O you who have believed, fear Allah and speak words of appropriate justice.
Aey eman walon! Allah Taala say daro aur seedhi seedhi ( sachi ) baaten kiya kero.
ऐ ईमान लाने वालो! अल्लाह का डर रखो और बात कहो ठीक सधी हुई
He will [then] amend for you your deeds and forgive you your sins. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly attained a great attainment.
Takay Allah Taalaa tumharay kaam sanwaar day aur tumharay gunah moaaf farma dey aur jo bhi Allah aur uss kay rasool ki farma bardari keray ga uss ney bari murad paali.
वह तुम्हारे कर्मों को सँवार देगा और तुम्हारे गुनाहों को क्षमा कर देगा। और जो अल्लाह और उस के रसूल का आज्ञापालन करे, उस ने बड़ी सफलता प्राप्त कर ली है
They made for him what he willed of elevated chambers, statues, bowls like reservoirs, and stationary kettles. [We said], "Work, O family of David, in gratitude." And few of My servants are grateful.
Jo kuch suleman chahatay woh jinnat tayyar ker detay maslan qilay aur mujassmay aur hozon kay barabar lagan aur choolhon per jami hui mazboot deygen aey aal-e-dawood iss kay shukriya mein nek amal kero meray bandon mein say shukar guzar banday kum hi hotay hain.
वे उस के लिए बनाते, जो कुछ वह चाहता - बड़े-बड़े भवन, प्रतिमाएँ, बड़े हौज़ जैसे थाल और जमी रहने वाली देगें - "ऐ दाऊद के लोगों! कर्म करो, कृतज्ञता दिखाने के रूप में। मेरे बन्दों में कृतज्ञ थोड़े ही हैं।"
Say, "Indeed, my Lord extends provision for whom He wills of His servants and restricts [it] for him. But whatever thing you spend [in His cause] - He will compensate it; and He is the best of providers."
Keh dijiye! kay mera rab apnay bandon mein jiss kay liye chahaye rozi kushada kerta hai aur jiss kay liye chahata hai tang ker deta hai tum jo kuch bhi Allah ki raah mein kharach kero gay Allah uss ka ( poora poora ) badla dey ga aur woh sab say behtar rozi denay wala hai.
कह दो, "मेरा रब ही है जो अपने बन्दों में से जिस के लिए चाहता है रोज़ी कुशादा कर देता है और जिस के लिए चाहता है नपी-तुली कर देता है। और जो कुछ भी तुम ने ख़र्च किया, उस की जगह वह तुम्हें और देगा। वह सबसे अच्छा रोज़ी देने वाला है।"
Whoever desires honor [through power] - then to Allah belongs all honor. To Him ascends good speech, and righteous work raises it. But they who plot evil deeds will have a severe punishment, and the plotting of those - it will perish.
Jo shaks izzat hasil kerna chahata ho to Allah Taalaa hi ki sari izzat hai tamam tar suthray kalmaat ussi ki taraf charhtay hain aur nek aemaal unn ko buland kerta hai jo log buraeeyon kay dao ghaat mein lagay rehtay hain unn kay liye sakht tar azab hai aur unn ka yeh makar barbaad hojayega.
जो कोई प्रभुत्व चाहता हो तो प्रभुत्व तो सारा का सारा अल्लाह के लिए है। उसी की ओर अच्छा-पवित्र बोल चढ़ता है और अच्छा कर्म उसे ऊँचा उठाता है। रहे वे लोग जो बुरी चालें चलते हैं, उन के लिए कठोर यातना है और उन की चालबाज़ी मटियामेट होकर रहेगी
And among people and moving creatures and grazing livestock are various colors similarly. Only those fear Allah , from among His servants, who have knowledge. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Forgiving.
Aur issi tarah aadmiyon aur janwaron aur chopayon mein bhi baaz aisay hain kay unn ki rangaten mukhtalif hain Allah say uss kay wohi banday dartay hain jo ilm rakhtay hain waqaee Allah Taalaa zabardast bara bakhsney wala hai.
और मनुष्यों और जानवरों और चौपायों के रंग भी इसी प्रकार भिन्न हैं। अल्लाह से डरते तो उस के वही बन्दे हैं, जो बाख़बर हैं। निश्चय ही अल्लाह अत्यन्त प्रभुत्वशाली, क्षमाशील है
Indeed, those who recite the Book of Allah and establish prayer and spend [in His cause] out of what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, [can] expect a profit that will never perish -
Jo log kitabullah ki tilawat kertay hain aur namaz ki pabandi rakhtay hain aur jo kuch hum ney unn ko ata farmaya hai uss mein say posheedah aur ailaniya kharach kertay hain woh aisi tijarat kay umeedwaar hain jo kabhi khasaray mein na hogi.
