That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected.
Kay apni chori hui duniya mein jaa ker nek aemaal ker loon hergiz aisa nahi hoga yeh to sirf aik qol hai jiss ka yeh qaeel hai inn kay pas-e-pusht to aik hijab hai inn kay doobara ji uthney kay din tak.
उस में अच्छा कर्म करूँ।" कुछ नहीं, यह तो बस एक (व्यर्थ) बात है जो वह कहेगा और उन के पीछे से लेकर उस दिन तक एक रोक लगी हुई है, जब वे दोबारा उठाए जाएँगे
So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another.
Pus jab kay soor phoonk diya jayega uss din na to aapas kay rishtay hi rahen gay na aapas ki pooch gooch.
फिर जब सूर (नरसिंघा) में फूँक मारी जाएगी तो उस दिन उन के बीच रिश्ते-नाते शेष न रहेंगे, और न वे एक-दूसरे को पूछेंगे
And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful.
Jin ki tarazoo ka palla bhari hogaya woh to nijat walay hogaye.
फिर जिन के पलड़े भारी हुए तॊ वही हैं जो सफल।
But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally.
Aur jin kay tarazoo ka palla halka hogaya yeh hain woh jinhon ney apna nuksan aap ker liya jo hamesha kay liye jahannum wasil huye.
रहे वे लोग जिन के पलड़े हल्के हुए, तो वही हैं जिन्होंने अपने आप को घाटे में डाला। वे सदैव जहन्नम में रहेंगे
The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles.
Unn kay chehron ko aag jhulasti rahey gi aur woh wahan bad-shakal banay huye hongay.
आग उन के चेहरों को झुलसा देगी और उस में उन के मुँह विकृत हो रहे होंगे
[It will be said]. "Were not My verses recited to you and you used to deny them?"
Kiya meri aayaten tumharay samney tilawat nahi ki jati thin? Phir bhi tum enhen jhutlatay thay.
(कहा जाएगा,) "क्या तुम्हें मेरी आयातें सुनाई नहीं जाती थी, तो तुम उन्हें झुठलाते थे?"
They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray.
Kahen gay kay aey perwerdigar! Humari bad-bakhti hum per ghalib aagaee ( waqaee ) hum thay hi gumrah.
वे कहेंगे, "ऐ हमारे रब! हमारा दुर्भाग्य हम पर प्रभावी हुआ और हम भटके हुए लोग थे
Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers."
Aey humaray perwerdigar! Humen yahan say nijat dey agar abb hi hum aisa hi keren to be-shak hum zalim hain.
हमारे रब! हमें यहाँ से निकाल दे! फिर हम दोबारा ऐसा करें तो निश्चय ही हम अत्याचारी होंगे।"
He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me.
Allah Taalaa farmaye ga phitkaray huye yahin paray raho aur mujh say kalaam na kero.
वह कहेगा, "फिटकारे हुए तिरस्कृत, इसी में पड़े रहो और मुझ से बात न करो
Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.'
Meray bando ki aik jamat thi jo barbar yehi kehti rahi kay aey humaray perwerdigar! Hum eman laa chukay hain tum humen bakhsh aur hum per reham farma to sab meharbano say ziyada meharbaan hai.
मेरे बन्दों में कुछ लोग थे, जो कहते थे, हमारे रब! हम ईमान ले आए। अतः तू हमें क्षमा कर दे और हम पर दया कर। तू सबसे अच्छा दया करने वाला है
But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them.
( lekin ) tum enhen mazaq mein hi uratay rahey yahan tak kay ( iss mashghalay ney ) tum ko meri yaad ( bhi ) bhula di aur tum inn say mazaq hi kertay rahey.
तो तुम ने उन का उपहास किया, यहाँ तक कि उन के कारण तुम मेरी याद को भुला बैठे और तुम उन पर हँसते रहे
Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success]."
Mein ney aaj enhen inn kay uss sabar ka badla dey diya hai kay woh khatir khua apni murad ko phonch chukay hain.
आज मैंने उन के धैर्य का यह बदला प्रदान किया कि वही है जो सफलता को प्राप्त हुए।"
[ Allah ] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?"
Allah Taalaa daryaft farmaye ga kay tum zamin mein ba-aitbar barson ki ginti kiss qadar rahey?
वह कहेगाः “तुम धरती में कितने वर्ष रहे”?
They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate."
Woh kahen gay aik din ya aik din say bhi kum ginti ginnay walon say bhi pooch lijiye.
वॆ कहेंगेः , "एक दिन या एक दिन का कुछ भाग। गणना करने वालों से पूछ लीजिए।?"
He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known.
Allah Taalaa farmaye ga fil-waqey tum wahan boht hi kum rahey ho aey kaash! Tum issay pehaly hi say jaan letay?
वह कहेगा, "तुम ठहरे थोड़े ही, क्या अच्छा होता तुम जानते होते!
Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?"
Kiya tum yeh gumaan kiye huye ho kay hum ney tumhen yunhi beykaar peda kiya hai aur yeh kay tum humari taraf lotaye hi na jao gay.
तो क्या तुम ने यह समझा था कि हम ने तुम्हें व्यर्थ पैदा किया है और यह कि तुम्हें हमारी और लौटना नहीं है?"
So exalted is Allah , the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne.
Allah Taalaa sacha badshah hai woh bari bulandi wala hai uss ka siwa koi mabood nahi wohi buzurg arsh ka malik hai.
तो सर्वोच्च है अल्लाह, सच्चा सम्राट! उस के सिवा कोई पूज्य-प्रभु नहीं, स्वामी है महिमाशाली सिंहासन का
And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed.
Jo shaks Allah kay sath kissi doosray mabood ko pukaray jiss ki koi daleel uss kay pass nahi pus uss ka hisab to uss kay rab kay upper hi hai. Be-shak kafir log nijat say mehroom hain.
और जो कोई अल्लाह के साथ किसी दूसरे पूज्य को पुकारे, जिस के लिए उस के पास कोई प्रमाम नहीं, तो बस उस का हिसाब उस के रब के पास है। निश्चय ही इनकार करने वाले कभी सफल नहीं होंगे
And, [O Muhammad], say, "My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful."
Aur kaho kay aey meray rab! Tu bakhsh aur reham ker aur tu sab meharbano say behtar meharbani kerney wala hai.
और कहो, "मेरे रब! मुझे क्षमा कर दे और दया कर। तू तो सबसे अच्छा दया करने वाला है।"
