He said, "O my people, have you considered: if I am upon clear evidence from my Lord and He has provided me with a good provision from Him... ? And I do not intend to differ from you in that which I have forbidden you; I only intend reform as much as I am able. And my success is not but through Allah . Upon him I have relied, and to Him I return.
Kaha aey meri qom! Dekho to agar mein apney rab ki taraf say roshan daleel liye huye hon aur uss ney mujhay apney pass say behtareen rozi dey rakhi hai mera yeh irada bilkul nahi kay tumhara khilaf ker kay khud uss cheez ki taraf jhuk jaon jiss say tmhen rok raha hun meri irada to apni taqat bhar islaah kerney ka hi hai. Meri tofiq Allah hi ki madad say hai ussi per mera bharosa hai aur ussi ki taraf mein rujoo kerta hun.
शुऐब (अलै॰) ने कहा कि ऐ मेरी क़ौम! बताओ अगर मैं अपने रब की तरफ़ से एक वाज़ेह दलील पर हूँ और उसने अपनी जानिब से मुझको अच्छा रिज़्क भी दिया, और मैं नहीं चाहता कि मैं ख़ुद वही काम करूँ जिससे मैं तुमको रोक रहा हूँ, मैं तो सिर्फ़ इस्लाह चाहता हूँ जहाँ तक हो सके, और मुझे तौफ़ीक़ तो अल्लाह ही से मिलेगी, उसी पर मैंने भरोसा किया है और उसी की तरफ़ मैं रुजूअ़ करता हूँ।
And He has subjected for you the night and day and the sun and moon, and the stars are subjected by His command. Indeed in that are signs for a people who reason.
Ussi ney raat din aur sooraj chand ko tumharay liye tabey ker diya hai aur sitaray bhi ussi kay hukum kay matehat hain. Yaqeenan iss mein aqal mand logon kay liye kaee aik nishaniyan mojood hain.
और उसने तुम्हारे काम में लगा दिया रात को और दिन को और सूरज और चाँद को, और सितारे भी उसके हुक्म के ताबे हैं, बेशक इसमें निशानियाँ हैं अक़्लमंद लोगों के लिए।
Our Lord, and make us Muslims [in submission] to You and from our descendants a Muslim nation [in submission] to You. And show us our rites and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.
Aey humaray rab! Humen apne farmanbardar bana ley aur humari aulad mein say bhi aik jamat ko apni ita’at guzaar rakh aur humen apni ibadaten sikha aur humari tauba qabool farma tu tauba qabool farmaney wala aur reham-o-karam kerney wala hai.
ऐ हमारे रब! हमको अपना फ़रमाँबरदार बना, और हमारी नस्ल में से अपनी एक फ़रमाँबरदार उम्मत उठा, और हमको हमारे इबादत के तरीक़े बता, और हमको माफ़ फ़रमा, तू ही माफ़ करने वाला रहम करने वाला है।
And for all religion We have appointed a rite [of sacrifice] that they may mention the name of Allah over what He has provided for them of [sacrificial] animals. For your god is one God, so to Him submit. And, [O Muhammad], give good tidings to the humble [before their Lord]
Aur her ummat kay liye hum ney qurbani kay tareeqay muqarrar farmaye hain takay woh inn chopaye janwaron per Allah ka naam len jo Allah ney unhen dey rakhay hain. Samajh lo kay tum sab ka mabood-e-bar haq sirf aik hi hai tum ussi kay tabey farmaan ho jao aajzi kerney walon ko khuskhabri suna dijiye!
और प्रत्येक समुदाय के लिए हम ने क़ुरबानी का विधान किया, ताकि वे उन जानवरों अर्थात मवेशियों पर अल्लाह का नाम लें, जो उस ने उन्हें प्रदान किए हैं। अतः तुम्हारा पूज्य-प्रभु अकेला पूज्य-प्रभु है। तो उसी के आज्ञाकारी बनकर रहो और विनम्रता अपनाने वालों को शुभ सूचना दे दो
Be not haughty with me but come to me in submission [as Muslims].' "
Yeh kay tum meray samney sirkashi na kero aur musalman bann ker meray pass aajao.
यह कि मेरे मुक़ाबले में सरकशी न करो और आज्ञाकारी बनकर मेरे पास आओ।"
And do not argue with the People of the Scripture except in a way that is best, except for those who commit injustice among them, and say, "We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you. And our God and your God is one; and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him."
Aur ehal-kitab kay sath behas-o-mubahisa na kero magar iss tareeqay per jo umdah ho magar unn kay sath jo unn mein zalim hain aur saaf aeylaan kerdo kay humara to iss kitab per bhi eman hai jo hum per utari gaee hai aur iss per bhi jo tum per utari gaee hai humara tumhara mabood aik hi hai. Hum sab ussi kay hukum bardaar hain.
और किताब वालों से बस उत्तम रीति ही से वाद-विवाद करो - रहे वे लोग जो उन में ज़ालिम हैं, उन की बात दूसरी है - और कहो - "हम ईमान लाए उस चीज़ पर जो अवतरित हुई और तुम्हारी ओर भी अवतरित हुई। और हमारा पूज्य और तुम्हारा पूज्य अकेला ही है और हम उसी के आज्ञाकारी हैं।"
Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence.
Allah Taalaa woh hai jiss kay siwa koi mabood nahi jo zinda aur sab ka nigehban hai.
अल्लाह वह है कि उसके सिवा कोई माबूद नहीं, ज़िंदा और सब का थामने वाला है।
And whoever submits his face to Allah while he is a doer of good - then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold. And to Allah will be the outcome of [all] matters.
