And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant [Muhammad], then produce a surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah , if you should be truthful.
Hum ney jo kuch apney banday per utara hai uss mein agar tumhen shak ho aur tum sachay ho to iss jaisi aik surat to bana lao tumhen ikhtiyar hai kay Allah Taalaa kay siwa apney madadgaron ko bhi bula lo.
अगर तुम इस कलाम के मुतअल्लिक़ शक में हो जो हमने अपने बंदे के ऊपर उतारा है, तो लाओ उसके मानिंद एक सूरत और बुला लो अपने हिमायतियों को भी अल्लाह के सिवा, अगर तुम सच्चे हो।
So woe to those who write the "scripture" with their own hands, then say, "This is from Allah ," in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn.
Unn logon kay liye well hai jo apni haathon ki likhi hui kitab ko Allah Taalaa ki taraf ki kehtay hain aur iss tarag duniya kamatay hain inn ki haathon ki likhaee ko aur inn ki kamaee ko well ( halakat ) aur afsos hai.
पस ख़राबी है उन लोगों के लिए जो अपने हाथ से किताब लिखते हैं फिर कहते हैं कि यह अल्लाह की जानिब से है; ताकि उसके ज़रिए थोड़ी सी पूंजी हासिल करें, पस ख़राबी है उस चीज़ की बदौलत जो उनके हाथों ने लिखी, और उनके लिए ख़राबी है अपनी इस कमाई से।

पस ख़राबी है उन लोगों के लिए जो अपने हाथ से किताब लिखते हैं फिर कहते हैं कि यह अल्लाह की जानिब से है; ताकि उसके ज़रिए थोड़ी सी पूंजी हासिल करें, पस ख़राबी है उस चीज़ की बदौलत जो उनके हाथों ने लिखी, और उनके लिए ख़राबी है अपनी इस कमाई से।
Those will have a share of what they have earned, and Allah is swift in account.
Yeh woh log hain jin kay liye unn kay aemaal ka hissa hai aur Allah Taalaa jalad hisab lenay wala hai.
उन्हीं लोगों के लिए हिस्सा है उनके किये का, और अल्लाह जल्द हिसाब लेने वाला है।
And their prophet said to them, "Indeed, a sign of his kingship is that the chest will come to you in which is assurance from your Lord and a remnant of what the family of Moses and the family of Aaron had left, carried by the angels. Indeed in that is a sign for you, if you are believers."
Unn kay nabi ney unhen phir kaha kay uss ki badshaat ki zahiri nishani yeh hai kay tumharay pass woh sandooq aa jaye ga jiss mein tumharay rab ki taraf say dil jamaee aur aal-e-musa aur aal-e-haroon ka baqiya tarqa hai farishtay ussay utha ker layen gay. Yaqeenan yeh to tumharay liye khuli daleel hai agar tum eman laye ho.
और उनके नबी ने उनसे कहाः उस तालूत के बादशाह होने की निशानी यह है कि तुम्हारे पास वह सन्दूक़ आ जाएगा जिसमें तुम्हारे रब की तरफ़ से तुम्हारे लिए तसकीन (का सामान) है और आले-मूसा और आले-हारून की छोड़ी हुई यादगारें हैं, उस सन्दूक़ को फ़रिश्ते उठाए हुए होंगे, उसमें तुम्हारे लिए बड़ी निशानी है अगर तुम यक़ीन रखने वाले हो।
O you who have believed, do not invalidate your charities with reminders or injury as does one who spends his wealth [only] to be seen by the people and does not believe in Allah and the Last Day. His example is like that of a [large] smooth stone upon which is dust and is hit by a downpour that leaves it bare. They are unable [to keep] anything of what they have earned. And Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.
