تاکہ تم ان کی پیٹھ پر جم کر سوار ہوا کرو پھر اپنے رب کی نعمت کو یاد کرو جب اس پر ٹھیک ٹھاک بیٹھ جاؤ اور کہو پاک ذات ہے اس کی جس نے اسےہمارے بس میں کر دیا حالانکہ ہمیں اسے قابو کرنے کی طاقت نہ تھی ۔

That you may settle yourselves upon their backs and then remember the favor of your Lord when you have settled upon them and say. "Exalted is He who has subjected this to us, and we could not have [otherwise] subdued it.

اور بالیقین ہم اپنے رب کی طرف لوٹ کر جانے والے ہیں ۔

And indeed we, to our Lord, will [surely] return."

اور ہم نے انسان کو اپنے ماں باپ کے ساتھ حسن سلوک کرنے کا حکم دیا ہے اس کی ماں نے اسے تکلیف جھیل کر پیٹ میں رکھا اور تکلیف برداشت کرکے اسے جنا ۔ اس کے حمل کا اور اس کے دودھ چھڑانے کا زمانہ تیس مہینے کا ہے یہاں تک کہ جب وہ اپنی پختگی اور چالیس سال کی عمر کو پہنچا تو کہنے لگا اے میرے پروردگار مجھے توفیق دے کہ میں تیری اس نعمت کا شکر بجا لاؤ ں جو تو نے مجھ پر اور میرے ماں باپ پر انعام کی ہے اور یہ کہ میں ایسے نیک عمل کروں جن سے تو خوش ہو جائے اور تو میری اولاد کو بھی صالح بنا ۔ میں تیری طرف رجوع کرتا ہوں اور میں مسلمانوں میں سے ہوں ۔

And We have enjoined upon man, to his parents, good treatment. His mother carried him with hardship and gave birth to him with hardship, and his gestation and weaning [period] is thirty months. [He grows] until, when he reaches maturity and reaches [the age of] forty years, he says, "My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to work righteousness of which You will approve and make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims."

تو جب کافروں سے تمہاری مڈ بھڑ ہو تو گردنوں پر وار مارو ۔ جب ان کو اچھی طرح کچل ڈالو تو اب خوب مضبوط قیدو بند سے گرفتار کرو ( پھر اختیار ہے ) کہ خواہ احسان رکھ کر چھوڑ دو یا فدیہ لے کر تا وقتیکہ لڑائی اپنے ہتھیا ر رکھ دے ۔ یہی حکم ہے اور اگر اللہ چاہتا تو ( خود ) ہی ان سے بدلہ لے لیتا لیکن ( اس کا منشا یہ ہے ) کہ تم میں سے ایک کا امتحان دوسرے کے ذریعہ سے لے لے جو لوگ اللہ کی راہ میں شہید کر دیے جاتے ہیں اللہ ان کے اعمال ہرگز ضائع نہ کرے گا ۔

So when you meet those who disbelieve [in battle], strike [their] necks until, when you have inflicted slaughter upon them, then secure their bonds, and either [confer] favor afterwards or ransom [them] until the war lays down its burdens. That [is the command]. And if Allah had willed, He could have taken vengeance upon them [Himself], but [He ordered armed struggle] to test some of you by means of others. And those who are killed in the cause of Allah - never will He waste their deeds.

فرمان کا بجا لانا اور اچھی بات کا کہنا پھر جب کام مقرر ہو جائے تو اگر اللہ کے ساتھ سچے رہیں تو ان کے لئے بہتری ہے ۔

Obedience and good words. And when the matter [of fighting] was determined, if they had been true to Allah , it would have been better for them.

کیا یہ قرآن میں غورو فکر نہیں کرتے؟ یا ان کے دلوں پر ان کے تالے لگ گئے ہیں ۔

Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an, or are there locks upon [their] hearts?

اے ایمان والو! اللہ کی اطاعت کرو اور رسول کا کہا مانو اور اپنے اعمال کو غارت نہ کرو ۔

O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and do not invalidate your deeds.

تاکہ ( اے مسلمانو ) تم اللہ اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان لاؤ اور اس کی مدد کرو اور اس کا ادب کرو اور اللہ کی پاکی بیان کرو صبح و شام ۔

That you [people] may believe in Allah and His Messenger and honor him and respect the Prophet and exalt Allah morning and afternoon.

اور اگر مسلمانوں کی دو جماعتیں آپس میں لڑ پڑیں تو ان میں میل ملاپ کرا دیا کرو پھر اگر ان دونوں میں سے ایک جماعت دوسری جماعت پر زیادتی کرے تو تم ( سب ) اس گروہ سے جو زیادتی کرتا ہے لڑو ۔ یہاں تک کہ وہ اللہ کے حکم کی طرف لوٹ آئے اگر لوٹ آئے تو پھر انصاف کے ساتھ صلح کرا دو اور عدل کرو بیشک اللہ تعالٰی انصاف کرنے والوں سے محبت کرتا ہے ۔

And if two factions among the believers should fight, then make settlement between the two. But if one of them oppresses the other, then fight against the one that oppresses until it returns to the ordinance of Allah . And if it returns, then make settlement between them in justice and act justly. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.

