It is He who made the sun a shining light and the moon a derived light and determined for it phases - that you may know the number of years and account [of time]. Allah has not created this except in truth. He details the signs for a people who know
Woh Allah Taalaa aisa hai jiss ney aftab ko chamakta hua banaya aur chand ko noorani banaya aur uss kay liye manzilen muqarrar kin takay tum barson ki ginti aur hisab maloom ker liya kero. Allah Taalaa ney yeh cheezen bey faeeda nahi peda kin. Woh yeh dalaeel unn ko saaf saaf batla raha hai jo danish rakhtay hain.
और अल्लाह वही है जिसने सूरज को सरापा रौशनी बनाया और चाँद को सरापा नूर और उसके (सफ़र के) लिए मंज़िलें मुक़र्रर कर दीं; ताकि तुम बरसों की गिनती और (महीनों का) हिसाब मालूम कर सको, अल्लाह ने यह सब कुछ बग़ैर किसी सही मक़सद के पैदा नहीं कर दिया, वह ये निशानियाँ खोल-खोल कर बयान करता है उनके लिए जो कुछ समझ रखते हैं।
Thus do We insert denial into the hearts of the criminals.
Gunehgaron kay dilon mein hum issi tarah yehi racha diya kertay hain.
इसी तरह हम यह (मज़ाक़) मुजरिमों के दिलों में डाल देते हैं।
And the record [of deeds] will be placed [open], and you will see the criminals fearful of that within it, and they will say, "Oh, woe to us! What is this book that leaves nothing small or great except that it has enumerated it?" And they will find what they did present [before them]. And your Lord does injustice to no one.
Aur naam-e-aemaal samney rakh diye jayen gay. Pus tu dekhay ga kay gunhegar iss ki tehreer say khofzada horahey hongay aur keh rahey hongay haaye humari kharabi yeh kaisi kitab hai jiss ney koi chota bara baghair gheray kay baqi hi nahi chora aur jo kuch enhon ney kiya tha sab mojood payen gay aur tera rab kissi per zulm-o-sitam na keray ga.
किताब (कर्मपत्रिका) रखी जाएगी तो अपराधियों को देखोंगे कि जो कुछ उस में होगा उस से डर रहे हैं और कह रहे हैं, "हाय, हमारा दुर्भाग्य! यह कैसी किताब है कि यह न कोई छोटी बात छोड़ती है न बड़ी, बल्कि सभी को इसने अपने अन्दर समाहित कर रखा है।" जो कुछ उन्होंने किया होगा सब मौजूद पाएँगे। तुम्हारा रब किसी पर ज़ुल्म न करेगा
And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst
Aur gunehgaron ko sakht piyas ki halat mein jahannum ki taraf haank ley jayen gay.
और अपराधियों को जहन्नम के घाट की ओर प्यासा हाँक ले जाएँगे।
O you who have believed, prescribed for you is legal retribution for those murdered - the free for the free, the slave for the slave, and the female for the female. But whoever overlooks from his brother anything, then there should be a suitable follow-up and payment to him with good conduct. This is an alleviation from your Lord and a mercy. But whoever transgresses after that will have a painful punishment.
Aey eman walon! Tum per maqtoolon ka qisass lena farz kiya gaya hai aazad aazad kay badlay ghulam ghulam kay badlay aurat aurat kay badlay. Haan jiss kissi ko uss kay bhai kay badlay moafi dey di jaye ussay bhalaee ki ittaba kerni chahaiye aur aasani kay sath deeyat ada kerni chahaiye. Tumharay rab ki taraf say yeh takhfeef aur rehmat hai iss kay baad bhi jo sirkashi keray ussay dard naak azab hoga.