Aey eman walon apni kheyraat ko ehsan jata ker aur ezza phoncha ker barbad na kero! Jiss tarah woh shaks apna maal logon kay dikhaway kay liye kharach keray aur na Allah Taalaa per eman rakhay na qayamat per uss ki misal uss saaf pathar ki tarah hai jiss per thori si mitti ho phir uss per zor daar meenh barsay aur woh issay bilkul saaf aur sakht chor dey inn riya kaaron ko apni kamaee mein say kuch cheez haath nahi lagti aur Allah Taalaa kafiron ki qom ko ( seedhi ) raah nahi dikhata.
ऐ ईमान वालो! एहसान रख कर और सता कर अपने सदक़े को ज़ाया न करो, उस इंसान की तरह जो अपना माल दिखावे के लिए ख़र्च करता है और अल्लाह पर और आख़िरत के दिन पर ईमान नहीं रखता, पस उसकी मिसाल ऐसी है जैसे एक चट्टान हो जिस पर कुछ मिट्टी हो, फिर उस पर ज़ोर की बारिश पड़े और उसको बिल्कुल साफ़ कर दे, ऐसे लोगों को अपनी कमाई कुछ भी हाथ न लगेगी, और अल्लाह मुनकिर लोगों को राह नहीं दिखाता।
And if you are killed in the cause of Allah or die - then forgiveness from Allah and mercy are better than whatever they accumulate [in this world].
Qasam hai agar Allah Taalaa ki raah mein shaheed kiye jao ya apni maut maro to be-shak Allah Taalaa ki bakshish-o-rehmat uss say behtar hai jisay yeh jama ker rahey hain.
और अगर तुम अल्लाह की राह में मारे जाओ या मर जाओ तो अल्लाह की मग़्फ़िरत और रहमत उससे बेहतर है जिसको वे जमा कर रहे हैं।
For men is a share of what the parents and close relatives leave, and for women is a share of what the parents and close relatives leave, be it little or much - an obligatory share.
Maa baap aur khawesh-o-aqarib kay tarkay mein mardon ka hissa bhi hai aur aurton ka bhi. ( jo maal maa baap aur khawesh-o-aqarib chor maren ) khuwa woh maal kum ho ya ziyada ( uss mein ) hissa muqarrar kiya hua hai.
मर्दों का भी हिस्सा है माँ-बाप और रिश्तेदारों के तर्के में से, और औरतों का भी माँ-बाप और रिश्तेदारों के तर्के में से हिस्सा है, थोड़ा हो या ज़्यादा हो, एक मुक़र्रर किया हुआ हिस्सा।
For men is a share of what the parents and close relatives leave, and for women is a share of what the parents and close relatives leave, be it little or much - an obligatory share.
Maa baap aur khawesh-o-aqarib kay tarkay mein mardon ka hissa bhi hai aur aurton ka bhi. ( jo maal maa baap aur khawesh-o-aqarib chor maren ) khuwa woh maal kum ho ya ziyada ( uss mein ) hissa muqarrar kiya hua hai.
मर्दों का भी हिस्सा है माँ-बाप और रिश्तेदारों के तर्के में से, और औरतों का भी माँ-बाप और रिश्तेदारों के तर्के में से हिस्सा है, थोड़ा हो या ज़्यादा हो, एक मुक़र्रर किया हुआ हिस्सा।
And do not wish for that by which Allah has made some of you exceed others. For men is a share of what they have earned, and for women is a share of what they have earned. And ask Allah of his bounty. Indeed Allah is ever, of all things, Knowing.
Aur uss cheez ki aarzoo na kero jiss kay baees Allah Taalaa ney tum mein say baaz ko baaz per buzrugi di hai. Mardon kay uss mein say hissa hai jo unhon ney kamaya aur aurton kay liye uss mein say hain jo unhon ney kamaya aur Allah Taalaa say uss ka fazal maango yaqeenan Allah her cheez ka janney wala hai.
और तुम उस चीज़ की तमन्ना न करो जिसमें अल्लाह ने तुम में से एक को दूसरे पर बड़ाई दी है, मर्दों के लिए एक हिस्सा है अपनी कमाई का और औरतों के लिए एक हिस्सा है अपनी कमाई का, और अल्लाह से उसका फ़ज़्ल माँगो, बेशक अल्लाह हर चीज़ का इल्म रखने वाला है।
But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission.
