And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate before Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers.
Aur jab hum ney farishton say kaha kay aadam ko sajda kero to iblees kay siwa sab ney sajda kiya. Uss ney inkar kiya aur takabbur kiya aur woh kafiron mein hogaya.
और जब हमने फ़रिश्तों से कहा कि आदम को सज्दा करो तो उन्होंने सज्दा किया मगर इबलीस ने न किया, उसने इनकार किया और घमंड किया और काफ़िरों में से हो गया।
We said, "Go down from it, all of you. And when guidance comes to you from Me, whoever follows My guidance - there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.
Hum ney kaha tum sab yahan say chalay jao jab kabhi tumharay pass meri hidayat phonchay to uss ki tabey daari kerney walon per koi khof-o-ghum nahi.
हमने कहाः तुम सब यहाँ से उतरो, फिर जब आए तुम्हारे पास मेरी तरफ़ से कोई हिदायत तो जो मेरी हिदायत की पैरवी करेंगे उनके लिए न कोई डर होगा और न वे ग़मगीन होंगे।
And [recall] when We said, "Enter this city and eat from it wherever you will in [ease and] abundance, and enter the gate bowing humbly and say, 'Relieve us of our burdens.' We will [then] forgive your sins for you, and We will increase the doers of good [in goodness and reward]."
Aur hum ney tum say kaha uss basti mein jao aur jo kuch ja kahin say chahao ba faraghat khao piyo aur darwazay mein sajday kertay huye guzro aur zaban say hitta kaho hum tumhari khatayen moaf farma den gay aur neki kerney walon ko aur ziyada den gay.
और जब हमने कहा कि दाख़िल हो जाओ इस शहर में और खाओ उसमें से जहाँ से चाहो जी भर के, और दाख़िल हो दरवाज़े में सर झुकाए हुए और कहो कि ऐ रब! हमारी ख़ताओं को बख़्श दे, हम तुम्हारी ख़ताओं को बख़्श देंगे, और नेकी करने वालों को ज़्यादा भी देंगे।
And We have certainly created you, [O Mankind], and given you [human] form. Then We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He was not of those who prostrated.
Aur hum ney tum ko peda kiya phri hum hi ney tumhari soorat banaee phir hum ney farishton say kaha aadam ko sajda kero so sab ney sajda kiya ba-juz iblees kay woh sajda kerney walon mein shamil na hua.
और हमने तुमको पैदा किया फिर हमने तुम्हारी सूरतें बनाईं फिर फ़रिश्तों से कहा कि आदम को सज्दा करो पस उन्होंने सज्दा किया मगर इबलीस सज्दा करने वालों में शामिल न हुआ।
So when they were insolent about that which they had been forbidden, We said to them, "Be apes, despised."
Yani jab woh jiss kaam say unn ko mana kiya gaya tha uss mein hadd say nikal gaye to hum ney unn ko keh diya tum zaleel bandar bann jao.
फिर जब वे बढ़ने लगे उस काम में जिससे वे रोके गए थे तो हमने उनसे कहा कि ज़लील बंदर बन जाओ।
[So it was], until when Our command came and the oven overflowed, We said, "Load upon the ship of each [creature] two mates and your family, except those about whom the word has preceded, and [include] whoever has believed." But none had believed with him, except a few.
Yahan tak kay jab humara hukum aa phoncha aur tanoor ubalney laga hum ney kaha kay iss kashti mein her qisam kay ( jaandaron mein say ) joray ( yani ) do ( janwar aik nurr aur aik mada ) sawar kera ley aur apney ghar kay logon ko bhi siwaye unn kay jin per pehlay say baat parr chuki hai aur sab eman walon ko bhi uss kay sath eman laney walay boht hi kum thay.
यहाँ तक कि जब हमारा हुक्म आ पहुँचा और तूफ़ान उबल पड़ा तो हमने (नूह से) कहा कि हर क़िस्म के जानवरों का एक-एक जोड़ा कश्ती में रख लो और अपने घर वालों को भी सिवाए उन लोगों के जिनके बारे में पहले कहा जा चुका है और सब ईमान वालों को भी, और थोड़े ही लोग थे जो नूह के साथ ईमान लाए थे।
And [remember, O Muhammad], when We told you, "Indeed, your Lord has encompassed the people." And We did not make the sight which We showed you except as a trial for the people, as was the accursed tree [mentioned] in the Qur'an. And We threaten them, but it increases them not except in great transgression.