ऐ ईमान वालो! तुम पर मक़्तूलों का क़िसास लेना फ़र्ज़ किया जाता है, आज़ाद के बदले आज़ाद, ग़ुलाम के बदले ग़ुलाम, औरत के बदले औरत, फिर जिसको उसके भाई की तरफ़ से कुछ माफ़ी हो जाए तो उसे चाहिए कि मुनासिब तरीक़े का ख़्याल रखे, और ख़ुशदिली के साथ उसको अदा करे, यह तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से एक आसानी और मेहरबानी है, अब इसके बाद भी जो शख़्स ज़्यादती करे उसके लिए दर्दनाक अज़ाब है।
The day they see the angels - no good tidings will there be that day for the criminals, and [the angels] will say, "Prevented and inaccessible."
Jiss din yeh farishton ko dekh len gay uss din inn gunehgaron ko koi khushi na hogi aur kahen gay yeh mehroom hi mehroom kiye gaye.
जिस दिन वे फ़रिश्तों को देखेंगे उस दिन अपराधियों के लिए कोई ख़ुशख़बरी न होगी और वे पुकार उठेंगे, "पनाह! पनाह!!"
Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals."
Keh dijiye kay zamin mein chal phir ker zara dekho to sahi kay gunehgaron ka kaisa anjam hua?
कहो कि "धरती में चलो-फिरो और देखो कि अपराधियों का कैसा परिणाम हुआ।"
He said, "I was only given it because of knowledge I have." Did he not know that Allah had destroyed before him of generations those who were greater than him in power and greater in accumulation [of wealth]? But the criminals, about their sins, will not be asked.
Qaroon ney kaha yeh sab kuch mujhay meri apni samajh ki bina per hi diya gaya hai kiya issay abb tak yeh nahi maloom kay Allah Taalaa ney uss say pehlay boht si basti walon ko ghaarat ker diya jo uss say boht ziyada qooat walay aur boht bari jama poonji walay thay. Aur gunehgaaron say unn kay gunahon ki baaz purs aisay waqt nahi ki jati
उस ने कहा, "मुझे तो यह मेरे अपने व्यक्तिगत ज्ञान के कारण मिला है।" क्या उस ने यह नहीं जाना कि अल्लाह उस से पहले कितनी ही नस्लों को विनष्ट कर चुका है जो शक्ति में उस से बढ़-चढ़कर और बाहुल्य में उस से अधिक थीं? अपराधियों से तो (उन की तबाही के समय) उन के गुनाहों के विषय में पूछा भी नहीं जाता
If you could but see when the criminals are hanging their heads before their Lord, [saying], "Our Lord, we have seen and heard, so return us [to the world]; we will work righteousness. Indeed, we are [now] certain."
Kaash kay aap dekhtay jab kay gunehgar log apnay rab Taalaa kay samney sir jhukaye huyey hongay kahen gay aey humaray rab! Hum ney dekh liya aur sunn liya abb tu humen wapis lota dey hum nek aemaal keren gay hum yaqeen kerney walay hain.
और यदि कहीं तुम देखते जब वे अपराधी अपने रब के सामने अपने सिर झुकाए होंगे कि "हमारे रब! हम ने देख लिया और सुन लिया। अब हमें वापस भेज दे, ताकि हम अच्छे कर्म करें। निस्संदेह अब हमें विश्वास हो गया।"
Those who were arrogant will say to those who were oppressed, "Did we avert you from guidance after it had come to you? Rather, you were criminals."
Yeh baray log inn kamzoron ko jawab den gay kay kiya tumharay pass hidayat aa chukney kay baad hum ney tumhen iss say roka tha? ( nahi ) bulkay tum ( khud ) hi mujrim thay.
वे लोग जो बड़े बनते थे उन लोगों से जो कमज़ोर समझे गए थे, कहेंगे, "क्या हम ने तुम्हे उस मार्गदर्शन से रोका था, जब वह तुम्हारे पास आया था? नहीं, बल्कि तुम स्वयं ही अपराधी हो।"
And do not argue on behalf of those who deceive themselves. Indeed, Allah loves not one who is a habitually sinful deceiver.
