اور اللہ پر سیدھی راہ کا بتا دینا ہے اور بعض ٹیڑھی راہیں ہیں ، اور اگر وہ چاہتا تو تم سب کو راہ راست پر لگا دیتا ۔

And upon Allah is the direction of the [right] way, and among the various paths are those deviating. And if He willed, He could have guided you all.

اور اللہ تعالٰی کی یاد ان گنتی کے چند دنوں ( ایام تشریق ) میں کرو ، دو دن کی جلدی کرنے والے پر بھی کوئی گناہ نہیں اور جو پیچھے رہ جائے اس پر بھی کوئی گناہ نہیں یہ پرہیزگار کے لئے ہے اور اللہ تعالٰی سے ڈرتے رہو اور جان رکھو کہ تم سب اُسی کی طرف جمع کئے جاؤ گے ۔

And remember Allah during [specific] numbered days. Then whoever hastens [his departure] in two days - there is no sin upon him; and whoever delays [until the third] - there is no sin upon him - for him who fears Allah . And fear Allah and know that unto Him you will be gathered.

اسی طرح ہم نے تجھ پر عربی قرآن نازل فرمایا ہے اور طرح طرح سے اس میں ڈر کا بیان سنایا ہے تاکہ لوگ پرہیزگار بن جائیں یا ان کے دل میں سوچ سمجھ تو پیدا کرے ۔

And thus We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur'an and have diversified therein the warnings that perhaps they will avoid [sin] or it would cause them remembrance.

اے ایمان والو! رکوع سجدہ کرتے رہو اور اپنے پروردگار کی عبادت میں لگے رہو اور نیک کام کرتے رہو تاکہ تم کامیاب ہو جاؤ ۔

O you who have believed, bow and prostrate and worship your Lord and do good - that you may succeed.

جب کہ ہم نے تمام نبیوں سے عہد لیا اور ( بالخصوص ) آپ سے اور نوح سے اور ابراہیم سے اور موسیٰ سے اور مریم کے بیٹے عیسیٰ سے ، اور ہم نے ان سے ( پکا اور ) پختہ عہد لیا ۔

And [mention, O Muhammad], when We took from the prophets their covenant and from you and from Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus, the son of Mary; and We took from them a solemn covenant.

کہ تو پوری پوری زرہیں بنا اور جوڑوں میں اندازہ رکھ تم سب نیک کام کیا کرو ( یقین مانو ) کہ میں تمہارے اعمال دیکھ رہا ہوں ۔

[Commanding him], "Make full coats of mail and calculate [precisely] the links, and work [all of you] righteousness. Indeed I, of what you do, am Seeing."

اے ایمان والو! اللہ تعالٰی کے شعائر کی بے حرمتی نہ کرو نہ ادب والے مہینوں کی نہ حرم میں قربان ہونے والے اور پٹے پہنائے گئے جانوروں کی جو کعبہ کو جا رہے ہوں اور نہ ان لوگوں کی جو بیت اللہ کے قصد سے اپنے رب تعالٰی کے فضل اور اس کی رضا جوئی کی نیت سے جا رہے ہوں ہاں جب تم احرام اتار ڈالو تو شکار کھیل سکتے ہو جن لوگوں نے تمہیں مسجد حرام سے روکا تھا ان کی دشمنی تمہیں اس بات پر امادہ نہ کرے کہ تم حد سے گزر جاؤ نیکی اور پرہیزگاری میں ایک دوسرے کی امداد کرتے رہو اور گناہ اورظلم زیادتی میں مدد نہ کرو اور اللہ تعالٰی سے ڈرتے رہو ، بیشک اللہ تعالٰی سخت سزا دینے والا ہے ۔

O you who have believed, do not violate the rites of Allah or [the sanctity of] the sacred month or [neglect the marking of] the sacrificial animals and garlanding [them] or [violate the safety of] those coming to the Sacred House seeking bounty from their Lord and [His] approval. But when you come out of ihram, then [you may] hunt. And do not let the hatred of a people for having obstructed you from al-Masjid al-Haram lead you to transgress. And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.

اور یہ ایک کتاب ہے جس کو ہم نے بھیجا بڑی خیرو برکت والی ، سو اس کا اتباع کرو اور ڈرو تاکہ تم پر رحمت ہو ۔

And this [Qur'an] is a Book We have revealed [which is] blessed, so follow it and fear Allah that you may receive mercy.

پس جہاں تک تم سے ہو سکے اللہ سے ڈرتے رہو اور سنتے اور مانتے چلے جاؤ اور اللہ کی راہ میں خیرات کرتے رہو جو تمہارے لئے بہتر ہے اورجو شخص اپنے نفس کی حرص سے محفوظ رکھا جائے وہی کامیاب ہے ۔

So fear Allah as much as you are able and listen and obey and spend [in the way of Allah ]; it is better for your selves. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - it is those who will be the successful.

اے نبی! ( اپنی امت سے کہو کہ ) جب تم اپنی بیویوں کو طلاق دینا چاہو تو ان کی عدت ( کے دنوں کے آغاز ) میں انہیں طلاق دو اور عدت کا حساب رکھو ، اور اللہ سے جو تمہارا پروردگار ہے ڈرتے رہو نہ تم انہیں ان کے گھر سے نکالو اور نہ وہ ( خود ) نکلیں ہاں یہ اور بات ہے کہ وہ کھلی برائی کر بیٹھیں یہ اللہ کی مقرر کردہ حدیں ہیں جو شخص اللہ کی حدوں سے آگے بڑھ جائے اس نے یقیناً اپنے اوپر ظلم کیا تم نہیں جانتے شاید اس کے بعد اللہ تعالٰی کوئی نئی بات پیدا کردے ۔

O Prophet, when you [Muslims] divorce women, divorce them for [the commencement of] their waiting period and keep count of the waiting period, and fear Allah , your Lord. Do not turn them out of their [husbands'] houses, nor should they [themselves] leave [during that period] unless they are committing a clear immorality. And those are the limits [set by] Allah . And whoever transgresses the limits of Allah has certainly wronged himself. You know not; perhaps Allah will bring about after that a [different] matter.

اور ہم نے قوم عاد کی طرف ان کے بھائی ہود ( علیہ السلام ) کو بھیجا ۔ انہوں نے فرمایا اے میری قوم! تم اللہ کی عبادت کرو اس کے سوا کوئی تمہارا معبود نہیں سو کیا تم نہیں ڈرتے ۔

And to the 'Aad [We sent] their brother Hud. He said, "O my people, worship Allah ; you have no deity other than Him. Then will you not fear Him?"

یہ لوگ آپ سے غنیمتوں کا حکم دریافت کرتے ہیں ، آپ فرما دیجئے! کہ یہ غنیمتیں اللہ کی ہیں اور رسول کی ہیں سو تم اللہ سے ڈرو اور اپنے باہمی تعلقات کی اصلاح کرو اور اللہ تعالٰی اور اس کے رسول کی اطاعت کرو اگر تم ایمان والے ہو ۔

They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the bounties [of war]. Say, "The [decision concerning] bounties is for Allah and the Messenger." So fear Allah and amend that which is between you and obey Allah and His Messenger, if you should be believers.
