گرج اس کی تسبیح و تعریف کرتی ہے اور فرشتے بھی اس کے خوف سے اور وہی آسمان سے بجلیاں گراتا ہے اور جس پر چاہتا ہے اس پر ڈالتا ہے کفار اللہ کی بابت لڑ جھگڑ رہے ہیں اور اللہ سخت قوت والا ہے ۔

And the thunder exalts [ Allah ] with praise of Him - and the angels [as well] from fear of Him - and He sends thunderbolts and strikes therewith whom He wills while they dispute about Allah ; and He is severe in assault.

اور ان کے بعد ہم خود تمہیں اس زمین میں بسائیں گے یہ ہے ان کے لئے جو میرے سامنے کھڑے ہونے کا ڈر رکھیں اور میری وعید سے خوف زدہ رہیں ۔

And We will surely cause you to dwell in the land after them. That is for he who fears My position and fears My threat."

اسی نے چوپائے پیدا کئے جن میں تمہارے لئے گرم لباس ہیں اور بھی بہت سے نفع ہیں اور بعض تمہارے کھانے کے کام آتے ہیں ۔

And the grazing livestock He has created for you; in them is warmth and [numerous] benefits, and from them you eat.

ہمیں نشانات ( معجزات ) کے نازل کرنے سے روک صرف اسی کی ہے کہ اگلے لوگ انہیں جھٹلا چکے ہیں ہم نے ثمودیوں کو بطور بصیرت کے اونٹنی دی لیکن انہوں نے اس پر ظلم کیا ہم تو لوگوں کو دھمکانے کے لئے ہی نشانیاں بھیجتے ہیں ۔

And nothing has prevented Us from sending signs except that the former peoples denied them. And We gave Thamud the she-camel as a visible sign, but they wronged her. And We send not the signs except as a warning.

اور جو لوگ ایمان لاتے ہیں اس پر جو آپ کی طرف اتارا گیا اور جو آپ سے پہلے اتارا گیا اور وہ آخرت پر بھی یقین رکھتے ہیں ۔

And who believe in what has been revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith].

وہ لوگ جو اپنے رب سے بن دیکھے خوف کھاتے ہیں اور قیامت ( کے تصور ) سے کانپتے رہتے ہیں ۔

Who fear their Lord unseen, while they are of the Hour apprehensive.

لوگو !اپنے رب سے ڈرو اور اس دن کا خوف کرو جس دن باپ اپنے بیٹے کو کوئی نفع نہ پہنچا سکے گا اور نہ بیٹا اپنے باپ کا ذرا سا بھی نفع کرنے والا ہوگا ( یاد رکھو ) اللہ کا وعدہ سچا ہے ( دیکھو ) تمہیں دنیا کی زندگی دھوکے میں نہ ڈالے اور نہ دھوکے باز ( شیطان ) تمہیں دھوکے میں ڈال دے ۔

O mankind, fear your Lord and fear a Day when no father will avail his son, nor will a son avail his father at all. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allah by the Deceiver.

ان کی کروٹیں اپنے بستروں سے الگ رہتی ہیں اپنے رب کو خوف اور امید کے ساتھ پکارتے ہیں اور جو کچھ ہم نے انہیں دے رکھا ہے وہ خرچ کرتے ہیں ۔

They arise from [their] beds; they supplicate their Lord in fear and aspiration, and from what We have provided them, they spend.

کوئی بھی بوجھ اٹھانے والا دوسرے کا بوجھ نہیں اٹھائے گا اگر کوئی گراں بار دوسرے کو اپنا بوجھ اٹھانے کے لئے بلائے گا تو وہ اس میں سے کچھ بھی نہ اٹھائے گا گو قرابت دار ہی ہو تو صرف انہی کو آگاہ کر سکتا ہے جو غائبانہ طور پر اپنے رب سے ڈرتے ہیں اور نمازوں کی پابندی کرتے ہیں اور جو بھی پاک ہو جائے وہ اپنے ہی نفع کے لئے پاک ہوگا لوٹنا اللہ ہی کی طرف ہے ۔

And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And if a heavily laden soul calls [another] to [carry some of] its load, nothing of it will be carried, even if he should be a close relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord unseen and have established prayer. And whoever purifies himself only purifies himself for [the benefit of] his soul. And to Allah is the [final] destination.

بس آپ تو صرف ایسے شخص کو ڈرا سکتے ہیں جو نصیحت پر چلے اور رحمٰن سے بے دیکھے ڈرے سو آپ اس کو مغفرت اور با وقار اجر کی خوش خبریاں سنا دیجئے ۔

You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward.