۔ ( یاد رکھو ) سارے مسلمان بھائی بھائی ہیں پس اپنے دو بھائیوں میں ملاپ کرا دیا کرو اور اللہ سے ڈرتے رہو تاکہ تم پر رحم کیا جائے ۔

The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy.

اور ہر چیز کو ہم نے جوڑا جوڑا پیدا کیا ہے تاکہ تم نصیحت حاصل کرو ۔

And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember.

اور اللہ کے ساتھ کسی اور کو معبود نہ ٹھہراؤ بیشک میں تمہیں اس کی طرف سے کھلا ڈرانے والا ہوں ۔

And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner.

میں نے جنات اور انسانوں کو محض اس لئے پیدا کیا ہے کہ وہ صرف میری عبادت کریں ۔

And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.

پس کیا تم اس بات سے تعجب کرتے ہو؟

Then at this statement do you wonder?

اور ہنس رہے ہو؟ روتے نہیں؟

And you laugh and do not weep

۔ ( بلکہ ) تم کھیل رہے ہو ۔

While you are proudly sporting?

اب اللہ کے سامنے سجدے کرو اور ( اسی کی ) عبادت کرو ۔

So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him].

انصاف کے ساتھ وزن کو ٹھیک رکھو اور تول میں کم نہ دو ۔

And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance.

پس اپنے بہت بڑے رب کے نام کی تسبیح کیا کرو ۔

So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great.

اللہ پر اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان لے آؤ اور اس مال میں سے خرچ کرو جس میں اللہ نے تمہیں ( دوسروں کا ) جانشین بنایا ہے پس تم میں سے جو ایمان لائیں اور خیرات کریں انہیں بہت بڑا ثواب ملے گا ۔

Believe in Allah and His Messenger and spend out of that in which He has made you successors. For those who have believed among you and spent, there will be a great reward.

تم اللہ پر ایمان کیوں نہیں لاتے؟ حالانکہ خود رسول تمہیں اپنے رب پر ایمان لانے کی دعوت دے رہا ہے اور اگر تم مومن ہو تو وہ تم سے مضبوط عہد و پیمان بھی لے چکا ہے ۔

And why do you not believe in Allah while the Messenger invites you to believe in your Lord and He has taken your covenant, if you should [truly] be believers?

کیا اب تک ایمان والوں کے لئے وقت نہیں آیا کہ ان کے دل ذکر الٰہی سے اور جو حق اتر چکا ہے اس سے نرم ہوجائیں اور ان کی طرح نہ ہوجائیں جنہیں ان سے پہلے کتاب دی گئی تھی پھر جب ان پر ایک زمانہ دراز گزر گیا تو ان کے دل سخت ہوگئے اور ان میں بہت سے فاسق ہیں ۔

Has the time not come for those who have believed that their hearts should become humbly submissive at the remembrance of Allah and what has come down of the truth? And let them not be like those who were given the Scripture before, and a long period passed over them, so their hearts hardened; and many of them are defiantly disobedient.

یقین مانو کہ اللہ ہی زمین کو اس کی موت کے بعد زندہ کر دیتا ہے ، ہم نے تو تمہارے لئے اپنی آیتیں بیان کر دیں تاکہ تم سمجھو ۔

Know that Allah gives life to the earth after its lifelessness. We have made clear to you the signs; perhaps you will understand.

بیشک صدقہ دینے والے مرد اور صدقہ دینے والی عورتیں اور جو اللہ کو خلوص کے ساتھ قرض دے رہے ہیں ۔ ان کے لئے یہ بڑھایا جائے گا اور ان کے لئے پسندیدہ اجر و ثواب ہے ۔

Indeed, the men who practice charity and the women who practice charity and [they who] have loaned Allah a goodly loan - it will be multiplied for them, and they will have a noble reward.

اللہ اور اس کے رسول پر جو ایمان رکھتے ہیں وہی لوگ اپنے رب کے نزدیک صدیق اور شہید ہیں ان کے لئے ان کا اجر اور ان کا نور ہے ، اور جو لوگ کفر کرتے ہیں اور ہماری آیتوں کو جھٹلاتے ہیں وہ جہنمی ہیں ۔

And those who have believed in Allah and His messengers - those are [in the ranks of] the supporters of truth and the martyrs, with their Lord. For them is their reward and their light. But those who have disbelieved and denied Our verses - those are the companions of Hellfire.

۔ ( آؤ ) دوڑو اپنے رب کی مغفرت کی طرف اور اس جنت کی طرف جس کی وسعت آسماں و زمین کی وسعت کے برابر ہے یہ ان کے لئے بنائی گئی ہے جو اللہ پر اور اس کے رسولوں ایمان رکھتے ہیں ۔ یہ اللہ کا فضل ہے جسے چاہے دے اور اللہ بڑے فضل والا ہے ۔

Race toward forgiveness from your Lord and a Garden whose width is like the width of the heavens and earth, prepared for those who believed in Allah and His messengers. That is the bounty of Allah which He gives to whom He wills, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty.
