And the ones who disbelieve in the signs of Allah and the meeting with Him - those have despaired of My mercy, and they will have a painful punishment.
Jo log Allah Taalaa ki aayaton aur uss ki mulaqat ko bhulatay hain woh meri rehmat say na umeed ho jayen aur unn kay liye dard naak azab hai.
और जिन लोगों ने अल्लाह की आयतों और उस से मिलने का इनकार किया, वही लोग हैं जो मेरी दयालुता से निराश हुए और वही हैं जिन के लिए दुखद यातना है। -
And of the people is he who buys the amusement of speech to mislead [others] from the way of Allah without knowledge and who takes it in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment.
Aur baaz log aisay bhi hain jo laghaw baaton ko mol letay hain kay bey-ilmi kay sath logon ko Allah ki raah say behkayen aur ussay hansi banayen yehi woh log hain jin kay liye ruswa kerney wala azab hai.
लोगों में से कोई ऐसा भी है जो दिल को लुभाने वाली बातों का ख़रीदार बनता है, ताकि बिना किसी ज्ञान के अल्लाह के मार्ग से (दूसरों को) भटकाए और उन का परिहास करे। वही है जिन के लिए अपमानजनक यातना है
But those who strive against Our verses [seeking] to cause failure - for them will be a painful punishment of foul nature.
Aur humari aayaton ko neecha dikhaney ki jinhon ney kosish ki hai yeh woh log hain jin kay liye bad-tareen qisam ka dardnaak azab hai.
"रहे वे लोग जिन्होंने हमारी आयतों को मात करने का प्रयास किया, वह हैं जिन के लिए बहुत ही बुरे प्रकार की दुखद यातना है।"
Those who disbelieve will have a severe punishment, and those who believe and do righteous deeds will have forgiveness and great reward.
Jo log kafir huyey unn kay liye sakht saza hai aur jo log eman laye aur nek aemaal kiye unn kay liye baksshish hai aur ( boht ) bara ajar hai.
वे लोग हैं कि जिन्होंने इनकार किया उन के लिए कठोर यातना है। किन्तु जो ईमान लाए और उन्होंने अच्छे कर्म किए उन के लिए क्षमा और बड़ा प्रतिदान है
Whoever desires honor [through power] - then to Allah belongs all honor. To Him ascends good speech, and righteous work raises it. But they who plot evil deeds will have a severe punishment, and the plotting of those - it will perish.
Jo shaks izzat hasil kerna chahata ho to Allah Taalaa hi ki sari izzat hai tamam tar suthray kalmaat ussi ki taraf charhtay hain aur nek aemaal unn ko buland kerta hai jo log buraeeyon kay dao ghaat mein lagay rehtay hain unn kay liye sakht tar azab hai aur unn ka yeh makar barbaad hojayega.
जो कोई प्रभुत्व चाहता हो तो प्रभुत्व तो सारा का सारा अल्लाह के लिए है। उसी की ओर अच्छा-पवित्र बोल चढ़ता है और अच्छा कर्म उसे ऊँचा उठाता है। रहे वे लोग जो बुरी चालें चलते हैं, उन के लिए कठोर यातना है और उन की चालबाज़ी मटियामेट होकर रहेगी
They said, "Indeed, we consider you a bad omen. If you do not desist, we will surely stone you, and there will surely touch you, from us, a painful punishment."
Unhon ney kaha kay hum to tum ko manhoos samajhtay hain. Agar tum baaz na aaye to hum pathron say tumhara kaam tamam ker den gay aur tum ko humari taraf say sakht takleef phonchay gi.
वे बोले, "हम तो तुम्हें अपशकुन समझते हैं, यदि तुम बाज न आए तो हम तुम्हें पथराव करके मार डालेंगे और तुम्हें अवश्य हमारी ओर से दुखद यातना पहुँचेगी।"
Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment,
Bhaganey kay liye aur unn kay liye daeemi azab hai.
और उन के लिए अनवरत यातना है
[We said], "O David, indeed We have made you a successor upon the earth, so judge between the people in truth and do not follow [your own] desire, as it will lead you astray from the way of Allah ." Indeed, those who go astray from the way of Allah will have a severe punishment for having forgotten the Day of Account.