निश्चय ही जो लोग अल्लाह की किताब पढ़ते हैं, इस हाल मे कि नमाज़ के पाबन्द हैं, और जो कुछ हम ने उन्हें दिया है, उस में से छिपे और खुले ख़र्च किया है, वे एक ऐसे व्यापार की आशा रखते हैं जो कभी तबाह न होगा
Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register.
Be-shak hum murdon ko zindah keren gay aur hum likhtay jatay hain woh aemaal bhi jin ko log aagay bhejtay hain aur unn kay woh aemaal bhi jin ko peechay chor jatay hain aur hum ney her cheez ko aik wazeh kitab mein zabt ker rakha hai.
निस्संदेह हम मुर्दों को जीवित करेंगे और हम लिखेंगे जो कुछ उन्होंने आगे के लिए भेजा और उन के चिन्हों को (जो पीछे रहा) । हर चीज़ हम ने एक स्पष्ट किताब में गिन रखी है
[They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny."
Yehi faislay ka din hai jissay tum jhutlatay rahey.
यह वही फ़ैसले का दिन है जिसे तुम झुठलाते रहे हो
Indeed, We have sent down to you the Book, [O Muhammad], in truth. So worship Allah , [being] sincere to Him in religion.
Yaqeenan hum ney iss kitab ko aap ki taraf haq kay sath nazil farmaya hai pus aap Allah hi ki ibadat keren ussi kay liye deen ko khalis kerti huyey.
निस्संदेह हम ने यह किताब तुम्हारी ओर सत्य के साथ अवतरित की है
If you disbelieve - indeed, Allah is Free from need of you. And He does not approve for His servants disbelief. And if you are grateful, He approves it for you; and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you about what you used to do. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.
Agar tum na-shukri kero to ( yaad rakho kay ) Allah Taalaa tum ( sab say ) be-niyaz hai aur woh apnay bando ki na-shukri say khush nahi aur agar tum shukar kero to woh issay tumharay liye pasand keray ga aur koi kissi ka bojh nahi uthata phit tum sab ka lotna tumharay rab hi ki taraf hai. Tumhen woh batla dey ga jo tum kertay thay. Yaqeenan woh dilon tak ki baaton ka waqif hai.
यदि तुम इनकार करोगे तो अल्लाह तुम से निस्पृह है। यद्यपि वह अपने बन्दों के लिए इनकार को पसन्द नहीं करता, किन्तु यदि तुम कृतज्ञता दिखाओगे, तो उसे वह तुम्हारे लिए पसन्द करता है। कोई बोझ न उठाएगा। फिर तुम्हारी वापसी अपने रब ही की ओर है। और वह तुम्हे बता देगा, जो कुछ तुम करते रहे होगे। निश्चय ही वह सीनों तक की बातें जानता है
Is one who is devoutly obedient during periods of the night, prostrating and standing [in prayer], fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord, [like one who does not]? Say, "Are those who know equal to those who do not know?" Only they will remember [who are] people of understanding.
Bhala jo shaks raaton kay auqaat sajjday aur qayaam ki halat mein ( ibadat mein ) guzaarta ho aakhirat say darta ho aur apnay rab ki rehmat ki umeed rakhta ho ( aur jo iss kay bar-aks ho barbar ho saktay hain ) batao to ilm walay aur be-ilm kiya barabar kay hain? Yaqeenan naseehat wohi hasil kertay hain jo aqalmand hon. ( apnay rab ki taraf say ) .
(क्या उक्त व्यक्ति अच्छा है) या वह व्यक्ति जो रात की घड़ियों में सजदा करता और खड़ा रहता है, आख़िरत से डरता है और अपने रब की दयालुता की आशा रखता हुआ विनयशीलता के साथ बन्दगी में लगा रहता है? कहो, "क्या वे लोग जो जानते हैं और वे लोग जो नहीं जानते दोनों समान होंगे? शिक्षा तो बुद्धि और समझ वाले ही ग्रहण करते हैं।"
Say, "O My servants who have believed, fear your Lord. For those who do good in this world is good, and the earth of Allah is spacious. Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without account."
