But he has not broken through the difficult pass.
So issy na hosakha kay ghatti mein dakhil hota
किन्तु वह तो हुमक कर घाटी में से गुज़र ही नहीं और (न उस ने मुक्ति का मार्ग पाया)
And what can make you know what is [breaking through] the difficult pass?
Aur kiya samjha ky ghatti hy kiya?
और तुम्हें क्या मालूम कि वह घाटी क्या है!
It is the freeing of a slave
Kisi garden ( gulam londi ) ko azad kerna
किसी गरदन का छुड़ाना
Or feeding on a day of severe hunger
ya bhok waly din khana khilana
या भूख के दिन खाना खिलाना
An orphan of near relationship
Kisi reshtydar yateem ko
किसी निकटवर्ती अनाथ को,
Or a needy person in misery
Ya khahsaar miskeen ko
या धूल-धूसरित मुहताज को;
And then being among those who believed and advised one another to patience and advised one another to compassion.
Phir unlogon mein say hojata jo iman laey aur ik dosry ko sabar ki aurreham kerney ki wasiyat kerty hein
फिर यह कि वह उन लोगों में से हो जो ईमान लाए और जिन्होंने एक-दूसरे को धैर्य की ताकीद की , और एक-दूसरे को दया की ताकीद की
Indeed, your efforts are diverse.
Yaqeenan tumhari koshish mukhtalif qisim ki hai
कि तुम्हारा प्रयास भिन्न-भिन्न है
As for he who gives and fears Allah
Jiss nay diya ( Allah ki rah mein ) aur dara ( apnay rab say )
तो जिस किसी ने दिया और डर रखा,
And believes in the best [reward],
Aur nek baat ki tasdeq kerta rahega
और अच्छी चीज़ की पुष्टि की,
We will ease him toward ease.
To hum bhi usko aasan rasty ki saholat dein gay
हम उस सहज ढंग से उस चीज का पात्र बना देंगे, जो सहज और मृदुल (सुख-साध्य) है
Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge?
Kiya us nay tujhy yateem paker jagah nahi di?
क्या ऐसा नहीं कि उस ने तुम्हें अनाथ पाया तो ठिकाना दिया?
And He found you lost and guided [you],
Aur tujhay raah bhola paker hidayat nahi di?
और तुम्हें मार्ग से अपरिचित पाया तो मार्ग दिखाया?
And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient.
Aur tujhy na-daar paaker to-nagar nahi banadiya?
और तुम्हें निर्धन पाया तो समृद्ध कर दिया?
So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him].
Pus yateem per to bhi sakhti na kiya ker
अतः जो अनाथ हो उसे मत दबाना,
And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him].
Aur na sawal kernay waly ko dant dapat
और जो माँगता हो उसे न झिझकना,
But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it].
Aur apnay rab ki nematon ko biyan kerta reh
और जो तुम्हें रब की अनुकम्पा है, उसे बयान करते रहो
Nor did those who were given the Scripture become divided until after there had come to them clear evidence.
Ehl-e-kitab apnay pass zahir daleel ajanay kay baad hi ( ikhtilaaf mein par ker ) mutafarriq hogaey
हालाँकि जिन्हें किताब दी गई थी। वे इस के पश्चात फूट में पड़े कि उन के पास स्पष्ट प्रमाण आ चुका था
And they were not commanded except to worship Allah , [being] sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and to give zakah. And that is the correct religion.
Unhein isskay siwa koi hokum nahi diya gaya kay sirf Allah ki ibadat kerein ussi kay liey deen ko khalis rakhein.ibraheem hanif kay deen per aur salat ko qaem rakhein aur zakat dety rahen yehi hai deen sedhi millat ka
और उन्हें आदेश भी बस यही दिया गया था कि वे अल्लाह की बन्दगी करे निष्ठा एवं विनयशीलता को उस के लिए विशिष्ट करके, बिलकुल एकाग्र होकर, और नमाज़ की पाबन्दी करें और ज़कात दे। और यही है सत्यवादी समुदाय का धर्म
Their reward with Allah will be gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allah being pleased with them and they with Him. That is for whoever has feared his Lord.
Inn ka badla unkay rab kay pass hameshgi wohi jannaten hein jinkay neechy nehrein beh rahi hein jin mein who hamesha hamesha rahein gay.Allah Taalaa unsy razi hua aur yeh uss say razi huye.yeh hai uskay liey jo apnay perwardigar say daray.
उन का बदला उन के अपने रब के पास सदाबहार बाग़ हैं, जिन के नीचे नहरें बह रही होंगी। उन में वे सदैव रहेंगे। अल्लाह उन से राज़ी हुआ और वे उस से राज़ी हुए। यह कुछ उस के लिए है, जो अपने रब से डरा
Indeed, mankind is in loss,
Beyshak ( bil-yaqeen ) insane sir ta sir nuqsan mein hay
कि वास्तव में मनुष्य घाटे में है,
Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.
Siwaey un logon kay jo eman laey aur nek amal kiey aur ( jinhon nay ) apas mein haq ki waseeyat ki aur aik doosry ko sabar ki naseehat ki.
सिवाय उन लोगों के जो ईमान लाए और अच्छे कर्म किए और एक-दूसरे को हक़ की ताकीद की, और एक-दूसरे को धैर्य की ताकीद की
For the accustomed security of the Quraysh -
Quresh kay manoos kerney kay liye.
कितना है क़ुरैश को लगाए और परचाए रखना,
Their accustomed security [in] the caravan of winter and summer -
( yanni ) unhen jary aur garmi kay safar say manoos kerney kay liey. ( uskay shukriey main ) .
लगाए और परचाए रखना उन्हें जाड़े और गर्मी की यात्रा से
Let them worship the Lord of this House,
Pus unhen chahey kay issi gher kay rab ki ibadat kerty rahen.
अतः उन्हें चाहिए कि इस घर (काबा) के रब की बन्दगी करे,
Who has fed them, [saving them] from hunger and made them safe, [saving them] from fear.
Jiss nay inhen bhook mein khana diya aur darr ( aur khof ) mein aman ( o-aman ) diya.
जिस ने उन्हें खिलाकर भूख से बचाया और निश्चिन्तता प्रदान करके भय से बचाया