انہیں نیچے اوپر سے آگ کے ( شعلے مثل ) سائبان ( کے ) ڈھانک رہے ہونگے یہی ( عذاب ) ہے جن سے اللہ تعالٰی اپنے بندوں کو ڈرا رہا ہے اے میرے بندو! پس مجھ سے ڈرتے رہو ۔

They will have canopies of fire above them and below them, canopies. By that Allah threatens His servants. O My servants, then fear Me.

قریب ہے آسمان اوپر سے پھٹ پڑیں اور تمام فرشتے اپنے رب کی پاکی تعریف کے ساتھ بیان کر رہے ہیں اور زمین والوں کے لئے استغفار کر رہے ہیں خوب سمجھ رکھو کہ اللہ تعالٰی ہی معاف فرمانے والا رحمت والا ہے ۔

The heavens almost break from above them, and the angels exalt [ Allah ] with praise of their Lord and ask forgiveness for those on earth. Unquestionably, it is Allah who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.

تاکہ ( اے مسلمانو ) تم اللہ اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان لاؤ اور اس کی مدد کرو اور اس کا ادب کرو اور اللہ کی پاکی بیان کرو صبح و شام ۔

That you [people] may believe in Allah and His Messenger and honor him and respect the Prophet and exalt Allah morning and afternoon.

دو شخصوں نے جو خدا ترس لوگوں میں سے تھے ، جن پر اللہ تعالٰی کا فضل تھا کہا کہ تم ان کے پاس دروازے میں تو پہنچ جاؤ ۔ دروازے میں قدم رکھتے ہی یقیناً تم غالب آجاؤ گے ، اور تم اگر مومن ہو تو تمہیں اللہ تعالٰی ہی پر بھروسہ رکھنا چاہیے

Said two men from those who feared [to disobey] upon whom Allah had bestowed favor, "Enter upon them through the gate, for when you have entered it, you will be predominant. And upon Allah rely, if you should be believers."

یہ جو کچھ کہہ رہے ہیں ہم بخوبی جانتے ہیں اور آپ ان پر جبر کرنے والے نہیں ، تو آپ قرآن کے ذریعے انہیں سمجھاتے رہیں جو میرے وعید ( ڈراوے کے وعدوں ) سے ڈرتے ہیں ۔

We are most knowing of what they say, and you are not over them a tyrant. But remind by the Qur'an whoever fears My threat.

اور اس شخص کے لئے جو اپنے رب کے سامنے کھڑا ہونے سے ڈرا دو جنتیں ہیں ۔

But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens -

اگر ہم اس قرآن کو کسی پہاڑ پر اتارتے تو تو دیکھتا کہ خوف الٰہی سے وہ پست ہو کر ٹکڑے ٹکڑے ہو جاتا ہم ان مثالوں کو لوگوں کے سامنے بیان کرتے ہیں تاکہ وہ غور و فکر کریں ۔

If We had sent down this Qur'an upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and coming apart from fear of Allah . And these examples We present to the people that perhaps they will give thought.

بیشک جو لوگ اپنے پروردگار سے غائبانہ طور پر ڈرتے رہتے ہیں ان کے لئے بخشش ہے اور بڑا ثواب ہے ۔

Indeed, those who fear their Lord unseen will have forgiveness and great reward.

اور دنیا میں اس کے بعد کہ اس کی درستی کر دی گئی ہے فساد مت پھیلاؤ اور تم اللہ کی عبادت کرو اس سے ڈرتے ہوئے اور امیدوار رہتے ہوئے بیشک اللہ تعالٰی کی رحمت نیک کام کرنے والوں کے نزدیک ہے

And cause not corruption upon the earth after its reformation. And invoke Him in fear and aspiration. Indeed, the mercy of Allah is near to the doers of good.

تمہیں کیا ہوگیا ہے کہ تم اللہ کی برتری کا عقیدہ نہیں رکھتے ۔

What is [the matter] with you that you do not attribute to Allah [due] grandeur

جو نذر پوری کرتے ہیں اور اس دن سے ڈرتے ہیں جس کی برائی چاروں طرف پھیل جانے والی ہے ۔

They [are those who] fulfill [their] vows and fear a Day whose evil will be widespread.

ان کا بدلہ ان کے رب کے پاس ہمیشگی والی جنتیں ہیں جنکے نیچے نہریں بہہ رہی ہیں جن میں وہ ہمیشہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے ۔ اللہ تعا لٰی ان سے راضی ہوا اور یہ اس سے راضی ہوئے یہ ہے اس کے لئے جو اپنے پروردگار سے ڈرے ۔

Their reward with Allah will be gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allah being pleased with them and they with Him. That is for whoever has feared his Lord.
