The ones whom the angels take in death [while] wronging themselves, and [who] then offer submission, [saying], "We were not doing any evil." But, yes! Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what you used to do.
Woh jo apni jano per zulm kertay hain farishtay jab unn ki jaan qabz kerney lagatay hain uss waqt woh jhuk jatay hain kay hum buraee nahi kertay thay. Kiyon nahi? Allah Taalaa khoob jannay wala hai jo kuch tum kertay thay.
वे जो अपनी जानों पर ज़ुल्म करते हैं फ़रिश्ते जब उनकी जान क़ब्ज़ करने लगते हैं उस वक़्त वे झुक जाते हैं कि हम बुराई नहीं करते थे, क्यों नहीं! अल्लाह तआला ख़ूब जानने वाला है जो कुछ तुम करते थे।
And We send down of the Qur'an that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss.
Yeh quran jo hum nazil ker rahey hain momino kay liye to sirasir shifa aur rehmat hai. Haan zalimon kay ba-juz nuksan kay aur koi ziyadti nahi hoti.
हम क़ुरआन में से जो उतारते हैं वह मोमिनों के लिए शिफ़ा (आरोग्य) और दयालुता है, किन्तु ज़ालिमों के लिए तो वह बस घाटे ही में अभिवृद्धि करता है
And he entered his garden while he was unjust to himself. He said, "I do not think that this will perish - ever.
Aur yeh apney baagh mein gaya aur tha apni jaan per zulm kerney wala. Kehney laga kay mein khayal nahi ker sakta kay kissi waqt bhi yeh barbaad hojaye.
वह अपने हक़ में ज़ालिम बनकर बाग़ में प्रविष्ट हुआ। कहने लगा, "मैं ऐसा नहीं समझता कि वह कभी विनष्ट होगा
But those who wronged changed [those words] to a statement other than that which had been said to them, so We sent down upon those who wronged a punishment from the sky because they were defiantly disobeying.
Phir unn zalimon ney uss baat ko jo unn say kahi gaee thi badal daali hum ney bhi unn zalimon per unn kay fisq-o-nafarmani ki waja say aasmani azab nazil kiya.
मगर हुआ यूँ कि उनसे जो बात कही गई थी ज़ालिमों ने उसे तबदील करके कुछ और बात बना ली, नतीजा यह हुआ कि जो नाफ़रमानियाँ वे करते आ रहे थे हमने उनकी सज़ा में उन ज़ालिमों पर आसमान से अज़ाब नाज़िल किया।
And for how many a city did I prolong enjoyment while it was committing wrong. Then I seized it, and to Me is the [final] destination.
Boht si zulm kerney wali bastiyon ko mein ney dheel di phir aakhir unhen pakar liya aur meri hi taraf lot ker aana hai.
कितनी ही बस्तियाँ हैं जिन को मैंने मुहलत दी इस दशा में कि वे ज़ालिम थीं। फिर मैंने उन्हें पकड़ लिया और अन्ततः आना तो मेरी ही ओर है
So those are their houses, desolate because of the wrong they had done. Indeed in that is a sign for people who know.
Yeh hain unn kay makanaat jo unn kay zulm ki waja say ujray paray hain jo log ilm rakhtay hain unn kay liye iss mein bari nishani hai.
अब ये उन के घर उन के ज़ुल्म के कारण उजडें पड़े हुए हैं। निश्चय ही इसमें एक बड़ी निशानी है उन लोगों के लिए जो जानना चाहें
And We certainly sent Noah to his people, and he remained among them a thousand years minus fifty years, and the flood seized them while they were wrongdoers.
Aur hum ney nooh ( alh-e-salam ) ko unn ki qom ki taraf bheja woh unn mein sarhay no so saal tak rahey phir to unhen toofan ney dhar pakra aur woh thay bhi zalim.
हम ने नूह को उस की क़ौम की ओर भेजा। और वह पचास साल कम एक हजार वर्ष उन के बीच रहा। अन्ततः उन को तूफ़ान ने इस दशा में आ पकड़ा कि वे अत्याचारी था
The People of the Scripture ask you to bring down to them a book from the heaven. But they had asked of Moses [even] greater than that and said, "Show us Allah outright," so the thunderbolt struck them for their wrongdoing. Then they took the calf [for worship] after clear evidences had come to them, and We pardoned that. And We gave Moses a clear authority.
