Indeed, your Lord knows, [O Muhammad], that you stand [in prayer] almost two thirds of the night or half of it or a third of it, and [so do] a group of those with you. And Allah determines [the extent of] the night and the day. He has known that you [Muslims] will not be able to do it and has turned to you in forgiveness, so recite what is easy [for you] of the Qur'an. He has known that there will be among you those who are ill and others traveling throughout the land seeking [something] of the bounty of Allah and others fighting for the cause of Allah . So recite what is easy from it and establish prayer and give zakah and loan Allah a goodly loan. And whatever good you put forward for yourselves - you will find it with Allah . It is better and greater in reward. And seek forgiveness of Allah . Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
Apka rab bakhobi janta hay ka yap aur aap kay sath kay logon ki ik jamat qareeb do tahai rat kay aur adhi rat kay aur ik tahai rat kay tahajud parhti hay aur rat din ka pora andaza Allah Talaa ko hi hay.wo ( khob ) janta hay kay tum is say hergiz na nibha sako gay pus isnay tum per meharbani ki lyhaza jitna qyran parhna tumhary liye asan ho itna hi parho wo janta hay kay tum mein baaz bimar bhi hongay baaz dosray zameen mein chal phir ker Allah Talah ka fazal ( yani rozi bhi ) talash kerein gay aur kuch log Allah talah ki rah mein jahad bhi kerein gay so tum basani jitna quran parh sako parho aur namaz ki pabandi rakho. Aur zakat dytay raha kero aur Allah Talah ko acha qarz do aur jo neki tum apney liye agay bhyjo gay ussy Allah talah kay han bhyter say bhyter aur sawab mein bohat ziyada pao gay ALLAH TALAH say moafi mangtay raho yaqeenan AllahTalah bakhshney wala meharban hy
निस्संदेह तुम्हारा रब जानता है कि तुम लगभग दो तिहाई रात, आधी रात और एक तिहाई रात तक (नमाज़ में) खड़े रहते हो, और एक गिरोंह उन लोगों में से भी जो तुम्हारे साथ है, खड़ा होता है। और अल्लाह रात और दिन की घट-बढ़ नियत करता है। उसे मालूम है कि तुम सब उस का निर्वाह न कर सकोगे, अतः उस ने तुम पर दया-दृष्टि की। अब जितना क़ुरआन आसानी से हो सके पढ़ लिया करो। उसे मालूम है कि तुम में से कुछ बीमार भी होंगे, और कुछ दूसरे लोग अल्लाह के उदार अनुग्रह (रोज़ी) को ढूँढते हुए धरती में यात्रा करेंगे, कुछ दूसरे लोग अल्लाह के मार्ग में युद्ध करेंगे। अतः उस में से जितना आसानी से हो सके पढ़ लिया करो, और नमाज़ क़ायम करो और ज़कात देते रहो, और अल्लाह को ऋण दो, अच्छा ऋण। तुम जो भलाई भी अपने लिए (आगे) भेजोगे उसे अल्लाह के यहाँ अत्युत्तम और प्रतिदान की दृष्टि से बहुत बढ़कर पाओगे। और अल्लाह से माफ़ी माँगते रहो। बेशक अल्लाह अत्यन्त क्षमाशील, दयावान है

And what can make you know what is Saqar?
aur tujhay kiya khaber kay dozakh kiya chez hay
और तुम्हें क्या पता की सक़र क्या है?
[And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?"
Tumhein dozakh mein kis chez ney dala
"तुम्हे क्या चीज़ सक़र (जहन्नम) में ले आई?"
And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement?
Aur tujhay kiya maloom kay faislay ka din kiya hai?
और तुम्हें क्या मालूम कि वह फ़ैसले का दिन क्या है? -
[They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny.
Uss dozakh ki taraf jao jissay tum jhutlatay rahey thay
चलो उस चीज़ की ओर जिसे तुम झुठलाते रहे हो!
Indeed, We have warned you of a near punishment on the Day when a man will observe what his hands have put forth and the disbeliever will say, "Oh, I wish that I were dust!"
Hum nay tumhein unqareeb anay walay azab say dara diya ( aur chokanna ker diya ) hai. jis din insan apnay haton ki kamai ko dekh ly gaur kafir kahy ga kay kash!mein mitti hojata
हम ने तुम्हें निकट आ लगी यातना से सावधान कर दिया है। जिस दिन मनुष्य देख लेगा जो कुछ उस के हाथों ने आगे भेजा, और इनकार करने वाला कहेगा, "ऐ काश! कि मैं मिट्टी होता!"
The Day when man will remember that for which he strove,
Jiss din kay insan apnay kiey hoy kamon ko yad kery ga
उस दिन मनुष्य जो कुछ भी उस ने प्रयास किया होगा उसे याद करेगा
O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous,
Ay insan tujhy apnay rab e karim say kis chez nay bhykaya?
ऐ मनुष्य! किस चीज़ ने तुझे अपने उदार प्रभु के विषय में धोखे में डाल रखा है?
They know whatever you do.
Jo kuch tum kerty ho wo janty hein
वे जान रहे होते हैं जो कुछ भी तुम लोग करते हो
And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?
Tujhy kuch khabar bhi hay kay badlay ka din kiya hay?
और तुम्हें क्या मालूम कि बदले का दिन क्या है?
Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?