So qasam hai teray perwerdigar ki! Yeh momin nahi ho saktay jab tak kay tamam aapas kay ikhtilaf mein aap ko haakim na maan len phir jo faisla aap inn mein ker den inn say apney dil mein kissi tarah ki tangi aur na khushi na payen aur farmanbardari kay sath qabool kerlen.
पस आपके रब की क़सम! वे लोग कभी ईमान लाने वाले नहीं हो सकते जब तक वे अपने आपस के झगड़े में आपको फ़ैसला करने वाला न मान लें, फिर जो फ़ैसला आप करें उस पर अपने दिलों में कोई तंगी न पाएं और उसको ख़ुशी से क़बूल कर लें।
Say, "What thing is greatest in testimony?" Say, " Allah is witness between me and you. And this Qur'an was revealed to me that I may warn you thereby and whomever it reaches. Do you [truly] testify that with Allah there are other deities?" Say, "I will not testify [with you]." Say, "Indeed, He is but one God, and indeed, I am free of what you associate [with Him]."
Aap kahiye kay sab say bari cheez gawahi denay kay liye kaun hai aap kahiye kay meray aur tumharay darmiyan Allah gawah hai aur meray pass yeh quran bator wahee kay bheja gaya hai takay mein iss quran kay zariye say tum ko aur jiss ko yeh quran phonchay unn sab ko daraon kiya tum sach much yehi gawahi do gay kay Allah Taalaa kay sath kuch aur mabood bhi hain aap keh dijiye kay mein to gawahee nahi deta. Aap farma dijiye kay bus woh to aik hi mabood hai aur be-shak mein tumharay shirk say bey zaar hun.
पूछिए कि सबसे बड़ा गवाह कौन है, कह दीजिए कि अल्लाह है जो मेरे और तुम्हारे दरमियान गवाह है और मुझ पर यह क़ुरआन उतारा गया ताकि मैं तुमको उसके ज़रिए से ख़बरदार करता रहूँ और उसको जिस तक यह पहुँचे, क्या तुम इसकी गवाही देते हो कि अल्लाह के साथ कुछ और माबूद भी हैं? कह दें कि मैं इसकी गवाही नहीं देता, नीज़ कह दें कि वह तो बस एक ही माबूद है और मैं बरी हूँ तुम्हारे शिर्क से।
And when he saw the sun rising, he said, "This is my lord; this is greater." But when it set, he said, "O my people, indeed I am free from what you associate with Allah .
Phir jab aftab ko dekha chamakta hua to farmaya kay yeh mera rab hai yeh to sab say bara hai phir jab woh bhi ghuroob hogaya to aap ney farmaya be-shak mein tumharay shirk say bey zaar hun.
फिर जब सूरज को चमकते हुए देखा तो कहा कि यह मेरा रब है यह सबसे बड़ा है, फिर जब वह भी डूब गया तो उन्होंने कहा कि ऐ मेरी क़ौम! मैं उस शिर्क से दूर हूँ जो तुम करते हो।
And for all are degrees from what they have done. And your Lord is not unaware of what they do.
Aur her aik kay liye unn kay aemaal kay sabab darjay milen gay aur aap ka rab inn kay aemaal say bey khabar nahi hai.
और हर शख़्स का दर्जा है उसके अमल के लिहाज़ से, और आपका रब लोगों के आमाल से बेख़बर नहीं।
And if they deny you, [O Muhammad], then say, "For me are my deeds, and for you are your deeds. You are disassociated from what I do, and I am disassociated from what you do."
Aur agar aap ko jhutlatay rahen to yeh keh dijiye kay meray liye mera amal aur tumhara liye tumhara amal tum meray amal say bari ho aur mein tumharay amal say bari hun.