Aap say yeh ehal-e-kitab darkhuast kertay hain kay aap inn kay pass koi aasmani kitab layen hazrat musa ( alh-e-salam ) say to enhon ney iss say boht bari darkhuast ki thi kay humen khullam khula Allah Taalaa ko dikha dey pus inn kay iss zulm kay baees inn per karakay ki bijli aa pari phir bawajood yeh kay inn kay pass boht daleel phonch chuki thi enhon ney bachray ko apna mabood bana liya lekin hum ney yeh bhi moaf farma diya aur hum ney musa ko khula ghalba ( aur sareeh daleel ) inayat farmaee.
अहले-किताब आपसे मुतालबा करते हैं कि आप उन पर आसमान से एक किताब उतार लाएं, पस मूसा (अलै॰) से वे इससे भी बड़ी चीज़ का मुतालबा कर चुके हैं जबकि उन्होंने कहा कि हमें अल्लाह को बिल्कुल सामने दिखा दो, पस उनकी ज़्यादती के सबब उन पर बिजली आ पड़ी, फिर खुली निशानियाँ आ जाने के बाद उन्होंने बछड़े को माबूद बना लिया, फिर हमने उससे दरगुज़र किया, और मूसा (अलै॰) को हमने खुली हुज्जत अता की।
And know that among you is the Messenger of Allah . If he were to obey you in much of the matter, you would be in difficulty, but Allah has endeared to you the faith and has made it pleasing in your hearts and has made hateful to you disbelief, defiance and disobedience. Those are the [rightly] guided.
Aur jaan rakho kay tum mein Allah kay rasool mojood hain agar woh tumhara kaha kertay rahey boht umoor mein, to tum mushkil mein par jao lekin Allah Taalaa ney eman ko tumharay liye mehboob bana diya hai aur issay tumharay dilon mein zeenat dey rakhi hai aur kufur ko aur gunah ko aur nafarmaani ko tumhari nighaon mein napasandeedah bana diya hai, yehi log raah yaafta hain.
जान लो कि तुम्हारे बीच अल्लाह का रसूल मौजूद है। बहुत-से मामलों में यदि वह तुम्हारी बात मान ले तो तुम कठिनाई में पड़ जाओ। किन्तु अल्लाह ने तुम्हारे लिए ईमान को प्रिय बना दिया और उसे तुम्हारे दिलों में सुन्दरता दे दी और इनकार, उल्लंघन और अवज्ञा को तुम्हारे लिए बहुत अप्रिय बना दिया।
But those who deny Our verses - the punishment will touch them for their defiant disobedience.
Aur jo log humari aayaton ko jhoota batlayen unn ko azab phonchay ga ba-waja iss kay, kay woh na farmani kertay hain.
और जिन्होंने हमारी निशानियों को झुठलाया तो उनको अज़ाब पकड़ लेगा इस वजह से कि वे नाफ़रमानी करते थे।
But those who wronged among them changed [the words] to a statement other than that which had been said to them. So We sent upon them a punishment from the sky for the wrong that they were doing.
So badal daala inn zalimon ney aik aur kalma jo khilaf tha uss kalmay kay jiss ki inn say farmaeesh ki gaee thi iss per hum ney unn per aik aafat-e-samawi bheji iss waja say kay woh hukum ko zaya kertay thay.
फिर उनमें से ज़ालिमों ने बदल डाला दूसरा लफ़्ज़ उसके सिवा जो उनसे कहा गया था, फिर हमने उन पर आसमान से अज़ाब भेजा इसलिए कि वे ज़ुल्म करते थे।
And do not pray [the funeral prayer, O Muhammad], over any of them who has died - ever - or stand at his grave. Indeed, they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger and died while they were defiantly disobedient.
Inn mein say koi marr jaye to aap uss kay janazay ki hergiz namaz na parhen aur na uss ki qabar per kharay hon. Yeh Allah aur uss kay rasool kay munkir hain aur martay dum tak bad kaar bey ita’at rahen hain.
और उनमें से जो कोई मर जाए उस पर आप कभी नमाज़ न पढ़ें और न उसकी क़ब्र पर खड़े रहें, बेशक उन्होंने अल्लाह और उसके रसूल का इनकार किया और वे इस हाल में मरे कि वे नाफ़रमान थे।
