To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He creates what he wills. He gives to whom He wills female [children], and He gives to whom He wills males.
Aasmano ki aur zamin ki saltanat Allah Taalaa hi kay liye hai woh jo chahata hai peda kerta hai jiss ko chahata hai betyian deta hai aur jissay chahata hai betay deta hai.
अल्लाह ही की है आकाशों और धरती की बादशाही। वह जो चाहता है पैदा करता है, जिसे चाहता है लड़कियाँ देता है और जिसे चाहता है लड़के देता है।
And it is not for any human being that Allah should speak to him except by revelation or from behind a partition or that He sends a messenger to reveal, by His permission, what He wills. Indeed, He is Most High and Wise.
Na-mumkin hai kay kissi banday say Allah Taalaa kalam keray magar wahee kay zariyey ya parday kay peechay say ya kissi farishtay ko bhejay aur woh Allah ka hukum say jo woh chahaye wahee keray be-shak woh bartar hai hikmat wala hai.
किसी मनुष्य की यह शान नहीं कि अल्लाह उस से बात करे, सिवाय इस के कि प्रकाशना के द्वारा या परदे के पीछे से (बात करे) । या यह कि वह एक रसूल (फ़रिश्ता) भेज दे, फिर वह उस की अनुज्ञा से जो कुछ वह चाहता है प्रकाशना कर दे। निश्चय ही वह सर्वोच्च अत्यन्त तत्वदर्शी है
And thus We have revealed to you an inspiration of Our command. You did not know what is the Book or [what is] faith, but We have made it a light by which We guide whom We will of Our servants. And indeed, [O Muhammad], you guide to a straight path -
Aur iss tarah hum ney aap ki taraf apnay hukum say rooh ko utara hai aap iss say pehlay yeh bhi nahi jantay thay kay kitab aur eman kiya cheez hai? Lekin hum nay issay noor banaya iss kay zariyey say apnay bandon mein say jissay chahatay hain hidayat detay hain be-shak aap raah-e-raast ki rehnumaee ker rahey hain.
और इसी प्रकार हम ने अपने आदेश से एक रूह (क़ुरआन) की प्रकाशना तुम्हारी ओर की है। तुम नहीं जानते थे कि किताब क्या होती है और न ईमान को (जानते थे), किन्तु हम ने इस (प्रकाशना) को एक प्रकाश बनाया, जिस के द्वारा हम अपने बन्दों में से जिसे चाहते हैं मार्ग दिखाते हैं। निश्चय ही तुम एक सीधे मार्ग की ओर पथप्रदर्शन कर रहे हो-
And thus We have revealed to you an inspiration of Our command. You did not know what is the Book or [what is] faith, but We have made it a light by which We guide whom We will of Our servants. And indeed, [O Muhammad], you guide to a straight path -
Aur iss tarah hum ney aap ki taraf apnay hukum say rooh ko utara hai aap iss say pehlay yeh bhi nahi jantay thay kay kitab aur eman kiya cheez hai? Lekin hum nay issay noor banaya iss kay zariyey say apnay bandon mein say jissay chahatay hain hidayat detay hain be-shak aap raah-e-raast ki rehnumaee ker rahey hain.
और इसी प्रकार हम ने अपने आदेश से एक रूह (क़ुरआन) की प्रकाशना तुम्हारी ओर की है। तुम नहीं जानते थे कि किताब क्या होती है और न ईमान को (जानते थे), किन्तु हम ने इस (प्रकाशना) को एक प्रकाश बनाया, जिस के द्वारा हम अपने बन्दों में से जिसे चाहते हैं मार्ग दिखाते हैं। निश्चय ही तुम एक सीधे मार्ग की ओर पथप्रदर्शन कर रहे हो-
The path of Allah , to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Unquestionably, to Allah do [all] matters evolve.
Uss Allah ki raah ki jiss ki milkiyat mein aasmano aur zamin ki her cheez hai. Aagah raho sab kaam Allah Taalaa hi ki taraf lot-tay hain.
उस अल्लाह के मार्ग की ओर जिस का वह सब कुछ है, जो आकाशों में है और जो धरती में है। सुन लो, सारे मामले अन्ततः अल्लाह ही की ओर पलटते हैं
And who created the species, all of them, and has made for you of ships and animals those which you mount.
Jiss ney tamam cheezon kay joray banaye aur tumharay liye kashtiyan banaeen aur chopaye janwar ( peda kiyey ) jinn per tum sawar hotay ho.