Aey dawood! Hum ney tumhen zamin mein khalifa bana diya tum logon kay darmiyan haq kay sath faislay kero aur apni nafsani khuwaish ki perwi na kero werna woh tumhen Allah ki raah say bhatka deygi yaqeenan jo log Allah ki raah say bhatak jatay hain unn kay liye sakht azab hai iss liye kay unhon ney hisab kay din ko bhula diya hai.
"ऐ दाऊद! हम ने धरती में तुझे ख़लीफ़ा (उत्तराधिकारी) बनाया है। अतः तू लोगों के बीच हक़ के साथ फ़ैसला करना और अपनी इच्छा का अनुपालन न करना कि वह तुझे अल्लाह के मार्ग से भटका दे। जो लोग अल्लाह के मार्ग से भटकते हैं, निश्चय ही उन के लिए कठोर यातना है, क्योंकि वे हिसाब के दिन को भूले रहे।-
To whom will come a torment disgracing him and on whom will descend an enduring punishment."
Kay kiss per ruswa kerney wala azab aata hai aur kiss per daeemi maar aur hameshgi ki saza hoti hai.
कि किस पर वह यातना आती है जो उसे रुसवा कर देगी और किस पर अटल यातना उतरती है।"
To whom will come a torment disgracing him and on whom will descend an enduring punishment."
Kay kiss per ruswa kerney wala azab aata hai aur kiss per daeemi maar aur hameshgi ki saza hoti hai.
कि किस पर वह यातना आती है जो उसे रुसवा कर देगी और किस पर अटल यातना उतरती है।"
And those who argue concerning Allah after He has been responded to - their argument is invalid with their Lord, and upon them is [His] wrath, and for them is a severe punishment.
Aur jo log Allah Taalaa ki baton mein jhagra daltay hain iss kay baad kay ( makhlooq ) ussay maan chuki unn ki cut hujjati Allah kay nazdeek batil hai aur unn per ghazab hai aur unn kay liye sakht azab hai.
जो लोग अल्लाह के विषय में झगड़ते हैं, इस के पश्चात कि उस की पुकार स्वीकार कर ली गई, उन का झगड़ना उन के रब की स्पष्ट में बिलकुल न ठहरने वाला (असत्य) है। प्रकोप है उन पर और उन के लिए कड़ी यातना है
Or have they other deities who have ordained for them a religion to which Allah has not consented? But if not for the decisive word, it would have been concluded between them. And indeed, the wrongdoers will have a painful punishment.
Kiya inn logon ney aisay ( Allah kay ) shareek ( muqarrar ker rakhay ) hain jinhon ney aisay ehkaam-e-deen muqarrar ker diyey hain jo Allah kay famaye huye nahi hain. Agar faislay kay din ka wada na hota to ( abhi hi ) inn mein faisla ker diya jata. Yaqeenan ( inn ) zalimon kay liye hi dard-naak azab hai.
(क्या उन्हें समझ नहीं) या उन के कुछ ऐसे (ठहराए हुए) साझीदार हैं, जिन्होंन उन के लिए कोई ऐसा धर्म निर्धारित कर दिया है जिस की अनुज्ञा अल्लाह ने नहीं दी? यदि फ़ैसले की बात निश्चित न हो गई होती तो उन के बीच फ़ैसला हो चुका होता। निश्चय ही ज़ालिमों के लिए दुखद यातना है
And He answers [the supplication of] those who have believed and done righteous deeds and increases [for] them from His bounty. But the disbelievers will have a severe punishment.
eman walon aur neko kaar logon ki sunta hai aur unhen apnay fazal say aur barha ker deta hai aur kuffaar kay liye sakht azab hai.
और वह उन लोगों की प्रार्थनाएँ स्वीकार करता है जो ईमान लाए और उन्होंने अच्छे कर्म किए। और अपने उदार अनुग्रह से उन्हें और अधिक प्रदान करता है। रहे इनकार करने वाले, तो उन के लिए कड़ी यातना है
The cause is only against the ones who wrong the people and tyrannize upon the earth without right. Those will have a painful punishment.
Yeh raasta sirf unn logon per hai jo khud doosron per zulm keren aur zamin mein na haq fasad kertay phiren yehi log hain jinn kay liye dard-naak azab hai.
इलज़ाम तो केवल उन पर आता है जो लोगों पर ज़ुल्म करते हैं और धरती में नाहक़ ज़्यादती करते हैं। ऐसे लोगों के लिए दुखद यातना है
Covering the people; this is a painful torment.
