اور جب ہم لوگوں کو اس امر کے بعد کہ ان پر کوئی مصیبت پڑ چکی ہو کسی نعمت کا مزہ چکھا دیتے ہیں تو وہ تو فوراً ہی ہماری آیتوں کے بارے میں چالیں چلنے لگتے ہیں آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ اللہ چال چلنے میں تم سے زیادہ تیز ہے بالیقین ہمارے فرشتے تمہاری سب چالوں کو لکھ رہے ہیں ۔

And when We give the people a taste of mercy after adversity has touched them, at once they conspire against Our verses. Say, " Allah is swifter in strategy." Indeed, Our messengers record that which you conspire

اچھا تم سب ملکر میرے خلاف چالیں چل لو اور مجھے بالکل مہلت بھی نہ دو ۔

Other than Him. So plot against me all together; then do not give me respite.

ابو لہب کے دونوں ہاتھ ٹوٹ گئے اور وہ ( خود ) ہلاک ہوگیا ۔

May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he.

۔ ( یوسف علیہ السلام نے کہا ) یہ اس واسطے کہ ( عزیز ) جان لے کہ میں نے اس کی پیٹھ پیچھے اس کی خیانت نہیں کی اور یہ بھی کہ الله دغابازوں کے ہتھکنڈے چلنے نہیں دیتا ۔

That is so al-'Azeez will know that I did not betray him in [his] absence and that Allah does not guide the plan of betrayers.

آیا وہ اللہ جو نگہبانی کرنے والا ہے ہر شخص کی اس کے کئے ہوئے اعمال پر ان لوگوں نے اللہ کے شریک ٹھرائے ہیں کہہ دیجئے ذرا ان کے نام تو لو ، کیا تم اللہ کو وہ باتیں بتاتے ہو جو وہ زمین میں جانتا ہی نہیں یا صرف اوپری اوپری باتیں بتا رہے ہو بات اصل یہ ہے کہ کفر کرنے والوں کے لئے ان کے مکر سجا دیئے گئے ہیں اور وہ صیح راہ سے روک دے گئے ہیں اور جس کو اللہ گمراہ کر دے اس کو راہ دکھانے والا کوئی نہیں ۔

Then is He who is a maintainer of every soul, [knowing] what it has earned, [like any other]? But to Allah they have attributed partners. Say, "Name them. Or do you inform Him of that which He knows not upon the earth or of what is apparent of speech?" Rather, their [own] plan has been made attractive to those who disbelieve, and they have been averted from the way. And whomever Allah leaves astray - there will be for him no guide.

یہ اپنی اپنی چالیں چل رہے ہیں اور اللہ کو ان کی تمام چالوں کا علم ہے اور ان کی چالیں ایسی نہ تھیں کہ ان سے پہاڑ اپنی جگہ سے ٹل جائیں ۔

And they had planned their plan, but with Allah is [recorded] their plan, even if their plan had been [sufficient] to do away with the mountains.

آپ صبر کریں بغیر توفیق الٰہی کے آپ صبر کر ہی نہیں سکتے اور ان کے حال پر رنجیدہ نہ ہوں اور جو مکرو فریب یہ کرتے رہتے ہیں ان سے تنگ دل نہ ہوں ۔

And be patient, [O Muhammad], and your patience is not but through Allah . And do not grieve over them and do not be in distress over what they conspire.

ا ور اس چیز کے پیچھے لگ گئے جسے شیاطین ( حضرت ) سلیمان کی حکومت میں پڑھتے تھے ۔ سلیمان نے تو کفر نہ کیا تھا ، بلکہ یہ کفر شیطانوں کا تھا ، وہ لوگوں کو جادو سکھایا کرتے تھے اور بابل میں ہاروت ماروت دو فرشتوں پر جو اتارا گیا تھا وہ دونوں بھی کسی شخص کو اس وقت تک نہیں سکھاتے تھے جب تک یہ نہ کہہ دیں کہ ہم تو ایک آزمائش ہیں تو کفر نہ کر پھر لوگ ان سے وہ سیکھتے جس سے خاوند و بیوی میں جدائی ڈال دیں اور دراصل وہ بغیر اللہ تعالٰی کی مرضی کے کسی کو کوئی نقصان نہیں پہنچا سکتے یہ لوگ وہ سیکھتے ہیں جو انہیں نقصان پہنچائے اور نفع نہ پہنچا سکے ، اور وہ با یقین جانتے ہیں کہ اس کے لینے والے کا آخرت میں کوئی حصہ نہیں ۔ اور وہ بدترین چیز ہے جس کے بدلے وہ اپنے آپ کو فروخت کر رہے ہیں ، کاش کہ یہ جانتے ہوتے ۔

And they followed [instead] what the devils had recited during the reign of Solomon. It was not Solomon who disbelieved, but the devils disbelieved, teaching people magic and that which was revealed to the two angels at Babylon, Harut and Marut. But the two angels do not teach anyone unless they say, "We are a trial, so do not disbelieve [by practicing magic]." And [yet] they learn from them that by which they cause separation between a man and his wife. But they do not harm anyone through it except by permission of Allah . And the people learn what harms them and does not benefit them. But the Children of Israel certainly knew that whoever purchased the magic would not have in the Hereafter any share. And wretched is that for which they sold themselves, if they only knew.

۔ ( اب ) دیکھ لے ان کے مکر کا انجام کیسا کچھ ہو ا ؟ کہ ہم نے ان کو اور ان کی قوم کو سب کو غارت کردیا ۔

Then look how was the outcome of their plan - that We destroyed them and their people, all.

اس اللہ کے لئے تمام تعریفیں سزاوار ہیں جو ( ابتداء ) آسمانوں اور زمین کا پیدا کرنے والا اور دو دو تین تین چار چار پروں والے فرشتوں کو اپنا پیغمبر ( قاصد ) بنانے والا ہے مخلوق میں جو چاہے زیادتی کرتا ہے اللہ تعالٰی یقیناً ہرچیز پر قادر ہے ۔

[All] praise is [due] to Allah , Creator of the heavens and the earth, [who] made the angels messengers having wings, two or three or four. He increases in creation what He wills. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.

پس جب ان کے پاس ( موسیٰ علیہ السلام ) ہماری طرف سے ( دین ) حق کو لے کر آئے تو انہوں نے کہا کہ اس کے ساتھ جو ایمان والے ہیں ان کے لڑکوں کو تو مار ڈالو اور ان کی لڑکیوں کو زندہ رکھو اور کافروں کی جو حیلہ سازی ہے وہ غلطی میں ہی ہے ۔

And when he brought them the truth from Us, they said, "Kill the sons of those who have believed with him and keep their women alive." But the plan of the disbelievers is not except in error.

جس دن انہیں ان کا مکر کچھ کام نہ دے گا اور نہ وہ مدد کئے جائیں گے ۔

The Day their plan will not avail them at all, nor will they be helped.

اور اسی طرح ہم نے ہر بستی میں وہاں کے رئیسوں ہی کو جرائم کا مرتکب بنایا تاکہ وہ لوگ وہاں فریب کریں اور وہ لوگ اپنے ہی ساتھ فریب کر رہے ہیں اور ان کو ذرا خبر نہیں ۔

And thus We have placed within every city the greatest of its criminals to conspire therein. But they conspire not except against themselves, and they perceive [it] not.

اور ان لوگوں نے بڑا سخت فریب کیا ۔

And they conspired an immense conspiracy.
