الفاظ ( كَانَ )

پس جب یہ عورتیں اپنی عدت پوری کرنے کے قریب پہنچ جائیں تو انہیں یا تو قاعدہ کے مطابق اپنے نکاح میں رہنے دو یا دستور کے مطابق انہیں الگ کر دو اور آپس میں سے دو عادل شخصوں کو گواہ کر لو اور اللہ کی رضامندی کے لئے ٹھیک ٹھیک گواہی دو یہی ہے وہ جس کی نصیحت اسے کی جاتی ہے اور جو اللہ پر اور قیامت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتا ہو اور جو شخص اللہ سے ڈرتا ہے اللہ اس کے لئے چھٹکارے کی شکل نکال دیتا ہے ۔

And when they have [nearly] fulfilled their term, either retain them according to acceptable terms or part with them according to acceptable terms. And bring to witness two just men from among you and establish the testimony for [the acceptance of] Allah . That is instructed to whoever should believe in Allah and the Last day. And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out

اور ان سے پہلے لوگوں نے بھی جھٹلایا تھا تو دیکھو ان پر میرا عذاب کیسا ہوا؟

And already had those before them denied, and how [terrible] was My reproach.

اس کی سرکشی صرف اس لئے ہے کہ وہ مال والا اور بیٹوں والا ہے ۔

Because he is a possessor of wealth and children,

بیشک یہ اللہ عظمت والے پر ایمان نہ رکھتا تھا ۔

Indeed, he did not used to believe in Allah , the Most Great,

جس کی طرف فرشتے اور روح چڑھتے ہیں ایک دن میں جس کی مقدار پچاس ہزار سال کی ہے ۔

The angels and the Spirit will ascend to Him during a Day the extent of which is fifty thousand years.

اور میں نے کہا کہ اپنے رب سے اپنے گناہ بخشواؤ ( اور معافی مانگو ) وہ یقیناً بڑا بخشنے والا ہے ۔

And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver.

اور یہ کہ ہم میں کا ایک بیوقوف اللہ کے بارے میں خلاف حق باتیں کہا کرتا تھا ۔

And that our foolish one has been saying about Allah an excessive transgression.

بات یہ ہے کہ چند انسان بعض جنات سے پناہ طلب کیا کرتے تھے جس سے جنات اپنی سرکشی میں اور بڑھ گئے ۔

And there were men from mankind who sought refuge in men from the jinn, so they [only] increased them in burden.

جس دن آسمان پھٹ جائے گا اللہ تعالٰی کا یہ وعدہ ہو کر ہی رہنےوالا ہے ۔

The heaven will break apart therefrom; ever is His promise fulfilled.

نہیں نہیں وہ ہماری آیتوں کا مخالف ہے ۔

No! Indeed, he has been toward Our verses obstinate.

پھر لہو کا لوتھڑا ہوگیا پھر اللہ نے اسے پیدا کیا اور درست بنا دیا ۔

Then he was a clinging clot, and [ Allah ] created [his form] and proportioned [him]

بیشک نیک لوگ وہ جام پئیں گے جس کی آمیزش کافور کی ہے ۔

Indeed, the righteous will drink from a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of Kafur,

جو نذر پوری کرتے ہیں اور اس دن سے ڈرتے ہیں جس کی برائی چاروں طرف پھیل جانے والی ہے ۔

They [are those who] fulfill [their] vows and fear a Day whose evil will be widespread.

اور انہیں وہاں وہ جام پلائے جائیں گے جن کی آمیزش زنجبیل کی ہوگی ۔

And they will be given to drink a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of ginger

۔ ( کہا جائے گا ) کہ یہ ہے تمہارے اعمال کا بدلہ اور تمہاری کوشش کی قدر کی گئی ۔

[And it will be said], "Indeed, this is for you a reward, and your effort has been appreciated."

اور تم نہ چاہو گے مگر یہ کہ اللہ تعالٰی ہی چاہے بیشک اللہ تعالٰی علم والا با حکمت ہے ۔

And you do not will except that Allah wills. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.

پس اگر تم مجھ سے کوئی چال چل سکتے ہو تو چل لو ۔

So if you have a plan, then plan against Me.

بیشک فیصلہ کے دن کا وقت مقرر ہے ۔

Indeed, the Day of Judgement is an appointed time -

یہ شخص اپنے متعلقین میں ( دنیا میں ) خوش تھا ۔

Indeed, he had [once] been among his people in happiness;

کیوں نہیں حالانکہ اس کا رب اسے بخوبی دیکھ رہا تھا ۔

But yes! Indeed, his Lord was ever of him, Seeing.

پھر ان لوگوں میں سے ہو جاتا ہے جو ایمان لاتے اور ایک دوسرے کو صبر کی اور رحم کرنے کی وصیت کرتے ہیں ۔

And then being among those who believed and advised one another to patience and advised one another to compassion.

بھلا بتلا تو اگر وہ ہدایت پر ہو ۔

Have you seen if he is upon guidance

تو اپنے رب کی تسبیح کرنے لگ حمد کے ساتھ اور اس سے مغفرت کی دعا مانگ بیشک وہ بڑا ہی توبہ قبول کرنے والا ہے ۔

Then exalt [Him] with praise of your Lord and ask forgiveness of Him. Indeed, He is ever Accepting of repentance.
