In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Shuroo Allah kay naam say jo bara meharban nehayat reham kerney wala hai
अल्लाह के नाम से जो बड़ा कृपालु और अत्यन्त दयावान है।
Has there reached you the report of the Overwhelming [event]?
Kiya tujhy bhi chopa lyney wali ( qiyamat ) ki khabar phunchi hay
क्या तुम्हें उस छा जाने वाली की ख़बर पहुँची है?
[Some] faces, that Day, will be humbled,
Us din bohat say chehry zalil hongy
उस दिन कितने ही चेहरे गिरे हुए होंगे,
Working [hard] and exhausted.
( aur ) mehnat kerney walay thakay huye hongay
कठिन परिश्रम में पड़े, थके-हारे
They will [enter to] burn in an intensely hot Fire.
Woh dehakti hoi aag mein jaein gy
दहकती आग में प्रवेश करेंगे
They will be given drink from a boiling spring.
Aur nihayat garm chasmy ka pani unko pilaya jaey ga
खौलते हुए स्रोत से पिएँगे,
For them there will be no food except from a poisonous, thorny plant
in kay liey siway-e-kanty dar darkhton kay aur kuch khana na hoga
उन के लिए कोई खाना न होगा सिवाय एक प्रकार के ज़री के,
Which neither nourishes nor avails against hunger.
Jo na mota karey ga na bhook mitaey ga
जो न पुष्ट करे और न भूख मिटाए
[Other] faces, that Day, will show pleasure.
Buhat say chehry usdin tar o taza aur ( asoda hall ) hongy
उस दिन कितने ही चेहरे प्रफुल्लित और सौम्य होंगे,
With their effort [they are] satisfied
Apni koshish per khush hongy
अपने प्रयास पर प्रसन्न,
In an elevated garden,
Buland o bala janaton mein hongay
उच्च जन्नत में,
Wherein they will hear no unsuitable speech.
Jahan koi byhoda bat nahi sunein gaein
जिस में कोई व्यर्थ बात न सुनेंगे
Within it is a flowing spring.
Jahan bhyta hoa chashma hoga
उस में स्रोत प्रवाहित होगा,
Within it are couches raised high
( Aur ) us mein onchy onchy takht hongy
उस में ऊँची-ऊँची मसनदें होगी,
And cups put in place
Aur aabkhory rakhy hoy ( hongy )
प्याले ढंग से रखे होंगे,
And cushions lined up
Aur ik qatar mein lagy hoy takiey hongy
क्रम से गाव तकिए लगे होंगे,
And carpets spread around.
Aur makhmali masnadein pheli pari hongi
और हर ओर क़ालीने बिछी होंगी
Then do they not look at the camels - how they are created?
Kiya yeh onton ko nahi dekhty kay wok is tarah paida kiey gay hein
फिर क्या वे ऊँट की ओर नहीं देखते कि कैसा बनाया गया?
And at the sky - how it is raised?
Aur asmano ko kay kis tarah oncha kiya gaya hay
और आकाश की ओर कि कैसा ऊँचा किया गया?
And at the mountains - how they are erected?
Aur paharon ki tarf kay kis tarah gar dey gay hein
और पहाड़ो की ओर कि कैसे खड़े किए गए?
And at the earth - how it is spread out?
Aur zameen ki tarf kay kis tarah bechaei gai hay
और धरती की ओर कि कैसी बिछाई गई?
So remind, [O Muhammad]; you are only a reminder.
Pus ap nasehat ker dia kerein ( qk ) ap sirf nasehat kerney waly hein
अच्छा तो नसीहत करो! तुम तो बस एक नसीहत करने वाले हो
You are not over them a controller.
Ap kuch in per darogha nahi hein
तुम उन पर कोई दरोग़ा नही हो
However, he who turns away and disbelieves -
Han jo shakhs rogardani kerty aur kufur kery
किन्तु जिस किसी ने मुँह फेरा और इनकार किया,
Then Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment.
usy Allah Taalaa buhat bara azab dyga
तो अल्लाह उसे बड़ी यातना देगा
Indeed, to Us is their return.
be-shak hamari taraf inko lotna hay
निस्संदेह हमारी ओर ही है उन का लौटना,
Then indeed, upon Us is their account.
Phir be-shak hamaray zimmay hay inn say hisab lena
फिर हमारे ही ज़िम्मे है उन का हिसाब लेना