और जिस ने विभिन्न प्रकार की चीज़े पैदा कीं, और तुम्हारे लिए वे नौकाएँ और जानवर बनाए जिन पर तुम सवार होते हो
And they said, "If the Most Merciful had willed, we would not have worshipped them." They have of that no knowledge. They are not but falsifying.
Aur kehtay hain Allah chahta to hum inn ki ibadat na kertay. Enhen iss ki kuch khabar nahi yeh to sirf atkal pichoo ( jhoot baaten ) kehtay hain.
वे कहते हैं कि "यदि रहमान चाहता तो हम उन्हें न पूजते।" उन्हें इसका कुछ ज्ञान नहीं। वे तो बस अटकल दौड़ाते हैं
And they said, "If the Most Merciful had willed, we would not have worshipped them." They have of that no knowledge. They are not but falsifying.
Aur kehtay hain Allah chahta to hum inn ki ibadat na kertay. Enhen iss ki kuch khabar nahi yeh to sirf atkal pichoo ( jhoot baaten ) kehtay hain.
वे कहते हैं कि "यदि रहमान चाहता तो हम उन्हें न पूजते।" उन्हें इसका कुछ ज्ञान नहीं। वे तो बस अटकल दौड़ाते हैं
And they said, "Are our gods better, or is he?" They did not present the comparison except for [mere] argument. But, [in fact], they are a people prone to dispute.
Aur enhon ney kaha kay humaray mabood achay hain ya woh? Tujh say inn ka yeh kehna mehaz jhagray ki gharaz say hai bulkay yeh log hain hi jhagraloo.
और कहने लगे, "क्या हमारे उपास्य अच्छे नहीं या वह (मसीह)?" उन्होंने यह बात तुम से केवल झगड़ने के लिए कही, बल्कि वे तो हैं ही झगड़ालू लोग
Circulated among them will be plates and vessels of gold. And therein is whatever the souls desire and [what] delights the eyes, and you will abide therein eternally.
Inn kay charon taraf say soney ki rakabiyan aur soney kay gilason ka dor chalaya jaye ga inn kay ji jiss cheez ki khuwaish keren aur jiss say inn ki aankhen lazzat payen sab wahan hoga aur tum iss mein hamesha raho gay.
उन के आगे सोने की तशतरियाँ और प्याले गर्दिश करेंगे और वहाँ वह सब कुछ होगा, जो दिलों को भाए और आँखे जिस से लज़्ज़त पाएँ। "और तुम उस में सदैव रहोगे
And We gave them of signs that in which there was a clear trial.
Aur hum ney unhen aisi nishaniyan din jinn mein sareeh aazmaeesh thi.
और हम ने उन्हें निशानियों के द्वारा वह चीज़ दी जिस में स्पष्ट परीक्षा थी
We did not create them except in truth, but most of them do not know.
Bulkay hum ney unhen durust tadbeer kay sath peda kiya hai lekin inn mein aksar log nahi jantay.
हम ने उन्हें हक़ के साथ पैदा किया, किन्तु उन में से अधिकतर लोग जानते नहीं
Indeed, this is what you used to dispute."
Yehi woh cheez hai jiss mein tum shak kiya kertay thay.
यही तो है जिस के विषय में तुम संदेह करते थे।"
Before them is Hell, and what they had earned will not avail them at all nor what they had taken besides Allah as allies. And they will have a great punishment.
Unn kay peechay dozakh hai hai jo kuch unhon ney hasil kiya tha woh unhen kuch bhi nafa na dey ga aur na woh ( kuch kaam aayengay ) jinn ko unhon ney Allah kay siwa kaar saaz bana rakha tha unn kay liye bohat bara azab hai.
उन के आगे जहन्नम है, जो उन्होंने कमाया वह उन के कुछ काम न आएगा और न यही कि उन्होंने अल्लाह को छोड़कर अपने संरक्षक ठहरा रखे हैं। उन के लिए तो बड़ी यातना है
And We gave them clear proofs of the matter [of religion]. And they did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ.
Aur hum ney unhen deen ki saaf saaf daleelen dein phir unhon ney apnay pass ilm kay phonch janey kay baad aapas ki zidd behas say hi ikhtilaf barpa ker dala yeh jinn jinn cheezon mein ikhtilaf ker rahey hain unn ka faisla qayamat walay din unn kay darmiyan ( khud ) tera rab keray ga.
