You only worship, besides Allah , idols, and you produce a falsehood. Indeed, those you worship besides Allah do not possess for you [the power of] provision. So seek from Allah provision and worship Him and be grateful to Him. To Him you will be returned."
Tum to Allah Taalaa kay siwa buton ki pooja paat ker rahey ho aur jhooti baatein dil say gharh letay ho. Suno! Jin jin ki tum Allah Taalaa kay siwa pooja paat ker rahey ho woh to tumhari rozi kay malik nahi pus tumhen chahayey kay tum Allah Taalaa hi say roziyan talab kero aur ussi ki ibadat kero aur ussi ki shukar guzari kero aur ussi ki taraf tum lotaye jao gay.
तुम तो अल्लाह से हटकर बस मूर्तियों को पूज रहे हो और झूठ घड़ रहे हो। तुम अल्लाह से हटकर जिन को पूजते हो वे तुम्हारे लिए रोज़ी का भी अधिकार नहीं रखते। अतः तुम अल्लाह ही के यहाँ रोज़ी तलाश करो और उसी की बन्दगी करो और उस के आभारी बनो। तुम्हें उसी की ओर लौटकर जाना है
And if you [people] deny [the message] - already nations before you have denied. And there is not upon the Messenger except [the duty of] clear notification.
Aur agar tum jhutlao to tum say pehlay ki ummaton ney bhi jhutlaya hai rasool kay zimmay to sirf saaf tor per phoncha dena hi hai.
और यदि तुम झुठलाते हो तो तुम से पहले कितने ही समुदाय झुठला चुके हैं। रसूल पर तो बस केवल स्पष्ट रूप से (सत्य संदेश) पहुँचा देने की ज़िम्मेदारी है।"
Have they not considered how Allah begins creation and then repeats it? Indeed that, for Allah , is easy.
Kiya enhon ney nahi dekha kay makhlooq ki ibtida kissa tarah Allah ney ki phir Allah iss ka aey-aada keray ga yeh to Allah Taalaa per boht hi aasan hai.
क्या उन्होंने देखा नहीं कि अल्लाह किस प्रकार पैदाइश का आरम्भ करता है और फिर उस की पुनरावृत्ति करता है? निस्संदेह यह अल्लाह के लिए अत्यन्त सरल है
Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how He began creation. Then Allah will produce the final creation. Indeed Allah , over all things, is competent."
Keh dijiye! kay zamin mein chal phir ker dekho to sahi kay kiss tarah Allah Taalaa ney ibtida’an pedaeesh ki. Phir Allah Taalaa hi doosri naee pedaeesh keray ga Allah Taalaa her cheez per qadir hai.
कहो कि, "धरती में चलो-फिरो और देखो कि उस ने किस प्रकार पैदाइश का आरम्भ किया। फिर अल्लाह पश्चात्वर्ती उठान उठाएगा। निश्चय ही अल्लाह को हर चीज़ की सामर्थ्य प्राप्त है
He punishes whom He wills and has mercy upon whom He wills, and to Him you will be returned.
Jissay chahaye azab keray jiss per chahaye reham keray sab ussi ki taraf lotaye jao gay.
वह जिसे चाहे यातना दे और जिस पर चाहे दया करे। और उसी की ओर तुम्हें पलटकर जाना है।"
And you will not cause failure [to Allah ] upon the earth or in the heaven. And you have not other than Allah any protector or any helper.
Tum na to zamin mein Allah Taalaa ko aajiz ker saktay ho na aasman mein Allah Taalaa kay siwa tumhara koi waali hai na madadgaar.
तुम न तो धरती में क़ाबू से बाहर निकल सकते हो और न आकाश में। और अल्लाह से हटकर न तो तुम्हारा कोई मित्र है और न सहायक
And the ones who disbelieve in the signs of Allah and the meeting with Him - those have despaired of My mercy, and they will have a painful punishment.
Jo log Allah Taalaa ki aayaton aur uss ki mulaqat ko bhulatay hain woh meri rehmat say na umeed ho jayen aur unn kay liye dard naak azab hai.
और जिन लोगों ने अल्लाह की आयतों और उस से मिलने का इनकार किया, वही लोग हैं जो मेरी दयालुता से निराश हुए और वही हैं जिन के लिए दुखद यातना है। -
And the answer of Abraham's people was not but that they said, "Kill him or burn him," but Allah saved him from the fire. Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.
