The example of what they spend in this worldly life is like that of a wind containing frost which strikes the harvest of a people who have wronged themselves and destroys it. And Allah has not wronged them, but they wrong themselves.
Yeh kuffaar jo kharach ikhraajaat keren uss ki misal yeh hai kay aik tund hawa chali jiss mein pala tha jo zalimon ki kheti per para aur ussay tehus nehus ker diya. Allah Taalaa ney unn per zulm nahi kiya bulkay woh khud apni janon per zulm kertay thay.
वे इस दुनिया की ज़िंदगी में जो कुछ ख़र्च करते हैं उसकी मिसाल उस तूफ़ानी हवा की सी है जिसमें सख़्त सर्दी हो और वह उन लोगों की खेती पर चले जिन्होंने अपने ऊपर ज़ुल्म किया है, फिर वह उसको बरबाद कर दे, अल्लाह ने उन पर ज़ुल्म नहीं किया; बल्कि वह ख़ुद अपनी जानों पर ज़ुल्म करते हैं।
And never is it for a believer to kill a believer except by mistake. And whoever kills a believer by mistake - then the freeing of a believing slave and a compensation payment presented to the deceased's family [is required] unless they give [up their right as] charity. But if the deceased was from a people at war with you and he was a believer - then [only] the freeing of a believing slave; and if he was from a people with whom you have a treaty - then a compensation payment presented to his family and the freeing of a believing slave. And whoever does not find [one or cannot afford to buy one] - then [instead], a fast for two months consecutively, [seeking] acceptance of repentance from Allah . And Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.
Kissi momin ko doosray momin ka qatal ker dena zaiba nahi magar ghalati say hojaye ( to aur baat hai ) jo shaks kissi musalman ko bila qasad maar dalay uss per aik musalman ghulam ki gardan aazad kerna aur maqtool kay azizon ko khoon baha phonchana hai haan yeh aur baat hai kay woh log bator sadqa moaf ker denaur maqtool agar tumhari dushman qom ka ho aur ho woh musalman to sirf aik momin ghulam ki gardan aazad kerni lazmi hai. Aur agar maqtool uss qom say ho kay tum mein aur unn mein ehad-o-paymaan hai to khoon baha lazim hai jo uss kay kunbay walon ko phonchaya jaye aur aik musalman ghulam ka aazad kerna bhi ( zaroori hai ) pus jo na paye uss kay zimmay do maheeney kay lagataar raozay hain Allah Taalaa say bakshwaney kay liye aur Allah Taalaa bakhoobi janney wala aur hikmat wala hai.
और किसी मुसलमान का काम नहीं कि वह मुसलमान को क़त्ल करे मगर यह कि ग़लती से ऐसा हो जाए, और जो शख़्स किसी मुसलमान को ग़लती से क़त्ल कर दे तो वह एक मुसलमान ग़ुलाम को आज़ाद करे और मक़तूल के वारिसों को ख़ून बहा दे मगर यह कि वे माफ़ कर दें, फिर अगर (वह मक़तूल) ऐसी क़ौम से था जो तुम्हारी दुश्मन है और वह ख़ुद मुसलमान था तो वह एक मुसलमान ग़ुलाम को आज़ाद करे, और अगर वह ऐसी क़ौम में से था कि तुम्हारे और उसके दरमियान मुआहिदा है तो वह उसके वारिसों को ख़ून बहा दे और एक मुसलमान (ग़ुलाम) को आज़ाद करे, फिर जिस शख़्स को मयस्सर न हो तो वह लगातार दो महीने तक रोज़े रखे, यह तौबा (की शक्ल) है अल्लाह की तरफ़ से, और अल्लाह जानने वाला, हिकमत वाला है।
O you who have believed, do not violate the rites of Allah or [the sanctity of] the sacred month or [neglect the marking of] the sacrificial animals and garlanding [them] or [violate the safety of] those coming to the Sacred House seeking bounty from their Lord and [His] approval. But when you come out of ihram, then [you may] hunt. And do not let the hatred of a people for having obstructed you from al-Masjid al-Haram lead you to transgress. And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.