और अगर वे आपको झुठलाते हैं तो कह दीजिए कि मेरा अमल मेरे लिए है और तुम्हारा अमल तुम्हारे लिए, तुम उससे बरी हो जो मैं करता हूँ और मैं भी उससे बरी हूँ जो तुम कर रहे हो।
Then will come after that seven difficult [years] which will consume what you saved for them, except a little from which you will store.
Iss kay baad saat saal nihayat sakht qehat kay aayen gay woh iss ghallay ko kha jayen gay jo tum ney unn kay liye zakheera rakh chora tha siwaye uss thoray say kay jo tum rol rakhtay ho.
फिर उसके बाद सात सख़्त साल आएंगे, उस ज़माने में वह ग़ल्ला खा लिया जाएगा जो तुम उस वक़्त के लिए जमा करोगे, सिवाए थोड़ा-सा जो तुम महफ़ूज़ कर लोगे।
And they assign to what they do not know a portion of that which We have provided them. By Allah , you will surely be questioned about what you used to invent.
Aur jisay jantay boojhtay bhi nahi uss ka hissa humari di hui rozi mein say muqarrar kertay hain wallah tumharay iss bohtan ka sawal tum say zaroor hi kiya jayega.
और यह लोग हमारी दी हुई चीज़ों में से उनका हिस्सा लगाते हैं जिनके मुतअल्लिक़ उनको कुछ इल्म नहीं, अल्लाह की क़सम! जो झूठ तुम बाँध रहे हो उसके बारे में ज़रूर तुमसे पूछताछ होगी।
And indeed, for you in grazing livestock is a lesson. We give you drink from what is in their bellies - between excretion and blood - pure milk, palatable to drinkers.
Tumharay liye to chopayon mein bhi bari ibrat hai kay hum tumhen uss kay pait mein jo kuch hai ussi mein say gobar aur lahoo kay darmiyan say khalis doodh pilatay hain jo peenay walon kay liye sehta pachta hai.
और बेशक तुम्हारे लिए चौपायों में सबक़ है, हम उनके पेटों के अंदर गोबर और ख़ून के दरमियान से तुमको ऐसा ख़ालिस दूध पिलाते हैं जो ख़ुशगवार है पीने वालों के लिए।
And be patient, [O Muhammad], and your patience is not but through Allah . And do not grieve over them and do not be in distress over what they conspire.
Aap sabar keren baghair tofiq-e-elahi kay aap sabar ker hi nahi saktay aur inn kay haal per ranjeeda na hon aur jo makar-o-faraib yeh kertay rahey hain unn say tang dil na hon.
और सब्र कीजिए, और आपका सब्र करना अल्लाह ही की तौफ़ीक़ से है, और आप उन पर ग़म न करें और जो कुछ तदबीरें वे कर रहे हैं उससे तंगदिल न हों।
Or [any] creation of that which is great within your breasts." And they will say, "Who will restore us?" Say, "He who brought you forth the first time." Then they will nod their heads toward you and say, "When is that?" Say, "Perhaps it will be soon -
Ya koi aur aisi khulqat jo tumharay dilon mein boht hi sakht maloom ho phir woh yeh poochen kay kaun hai jo doobara humari zindagi lotaye? Aap jawab dey den kay wohi Allah jiss ney tumhen awal martaba peda kiya iss per woh apney sir hila hila ker aap say daryaft keren gay kay acha yeh hai kab? To aap jawab dey den kay kiya ajab kay woh ( sa’at ) qareeb hi aan lagi ho.
या और कोई चीज़ जो तुम्हारे ख़्याल में उनसे भी ज़्यादा मुश्किल हो, फिर वे कहेंगे कि वह कौन है जो हमको दोबारा ज़िंदा करेगा, आप कहिए कि वही जिसने तुमको पहली बार पैदा किया है, फिर वे आपके आगे अपने सर हिलाएंगे और कहेंगे कि यह कब होगा, कह दीजिए कि अजब नहीं कि उसका वक़्त क़रीब आ पहुँचा हो।
