الفاظ ( الْاَلْبَابِ )

عقلمندو! قصاص میں تمہارے لئے زندگی ہے اس باعث تم ( قتل ناحق سے ) رُکو گے

And there is for you in legal retribution [saving of] life, O you [people] of understanding, that you may become righteous.

حج کے مہینے مقرر ہیں اس لئے جو شخص ان میں حج لازم کرلے وہ اپنی بیوی سے میل ملاپ کرنے ، گناہ کرنے اور لڑائی جھگڑے کرنے سے بچتا رہے تم جو نیکی کرو گے اس سے اللہ تعالٰی باخبر ہے اور اپنے ساتھ سفر خرچ لے لیا کرو ، سب سے بہتر توشہ اللہ تعالٰی کا ڈر ہے اور اے عقلمندو! مجھ سے ڈرتے رہا کرو ۔

Hajj is [during] well-known months, so whoever has made Hajj obligatory upon himself therein [by entering the state of ihram], there is [to be for him] no sexual relations and no disobedience and no disputing during Hajj. And whatever good you do - Allah knows it. And take provisions, but indeed, the best provision is fear of Allah . And fear Me, O you of understanding.

وہ جسے چاہے حکمت اور دانائی دیتا ہے اور جو شخص حکمت اور سمجھ دیا جائے وہ بہت ساری بھلائی دیا گیا اور نصیحت صرف عقلمند ہی حاصل کرتے ہیں ۔

He gives wisdom to whom He wills, and whoever has been given wisdom has certainly been given much good. And none will remember except those of understanding.

وہی اللہ تعالٰی ہے جس نے تجھ پر کتاب اُتاری جس میں واضح مضبوط آیتیں ہیں جو اصل کتاب ہیں اور بعض متشابہ آیتیں ہیں ۔ پس جن کے دلوں میں کجی ہے وہ تو اس کی متشابہ آیتوں کے پیچھے لگ جاتے ہیں ، فتنے کی طلب اور ان کی مراد کی جستجو کے لئے ، حالانکہ ان کی حقیقی مراد کو سوائے اللہ تعالٰی کے کوئی نہیں جانتا اور پختہ ومضبوط علم والے یہی کہتے ہیں کہ ہم تو ان پر ایمان لا چکے ، یہ ہمارے رب کی طرف سے ہیں اور نصیحت تو صرف عقلمند حاصل کرتے ہیں ۔

It is He who has sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Book; in it are verses [that are] precise - they are the foundation of the Book - and others unspecific. As for those in whose hearts is deviation [from truth], they will follow that of it which is unspecific, seeking discord and seeking an interpretation [suitable to them]. And no one knows its [true] interpretation except Allah . But those firm in knowledge say, "We believe in it. All [of it] is from our Lord." And no one will be reminded except those of understanding.

آسمانوں اور زمین کی پیدائش میں اور رات دن کے ہیر پھیر میں یقیناً عقلمندوں کے لئے نشانیاں ہیں

Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding.

آپ فرما دیجئے کہ ناپاک اور پاک برابر نہیں گو آپ کو ناپاک کی کثرت بھلی لگتی ہو اللہ تعالٰی سے ڈرتے رہو اے عقلمندو! تاکہ تم کامیاب ہو ۔

Say, "Not equal are the evil and the good, although the abundance of evil might impress you." So fear Allah , O you of understanding, that you may be successful.

ان کے بیان میں عقل والوں کے لئے یقیناً نصیحت اور عبرت ہے یہ قرآن جھوٹ بنائی ہوئی بات نہیں بلکہ یہ تصدیق ہےان کتابوں کی جو اس سے پہلے کی ہیں کھول کھول کر بیان کرنے والا ہے ہرچیز کو اور ہدایت اور رحمت ہے ایمان دار لوگوں کے لئے

There was certainly in their stories a lesson for those of understanding. Never was the Qur'an a narration invented, but a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of all things and guidance and mercy for a people who believe.

