And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?
Tujhy kuch khabar bhi hay kay badlay ka din kiya hay?
और तुम्हें क्या मालूम कि बदले का दिन क्या है?
Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?
Mein tujhy phir ( khyta hun kay ) tujhay kiya maloom kay jaza ( aur saza ) ka din kiya hay
फिर तुम्हें क्या मालूम कि बदले का दिन क्या है?
It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah .
Wo hay jis din koi shaks kisi shaks kay liye kissi cheez ka mukhtar na hoga aur ( tamam ter ) ehkaam us roz Allah kay hi hongay
जिस दिन कोई व्यक्ति किसी व्यक्ति के लिए किसी चीज़ का अधिकारी न होगा, मामला उस दिन अल्लाह ही के हाथ में होगा
No! Indeed, from their Lord, that Day, they will be partitioned.
Hergiz nahi yeh log us din apnay rab say oat mein rakhy jaein gay
कुछ नहीं, अवश्य ही वे उस दिन अपने रब से ओट में होंगे,
Then indeed, they will [enter and] burn in Hellfire.
Phir yeh log bil yaqen jahanum mein jhonky jaein gay
फिर वे भड़कती आग में जा पड़ेंगे
Then it will be said [to them], "This is what you used to deny."
Phir keh diya jaey ga kay yehi hay wo jissy tum jhotlaty rahy
फिर कहा जाएगा, "यह वही है जिसे तुम झुठलाते थे"
When the sky has split [open]
Jab asman phat jaey ga
जबकि आकाश फट जाएगा,
And has responded to its Lord and was obligated [to do so]
Aur apney rab kay hokum per kan lagaey ga aur issi kay laiq wo hay
और वह अपने रब की सुनेगा, और उसे यही चाहिए भी
And when the earth has been extended
Aur jab zameen ( khench ker ) phela di jaey gi
जब धरती फैला दी जाएगी
And has cast out that within it and relinquished [it]
Aur iss mein jo hai ussay wo ugal degi aur khali hojaigi
और जो कुछ उस के भीतर है उसे बाहर डालकर खाली हो जाएगी
And has responded to its Lord and was obligated [to do so] -
Aur apney rab ky hokoom per kaan lagaye gi aur isi kay laeeq wo hy
और वह अपने रब की सुनेगी, और उसे यही चाहिए भी
No! When the earth has been leveled - pounded and crushed -
Yaqeenan jis waqat zameen koot koot ker baraber kerdi jaey gi
कुछ नहीं, जब धरती कूट-कूट कर चुर्ण-विचुर्ण कर दी जाएगी,
And your Lord has come and the angels, rank upon rank,
Aur tera rab ( khud ) ajaey ga aur farishty safen bandh ker ( ajaey gay )
और तुम्हारा रब और फ़रिश्ता (बन्दों की) एक-एक पंक्ति के पास आएगा,
And brought [within view], that Day, is Hell - that Day, man will remember, but what good to him will be the remembrance?
Aur jis din jhanum bhi lai jaey gi oss din insan ko samjh ayegi magar aj osky samjhney ka faida kahan?
और जहन्नम को उस दिन लाया जाएगा, उस दिन मनुष्य चेतेगा, किन्तु कहाँ है उस के लिए लाभप्रद उस समय का चेतना?
He will say, "Oh, I wish I had sent ahead [some good] for my life."
Wo kahy ga kay kash kay mein nay apni is zindagi kay liey kuch peshgi saman kiya hota
वह कहेगा, "ऐ काश! मैंने अपने जीवन के लिए कुछ करके आगे भेजा होता।"
So on that Day, none will punish [as severely] as His punishment,
Pus aj Allah kay azab jaisa azab kisi ka na hoga
फिर उस दिन कोई नहीं जो उस की जैसी यातना दे,
And none will bind [as severely] as His binding [of the evildoers].
Na uski qaid o band jaisi kisi ki qaid o band hogi
और कोई नहीं जो उस की जकड़बन्द की तरह बाँधे
[To the righteous it will be said], "O reassured soul,
Ay itmynan wali rooh
"ऐ संतुष्ट आत्मा!
Return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing [to Him],
To apney rab ki taraf loot chal is tarah kay to issy razi wo tujh say khush
लौट अपने रब की ओर, इस तरह कि तू उस से राज़ी है वह तुझ से राज़ी है।
And enter among My [righteous] servants
Pus mery khas bandon mein dakhil hoja
अतः मेरे बन्दों में सम्मिलित हो जा
And enter My Paradise."
Aur meri jannat mein chali ja
और प्रवेश कर मेरी जन्नत में।"
When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake
Jabb zameen pori tarah jhanjor di jaeygi
जब धरती इस प्रकार हिला डाली जाएगी जैसा उसे हिलाया जाना है,
And the earth discharges its burdens
Aur apney bojh bahar nikal phenkay gi
और धरती अपने बोझ बाहर निकाल देगी,
And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" -
Insan kehnay lagay ga kay issay kiya hogaya
और मनुष्य कहेगा, "उसे क्या हो गया है?"
That Day, it will report its news
Uss din zameen apni sabb khabrein biyan kerdegi
उस दिन वह अपना वृत्तांत सुनाएगी,
Because your Lord has commanded it.
Issliye kay tery rab nay ussy hukam diya hoga.
इस कारण कि तुम्हारे रब ने उसे यही संकेत किया होगा
That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds.
Uss rozlog mukhtalif jamatein hoker ( wapis ) lotein gay takey unhein unkay aiymaal dikha diey jaein.
उस दिन लोग अलग-अलग निकलेंगे, ताकि उन्हें कर्म दिखाए जाएँ
So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it,
pus jiss nay zara baraber neki ki hogi who issay dekhlega
अतः जो कोई कणभर भी नेकी करेगा, वह उसे देख लेगा,
And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.
Aur jiss nay zara baraber burai ki hogi who ussy dekhlega.
और जो कोई कणभर भी बुराई करेगा, वह भी उसे देख लेगा
But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered
Kiya issay who waqat maloom nahi jabb qabron mein jo kuch hy nikal liya jaey ga.
तो क्या वह जानता नहीं जब उगलवा लिया जाएगा जो क़ब्रों में है