और हम ने उन्हें इस मामले के विषय में स्पष्ट निशानियाँ प्रदान कीं। फिर जो भी विभेद उन्होंने किया, वह इस के पश्चात ही किया कि उन के पास ज्ञान आ चुका था और इस कारण कि वे परस्पर एक-दूसरे पर ज़्यादती करना चाहते थे। निश्चय ही तुम्हारा रब क़ियामत के दिन उन के बीच उन चीज़ों के बारे में फ़ैसला कर देगा, जिनमें वे परस्पर विभेद करते रहे हैं
Or do those who commit evils think We will make them like those who have believed and done righteous deeds - [make them] equal in their life and their death? Evil is that which they judge.
Kiya unn logon ka jo bura kaam kertay hain yeh guman hai kay hum unhen unn logon jaisa kerden gay jo eman laye aur nek kaam kiyey kay unn ka marna jeena yaksan hojaye bura hai woh faisla jo woh ker rahey hain.
(क्या मार्गदर्शन और पथभ्रष्टता समान है) या वे लोग, जिन्होंने बुराइयाँ कमाई हैं, यह समझ बैठे हैं कि हम उन्हें उन लोगों जैसा कर देंगे जो ईमान लाए और उन्होंने अच्छे कर्म किए कि उन का जीना और मरना समान हो जाए? बहुत ही बुरा है जो निर्णय वे करते हैं!
And they say, "There is not but our worldly life; we die and live, and nothing destroys us except time." And they have of that no knowledge; they are only assuming.
Kiya abb bhi tum naseehat nahi pakartay. Unhon ney kaha humari zindagi to sirf duniya ki zindagi hi hai. Hum martay aur jeetay hain aur humen sirf zamana hi maar dalta hai ( dar-asal ) unhen iss ka kuch ilm hi nahi. Yeh to sirf ( qayas aur ) atkal say hi kaam ley rahey hain.
वे कहते हैं, "वह तो बस हमारा सांसारिक जीवन ही है। हम मरते और जीते हैं। हमें तो बस काल (समय) ही विनष्ट करता है।" हालाँकि उन के पास इसका कोई ज्ञान नहीं। वे तो बस अटकलें ही दौड़ाते हैं
And you will see every nation kneeling [from fear]. Every nation will be called to its record [and told], "Today you will be recompensed for what you used to do.
Aur aap dekhen gay kay her ummat ghutnon kay bal giri hui hogi. Her giroh apnay naam-e-aemaal ki taraf bulaya jayega aaj tumhen apnay kiyey ka badla diya jayega.
और तुम प्रत्येक गिरोह को घुटनों के बल झुका हुआ देखोगे। प्रत्येक गिरोह अपनी किताब की ओर बुलाया जाएगा, "आज तुम्हें उसी का बदला दिया जाएगा, जो तुम करते थे
This, Our record, speaks about you in truth. Indeed, We were having transcribed whatever you used to do."
Yeh hai humari kitab jo tumharay baray mein sach sach bol rahi hai hum tumharay aemaal likhwatay jatay thay.
"यह हमारी किताब है, जो तुम्हारे मुक़ाबले में ठीक-ठीक बोल रही है। निश्चय ही हम लिखवाते रहे हैं जो कुछ तुम करते थे।"
And when it was said, 'Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth and the Hour [is coming] - no doubt about it,' you said, 'We know not what is the Hour. We assume only assumption, and we are not convinced.' "
Aur jabb kabhi kaha jata kay Allah ka wada yaqeenan sacha hai aur qayamat kay aaney mein koi shak nahi to tum jawab detay thay kay hum nahi jantay qayamat kiya cheez hai? Humen kuch yun hi sa khayal hojata hai lekin humen yaqeen nahi.
और जब कहा जाता था कि अल्लाह का वादा सच्चा है और (क़ियामत की) घड़ी में कोई संदेह नहीं है। 'तो तुम कहते थे, "हम नहीं जानते कि वह घड़ी क्या है? हमें तो बस एक अनुमान-सा प्रतीत होता है और हमें विश्वास नहीं होता'।"
And the evil consequences of what they did will appear to them, and they will be enveloped by what they used to ridicule.
Aur unn per apnay aemaal ki burayian khul gaeen aur jiss ka woh mazak ura rahey thay uss ney unhen gher liya.