کیا وہ ایک شخص جو یہ علم رکھتا ہو کہ آپ کی طرف آپ کے رب کی جانب سے جو اتارا گیا ہے وہ حق ہے ، اس شخص جیسا ہو سکتا ہے جو اندھا ہو نصیحت تو وہی قبول کرتے ہیں جو عقلمند ہوں ۔

Then is he who knows that what has been revealed to you from your Lord is the truth like one who is blind? They will only be reminded who are people of understanding -

یہ قرآن تمام لوگوں کے لئے اطلاع نامہ ہے کہ اس کے ذریعے سے وہ ہوشیار کر دیئے جائیں اور بخوبی معلوم کرلیں کہ اللہ ایک ہی معبود ہے اور تاکہ عقلمند لوگ سوچ سمجھ لیں ۔

This [Qur'an] is notification for the people that they may be warned thereby and that they may know that He is but one God and that those of understanding will be reminded.

یہ بابرکت کتاب ہے جسے ہم نے آپ کی طرف اس لئے نازل فرمایا ہے کہ لوگ اس کی آیتوں پر غور و فکر کریں اور عقلمند اس سے نصیحت حاصل کریں ۔

[This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded.

اور ہم نے اسے اس کا پورا کنبہ عطا فرمایا بلکہ اتنا ہی اور بھی اسی کے ساتھ اپنی ( خاص ) رحمت سے ، اور عقلمندوں کی نصیحت کے لئے ۔

And We granted him his family and a like [number] with them as mercy from Us and a reminder for those of understanding.

بھلا جو شخص راتوں کے اوقات سجدے اور قیام کی حالت میں ( عبادت میں ) گزار تا ہو ، آخرت سے ڈرتا ہو اور اپنے رب کی رحمت کی امید رکھتا ہو ( اور جو اس کے برعکس ہو برابر ہو سکتے ہیں ) بتاؤ تو علم والے اور بے علم کیا برابر ہیں؟ یقیناً نصیحت وہی حاصل کرتے ہیں جو عقلمند ہوں ۔ ( اپنے رب کی طرف سے )

Is one who is devoutly obedient during periods of the night, prostrating and standing [in prayer], fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord, [like one who does not]? Say, "Are those who know equal to those who do not know?" Only they will remember [who are] people of understanding.

جو بات کو کان لگا کر سنتے ہیں ۔ پھر جو بہترین بات ہو اس کی اتباع کرتے ہیں ۔ یہی ہیں جنہیں اللہ تعالٰی نے ہدایت کی ہےاور یہی عقلمند بھی ہیں ۔

Who listen to speech and follow the best of it. Those are the ones Allah has guided, and those are people of understanding.

کیا آپ نے نہیں دیکھا کہ اللہ تعالٰی آسمان سے پانی اتارتا ہے اور اسے زمین کی سوتوں میں پہنچاتا ہے پھر اسی کے ذریعہ سے مختلف قسم کی کھیتیاں اگاتا ہے پھر وہ خشک ہو جاتی ہیں اور آپ انہیں زرد رنگ میں دیکھتے ہیں پھر انہیں ریزہ ریزہ کر دیتا ہے اس میں عقلمندوں کیلئے بہت زیادہ نصیحت ہے ۔

Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky and makes it flow as springs [and rivers] in the earth; then He produces thereby crops of varying colors; then they dry and you see them turned yellow; then He makes them [scattered] debris. Indeed in that is a reminder for those of understanding.

کہ وہ ہدایت و نصیحت تھی عقل مندوں کے لئے ۔

As guidance and a reminder for those of understanding.

ان کے لئے اللہ تعالٰی نے سخت عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے ، پس اللہ سے ڈرو اے عقل مند ایمان والو ۔ یقیناً اللہ نے تمہاری طرف نصیحت اتار دی ہے ۔

Allah has prepared for them a severe punishment; so fear Allah , O you of understanding who have believed. Allah has sent down to you the Qur'an.