Kehdo kay aey meray eman walay bando! Apnay rab say dartay raho jo iss duniya mein neki kertay hain unn kay liye nek badla hai aur Allah Taalaa ki zamin boht kushadah hai sabar kerney walon hi ko unn ka poora poora be-shumaar ajar diya jata hai.
कह दो कि "ऐ मेरे बन्दो, जो ईमान लाए हो! अपने रब का डर रखो। जिन लोगों ने अच्छा कर दिखाया उन के लिए इस संसार में अच्छाई है, और अल्लाह की धरती विस्तृत है। जमे रहने वालों को तो उन का बदला बेहिसाब मिलकर रहेगा।"
They will have canopies of fire above them and below them, canopies. By that Allah threatens His servants. O My servants, then fear Me.
Unehn neechay uper say aag kay ( sholay misil ) sayebaan ( kay ) dhaank rahey hongay. Yehi ( azab ) hai jin say Allah Taalaa apnay bando ko dara raha hai aey meray bando! Pus mujh say dartay raho.
उन के लिए उन के ऊपर से भी आग की छतरियाँ होंगी और उन के नीचे से भी छतरियाँ होंगी। यही वह चीज़ है, जिस से अल्लाह अपने बन्दों को डराता है, "ऐ मेरे बन्दो! अतः तुम मेरा डर रखो।"
Who listen to speech and follow the best of it. Those are the ones Allah has guided, and those are people of understanding.
Jo baat ko kaan laga ker suntay hain. Phir jo behtareen baat ho uss ki ittbaa kertay hain. Yehi hain jinhen Allah Taalaa ney hidayat ki hai aur yehi aqalmand bhi hain.
अतः मेरे उन बन्दों को शुभ सूचना दे दो जो बात को ध्यान से सुनते हैं; फिर उस अच्छी से अच्छी बात का अनुपालन करते हैं। वही हैं, जिन्हें अल्लाह ने मार्ग दिखाया है और वही बुद्धि और समझ वाले हैं
And if you asked them, "Who created the heavens and the earth?" they would surely say, " Allah ." Say, "Then have you considered what you invoke besides Allah ? If Allah intended me harm, are they removers of His harm; or if He intended me mercy, are they withholders of His mercy?" Say, "Sufficient for me is Allah ; upon Him [alone] rely the [wise] reliers."
Agar aap inn say poochen kay aasman-o-zamin ko kiss ney peda kiya hai? To yaqeenan woh yehi jawab den gay kay Allah ney. Aap inn kahiyey acha yeh to batao jinhen tum Allah kay siwa pukartay ho agar Allah Taalaa mujhay nuksan phonchana chahye to kiya yeh uss kay nuksan ko hata saktay hain? Ya Allah Taalaa mujh per meharbani ka iradah keray to kiya yeh uss ki meharbani ko rok saktay hain? Aap keh den kay Allah mujhay kafi hai tawakkal kerney walay ussi per tawakkal kertay hain.
यदि तुम उन से पूछो कि "आकाशों और धरती को किसने पैदा किया?" को वे अवश्य कहेंगे, "अल्लाह ने।" कहो, "तुम्हारा क्या विचार है? यदि अल्लाह मुझे कोई तकलीफ़ पहुँचानी चाहे तो क्या अल्लाह से हटकर जिन को तुम पुकारते हो वे उस की पहुँचाई हुई तकलीफ़ को दूर कर सकते हैं? या वह मुझ पर कोई दयालुता दर्शानी चाहे तो क्या वे उस की दयालुता को रोक सकते हैं?" कह दो, "मेरे लिए अल्लाह काफ़ी है। भरोसा करने वाले उसी पर भरोसा करते हैं।"
Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."
( meri janib say ) keh do kau aey meray bando! Jinhon ney apni jano per ziyadti ki hai tum Allah ki rehmat say na-umeed na hojao bil-yaqeen Allah Taalaa saray gunahon ko bakhash deta hai waqaee woh bari bakhsish bari rehmat wala hai.
कह दो, "ऐ मेरे बन्दो, जिन्होंने अपने आप पर ज्यादती की है, अल्लाह की दयालुता से निराश न हो। निस्संदेह अल्लाह सारे ही गुनाहों को क्षमा कर देता है। निश्चय ही वह बड़ा क्षमाशील, अत्यन्त दयावान है
And follow the best of what was revealed to you from your Lord before the punishment comes upon you suddenly while you do not perceive,
Aur pairwee kero uss behtareen cheez ki jo tumhari taraf tumharay perwerdigar ki taraf say nazil ki gaee hai iss say pehlay kay tum per achanak azab aajaye aur tumhen itla bhi na ho.
