And He taught Adam the names - all of them. Then He showed them to the angels and said, "Inform Me of the names of these, if you are truthful."
Aur Allah Taalaa ney aadam ko tamam naam sikha ker unn cheezon ko farishton kay samney paish kiya aur farmaya agar tum sachay ho to inn cheezon kay naam batao.
और अल्लाह ने सिखा दिए आदम को सारे नाम फिर उनको फ़रिश्तों के सामने पेश किया और कहा कि अगर तुम सच्चे हो तो मुझे इन चीज़ों के नाम बताओ।
Indeed, Allah chose Adam and Noah and the family of Abraham and the family of 'Imran over the worlds -
Be-shak Allah Taalaa ney tamam jahaan kay logon mein say aadam ( alh-e-salam ) ko aur nooh ( alh-e-salam ) ko aur ibrahim ( alh-e-salam ) kay khandan aur imran kay khandanon ko muntakhib farma liya.
बेशक अल्लाह ने आदम (अलै॰) को और नूह (अलै॰) को और आले-इब्राहीम और आले-इमरान (अलैहिमुस्सलाम) को पूरी दुनिया के ऊपर मुंतख़ब कर लिया है।
Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created Him from dust; then He said to him, "Be," and he was.
Allah Taalaa kay nazdeek essa ( alh-e-salam ) ki misal hoo ba hoo aadam ( alh-e-salam ) ki misal hai jissay mitti say bana ker keh diya kay ho ja! Pus woh hogaya!.
बेशक ईसा की मिसाल अल्लाह के नज़दीक आदम की सी है, अल्लाह ने उनको मिट्टी से बनाया, फिर उनसे कहा कि हो जाओ तो वे हो गए।
And recite to them the story of Adam's two sons, in truth, when they both offered a sacrifice [to Allah ], and it was accepted from one of them but was not accepted from the other. Said [the latter], "I will surely kill you." Said [the former], "Indeed, Allah only accepts from the righteous [who fear Him].
Aadam ( alh-e-salam ) kay dono beton ka khara khara haal bhi enhen suna do unn dono ney aik nazrana paish kiya inn mein say aik ki nazar qabool hogaee aur doosray ki maqbool na hui to woh kehney laga mein tujhay maar hi daalon ga uss ney kaha Allah Taalaa taqwa walon ka hi amal qabool kerta hai.
और उनको आदम (अलै॰) के दोनों बेटों का क़िस्सा हक़ के साथ सुनाइए, जबकि उन दोनों ने क़ुर्बानी पेश की तो उनमें से एक की क़ुर्बानी क़बूल हुई और दूसरे की क़ुर्बानी क़बूल न हुई, उसने कहाः मैं तुझको मार डालूँगा, उसने जवाब दिया कि अल्लाह तो सिर्फ़ परहेज़गारों ही से क़बूल करता है।
O children of Adam, We have bestowed upon you clothing to conceal your private parts and as adornment. But the clothing of righteousness - that is best. That is from the signs of Allah that perhaps they will remember.
Aey aadam ( alh-e-salam ) ki aulad hum ney tumharay liye libas peda kiya jo tumhari sharamgahon ko bhi chupata hai aur mojib-e-zeenat bhi hai aur taqway ka libas yeh iss say barh ker hai. Yeh Allah Taalaa ki nishaniyon mein say hai takay yeh log yaad rakhen.
ऐ आदम की औलाद! हमने तुम पर लिबास उतारा जो तुम्हारी शर्मगाहों को ढाँके और ज़ीनत भी, और तक़वे का लिबास उससे भी बेहतर है, यह अल्लाह की निशानियों में से है ताकि लोग ग़ौर करें।
O children of Adam, let not Satan tempt you as he removed your parents from Paradise, stripping them of their clothing to show them their private parts. Indeed, he sees you, he and his tribe, from where you do not see them. Indeed, We have made the devils allies to those who do not believe.
Aey aulad-e-aadam! Shetan tum ko kissi kharabi mein na daal dey jaisa kay uss ney tumharay maa baap ko jannat say bahir kera diya aisi halat mein unn ka libas bhi utarwa diya takay woh inn ko inn ki sharamgahen dikhaye. Woh aur uss ka lashkar tum ko aisay tor per dekhta hai kay tum unn ko nahi dekhta ho. Hum ney shetanon ko unn hi logon ka dost banaya hai jo eman nahi latay.
ऐ आदम की औलाद! शैतान तुमको बहका न दे जिस तरह उसने तुम्हारे माँ-बाप को जन्नत से निकलवा दिया, उसने उनके लिबास उतरवाए ताकि उनको उनके सामने बे-पर्दा कर दे, वह और उसके साथी तुमको ऐसी जगह से देखते हैं जहाँ से तुम उन्हें नहीं देखते, हमने शैतानों को उन लोगों का दोस्त बना दिया है जो ईमान नहीं लाते।
O children of Adam, take your adornment at every masjid, and eat and drink, but be not excessive. Indeed, He likes not those who commit excess.