और जो कुछ वे करते रहे उस की बुराइयाँ उन पर प्रकट हो गई और जिस चीज़ का वे परिहास करते थे उसी ने उन्हें आ घेरा
We did not create the heavens and earth and what is between them except in truth and [for] a specified term. But those who disbelieve, from that of which they are warned, are turning away.
Hum ney aasmano aur zamin aur inn dono kay darmiyan ki tamam cheezon ko behtreen tadbeer kay sath hi aik muddat moayyen kay liye peda kiya hai aur kafir log jiss cheez say daraye jatay hain mun mor letay hain.
हम ने आकाशों और धरती को और जो कुछ उन दोनों के मध्य है उसे केवल हक़ के साथ और एक नियत अवधि तक के लिए पैदा किया है। किन्तु जिन लोगों ने इनकार किया है, वे उस चीज़ को ध्यान में नहीं लाते जिस से उन्हें सावधान किया गया है
Say, "I am not something original among the messengers, nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I only follow that which is revealed to me, and I am not but a clear warner."
Aap keh dijiye! Kay mein koi bilkul anokha payghamber to nahi na mujhay yeh maloom hai kay meray satha aur tumharay sath kiya kiya jayega. Mein to sirf ussi ki perwi kerta hun jo meri taraf wahee bheji jati hai aur mein to sirf alal elan aagah ker denay wala hun.
कह दो, "मैं कोई पहला रसूल तो नहीं हूँ। और मैं नहीं जानता कि मेरे साथ क्या किया जाएगा और न यह कि तुम्हारे साथ क्या किया जाएगा। मैं तो बस उसी का अनुगामी हूँ, जिस की प्रकाशना मेरी ओर की जाती है और मैं तो केवल एक स्पष्ट सावधान करने वाला हूँ।"
Say, "I am not something original among the messengers, nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I only follow that which is revealed to me, and I am not but a clear warner."

Say, "I am not something original among the messengers, nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I only follow that which is revealed to me, and I am not but a clear warner."

कह दो, "मैं कोई पहला रसूल तो नहीं हूँ। और मैं नहीं जानता कि मेरे साथ क्या किया जाएगा और न यह कि तुम्हारे साथ क्या किया जाएगा। मैं तो बस उसी का अनुगामी हूँ, जिस की प्रकाशना मेरी ओर की जाती है और मैं तो केवल एक स्पष्ट सावधान करने वाला हूँ।"
Those are the ones from whom We will accept the best of what they did and overlook their misdeeds, [their being] among the companions of Paradise. [That is] the promise of truth which they had been promised.
Yehi woh log hain jinn kay nek aemaal to hum qabool farma letay hain aur jinn kay bad aemaal say darguzar ker letay hain ( yeh ) jannati logon mein hain. Iss sachay waday kay mutabiq jo inn say kiya jata tha.
ऐसे ही लोग हैं जिनसे हम अच्छे कर्म, जो उन्होंने किए होंगे, स्वीकार कर लेगें और उन की बुराइयों को टाल जाएँगे। इस हाल में कि वे जन्नत वालों में होंगे, उस सच्चे वादे के अनुरूप जो उन से किया जाता रहा है
But one who says to his parents, "Uff to you; do you promise me that I will be brought forth [from the earth] when generations before me have already passed on [into oblivion]?" while they call to Allah for help [and to their son], "Woe to you! Believe! Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth." But he says, "This is not but legends of the former people" -
Aur jiss ney apnay maa baap say kaha kay tum say mein tang aagaya tum mujh say yehi kehtay raho gay kay mein marney kay baad phir zindah kiya jaoon ga mujh say pehlay bhi ummaten guzar chuki hain woh dono janab bari mein faryad kertay hain aur kehtay hain tujhay kharabi ho tu eman ley aa be-shak Allah ka wada haq hai woh jawab deta hai kay yeh to sirf aglon kay afsaney hain.