Jo logon ko gher ley ga yeh dard-naak azab hai.
वह लोगों को ढाँक लेगा। यह है दुखद यातना!
And when he knows anything of Our verses, he takes them in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment.
Woh jabb humari aayaton mein say kissi aayat ki khabar paa leta hai to uss ki hansi urata hai yehi log hain jinn kay liye ruswaee ki maar hai.
जब हमारी आयतों में से कोई बात वह जान लेता है तो वह उन का परिहास करता है, ऐसे लोगों के लिए रुसवा कर देने वाली यातना है
Before them is Hell, and what they had earned will not avail them at all nor what they had taken besides Allah as allies. And they will have a great punishment.
Unn kay peechay dozakh hai hai jo kuch unhon ney hasil kiya tha woh unhen kuch bhi nafa na dey ga aur na woh ( kuch kaam aayengay ) jinn ko unhon ney Allah kay siwa kaar saaz bana rakha tha unn kay liye bohat bara azab hai.
उन के आगे जहन्नम है, जो उन्होंने कमाया वह उन के कुछ काम न आएगा और न यही कि उन्होंने अल्लाह को छोड़कर अपने संरक्षक ठहरा रखे हैं। उन के लिए तो बड़ी यातना है
This [Qur'an] is guidance. And those who have disbelieved in the verses of their Lord will have a painful punishment of foul nature.
Yeh ( sirtapa ) hidayat hai jinn logon ney apnay rab ki aayaton ko na mana unn kay liye bohat sakht dard-naak azab hai.
यह सर्वथा मार्गदर्शन है। और जिन लोगों ने अपने रब की आयतों को इनकार किया, उन के लिए हिला देने वाली दुखद यातना है
And when they saw it as a cloud approaching their valleys, they said, "This is a cloud bringing us rain!" Rather, it is that for which you were impatient: a wind, within it a painful punishment,
Phir jabb unhon ney azab ko basoorat badal dekha apni wadiyon ki taraf aatay huye to kehnay lagay yeh abar hum per barasney wala hai ( nahi ) bulkay dar-asal yeh abar woh ( azab ) hai jiss ki tum jaldi ker rahey thay hawa hai jiss mein dard-naak azab hai.
फिर जब उन्होंने उसे बादल के रूप में देखा, जिस का रुख़ उन की घाटियों की ओर था, तो वे कहने लगे, "यह बादल है जो हम पर बरसने वाला है!' "नहीं, बल्कि यह तो वही चीज़ है जिस के लिए तुम ने जल्दी मचा रखी थी। - यह वायु है जिस में दुखद यातना है
And there came upon them by morning an abiding punishment.
Aur yaqeeni baat hai kay unhen subah saweray hi aik jagah pakarney walay muqarra azab ney ghaarat kerdia.
सुबह सवेरे ही एक अटल यातना उन पर आ पहुँची,
Know that the life of this world is but amusement and diversion and adornment and boasting to one another and competition in increase of wealth and children - like the example of a rain whose [resulting] plant growth pleases the tillers; then it dries and you see it turned yellow; then it becomes [scattered] debris. And in the Hereafter is severe punishment and forgiveness from Allah and approval. And what is the worldly life except the enjoyment of delusion.
Khoob jaan rakho kay duniya ki zindagi sirf khel tamasha zeenat aor aapas main fakhar ( o-ghuroor ) our maal-o-olad main aik ka doosary say apney aap ko ziyadah batlana jaisay barish aur iss ki padawaar kisanon ko achi maloom hota hai phir job woh khushk hojati hai to zard rang main iss ko tum dejhtey ho phir woh bilkul choora choora hojatai hai our aakhirat main sakht azab aur Allah ke maghfirat our razamandi hai our duniya ki zundagi ba-juz dhokay kay saman kay our kuch bhi to nahi.
जान लो, सांसारिक जीवन तो बस एक खेल और तमाशा है और एक साज-सज्जा, और तुम्हारा आपस में एक-दूसरे पर बड़ाई जताना, और धन और सन्तान में परस्पर एक-दूसरे से बढ़ा हुआ प्रदर्शित करना। वर्षा की मिसाल की तरह जिस की वनस्पति ने किसान का दिल मोह लिया। फिर वह पक जाती है; फिर तुम उसे देखते हो कि वह पीली हो गई। फिर वह चूर्ण-विचूर्ण होकर रह जाती है, जबकि आख़िरत में कठोर यातना भी है और अल्लाह की क्षमा और प्रसन्नता भी। सांसारिक जीवन तो केवल धोखे की सुख-सामग्री है
And he who does not find [a slave] - then a fast for two months consecutively before they touch one another; and he who is unable - then the feeding of sixty poor persons. That is for you to believe [completely] in Allah and His Messenger; and those are the limits [set by] Allah . And for the disbelievers is a painful punishment.