Mein tujhy phir ( khyta hun kay ) tujhay kiya maloom kay jaza ( aur saza ) ka din kiya hay
फिर तुम्हें क्या मालूम कि बदले का दिन क्या है?
And what can make you know what is sijjeen?
Tujhy kiya maloom sijeen kiya hay?
तुम्हें क्या मालूम कि 'सिज्जीन' क्या है?
And what can make you know what is 'illiyyun?
Tujhy kiya pata kay illieen kiya hay?
और तुम क्या जानो कि 'इल्लीयीन' क्या है? -
Have the disbelievers [not] been rewarded [this Day] for what they used to do?
Kay abb in munkiron nay jaisa yeh kerty thay poora poora badla pa liya
क्या मिल गया बदला इनकार करने वालों को उस का जो कुछ वे करते रहे हैं?
And has cast out that within it and relinquished [it]
Aur iss mein jo hai ussay wo ugal degi aur khali hojaigi
और जो कुछ उस के भीतर है उसे बाहर डालकर खाली हो जाएगी
And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses.
Aur musalmano kay sath jo ker rahy thy us ko apney samney dekh rahy thy
और वे जो कुछ ईमान वालों के साथ करते रहे, उसे देखेंगे
And what can make you know what is the night comer?
Tujhy maloom bhi hay ky wo raat ko namodar honey wali chez kiya hay?
और तुम क्या जानो कि रात में प्रकट होने वाला क्या है?
Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden.
Magar jo kuch Allah chahey wo zahir aur poshida ko janta hay
बात यह है कि अल्लाह की इच्छा ही क्रियान्वित है। निश्चय ही वह जानता है खुले को भी और उसे भी जो छिपा रहे
And as for man, when his Lord tries him and [thus] is generous to him and favors him, he says, "My Lord has honored me."
Insan ( ka yeh hal hay kay ) jab ussy us ka rab azmata hay aur izat o neymat dyta hay to wo khyney lagta hay kay mery rab nay mujhy izat dar banadiya
किन्तु मनुष्य का हाल यह है कि जब उस का रब इस प्रकार उस की परीक्षा करता है कि उसे प्रतिष्ठा और नेमत प्रदान करता है, तो वह कहता है, "मेरे रब ने मुझे प्रतिष्ठित किया।"
But when He tries him and restricts his provision, he says, "My Lord has humiliated me."
aur jab wo usko azmata hay aur uski rozi tang kerdyta hay to wo kehney lagta hay kay mera rab nay meri ahanat ki hy ( aur zalil kiya )
किन्तु जब कभी वह उस की परीक्षा इस प्रकार करता है कि उस की रोज़ी नपी-तुली कर देता है, तो वह कहता है, "मेरे रब ने मेरा अपमान किया।"
And what can make you know what is [breaking through] the difficult pass?
Aur kiya samjha ky ghatti hy kiya?
और तुम्हें क्या मालूम कि वह घाटी क्या है!
Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you].
Naa to tery rab nay tujhy chora hai aur na woh bezar hogaya hai
तुम्हारे रब ने तुम्हें न तो विदा किया और न वह बेज़ार (अप्रसन्न) हुआ
Taught man that which he knew not.
Jiss nay insan ko who sikhaya jissay who nai janta tha
मनुष्य को वह ज्ञान प्रदान किया जिसे वह न जानता था
And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?
To kiaya janey kay shab qadar kiya hy
और तुम्हें क्या मालूम कि क़द्र की रात क्या है?
Nor did those who were given the Scripture become divided until after there had come to them clear evidence.
Ehl-e-kitab apnay pass zahir daleel ajanay kay baad hi ( ikhtilaaf mein par ker ) mutafarriq hogaey
हालाँकि जिन्हें किताब दी गई थी। वे इस के पश्चात फूट में पड़े कि उन के पास स्पष्ट प्रमाण आ चुका था
And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" -
Insan kehnay lagay ga kay issay kiya hogaya
और मनुष्य कहेगा, "उसे क्या हो गया है?"
But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered
Kiya issay who waqat maloom nahi jabb qabron mein jo kuch hy nikal liya jaey ga.
तो क्या वह जानता नहीं जब उगलवा लिया जाएगा जो क़ब्रों में है
And that within the breasts is obtained,
Aur seenon ki poshida batein zahir kerdi jaeingi
और स्पष्ट अनावृत्त कर दिया जाएगा जो कुछ सीनों में है
What is the Striking Calamity?
Kiaya hy who kharkhara deney wali.
क्या है वह खड़खड़ाने वाली?
And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity?
Tujhay kiya maloom kay who kharkhara deney wali kia hy.
और तुम्हें क्या मालूम कि क्या है वह खड़खड़ाने वाली?
And what can make you know what that is?
Tujhy kia maloom kay yeh kiya hai
और तुम्हें क्या मालूम कि वह क्या है?
And what can make you know what is the Crusher?
Aur tujhey kia maloom kay asi aag kiya hogi?
और तुम्हें क्या मालूम कि वह चूर-चूर कर देने वाली क्या है?
I do not worship what you worship.
Na mein ibadat kerta hun usski jiss kit um ibadat kerty ho.
मैं वैसी बन्दगी नहीं करूँगा जैसी बन्दगी तुम करते हो,
From the evil of that which He created
Her uss cheez ky shar say jo uss nay paida ki hai.
जो कुछ भी उस ने पैदा किया उस की बुराई से,
