جب ان کے سامنے ہماری روشن آیتیں تلاوت کی جاتی ہیں تو کافر مسلمانوں سے کہتے ہیں بتاؤ ہم تم دونوں جماعتوں میں سے کس کا مرتبہ زیادہ ہے؟ اور کس کی مجلس شاندار ہے؟

And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Which of [our] two parties is best in position and best in association?"

وہی اللہ ہے جس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں ، بہترین نام اسی کے ہیں ۔

Allah - there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the best names.

یہ دونوں اپنے رب کے بارے میں اختلاف کرنے والے ہیں پس کافروں کے لئے تو آگ کے کپڑےبیونت کر کاٹے جائیں گے ، اور ان کے سروں کے اوپر سے سخت کھولتا ہوا پانی بہایا جائے گا ۔

These are two adversaries who have disputed over their Lord. But those who disbelieved will have cut out for them garments of fire. Poured upon their heads will be scalding water

اندھے پر لنگڑے پر بیمار پر اور خود تم پر ( مطلقاً ) کوئی حرج نہیں کہ تم اپنے گھروں سے کھالو یا اپنے باپوں کے گھروں سے یا اپنی ماؤں کے گھروں سے یا اپنے بھائیوں کے گھروں سے یا اپنی بہنوں کے گھروں سے یا اپنے چچاؤں کے گھروں سے یا اپنی پھوپھیوں کے گھروں یا اپنے ماموؤں کے گھروں سے یا اپنی خالاؤں کے گھروں سے یا ان گھروں سے جن کی کنجیوں کے تم مالک ہو یا اپنے دوستوں کے گھروں سے تم پر اس میں بھی کوئی گناہ نہیں کہ تم سب ساتھ بیٹھ کر کھانا کھاؤ یا الگ الگ ۔ پس جب تم گھروں میں جانے لگو تو اپنے گھر والوں کو سلام کر لیا کرو ، دعائے خیر ہے جو بابرکت اور پاکیزہ ہے اللہ تعالٰی کی طرف سے نازل شدہ ، یوں ہی اللہ تعالٰی کھول کھول کر تم سے اپنے احکام بیان فرما رہا ہے تاکہ تم سمجھ لو ۔

There is not upon the blind [any] constraint nor upon the lame constraint nor upon the ill constraint nor upon yourselves when you eat from your [own] houses or the houses of your fathers or the houses of your mothers or the houses of your brothers or the houses of your sisters or the houses of your father's brothers or the houses of your father's sisters or the houses of your mother's brothers or the houses of your mother's sisters or [from houses] whose keys you possess or [from the house] of your friend. There is no blame upon you whether you eat together or separately. But when you enter houses, give greetings of peace upon each other - a greeting from Allah , blessed and good. Thus does Allah make clear to you the verses [of ordinance] that you may understand.

بیشک اس میں یقیناً نشانی ہے اور ان میں کے اکثر لوگ مومن نہیں ہیں ۔

Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers.

ہم آپ کے سامنے موسیٰ اور فرعون کا صحیح واقعہ بیان کرتے ہیں ان لوگوں کے لئے جو ایمان رکھتے ہیں ۔

We recite to you from the news of Moses and Pharaoh in truth for a people who believe.

پوچھئے کہ تمہیں آسمانوں اور زمین سے روزی کون پہنچاتا ہے؟ ( خود ) جواب دیجئے! کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ۔ ( سنو ) ہم یا تم ۔ یا تو یقیناً ہدایت پر ہیں یا کھلی گمراہی میں ہیں؟

Say, "Who provides for you from the heavens and the earth?" Say, " Allah . And indeed, we or you are either upon guidance or in clear error."

عالم بالا کے فرشتوں ( کی باتوں ) کو سننے کے لئے وہ کان بھی نہیں لگا سکتے ، بلکہ ہر طرف سے وہ مارے جاتے ہیں ۔

[So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side,

پھر جب تم نماز ادا کر چکو تو اٹھتے بیٹھتے اور لیٹے اللہ تعالٰی کا ذکر کرتے رہو اور جب اطمینان پاؤ تو نماز قائم کرو! یقیناً نماز مومنوں پر مقررہ وقتوں پر فرض ہے ۔

And when you have completed the prayer, remember Allah standing, sitting, or [lying] on your sides. But when you become secure, re-establish [regular] prayer. Indeed, prayer has been decreed upon the believers a decree of specified times.

جو دونوں گہری سبز سیاہی مائل ہیں ۔

Dark green [in color].

اور داہنے ہاتھ والے کیا ہی اچھے ہیں داہنے ہاتھ والے ۔

The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right?

اس دن منافق مرد و عورت ایمان والوں سے کہیں گے کہ ہمارا انتظار تو کرو کہ ہم بھی تمہارے نور سے کچھ روشنی حاصل کرلیں ۔ جواب دیا جائے گا کہ تم اپنے پیچھے لوٹ جاؤ اور روشنی تلاش کرو پھر ان کے اور ان کے درمیان ایک دیوار حائل کر دی جائے گی جس میں دروازہ بھی ہوگا اس کے اندرونی حصہ میں تو رحمت ہوگی اور باہر کی طرف عذاب ہوگا ۔

On the [same] Day the hypocrite men and hypocrite women will say to those who believed, "Wait for us that we may acquire some of your light." It will be said, "Go back behind you and seek light." And a wall will be placed between them with a door, its interior containing mercy, but on the outside of it is torment.

اور میں ان چیزوں سے کیسے ڈروں جن کو تم نے شریک بنایا ہے حالانکہ تم اس بات سے نہیں ڈرتے کہ تم نے اللہ کے ساتھ ایسی چیزوں کو شریک ٹھہرایا ہے جن پر اللہ تعالٰی نے کوئی دلیل نازل نہیں فرمائی ، سو ان دو جماعتوں میں سے امن کا زیادہ مستحق کون ہے اگر تم خبر رکھتے ہو ۔

And how should I fear what you associate while you do not fear that you have associated with Allah that for which He has not sent down to you any authority? So which of the two parties has more right to security, if you should know?

اور ان دونوں کے درمیان ایک آڑ ہوگی اور اعراف کے اوپر بہت سے آدمی ہونگے وہ لوگ ہر ایک کو ان کے قیافہ سے پہچانیں گے اور اہل جنت کو پکار کر کہیں گے السلامُ علیکم! ابھی یہ اہل اعراف جنت میں داخل نہیں ہوئے ہونگے اور اس کے امیدوار ہونگے ۔

And between them will be a partition, and on [its] elevations are men who recognize all by their mark. And they call out to the companions of Paradise, "Peace be upon you." They have not [yet] entered it, but they long intensely.

جس دن اس خزانے کو آتش دوزخ میں تپایا جائے گا پھر اس دن ان کی پیشانیاں اور پہلو اور پیٹھیں داغی جائیں گی ( ان سے کہا جائے گا ) یہ ہے جسے تم نے اپنے لئے خزانہ بنا رکھا تھا ۔ پس اپنے خزانوں کا مزہ چکھو ۔

The Day when it will be heated in the fire of Hell and seared therewith will be their foreheads, their flanks, and their backs, [it will be said], "This is what you hoarded for yourselves, so taste what you used to hoard."
