الفاظ ( ثُمَّ )

یہ اس سبب سے ہے کہ یہ ایمان لا کر پھر کافر ہوگئے پس ان کے دلوں پر مہر کر دی گئی ۔ اب یہ نہیں سمجھتے ۔

That is because they believed, and then they disbelieved; so their hearts were sealed over, and they do not understand.

ان کافروں نے خیال کیا ہے کہ دوبارہ زندہ نہ کئے جائیں گے آپ کہہ دیجئے کیوں نہیں اللہ کی قسم! تم ضرور دوبارہ اٹھائے جاؤ گے پھر جو تم نے کیا ہےاس کی خبر دیئے جاؤ گے اور اللہ پر یہ بالکل ہی آسان ہے ۔

Those who disbelieve have claimed that they will never be resurrected. Say, "Yes, by my Lord, you will surely be resurrected; then you will surely be informed of what you did. And that, for Allah , is easy."

پھر دوہرا کر دو دو بار دیکھ لے تیری نگاہ تیری طرف ذلیل ( و عاجز ) ہو کر تھکی ہوئی لوٹ آئے گی ۔

Then return [your] vision twice again. [Your] vision will return to you humbled while it is fatigued.

پھر اسے دوزخ میں ڈال دو ۔

Then into Hellfire drive him.

پھر اسے ایسی زنجیر میں جس کی پیمائش ستر ہاتھ کی ہے جکڑ دو ۔

Then into a chain whose length is seventy cubits insert him."

پھر اس کی شہ رگ کاٹ دیتے ۔

Then We would have cut from him the aorta.

اور روئے زمین کے سب لوگوں کو دینا چاہے گا تاکہ یہ اسے نجات دلا دے ۔

And whoever is on earth entirely [so] then it could save him.

پھر میں نے انہیں با آواز بلند بلایا ۔

Then I invited them publicly.

بیشک میں نے ان سے اعلانیہ بھی کہا اور چپکے چپکے بھی ۔

Then I announced to them and [also] confided to them secretly

پھر تمہیں اسی میں لوٹا لے جائے گا اور ( ایک خاص طریقہ ) سے پھر نکالے گا ۔

Then He will return you into it and extract you [another] extraction.

پھر بھی اس کی چاہت ہے کہ میں اسے اور زیادہ دوں ۔

Then he desires that I should add more.

وہ پھر غارت ہو کس طرح اندازہ کیا ۔

Then may he be destroyed [for] how he deliberated.

اس نے پھر دیکھا ۔

Then he considered [again];

پھر تیوری چڑھائی اور منہ بنایا ۔

Then he frowned and scowled;

پھر پیچھے ہٹ گیا اور غرور کیا ۔

Then he turned back and was arrogant

پھر اس کا واضح کر دینا ہمارا ذمہ ہے ۔

Then upon Us is its clarification [to you].

پھر اپنے گھر والوں کے پاس اتراتا ہوا گیا ۔

And then he went to his people, swaggering [in pride].

وائے ہے اور خرابی ہے تیرے لئے ۔

Then woe to you, and woe!

پھر لہو کا لوتھڑا ہوگیا پھر اللہ نے اسے پیدا کیا اور درست بنا دیا ۔

Then he was a clinging clot, and [ Allah ] created [his form] and proportioned [him]

پھر ہم ان کے بعد پچھلوں کو لائے ۔

Then We will follow them with the later ones.

پھر بالیقین انہیں بہت جلد معلوم ہو جائے گا ۔

Then, no! They are going to know.

پھر پلٹا دوڑ دھوپ کرتے ہوئے ۔

Then he turned his back, striving.

پھر اس کے لئے راستہ آسان کیا ۔

Then He eased the way for him;

پھر اسے موت دی اور پھر قبر میں دفن کیا ۔

Then He causes his death and provides a grave for him.

پھر جب چاہے گا اسے زندہ کر دے گا ۔

Then when He wills, He will resurrect him.

پھر پھاڑا زمین کو اچھی طرح ۔

Then We broke open the earth, splitting [it with sprouts],

میں پھر ( کہتا ہوں کہ ) تجھے کیا معلوم کہ جزا ور ( سزا ) کا دن کیا ہے ۔

Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?

پھر یہ لوگ بالیقین جہنم میں جھونکے جائیں گے ۔

Then indeed, they will [enter and] burn in Hellfire.

پھر کہہ دیا جائے گا کہ یہی ہے وہ جسے تم جھٹلاتے رہے ۔

Then it will be said [to them], "This is what you used to deny."

بیشک جن لوگوں نے مسلمان مردوں اور عورتوں کو ستایا پھر توبہ ( بھی ) نہ کی تو ان کے لئے جہنم کا عذاب ہے اور جلنے کا عذاب ہے ۔

Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire.

جہاں پھر نہ وہ مرے گا نہ جئیے گا ( بلکہ حالت نزع میں پڑا رہے گا ) ۔

Neither dying therein nor living.

پھر بیشک ہمارے ذمہ ہے ان سے حساب لینا ۔

Then indeed, upon Us is their account.

پھر ان لوگوں میں سے ہو جاتا ہے جو ایمان لاتے اور ایک دوسرے کو صبر کی اور رحم کرنے کی وصیت کرتے ہیں ۔

And then being among those who believed and advised one another to patience and advised one another to compassion.

پھر اسے نیچوں سے نیچا کر دیا ۔

Then We return him to the lowest of the low,

ہرگز نہیں پھر تمہیں جلد علم ہو جائے گا ۔

Then no! You are going to know.

اور تم اسے یقین کی آنکھ سے دیکھ لو گے ۔

Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty.

پھر اس دن تم سے ضرور بالضرور نعمتوں کا سوال ہوگا ۔

Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure.