Unn ki qom ka jawab ba-juz iss kay kuch na tha kay kehney lagay kay issay maar dalo ya issay jala do. Aakhirish Allah ney unhen aag say bacha liya iss mein eman walay logon kay liye boht si nishaniyan hain.
फिर उन की क़ौम के लोगों का उत्तर इस के सिवा और कुछ न था कि उन्होंने कहा, "मार डालो उसे या जला दो उसे!" अंततः अल्लाह ने उसको आग से बचा लिया। निश्चय ही इसमें उन लोगों के लिए निशानियाँ हैं, जो ईमान लाएँ
And [Abraham] said, "You have only taken, other than Allah , idols as [a bond of] affection among you in worldly life. Then on the Day of Resurrection you will deny one another and curse one another, and your refuge will be the Fire, and you will not have any helpers."
( hazrat ibrahim alh-e-salam ney ) kaha kay tum ney jin buton ki parastish Allah kay siwa ki hai unhen tum ney apni aapas ki duniyawi dosti ki bina thera li hai tum sab qayamat kay din aik doosray say kufur kerney lago gay aur aik doosray per lanat kerney lago gay. Aur tumhara sab ka thikana dozakh hoga aur tumhara koi madadgaar na hoga.
और उस ने कहा, "अल्लाह से हटकर तुम ने कुछ मूर्तियों को केवल सांसारिक जीवन में अपने पारस्परिक प्रेम के कारण पकड़ रखा है। फिर क़ियामत के दिन तुम में से एक-दूसरे का इनकार करेगा और तुम में से एक-दूसरे पर लानत करेगा। तुम्हारा ठौर-ठिकाना आग है और तुम्हारा कोई सहायक न होगा।"
And Lot believed him. [Abraham] said, "Indeed, I will emigrate to [the service of] my Lord. Indeed, He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
Pus hazrat ibrahim ( alh-e-salam ) per hazrat loot ( alh-e-salam ) eman laye aur kehnay lagay kay mein apnay rab ki taraf hijrat kerney wala hun. Woh bara hi ghalib aur hakeem hai.
फिर लूत ने उस की बात मानी और उस ने कहा, "निस्संदेह मैं अपने रब की ओर हिजरत करता हूँ। निस्संदेह वह अत्यन्त प्रभुत्वशाली, तत्वदर्शी है।"
And We gave to Him Isaac and Jacob and placed in his descendants prophethood and scripture. And We gave him his reward in this world, and indeed, he is in the Hereafter among the righteous.
Aur hum ney unhen ( ibrahim ko ) ishaq-o-yaqoob ( alheem-us-salam ) ata kiye aur hum ney naboowat aur kitab unn ki aulad mein hi kerdi aur hum ney duniya mein bhi ussay sawab diya aur aakhirat mein to woh saleh logon mein say hai.
और हम ने उसे इसहाक़ और याक़ूब प्रदान किए और उस की संतति में नुबूवत (पैग़म्बरी) और किताब का सिलसिला जारी किया और हम ने उसे संसार में भी उस का अच्छा प्रतिदान प्रदान किया। और निश्चय ही वह आख़िरत में अच्छे लोगों में से होगा
And when Our messengers came to Abraham with the good tidings, they said, "Indeed, we will destroy the people of that Lot's city. Indeed, its people have been wrongdoers."
Aur jab humaray bhejay huyey farishtay hazrat ibrahim ( alh-e-salam ) kay pass bisharat ley ker phonchay kehnay lagay kay iss basti walon ko hum halak kerney walay hain yaqeenan yahan kay rehney walay gunehgaar hain.
हमारे भेजे हुए जब इबराहीम के पास शुभ सूचना लेकर आए तो उन्होंने कहा, "हम इस बस्ती के लोगों को विनष्ट करने वाले हैं। निस्संदेह इस बस्ती के लोग ज़ालिम हैं।"
[Abraham] said, "Indeed, within it is Lot." They said, "We are more knowing of who is within it. We will surely save him and his family, except his wife. She is to be of those who remain behind."
( hazrat ibrahim alh-e-salam ney ) kaha iss mein to loot ( alh-e-salam ) hain farishton ney kaha yahan jo hain hum unhen ba-khoobi jantay hain. Loot ( alh-e-salam ) ko aur uss kay khandan ko siwaye uss ki biwi kay hum bacha len gay albatta woh aurat peechay reh janey walon mein say hai.
