اے میری قوم کے لوگو! اب تم اپنی جگہ عمل کیئے جاؤ میں بھی عمل کر رہا ہوں ، تمہیں عنقریب معلوم ہو جائے گا کہ کس کے پاس وہ عذاب آتا ہے جو اسے رسوا کر دے اور کون ہے جو جھوٹا ہے تم انتظار کرو میں بھی تمہارے ساتھ منتظر ہوں

And O my people, work according to your position; indeed, I am working. You are going to know to whom will come a punishment that will disgrace him and who is a liar. So watch; indeed, I am with you a watcher, [awaiting the outcome]."

یوسف نے کہا یہ عورت ہی مجھے پھسلا رہی تھی ، اور عورت کے قبیلے کے ہی کے ایک شخص نے گواہی دی کہ اگر اس کا کرتہ آگے سے پھٹا ہوا ہو تو عورت سچی ہے اور یوسف جھوٹ بو لنے والوں میں سے ہے ۔

[Joseph] said, "It was she who sought to seduce me." And a witness from her family testified. "If his shirt is torn from the front, then she has told the truth, and he is of the liars.

اس لئے بھی کہ یہ لوگ جس چیز میں اختلاف کرتے تھے اسے اللہ تعالٰی صاف بیان کردے اور اس لئے بھی کہ خود کافر اپنا جھوٹا ہونا جان لیں ۔

[It is] so He will make clear to them [the truth of] that wherein they differ and so those who have disbelieved may know that they were liars.

جو اپنی نمازوں کی نگہبانی کرتے ہیں ۔

And they who carefully maintain their prayers -

وہ اس پر چار گواہ کیوں نہ لائے؟ اور جب گواہ نہیں لائے تو یہ بہتان باز لوگ یقیناً اللہ کے نزدیک محض جھوٹے ہیں ۔

Why did they [who slandered] not produce for it four witnesses? And when they do not produce the witnesses, then it is they, in the sight of Allah , who are the liars.

۔ ( اچٹتی ) ہوئی سنی سنائی پہنچا ‌دیتے ہیں اور اُن میں سے اكثر جھوٹے ہیں ۔

They pass on what is heard, and most of them are liars.

ان سے اگلوں کو بھی ہم نے خوب جانچا یقیناً اللہ تعالٰی انہیں بھی جان لے گا جو سچ کہتے ہیں اور انہیں بھی معلوم کر لے گا جو جھوٹے ہیں ۔

But We have certainly tried those before them, and Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars.

اس لیے جو شخص آپ کے پاس اس علم کے آجانے کے بعد بھی آپ سے اس میں جھگڑے تو آپ کہہ دیں کہ آؤ ہم تم اپنے اپنے فرزندوں کو اور ہم تم اپنی اپنی عورتوں کو اور ہم تم خاص اپنی اپنی جانوں کو بلا لیں ، پھر ہم عاجزی کے ساتھ التجا کریں اور جھوٹوں پر اللہ کی لعنت کریں ۔

Then whoever argues with you about it after [this] knowledge has come to you - say, "Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves, then supplicate earnestly [together] and invoke the curse of Allah upon the liars [among us]."

کہ اللہ تعالٰی کی اولاد ہے ۔ یقیناً یہ محض جھوٹے ہیں ۔

" Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars.

اور کافروں کو اس بات پر تعجب ہوا کہ ان ہی میں سے ایک انہیں ڈرانے والا آگیا اور کہنے لگے کہ یہ تو جادوگر اور جھوٹا ہے ۔

And they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves. And the disbelievers say, "This is a magician and a liar.

خبردار اللہ تعالیٰ ہی کے لیےٴ خالص عبادت کرنا ہے اور جن لوگوں نے اس کے سوا اولیاء بنا رکھے ہیں ( اور کہتے ہیں ) کہ ہم ان کی عبادت صرف اس لیےٴ کرتے ہیں کہ یہ ( بزرگ ) اللہ کی نزدیکی کے مرتبے تک ہماری رسایٴ کرادیں یہ لوگ جس کے بارے میں اختلاف کررہے ہیں اس کا ( سچا ) فیصلہ اللہ ( خود ) کرے گا ۔ جھوٹے اور ناشکرے ( لوگوں ) کو اللہ تعالیٰ راہ نہیں دکھاتا ۔

Unquestionably, for Allah is the pure religion. And those who take protectors besides Him [say], "We only worship them that they may bring us nearer to Allah in position." Indeed, Allah will judge between them concerning that over which they differ. Indeed, Allah does not guide he who is a liar and [confirmed] disbeliever.