Aey aulad-e-aadam! Tum masjid ki her hazri kay waqt apna libas pehan liya kero. Aur khoob khao aur piyo aur hadd say mat niklo. Be-shak Allah hadd say nikal janey walon ko pasand nahi kerta.
ऐ आदम की औलाद! हर नमाज़ के वक़्त अपना लिबास पहनो और खाओ-पियो और हद से तजावुज़ न करो, बेशक अल्लाह हद से तजावुज़ करने वालों को पसंद नहीं करता।
O children of Adam, if there come to you messengers from among you relating to you My verses, then whoever fears Allah and reforms - there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.
Aey aulad-e-aadam! Agar tumharay pass payghumbar aayen jo tum hi mein say hon jo meray ehkaam tum say biyan keren to jo shaks taqwa ikhtiyar keray aur durusti keray so inn logon per na kuch andesha hai aur na woh ghumgeen hongay.
ऐ आदम की औलाद! अगर तुम्हारे पास तुम ही में से रसूल आएं जो तुमको मेरी आयात सुनाएं तो जो शख़्स डरा और जिसने इस्लाह कर ली उनके लिए न कोई ख़ौफ़ होगा और न वे ग़मगीन होंगे।
And [mention] when your Lord took from the children of Adam - from their loins - their descendants and made them testify of themselves, [saying to them], "Am I not your Lord?" They said, "Yes, we have testified." [This] - lest you should say on the day of Resurrection, "Indeed, we were of this unaware."
Aur jab aap kay rab ney aulad-e-aadam ki pusht say unn ki aulad ko nikala aur unn say unn hi kay mutalliq iqrar liya kay kiya mein tumhara rab nahi hun? Sab ney jawab diya kiyon nahi! Hum sab gawah bantay hain. Takay tum log qayamat kay roz yun na kaho kay hum to iss say mehaz bey khabar thay.
और जब आपके रब ने आदम की औलाद की पीठों से उनकी औलाद को निकाला और उनको गवाह ठहराया ख़ुद उनके ऊपर, क्या मैं तुम्हारा रब नहीं हूँ? उन्होंने कहाः हाँ क्यों नहीं! हम इक़रार करते हैं, यह इसलिए हुआ कि कहीं तुम क़यामत के दिन कहने लगो कि हमको तो इसकी ख़बर न थी।
And We have certainly honored the children of Adam and carried them on the land and sea and provided for them of the good things and preferred them over much of what We have created, with [definite] preference.
Yaqeenan hum ney aulad-e-adam ko bari izzat di aur unhen khuski aur tari ki sawariyan din aur unhen pakeeza cheezon ki roziyan din aur apni boht si makhlooq per unhen fazilat ata farmaee.
हम ने आदम की सन्तान को श्रेष्ठता प्रदान की और उन्हें थल और जल में सवारी दी और अच्छी-पाक चीज़ों की उन्हें रोज़ी दी और अपने पैदा किए हुए बहुत-से प्राणियों की अपेक्षा उन्हें श्रेष्ठता प्रदान की
Those were the ones upon whom Allah bestowed favor from among the prophets of the descendants of Adam and of those We carried [in the ship] with Noah, and of the descendants of Abraham and Israel, and of those whom We guided and chose. When the verses of the Most Merciful were recited to them, they fell in prostration and weeping.
Yehi woh anbiya hain jin per Allah Taalaa ney fazal-o-karam kiya jo aulad-e-adam mein say hain aur unn logon ki nasal say hain jinhen hum ney nooh ( alh-e-salam ) kay sath kashti mein charha liya tha aur aulad ibrahim-o-yaqoob say aur humari taraf say raaha yafta aur humaray pasandeedah logon mein say. Inn kay samney jab Allah rehman ki aayaton ki tilawat ki jati thi yeh sajda kertay aur rotay girgiratay gir partay thay.
ये वे पैग़म्बर हैं जो अल्लाह के कृपापात्र हुए, आदम की सन्तान में से और उन लोगों के वंशज में से जिन को हम ने नूह के साथ सवार किया, और इबराहीम और इसराईल के वंशज में से और उन में से जिन को हम ने सीधा मार्ग दिखाया और चुन लिया। जब उन्हें रहमान की आयतें सुनाई जातीं तो वे सजदा करते और रोते हुए गिर पड़ते थे
And We had already taken a promise from Adam before, but he forgot; and We found not in him determination.
Hum ney adam ko pehlay hi takeedy hukum dey diya tha lekin woh bhool gaya aur hum ney uss mein koi azum nahi paya.
और हम ने इस से पहले आदम से वचन लिया था, किन्तु वह भूल गया और हम ने उस में इरादे की मज़बूती न पाई
Did I not enjoin upon you, O children of Adam, that you not worship Satan - [for] indeed, he is to you a clear enemy -
Aey aulad-e-adam! Kiya mein ney tum say qol-o-qarar nahi liya tha kay tum shetan ki ibadat na kerna woh to tumhara khulla dushman hai.
क्या मैंने तुम्हें ताकीद नहीं की थी, ऐ आदम के बेटो! कि शैतान की बन्दगी न करे। वास्तव में वह तुम्हारा खुला शत्रु है