किन्तु वह व्यक्ति जिस ने अपने माँ-बाप से कहा, "धिक है तुम पर! क्या तुम मुझे डराते हो कि मैं (क़ब्र से) निकाला जाऊँगा, हालाँकि मुझ से पहले कितनी ही नस्लें गुज़र चुकी हैं?" और वे दोनों अल्लाह से फ़रियाद करते हैं - "अफ़सोस है तुम पर! मान जा। निस्संदेह अल्लाह का वादा सच्चा है।" किन्तु वह कहता है, "ये तो बस पहले के लोगों की कहानियाँ हैं।"
And when they saw it as a cloud approaching their valleys, they said, "This is a cloud bringing us rain!" Rather, it is that for which you were impatient: a wind, within it a painful punishment,
Phir jabb unhon ney azab ko basoorat badal dekha apni wadiyon ki taraf aatay huye to kehnay lagay yeh abar hum per barasney wala hai ( nahi ) bulkay dar-asal yeh abar woh ( azab ) hai jiss ki tum jaldi ker rahey thay hawa hai jiss mein dard-naak azab hai.
फिर जब उन्होंने उसे बादल के रूप में देखा, जिस का रुख़ उन की घाटियों की ओर था, तो वे कहने लगे, "यह बादल है जो हम पर बरसने वाला है!' "नहीं, बल्कि यह तो वही चीज़ है जिस के लिए तुम ने जल्दी मचा रखी थी। - यह वायु है जिस में दुखद यातना है
And We have already destroyed what surrounds you of [those] cities, and We have diversified the signs [or verses] that perhaps they might return [from disbelief].
Aur yaqeenan hum ney tumahray aas pass ki bastiyan tabah ker den aur tarah tarah ki hum ney apni nishaniyan biyan ker den takay woh rujoo ker len.
हम तुम्हारे आस-पास की बस्तियों को विनष्ट कर चुके हैं, हालाँकि हम ने तरह-तरह से आयते पेश की थीं, ताकि वे रुजू करें
So be patient, [O Muhammad], as were those of determination among the messengers and do not be impatient for them. It will be - on the Day they see that which they are promised - as though they had not remained [in the world] except an hour of a day. [This is] notification. And will [any] be destroyed except the defiantly disobedient people?
Pus ( aey payghumber! ) tum aisa sabar kero jaisa sabar aali himmat rasoolon ney kiya aur inn kay liye ( azab talab kerney mein ) jaldi na kero yeh jiss din iss azab ko dekh len gay jiss ka wada diye jatay hain to ( yeh maloom honay lagay ga kay ) din ki aik ghari hi ( duniya mein ) theray thay yeh hai pahgham phoncha dena pus badkaron kay siwa koi halak na kiya jaye ga.
अतः धैर्य से काम लो, जिस प्रकार संकल्पवान रसूलों ने धैर्य से काम लिया। और उन के लिए जल्दी न करो। जिस दिन वे लोग उस चीज़ को देख लेंगे जिस का उन से वादा किया जाता है, तो वे महसूस करेंगे कि जैसे वे बस दिन की एक घड़ी भर ही ठहरे थे। यह (संदेश) साफ़-साफ़ पहुँचा देना है। अब क्या अवज्ञाकारी लोगों के अतिरिक्त कोई और विनष्ट होगा?
Indeed, those who reverted back [to disbelief] after guidance had become clear to them - Satan enticed them and prolonged hope for them.
Jo log apni peeth kay bal ultay phir gaye iss kay baad kay unn kay liye hidayat wazeh ho chuki yaqeenan shetan ney unn kay liye ( unkay fail ko ) muzayyen ker diya hai aur unhen dheel day rakhi hai.
वे लोग जो पीठ-फेरकर पलट गए, इस के पश्चात कि उन पर मार्ग स्पष्ट हो चुका था, उन्हें शैतान ने बहका दिया और उस ने उन्हें ढील दे दी
That is because they said to those who disliked what Allah sent down, "We will obey you in part of the matter." And Allah knows what they conceal.
Yeh iss liye kay unhon ney inn logon say jinhon ney Allah ki nazil kerdah wahee ko bura samjha yeh kaha kay hum bhi unqareeb baaz kamon mein tumhara kaha manen gay aur Allah unki posheedah batein khoob janta hai.
यह इसलिए कि उन्होंने उन लोगों से, जिन्होंने उस चीज़ को नापसन्द किया जो कुछ अल्लाह ने उतारा है, कहा कि "हम कुछ मामलों में तुम्हारी बात मान लेंगे।" अल्लाह उन की गुप्त बातों को भली-भाँति जानता है
Indeed, those who disbelieved and averted [people] from the path of Allah and opposed the Messenger after guidance had become clear to them - never will they harm Allah at all, and He will render worthless their deeds.
