پس تم اپنے رب کی کس کس سی نعمت کو جھٹلاؤ گے؟

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

گناہگار صرف حلیہ سے ہی پہچان لیے جائیں گے اور ان کی پیشانیوں کے بال اور قدم پکڑ لئے جائیں گے ۔

The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet.

پس تم اپنے رب کی کس کس نعمت کو جھٹلاؤ گے؟

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

یہ ہے وہ جہنم جسے مجرم جھوٹا جانتے تھے ۔

This is Hell, which the criminals deny.

جب قیامت قائم ہو جائے گی ۔

When the Occurrence occurs,

جس کے واقع ہونے میں کوئی جھوٹ نہیں ۔

There is, at its occurrence, no denial.

وہ پست کرنے والی اور بلند کرنے والی ہوگی ۔

It will bring down [some] and raise up [others].

جبکہ زمین زلزلہ کے ساتھ ہلا دی جائے گی ۔

When the earth is shaken with convulsion

اور پہاڑ بالکل ریزہ ریزہ کر دیئے جائیں گے ۔

And the mountains are broken down, crumbling

پھر وہ مثل پراگندہ غبار کے ہوجائیں گے ۔

And become dust dispersing.

آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ یقیناً سب اگلے اور پچھلے ۔

Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, the former and the later peoples

ضرور جمع کئے جائیں گے ایک مقرر دن کے وقت ۔

Are to be gathered together for the appointment of a known Day."

۔ ( قیامت کے ) دن تو دیکھے گا کہ مومن مردوں اور عورتوں کا نور انکے آگے آگے اور ان کے دائیں دوڑ رہا ہوگا آج تمہیں ان جنتوں کی خوشخبری ہے جنکے نیچے نہریں جاری ہیں جن میں ہمیشہ کی رہائش ہے ۔ یہ ہے بڑی کامیابی ۔

On the Day you see the believing men and believing women, their light proceeding before them and on their right, [it will be said], "Your good tidings today are [of] gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein you will abide eternally." That is what is the great attainment.

اس دن منافق مرد و عورت ایمان والوں سے کہیں گے کہ ہمارا انتظار تو کرو کہ ہم بھی تمہارے نور سے کچھ روشنی حاصل کرلیں ۔ جواب دیا جائے گا کہ تم اپنے پیچھے لوٹ جاؤ اور روشنی تلاش کرو پھر ان کے اور ان کے درمیان ایک دیوار حائل کر دی جائے گی جس میں دروازہ بھی ہوگا اس کے اندرونی حصہ میں تو رحمت ہوگی اور باہر کی طرف عذاب ہوگا ۔

On the [same] Day the hypocrite men and hypocrite women will say to those who believed, "Wait for us that we may acquire some of your light." It will be said, "Go back behind you and seek light." And a wall will be placed between them with a door, its interior containing mercy, but on the outside of it is torment.

یہ چلا چلا کر ان سے کہیں گے کہ کیا ہم تمہارے ساتھ نہ تھے وہ کہیں گے کہ ہاں تھے تو سہی لیکن تم نے اپنے آپ کو فتنہ میں پھنسا رکھا تھا اور وہ انتظار میں ہی رہے اور شک وشبہ کرتے رہے اور تمہیں تمہاری فضول تمناؤں نے دھوکے میں ہی رکھا یہاں تک کہ اللہ کا حکم آپہنچا اور تمہیں اللہ کے بارے میں دھو کہ دینے والے نے دھوکے میں ہی رکھا ۔

The hypocrites will call to the believers, "Were we not with you?" They will say, "Yes, but you afflicted yourselves and awaited [misfortune for us] and doubted, and wishful thinking deluded you until there came the command of Allah . And the Deceiver deceived you concerning Allah .

الغرض آج تم سے نہ فدیہ ( اور نہ بدلہ ) قبول کیا جائے گا اور نہ کافروں سے تم ( سب ) کا ٹھکانا دوزخ ہے وہی تمہاری رفیق ہے اور وہ برا ٹھکانا ہے ۔

So today no ransom will be taken from you or from those who disbelieved. Your refuge is the Fire. It is most worthy of you, and wretched is the destination.

جس دن تم سب کو اس جمع ہونے کے دن جمع کرے گا وہی دن ہے ہار جیت کا اور جو شخص اللہ پر ایمان لا کر نیک عمل کرے اللہ اس سے اس کی برائیاں دور کر دے گا اور اسے جنتوں میں داخل کرے گا جن کے نیچے نہریں بہہ رہی ہیں جن میں وہ ہمیشہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے یہی بہت بڑی کامیابی ہے ۔

The Day He will assemble you for the Day of Assembly - that is the Day of Deprivation. And whoever believes in Allah and does righteousness - He will remove from him his misdeeds and admit him to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment.

جس دن پنڈلی کھول دی جائے گی اور سجدے کے لئے بلائے جائیں گے تو ( سجدہ ) نہ کر سکیں گے ۔

The Day the shin will be uncovered and they are invited to prostration but the disbelievers will not be able,

نگاہیں نیچی ہوں گی ان پر ذلت و خواری چھا رہی ہوگی حالانکہ یہ سجدے کے لئے ( اس وقت بھی ) بلائے جاتے تھے جبکہ صحیح سلالم تھے ۔

Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. And they used to be invited to prostration while they were sound.

ثابت ہونے والی ۔

The Inevitable Reality -

ثابت ہونے والی کیا ہے؟

What is the Inevitable Reality?

تجھے کیا معلوم کہ وہ ثابت شدہ کیا ہے؟

And what can make you know what is the Inevitable Reality?

اس کھڑکا دینے والی کو ثمود اور عاد نے جھٹلا دیا تھا ۔

Thamud and 'Aad denied the Striking Calamity.

پس جبکہ صور میں ایک پھونک پھونکی جائے گی ۔

Then when the Horn is blown with one blast

اور زمین اور پہاڑ اٹھا لئے جائیں گے اور ایک ہی چوٹ میں ریزہ ریزہ کر دیئے جائیں گے ۔

And the earth and the mountains are lifted and leveled with one blow -

اس دن ہو پڑنے والی ( قیامت ) ہو پڑے گی ۔

Then on that Day, the Resurrection will occur,

اور آسمان پھٹ جائے گا اوراس دن بالکل بودا ہو جائے گا ۔

And the heaven will split [open], for that Day it is infirm.

اس کے کناروں پر فرشتے ہونگے اور تیرے پروردگار کا عرش اس دن آٹھ ( فرشتے ) اپنے اوپر اٹھائے ہوئے ہونگے ۔

And the angels are at its edges. And there will bear the Throne of your Lord above them, that Day, eight [of them].

ایک سوال کرنے والے نے اس عذاب کا سوال کیا جو واضح ہونے والا ہے ۔

A supplicant asked for a punishment bound to happen

کافروں پر ، جسے کوئی ہٹانے والا نہیں ۔

To the disbelievers; of it there is no preventer.