Aur inn ki taraf say jhagra na kero jo khud apni hi khayanat kertay hain yaqeenan dagha baaz gunehgar Allah Taalaa ko acha nahi lagta.
और आप उन लोगों की तरफ़ से न झगड़ें जो अपने आप से ख़यानत कर रहे हैं, बेशक अल्लाह ऐसे शख़्स को पसंद नहीं करता जो ख़यानत करने वाला, गुनहगार हो।
The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet.
Gunahgaar sirf huliye say hi pehchan liye jayen gey aur unki peshaniyon kay baal aur qadam pakar liye jayen gey.
अपराधी अपने चहरों से पहचान लिए जाएँगे और उन के माथे के बालों और टाँगों द्वारा पकड़ लिया जाएगा
So if they deny you, [O Muhammad], say, "Your Lord is the possessor of vast mercy; but His punishment cannot be repelled from the people who are criminals."
Phir agar yeh aap ko kaazib kahen to aap farma dijiye kay tumhara rab bara wasee rehmat wala hai aur iss ka azab mujrim logon say na talay ga.
पस अगर वे आपको झुठलाएं तो आप कह दें कि तुम्हारा रब तो बड़ी वसीअ़ रहमत वाला है, और उसका अज़ाब मुजरिम लोगों से फेरा नहीं जा सकता।
Then will We treat the Muslims like the criminals?
Kiya hum musalmanon ko misil gunehgaaron kay kerdengay.
तो क्या हम मुस्लिमों (आज्ञाकारियों) को अपराधियों जैसा कर देंगे?
And how many cities have We destroyed, and Our punishment came to them at night or while they were sleeping at noon.
Aur boht bastiyon ko hum ney tabah ker diya aur unn per humara azab raat kay waqt phonchaya aisi halat mein kay woh dophare kay waqt aaram mein thay.
और कितनी ही बस्तियाँ हैं जिनको हमने हलाक कर दिया, उन पर हमारा अज़ाब रात को आ पहुँचा या दोपहर को जबकि वे आराम कर रहे थे।
They will be shown each other. The criminal will wish that he could be ransomed from the punishment of that Day by his children
( Halankay ) aik doosray ko dikha diye jaeyen gay gunehgar uss din kay azab kay badlay fidye mein apney beton ko
हालाँकि वे एक-दूसरे को दिखाए जाएँगे। अपराधी चाहेगा कि किसी प्रकार वह उस दिन की यातना से छूटने के लिए अपने बेटों,
So be patient for the decision of your Lord and do not obey from among them a sinner or ungrateful [disbeliever].
Pus to apney rab kay hokum per qaim rah aur in mein say kissi gunhagar ya na shukray ka kaha na maan
अतः अपने रब के हुक्म और फ़ैसले के लिए धैर्य से काम लो और उन में से किसी पापी या कृतघ्न का आज्ञापालन न करना
The hypocrite men and hypocrite women are of one another. They enjoin what is wrong and forbid what is right and close their hands. They have forgotten Allah , so He has forgotten them [accordingly]. Indeed, the hypocrites - it is they who are the defiantly disobedient.
Tamam munafiq mard-o-aurat aapas mein aik hi hain yeh buri baaton ka hukum detay hain aur bhali baaton say roktay hain aur apni muthi band rakhtay hain yeh Allah ko bhool gaye enhen bhula diya be-shak munafiq hi fasiq-o-ba-dkirdar hain.
मुनाफ़िक़ मर्द और मुनाफ़िक़ औरतें सब एक तरह के हैं, वे बुराई का हुक्म देते हैं और भलाई से मना करते हैं और अपने हाथों को बंद रखते हैं, उन्होंने अल्लाह को भुला दिया तो अल्लाह ने भी उनको भुला दिया, बेशक मुनाफ़िक़ीन बहुत नाफ़रमान हैं।
