तुम्हारे लिए तुम्हारे कर्म। हम में और तुम में कोई झगड़ा नहीं। अल्लाह हम सबको इकट्ठा करेगा और अन्ततः उसी की ओर जाना है।"