Aur jo ( shaks ) apnay aap ko Allah kay tabey ker dey aur ho bhi woh neko kaar yaqeenan uss ney mazboot kara thaam liya tamam kaamo ka anjam Allah ki taraf hai.
जो कोई आज्ञाकारिता के साथ अपना रुख़ अल्लाह की ओर करे, और वह उत्तमकर भी हो तो उस ने मज़बूत सहारा थाम लिया। सारे मामलों की परिणति अल्लाह ही की ओर है
Say, "I only advise you of one [thing] - that you stand for Allah , [seeking truth] in pairs and individually, and then give thought." There is not in your companion any madness. He is only a warner to you before a severe punishment.
Keh dijiye! kay mein tumhen sirf aik hi baat ki naseehat kerta hun kay tum Allah kay wastay ( zidd chor ker ) do do mill ker ya tanha kharay hoker socho to sahi tumharay iss rafiq ko koi janoon nahi woh to tumhen aik baray ( sakht ) azab kay aaney say pehlay daraney wala hai.
कहो, "मैं तुम्हें बस एक बात की नसीहत करता हूँ कि अल्लाह के लिए दो-दो और एक-एक करके उठ ख़डे हो; फिर विचार करो। तुम्हारे साथी को कोई उन्माद नहीं है। वह तो एक कठोर यातना से पहले तुम्हें सचेत करने वाला ही है।"
[David] said, "He has certainly wronged you in demanding your ewe [in addition] to his ewes. And indeed, many associates oppress one another, except for those who believe and do righteous deeds - and few are they." And David became certain that We had tried him, and he asked forgiveness of his Lord and fell down bowing [in prostration] and turned in repentance [to Allah ].
Aap ney farmaya! Iss ka apni dunbiyon kay sath teri aik dunbi mila lenay ka sawal be-shak teray upper aik zulm hai aur aksar hissay daar aur shareek ( aisay hi hotay hain kay ) aik doosray per zulm kertay hain siwaye unn kay jo eman laye aur jinhon ney nek amal kiyey aur aisay log boht hi kum hain aur ( hazrat ) dawwod ( alh-e-salam ) samajh gaye kay hum ney unhen aazmaya hai phir to apnay rab say istaghfaar kerney lagay aur aajzi kertay huyey gir paray aur ( poori tarah ) rujoo kiya.
उस ने कहा, "इस ने अपनी दुंबियों के साथ तेरी दुंबी को मिला लेने की माँग करके निश्चय ही तुझ पर ज़ुल्म किया है। और निस्संदेह बहुत-से साथ मिलकर रहने वाले एक-दूसरे पर ज़्यादती करते हैं, सिवाय उन लोगों के जो ईमान लाए और उन्होंने अच्छे कर्म किए। किन्तु ऐसे लोग थोड़े ही हैं।" अब दाऊद समझ गया कि यह तो हम ने उसे परीक्षा में डाला है। अतः उस ने अपने रब से क्षमा-याचना की और झुककर (सीधे सजदे में) गिर पड़ा और रुजू हुआ
Who feared the Most Merciful unseen and came with a heart returning [in repentance].
Jo rehman ka ghaeebana khof rakhta ho aur tawajja wala dil laya ho.
"जो रहमान से डरा परोक्ष में और आया रुजू रहने वाला हृदय लेकर -
And We found not within them other than a [single] house of Muslims.
Aur hum ney wahan musalmanon ka sirf aik hi ghar paya.
किन्तु हम ने वहाँ एक घर के अतिरिक्त मुसलमानों (आज्ञाकारियों) का और कोई घर न पाया
Say, "Is it other than Allah I should take as a protector, Creator of the heavens and the earth, while it is He who feeds and is not fed?" Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, I have been commanded to be the first [among you] who submit [to Allah ] and [was commanded], 'Do not ever be of the polytheists.' "
Aap kahiye kay kiya Allah kay siwa jo kay aasmanon aur zamin ka peda kerney wala hai aur jo kay khaney ko deta hai aur uss ko koi khaney ko nahi deta aur kissi ko mabood qarar doon aap farma dijiye kay mujh ko yeh hukum hua hai kay sab say pehlay mein islam qabool keroon aur tu mushrikeen mein say hergiz na hona.
कह दीजिए कि क्या में अल्लाह के सिवा किसी और को मददगार बनाऊँ जो बनाने वाला है आसमानों का और ज़मीन का और वह सबको खिलाता है और उसको नहीं खिलाया जा सकता, कहिए कि मुझको हुक्म मिला है कि मैं सबसे पहले इस्लाम लाने वाला बनूँ और तुम हरगिज़ मुशरिकों में से न बनो।
Then will We treat the Muslims like the criminals?
Kiya hum musalmanon ko misil gunehgaaron kay kerdengay.
तो क्या हम मुस्लिमों (आज्ञाकारियों) को अपराधियों जैसा कर देंगे?
And you do not resent us except because we believed in the signs of our Lord when they came to us. Our Lord, pour upon us patience and let us die as Muslims [in submission to You]."
Aur tu ney hum mein konsa aib dekha hai ba-juz isskay kay hum apney rab per eman ley aaye jab woh humaray pass aaye. Aey humaray rab! Humaray upper sabar ka faizan farma aur humari jaan halat-e-islam per nikal.
तुम हमको सिर्फ़ इस बात की सज़ा देना चाहते हो कि हमारे रब की निशानियाँ जब हमारे सामने आ गईं तो हम उन पर ईमान ले आए, ऐ हमारे रब! हम पर सब्र उंडेल दीजिए और हमको इस्लाम पर वफ़ात दीजिए।