उस ने कहाँ, "वहाँ तो लूत मौजूद है।" वे बोले, "जो कोई भी वहाँ है, हम भली-भाँति जानते हैं। हम उसको और उस के घर वालों को बचा लेंगे, सिवाय उस की स्त्री के। वह पीछे रह जाने वालों में से है।"
And indeed, among his kind was Abraham,
Aur uss ( nooh alh-e-salam ki ) tabeydaari kerney walon mein say ( hi ) ibrahim ( alh-e-salam bhi ) thay.
और इबराहीम भी उसी के सहधर्मियों में से था।
When he came to his Lord with a sound heart
Jabkay apany rab kay pass bey-aib dil laye.
याद करो, जब वह अपने रब के समक्ष भला-चंगा हृदय लेकर आया;
[And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship?
Unhon ney apnay baap aur apni qom say kaha kay tum kiya pooj rahey ho?
जबकि उस ने अपने बाप और अपनी क़ौम के लोगों से कहा, "तुम किस चीज़ की पूजा करते हो?
Is it falsehood [as] gods other than Allah you desire?
Kiya tum Allah kay siwa gharay huyey maboob chahtay ho?
क्या अल्लाह से हटकर मनघड़ंत उपास्यों को चाह रहे हो?
Then what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds?"
To yeh ( batlao kay ) tum ney rab-ul-aalameen ko kiya samjh rakha hai?
आख़िर सारे संसार के रब के विषय में तुम्हारा क्या गुमान है?"
And he cast a look at the stars
Abb ibrahim ( alh-e-salam ) ney aik nigah sitaron ki taraf uthaee.
फिर उस ने एक दृष्टि तारों पर डाली
And said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill."
Aur kaha mein to beemar hun.
और कहा, "मैं तो निढाल हूँ।"
So they turned away from him, departing.
Iss per woh sab uss say mun moray huyey wapis chalay gaye.
अतएव वे उसे छोड़कर चले गए पीठ फेरकर
Then he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat?
Aap ( chup chupatay ) unn kay maboodon kay pass gaye aur farmaney lagay tum khatay kiyon nahi?
फिर वह आँख बचाकर उन के देवताओं की ओर गया और कहा, "क्या तुम खाते नहीं?
What is [wrong] with you that you do not speak?"
Tumhen kiya hogaya kay baat tak nahi kertay.
तुम्हें क्या हुआ है कि तुम बोलते नहीं?"
And he turned upon them a blow with [his] right hand.
Phir to ( poori qooat kay sath ) dayen hath say unhen maarney per pal paray.
फिर वह भरपूर हाथ मारते हुए उन पर पिल पड़ा
Then the people came toward him, hastening.
Woh ( butt parast ) doray bhagay aap ki taraf mutawajja huyey.
फिर वे लोग झपटते हुए उस की ओर आए
He said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve,
To aap ney farmaya tum enhen poojtay ho jinhen ( khud ) tum tarashtay ho.
उस ने कहा, "क्या तुम उन को पूजते हो, जिन्हें स्वयं तराशते हो,
While Allah created you and that which you do?"
Halankay tumhen aur tumhari banaee hui cheezon ko Allah hi ney peda kiya hai.
जबकि अल्लाह ने तुम्हे भी पैदा किया है और उन को भी, जिन्हें तुम बनाते हो?"
They said, "Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire."
Woh kehney lagay iss kay liye aik makan banao aur iss ( dekakti hui ) aag mein issay daal do.
वे बोले, "उन के लिए एक मकान (अर्थात अग्नि-कुंड) तैयार करके उसे भड़कती आग में डाल दो!"
And they intended for him a plan, but We made them the most debased.
Unhon ney to iss ( ibrahim alh-e-salam ) kay sath makar kerna chaha lekin hum ney unhi ko neecha ker diya.
अतः उन्होंने उस के साथ एक चाल चलनी चाही, किन्तु हम ने उन्हीं को नीचा दिखा दिया
And [then] he said, "Indeed, I will go to [where I am ordered by] my Lord; He will guide me.
Aur uss ( ibrahim alh-e-salam ) ney kaha mein to hijrat kerkay apnay perwerdigar ki taraf janey wala hun. Woh zaroor meri rehnumaee keray ga.
उस ने कहा, "मैं अपने रब की ओर जा रहा हूँ, वह मेरा मार्गदर्शन करेगा