और अनुसरण करो उस सर्वोत्तम चीज़ का जो तुम्हारे रब की ओर से अवतरित हुई है, इस से पहले कि तुम पर अचानक यातना आ जाए और तुम्हें पता भी न हो।"
It is He who shows you His signs and sends down to you from the sky, provision. But none will remember except he who turns back [in repentance].
Wohi hai jo tumhen apni nishaniyan dikhalata hai aur tumharay liye aasman say rozi utarta hai naseehat to sirf wohi hasil kertay hain jo ( Allah ki taraf rujoo kertay hain.
वही है जो तुम्हें अपनी निशानियाँ दिखाता है और तुम्हारे लिए आकाश से रोज़ी उतारता है, किन्तु याददिहानी तो बस वही हासिल करता है जो (उस की ओर) रुजू करे
So invoke Allah , [being] sincere to Him in religion, although the disbelievers dislike it.
Tum Allah ko pukartay raho uss kay liye deen ko khalis ker key go kafir bura manen.
अतः तुम अल्लाह ही को, धर्म को उसी के लिए विशुद्ध करते हुए, पुकारो, यद्यपि इनकार करने वालों को अप्रिय ही लगे। -
And your Lord says, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you." Indeed, those who disdain My worship will enter Hell [rendered] contemptible.
Aur tumharay rab ka farman ( sirzad ho chuka ) hai kay mujh say dua kero mein tumhari duaon ko qabool keroon ga yaqeen mano kay jo log meri ibadat say khudsari kertay hain woh abhi abhi zaleel hoker jahannum mein phonch jayen gay.
तुम्हारे रब ने कहा कि "तुम मुझे पुकारो, मैं तुम्हारी प्रार्थनाएँ स्वीकार करूँगा।" जो लोग मेरी बन्दगी के मामले में घमंड से काम लेते हैं निश्चय ही वे शीघ्र ही अपमानित होकर जहन्नम में प्रवेश करेंगे
Say, O [Muhammad], "I am only a man like you to whom it has been revealed that your god is but one God; so take a straight course to Him and seek His forgiveness." And woe to those who associate others with Allah -
Aap keh dijiyey! Kay mein to tum hi jaisa insan hun mujh per wahee nazil ki jati hai kay tum sab ka mabood aik Allah hi hai so tum uss ki taraf mutawajja hojaoaur uss say gunhaon ki maafi chahao aur inn mushrikon kay liye ( bari hi ) kharabi hai.
कह दो, "मैं तो तुम्हीं जैसा मनुष्य हूँ। मेरी ओर प्रकाशना की जाती है कि तुम्हारा पूज्य-प्रभु बस अकेला पूज्य-प्रभु है। अतः तुम सीधे उसी का रुख करो और उसी से क्षमा-याचना करो - साझी ठहराने वालों के लिए तो बड़ी तबाही है,
And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, "Indeed, I am of the Muslims."
Aur uss say ziyadah achi baat wala kon hai jo Allah ki taraf bulaye aur nek kaam keray aur kahey kay mein musalmanon mein say hun.
और उस व्यक्ति से बात में अच्छा कौन हो सकता है जो अल्लाह की ओर बुलाए और अच्छे कर्म करे और कहे, "निस्संदेह मैं मुस्लिम (आज्ञाकारी) हूँ?"
And not equal are the good deed and the bad. Repel [evil] by that [deed] which is better; and thereupon the one whom between you and him is enmity [will become] as though he was a devoted friend.
Neki aur badi barabar nahi hoti. Buraee ko bhalaee say dafa kero phir wohi jiss kay aur tumharay darmiyan dushmani hai aisa hojayega jaisay dili dost.
भलाई और बुराई समान नहीं हैं। तुम (बुरे आचरण की बुराई को) अच्छे से अच्छे आचरण के द्वारा दूर करो। फिर क्या देखोगे कि वही व्यक्ति तुम्हारे और जिस के बीच वैर पड़ा हुआ था, जैसे वह कोई घनिष्ठ मित्र है
But none is granted it except those who are patient, and none is granted it except one having a great portion [of good].