اور ایک مومن شخص نے ، جو فرعون کے خاندان میں سے تھا اور اپنا ایمان چھپائے ہوئے تھاکہا کہ کیا تم ایک شخص کو محض اس بات پر قتل کرتے ہو کہ وہ کہتا ہے کہ میرا رب اللہ ہے اور تمہارے رب کی طرف سے دلیلیں لے کر آیا ہے اگر وہ جھوٹا ہو تو اس کا جھوٹ اسی پر ہے اور اگر وہ سچا ہو ، تو جس ( عذاب ) کا وہ تم سے وعدہ کر رہا ہے اس میں کچھ نہ کچھ تو تم پر آپڑے گا ، اللہ تعالٰی اس کی رہبری نہیں کرتا جو حد سے گزر جانے والے اور جھوٹے ہوں ۔

And a believing man from the family of Pharaoh who concealed his faith said, "Do you kill a man [merely] because he says, 'My Lord is Allah ' while he has brought you clear proofs from your Lord? And if he should be lying, then upon him is [the consequence of] his lie; but if he should be truthful, there will strike you some of what he promises you. Indeed, Allah does not guide one who is a transgressor and a liar.

کہ تمہارے ساتھی نے نہ راہ گم کی ہے اور نہ وہ ٹیڑھی راہ پر ہے ۔

Your companion [Muhammad] has not strayed, nor has he erred,

کیا ہمارے سب کے درمیان صرف اسی پر وحی اتاری گئی؟ نہیں بلکہ وہ جھوٹا شیخی خور ہے ۔

Has the message been sent down upon him from among us? Rather, he is an insolent liar."

جس دن اللہ تعالٰی ان سب کو اٹھا کھڑا کرے گا تو یہ جس طرح تمہارے سامنے قسمیں کھاتے ہیں ( اللہ تعالیٰ ) کے سامنے بھی قسمیں کھانے لگیں گے اور سمجھیں گے کہ وہ بھی کسی ( دلیل ) پر ہیں یقین مانو کہ بیشک وہی جھوٹے ہیں ۔

On the Day Allah will resurrect them all, and they will swear to Him as they swear to you and think that they are [standing] on something. Unquestionably, it is they who are the liars.

بلکہ جس چیز کو اس سے قبل چھپایا کرتے تھے وہ ان کے سامنے آگئی ہے اور اگر یہ لوگ پھر واپس بھیج دیئے جائیں تب بھی یہ وہی کام کریں گے جس سے اُن کو منع کیا گیا تھا اور یقیناً یہ بالکل جھو ٹے ہیں ۔

But what they concealed before has [now] appeared to them. And even if they were returned, they would return to that which they were forbidden; and indeed, they are liars.

تیرے پاس جب منافق آتے ہیں تو کہتے ہیں کہ ہم اس بات کے گواہ ہیں کہ بیشک آپ اللہ کے رسول ہیں اور اللہ جانتا ہے کہ یقیناً آپ اس کے رسول ہیں اور اللہ گواہی دیتا ہے کہ یہ منافق قطعًا جھوٹے ہیں ۔

When the hypocrites come to you, [O Muhammad], they say, "We testify that you are the Messenger of Allah ." And Allah knows that you are His Messenger, and Allah testifies that the hypocrites are liars.

اللہ تجھے معاف فرما دے تو نے انہیں کیوں اجازت دے دی؟ بغیر اس کے کہ تیرے سامنے سچے لوگ کھل جائیں اور تو جھوٹے لوگوں کو بھی جان لے ۔

May Allah pardon you, [O Muhammad]; why did you give them permission [to remain behind]? [You should not have] until it was evident to you who were truthful and you knew [who were] the liars.