Haan jo shaks na paye uss kay zimmay do maheenon kay laga taar rozay hain iss say pehlay kay aik doosray ko haath lagayen aur jiss shaks ko yeh taqat bhi na ho uss per saathh ( 60 ) miskeenon ka khana khilana hai. Yeh iss liye kay tum Allah ki aur uss kay rasool ki hukum bardari kero yeh Allah Taalaa ki muqarrar kerda hadden hain aur kuffaar hi kay liye dard naak azab hai.
किन्तु जिस किसी को ग़ुलाम प्राप्त न हो तो वह निरन्तर दो माह रोज़े रखे, इस से पहले कि वे दोनों एक-दूसरे को हाथ लगाएँ और जिस किसी को इस की भी सामर्थ्य न हो तो साठ मुहताजों को भोजन कराना होगा। यह इसलिए कि तुम अल्लाह और उस के रसूल पर ईमान वाले सिद्ध हो सको। ये अल्लाह की निर्धारित की हुई सीमाएँ हैं। और इनकार करने वाले के लिए दुखद यातना है
Indeed, those who oppose Allah and His Messenger are abased as those before them were abased. And We have certainly sent down verses of clear evidence. And for the disbelievers is a humiliating punishment.
Be-shak jo log Allah aur uss kay rasool ki mukhalifat kertay hain woh zaleel kiye jayen gay jaisay unn say pehlay kay log zaleel kiye gaye thay aur be-shak hum wazeh aayaten utaar chuken hain aur kafiron kay liye to zillat wala azab hai.
जो लोग अल्लाह और उस के रसूल का विरोध करते हैं, वे अपमानित और तिरस्कृत होकर रहेंगे, जैसे उन से पहले के लोग अपमानित और तिरस्कृत हो चुके हैं। हम ने स्पष्ट आयतें अवतरित कर दी हैं और इनकार करने वालों के लिए अपमानजनक यातना है
They took their [false] oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allah , and for them is a humiliating punishment.
Inn logon ney to apni qasmon ko dhaal bana rakha hai aur logon ko Allah ki raah say roktay hain inn kay liye ruswa kerney wala azab hai.
उन्होंने अपनी क़समों को ढाल बना रखा है। अतः वे अल्लाह के मार्ग से (लोगों को) रोकते हैं। तो उन के लिए रुसवा करने वाली यातना है
[Theirs is] like the example of those shortly before them: they tasted the bad consequence of their affair, and they will have a painful punishment.
Unn logon ki tarah jo inn say kuch hi pehlay guzray hain jinhon ney apney kaam ka wabal chakh liya aur jin kay liye alam naak azab ( tayyar ) hai.
उन की हालत उन्हीं लोगों जैसी है जो उन से पहले निकट काल में अपने किए के वबाल का मज़ा चख चुके हैं, और उन के लिए दुखद यातना भी है
Has there not come to you the news of those who disbelieved before? So they tasted the bad consequence of their affair, and they will have a painful punishment.
Kiya tumharay pass iss say pehlay kay kafiron ki khabar nahi phonchi? Jinhon ney apney aemaal ka wabaal chakh liya aur jin kay liye dard naak azab hai.
क्या तुम्हें उन लोगों की ख़बर नहीं पहुँची जिन्होंने इस से पहले इनकार किया था, फिर उन्होंने अपने कर्म के वबाल का मज़ा चखा और उन के लिए एक दुखद यातना भी है
Indeed, We sent Noah to his people, [saying], "Warn your people before there comes to them a painful punishment."
Yaqeenan hum ney Nooh ( alh e salam ) ko inki qom ki taraf bheja kay apni qom ko darado ( aur khabaerdar kerdo ) isss say pehlay kay inkay pass dardnak azab ajaye
हम ने नूह को उस की कौ़म की ओर भेजा कि "अपनी क़ौम के लोगों को सावधान कर दो, इससे पहले कि उन पर कोई दुखद यातना आ जाए।"