Yaqeenan jinn logon ney kufur kiya aur Allah ki raah say logon ko roka aur rasool ki mukhalifat ki iss kay baad kay unn kay liye hidayat zahir ho chuki yeh hergiz hergiz Allah ka kuch nuksan na keren gay. Unqareeb inn kay aemaal woh ghaarat ker dey ga.
जिन लोगों ने इस के पश्चात कि मार्ग उन पर स्पष्ट हो चुका था, इनकार किया और अल्लाह के मार्ग से रोका और रसूल का विरोध किया, वे अल्लाह को कदापि कोई हानि नहीं पहुँचा सकेंगे, बल्कि वही उन का सब किया-कराया उन की जान को लागू कर देगा
That Allah may forgive for you what preceded of your sin and what will follow and complete His favor upon you and guide you to a straight path
Takay jo kuch teray gunah aagay huye aur jo peechay sab ko Allah Taalaa maaf farmaye, aur tujh per apna ehsan poora ker day aur tujhay seedhi raah chalaye.
ताकि अल्लाह तुम्हारे अगले और पिछले गुनाहों को क्षमा कर दे और तुम पर अपनी अनुकम्पा पूर्ण कर दे और तुम्हें सीधे मार्ग पर चलाए,
Certainly was Allah pleased with the believers when they pledged allegiance to you, [O Muhammad], under the tree, and He knew what was in their hearts, so He sent down tranquillity upon them and rewarded them with an imminent conquest
Yaqeenan Allah Taalaa momino say khush hogaya jabkay woh darakht talay tujh say bait ker rahey thay unn kay dilon mein jo tha ussay uss ney maloom kerliya aur unn per itminaan nazil farmaya aur unhen qareeb ki fatah inayat farmaee.
निश्चय ही अल्लाह मोमिनों से प्रसन्न हुआ, जब वे वृक्ष के नीचे तुम से बैअत कर रहे थे। उस ने जान लिया जो कुछ उन के दिलों में था। अतः उन पर उस ने सकीना (प्रशान्ति) उतारी और बदले में उन्हें मिलने वाली विजय निश्चित कर दी;
Certainly has Allah showed to His Messenger the vision in truth. You will surely enter al-Masjid al-Haram, if Allah wills, in safety, with your heads shaved and [hair] shortened, not fearing [anyone]. He knew what you did not know and has arranged before that a conquest near [at hand].
Yaqeenan Allah Taalaa ney apnay rasool ko khuwab sacha dikhaya kay inshaAllah tum yaqeenan pooray aman-o-aman kay sath masjid-e-haram mein dakhil hogay sir kay baal mundwatay huye aur sir kay baal katarwatay huye ( chain kay sath ) nidar hoker woh inn umoor ko jaanta hai jinhen tum nahi jantay pus uss ney iss say pehlay aik nazdeek ki fatah tumhen mayassar ki.
निश्चय ही अल्लाह ने अपने रसूल को हक़ के साथ सच्चा स्वप्न दिखाया, "यदि अल्लाह ने चाहा तो तुम अवश्य मस्जिदे हराम (काबा) में प्रवेश करोगे बेखटके, अपने सिर के बाल मुड़ाते और कतरवाते हुए, तुम्हें कोई भय न होगा।" हुआ यह कि उस ने वह बात जान ली जो तुम ने नहीं जानी। अतः इससे पहले उस ने शीघ्र प्राप्त होने वाली विजय तुम्हारे लिए निश्चिंत कर दी
O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful.
Aey musalmano! Agar tumhen koi fasiq khabar dey to tum uss ko achi tarah tehqeeq kerlia kero aisa na ho kay nadaani mein kissi qom ko eza phoncha do phir apnay kiye per pasheymani uthao.
ऐ लोगों, जो ईमान लाए हो! यदि कोई अवज्ञाकारी तुम्हारे पास कोई ख़बर लेकर आए तो उस की छानबीन कर लिया करो। कहीं ऐसा न हो कि तुम किसी गिरोह को अनजाने में तकलीफ़ और नुक़सान पहुँचा बैठो, फिर अपने किए पर पछताओ
Say, "Would you acquaint Allah with your religion while Allah knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and Allah is Knowing of all things?"
Kehdijiye! Kay kiya tum Allah Taalaa ko apni deen dari say aagah ker rahey ho, Allah her uss cheez say jo aasmano mein aur zamin mein hai bakhoobi aagah hai aur Allah her cheez ka jannay wala hai.