Aur yaad kero jabkay hum ney aap say farma diya kay aap kay rab ney logon ko gher liya hai. Jo roya ( any royat ) hum ney aap ko dikhaee thi woh logon kay liye saaf aazmaeesh hi thi aur issi tarah woh darakht bhi jiss say quran mein izhar-e-nafrat kiya gaya hai. Hum unehn dara rahey hain lekin yeh unhen aur bari sirkashi mein barha raha hai.
और जब हमने आपसे कहा कि आपके रब ने लोगों को घेरे में ले लिया है, और वह नज़ारा जो हमने आपको दिखाया वह सिर्फ़ लोगों की जाँच के लिए था और उस दरख़्त को भी जिसकी क़ुरआन में मज़म्मत की गई है, और हम उनको डराते हैं लेकिन उनकी ज़बरदस्त सरकशी बढ़ती ही जा रही है।
And [mention] when We said to the angles, "Prostrate to Adam," and they prostrated, except for Iblees. He said, "Should I prostrate to one You created from clay?"
Aur jab hum ney farishton ko hukum diya kay adam ko sajda kero to iblees kay siwa sab ney kiya uss ney kaha kiya mein ussay sajda keroon jissay tu ney mitti say peda kiya hai.
और जब हमने फ़रिश्तों से कहा कि आदम (अलै॰) को सज्दा करो तो उन्होंने सज्दा किया मगर इबलीस ने नहीं किया, उसने कहाः क्या मैं ऐसे शख़्स को सज्दा करूँ जिसको तूने मिट्टी से बनाया है?
And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam," and they prostrated, except for Iblees. He was of the jinn and departed from the command of his Lord. Then will you take him and his descendants as allies other than Me while they are enemies to you? Wretched it is for the wrongdoers as an exchange.
Aur jab hum ney farishton ko hukum diya kay tum adam ko sajda kero to iblees kay siwa sab ney sajda kiya yeh jinnon mein say tha uss ney apney perwerdigar ki na-farmani ki kiya phir bhi tum ussay aur uss ki aulad ko mujhay chor ker apna dost bana rahey ho? Halankay woh tum sab ka dushman hai. Aisay zalimon ka kiya hi bura badal hai.
याद करो जब हम ने फ़रिश्तों से कहा, "आदम को सजदा करो।" तो इबलीस के सिवा सबने सजदा किया। वह जिन्नों में से था। तो उस ने अपने रब के आदेश का उल्लंघन किया। अब क्या तुम मुझसे इतर उसे और उस की सन्तान को संरक्षक मित्र बनाते हो? हालाँकि वे तुम्हारे शत्रु है। क्या ही बुरा विकल्प है, जो ज़ालिमों के हाथ आया!
Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it [as if] setting in a spring of dark mud, and he found near it a people. Allah said, "O Dhul-Qarnayn, either you punish [them] or else adopt among them [a way of] goodness."
Yahan tak kay sooraj doobney ki jagah phonch gaya aur ussay aik daldal kay chashmay mein ghuroob hota hua paya aur iss chashmay kay pass aik qom ko bhi paya hum ney farma diya kay aey zulqarnain! Ya to tu enhen takleef phonchaye ya inn kay baray mein tu koi behtareen ravish ikhtiyar keray.
यहाँ तक कि जब वह सूर्यास्त-स्थल तक पहुँचा तो उसे मटमैले काले पानी के एक स्रोत में डूबते हुए पाया और उस के निकट उसे एक क़ौम मिली। हम ने कहा, "ऐ ज़ुलक़रनैन! तुझे अधिकार है कि चाहे तकलीफ़ पहुँचाए और चाहे उन के साथ अच्छा व्यवहार करे।"
Allah said, "Fear not. Indeed, it is you who are superior.
Hum ney farmay kuch khof na ker yaqeena tu hi ghalib aur bartar rahey ga.
हम ने कहा, "मत डर! निस्संदेह तू ही प्रभावी रहेगा।
And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam," and they prostrated, except Iblees; he refused.
Aur jab hum ney farishton say kaha kay adam ( alh-e-salam ) ko sajjda kero to iblees kay siwa sab ney kiya uss ney saaf inkar ker diya.
और जब हम ने फ़रिश्तों से कहा, "आदम को सजदा करो।" तो उन्होंने सजदा किया सिवाय इबलीस के, वह इनकार कर बैठा
Allah said, "O fire, be coolness and safety upon Abraham."
Hum ney farma diya aey aag! Tu thandi parr jaa aur ibrahim ( alh-e-salam ) kay liye salamti ( aur aaram ki cheez ) bann jaa!
हम ने कहा, "ऐ आग! ठंड़ी हो जा और सलामती बन जा इबराहीम पर!"