Aur yeh baat unhin ko naseeb hoti hai jo sabar keren aur issay siwaye baray naseebay walon kay koi nahi paa sakta.
किन्तु यह चीज़ केवल उन लोगों को प्राप्त होती है जो धैर्य से काम लेते हैं, और यह चीज़ केवल उसको प्राप्त होती है जो बड़ा भाग्यशाली होता है
And if there comes to you from Satan an evil suggestion, then seek refuge in Allah . Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
Aur aar shetan ki taraf say koi waswasa aaye to Allah ki panah talab kero. Yaqeenan woh boht hi sunnay wala jannay wala hai.
और यदि शैतान की ओर से कोई उकसाहट तुम्हें चुभे तो अल्लाह की शरण माँग लो। निश्चय ही वह सबकुछ सुनता, जानता है
And of His signs are the night and day and the sun and moon. Do not prostrate to the sun or to the moon, but prostate to Allah , who created them, if it should be Him that you worship.
Aur din raat aur sooraj chand bhi ( ussi ki ) nishaniyon mien say hain tum sooraj ko sajdah na kero na chand ko bulkay sajdah uss Allah kay liye kero jiss ney inn sab ko peda kiya hai agar tumhen ussi ki ibadat kerni hai to.
रात और दिन और सूर्य और चन्द्रमा उस की निशानियों में से हैं। तुम न तो सूर्य को सजदा करो और न चन्द्रमा को, बल्कि अल्लाह को सजदा करो जिस ने उन्हें पैदा किया, यदि तुम उसी की बन्दगी करने वाले हो
He has ordained for you of religion what He enjoined upon Noah and that which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what We enjoined upon Abraham and Moses and Jesus - to establish the religion and not be divided therein. Difficult for those who associate others with Allah is that to which you invite them. Allah chooses for Himself whom He wills and guides to Himself whoever turns back [to Him].
Allah Taalaa ney tumharay liye wohi deen muqarrar ker diya hai jiss kay qaeem kerney ka uss ney Nooh ( alh-e-salam ) ko hukum diya tha aur jo ( ba-zariya wahee ) hum ney teri taraf bhej di hai aur jiss ka takeedi hukum hum ney Ibrahim aur Musa aur Essa ( alheem-us-salam ) ko diya tha kay iss deen ko qaeem rakhna aur iss mein phoot na dalna jiss cheez ki taraf aap ehen bula rahey hain who to ( inn ) mushrikon per giran guzarti hai Allah Taalaa jissay chahata hai apna bargazeedah banata hai aur jo bhi uss ki taraf rujoo keray who uss ki sahih rehnumaee kerta hai.
उस ने तुम्हारे लिए वही धर्म निर्धारित किया जिस की ताकीद उस ने नूह को की थी।" और वह (जीवन्त आदेश) जिस की प्रकाशना हम ने तुम्हारी ओर की है और वह जिस की ताकीद हम ने इबराहीम और मूसा और ईसा को की थी यह है कि "धर्म को क़ायम करो और उस के विषय में अलग-अलग न हो जाओ।" बहुदेववादियों को वह चीज़ बहुत अप्रिय है, जिस की ओर तुम उन्हें बुलाते हो। अल्लाह जिसे चाहता है अपनी ओर छाँट लेता है और अपनी ओर का मार्ग उसी को दिखाता है जो उस की ओर रुजू करता है
Respond to your Lord before a Day comes from Allah of which there is no repelling. No refuge will you have that day, nor for you will there be any denial.
Apnay rab ka hukum maan lo iss say pehlay kay Allah ki janib say woh din aajaye jiss ka hut jana na-mumkin hai tumhen uss roz na koi panah ki jagah milay gi na chup ker anjan bann janey ki.
अपने रब की बात मान लो इस से पहले कि अल्लाह की ओर से वह दिन आ जाए जो पलटने का नहीं। उस दिन तुम्हारे लिए न कोई शरण-स्थल होगा और न तुम किसी चीज़ को रद्द कर सकोगे
And who created the species, all of them, and has made for you of ships and animals those which you mount.
Jiss ney tamam cheezon kay joray banaye aur tumharay liye kashtiyan banaeen aur chopaye janwar ( peda kiyey ) jinn per tum sawar hotay ho.
और जिस ने विभिन्न प्रकार की चीज़े पैदा कीं, और तुम्हारे लिए वे नौकाएँ और जानवर बनाए जिन पर तुम सवार होते हो