कहो, "क्या तुम अल्लाह को अपने धर्म की सूचना दे रहे हो। हालाँकि जो कुछ आकाशों में और जो कुछ धरती में है, अल्लाह सब जानता है? अल्लाह को हर चीज़ का ज्ञान है।"
We know what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a retaining record.
Zamin jo kuch inn mein say ghatati hai who humen maloom hai aur humaray pass sabb yaad rakhnay waali kitab hai.
हम जानते हैं कि धरती उन में जो कुछ कमी करती है और हमारे पास सुरक्षित रखने वाली एक किताब भी है
And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein
Hum ney insan ko peda kiya hai aur iss kay dil mein jo khayalat uthtay hain unn say hum waqif hain aur hum uss ki rag-e-jaan say bhi ziyadah uss say qareeb hain.
हम ने मनुष्य को पैदा किया है और हम जानते हैं जो बातें उस के जी में आती हैं। और हम उस से उस की गरदन की रग से भी अधिक निकट हैं
Man does not utter any word except that with him is an observer prepared [to record].
( Insan ) mun say koi lafz nikal nahi pata magar kay usskay pass nigheban tayyar hai.
कोई बात उस ने कही नहीं कि उस के पास एक निरीक्षक तैयार रहता है
And the intoxication of death will bring the truth; that is what you were trying to avoid.
Aur mot ki beyhoshi haq ley ker aa phonchi yehi hai jiss say tu bidakta phirta tha.
और मौत की बेहोशी ले आई विश्वसनीय चीज़! यही वह चीज़ है जिस से तू कतराता था
And his companion, [the angel], will say, "This [record] is what is with me, prepared."
Uss ka humnasheen ( farishta ) kahega yeh hazir hai jo kay meray pass tha.
उस के साथी ने कहा, "यह है (तेरी सजा)! मेरे पास कुछ (सहायता के लिए) मौजूद नहीं।"
The word will not be changed with Me, and never will I be unjust to the servants."
Meray haan baat badalti nahi aur na hi mein apnay bandon per zara bhi zulm kerney wala hun.
"मेरे यहाँ बात बदला नहीं करती और न मैं अपने बन्दों पर तनिक भी अत्याचार करता हूँ।"
[It will be said], "This is what you were promised - for every returner [to Allah ] and keeper [of His covenant]
Yeh hai jiss ka tum say wada kiya jata tha her uss shaks kay liye jo rujoo kerney wala aur pabandi kerney wala ho.
"यह है वह चीज़ जिस का तुम से वादा किया जाता था हर रुजू करने वाले, बड़ी निगरानी रखने वाले के लिए; -
So be patient, [O Muhammad], over what they say and exalt [ Allah ] with praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting,
Pus yeh jo kuch kehtay hain aap iss per sabar keren aur apnay rab ki tasbeeh tareef kay sath biyan keren sooraj nikalney say pehlay bhi aur sooraj ghuroob honey say pehlay bhi.
अतः जो कुछ वे कहते हैं उस पर धैर्य से काम लो और अपने रब की प्रशंसा की तसबीह करो; सूर्योदय से पूर्व और सूर्यास्त के पूर्व,
They used to sleep but little of the night,
Woh raat ko boht kum soya kertay thay.
रातों को थोड़ा ही सोते थे,
It left nothing of what it came upon but that it made it like disintegrated ruins.
Woh jiss jiss cheez per girti thi ussay boseedah hadi ki tarah ( choora choora ) kerdeti thi.
वह जिस चीज़ पर से गुज़री उसे उस ने जीर्ण-शीर्ण करके रख दिया
[Enter to] burn therein; then be patient or impatient - it is all the same for you. You are only being recompensed [for] what you used to do."
Jao dozakh mein abb tumhara sabar kerna aur na kerna tumharay liye yaksan hai tumhein faqat tumharay kiye ka badla diya jayega.
"जाओ, झुलसो उसमें! अब धैर्य से काम लो या धैर्य से काम न लो; तुम्हारे लिए बराबर है। तुम वही बदला पा रहे हो, जो तुम करते रहे थे।"
Your companion [Muhammad] has not strayed, nor has he erred,
Kay tumharey sathi ney na raah gum ki hai na woh terhi raah per hai.
तुम्हारा साथी (मुहम्मह सल्ल॰) न गुमराह हुआ और न बहका;