Aey eman walo! Allah Taalaa kay shaaeer ki bey hurmati na kero na adab walay maheenon ki na haram mein qurban honey walay aur pattay pehnaye gaye janwaron ki jo kaaba ko ja rahey hon aur na unn logon ki jo bait-ullah kay qasad say apney rab taalaa kay fazal aur uss ki raza joee ki niyat say ja rahey hon haan jab tum ehraam utaar dalo to shikar khel saktay ho jin logon ney tumhen masjid-e-haram say roka tha unn ki dushmani tumhen iss baat per aamaadah na keray kay tum hadd say guzar jao neki aur perhezgari mein aik doosray ki imdad kertay raho aur gunah aur zulm-o-ziyadti mein madad na kero aur Allah Taalaa say dartay raho be-shak Allah Taalaa sakht saza denay wala hai.
ऐ ईमान वालो! बे-हुरमती न करो अल्लाह की निशानियों की और न हुरमत वाले महीनों की और न हरम में क़ुर्बानी वाले जानवरों की और न पट्टे बंधे हुए नियाज़ के जानवरों की और न हुरमत वाले घर की तरफ़ आने वालों की जो अपने रब का फ़ज़्ल और उसकी ख़ुशनूदी ढूँढने निकले हैं, और जब तुम एहराम की हालत से बाहर आ जाओ तो शिकार करो, और किसी क़ौम की दुश्मनी कि उसने तुमको मस्जिदे-हराम से रोका है तुमको इस पर न उभारे कि तुम ज़्यादती करने लगो, तुम नेकी और तक़वे में एक-दूसरे की मदद करो और गुनाह और ज़्यादती में एक-दूसरे की मदद न करो और अल्लाह से डरो, बेशक अल्लाह सख़्त अज़ाब देने वाला है।
O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm for Allah , witnesses in justice, and do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do.
Aey eman walo! Tum Allah ki khatir haq per qaeem hojao raasti aur insaf kay sath gawahi denay walay bann jao kissi qom ki adawat tumhen khilaf-e-adal per aamaada na ker dey adal kiya kero jo perhezgari kay ziyada qarib hai aur Allah Taalaa say dartay raho yaqeen mano kay Allah Taalaa tumharay aemaal say ba khabar hai.
ऐ ईमान वालो! अल्लाह के लिए क़ायम रहने वाले, इंसाफ़ के साथ गवाही देने वाले बनो, और किसी गिरोह की दुश्मनी तुमको इस पर न उभारे कि तुम इंसाफ़ न करो (बल्कि तुम) इंसाफ़ करो यही तक़वे से ज़्यादा क़रीब है और अल्लाह से डरो, बेशक अल्लाह को ख़बर है जो कुछ तुम करते हो।
Say, "O People of the Scripture, do not exceed limits in your religion beyond the truth and do not follow the inclinations of a people who had gone astray before and misled many and have strayed from the soundness of the way."
Keh dijiye aey ehal-e-kitab! Apney deen mein na haq ghuloov aur ziyadti na kero aur unn logon ki nafsani khuwaishon perwi na kero jo pehlay say behak chukay hain aur bohton ko behka bhi chukay hain aur seedhi raah say hatt gaye hain.
आप कह दीजिए कि ऐ अहले-किताब! अपने दीन में हक़ को छोड़ कर हद से आगे न निकलो और उन लोगों के ख़्यालात की पैरवी न करो जो उससे पहले गुमराह हुए और जिन्होंने बहुत-से लोगों को गुमराह किया और वे सीधी राह से भटक गए।
And your Lord is the Free of need, the possessor of mercy. If He wills, he can do away with you and give succession after you to whomever He wills, just as He produced you from the descendants of another people.
Aur aap ka rab bilkul ghani hai rehmat wala hai agar woh chahaye to tum sab ko utha ley aur tumharay baad jiss ko chahaye tumhari jagah aabad keray jaisa kay tum ko aik doosri qom ki nasal say peda kiya hai.
और आपका रब बेनियाज़ रहमत वाला है, अगर वह चाहे तो तुम सबको उठा ले और तुम्हारे बाद जिसको चाहे तुम्हारी जगह ले आए जिस तरह उसने तुमको पैदा किया दूसरों की नस्ल से।
And he turned away from them and said, "O my people, I had certainly conveyed to you the messages of my Lord and advised you, so how could I grieve for a disbelieving people?"
Uss waqt shoaib ( alh-e-salam ) unn say mun mor ker chalay aur farmaney lagay kay aey meri qom! Mein ney tum ko apney perwerdigar kay ehkaam phoncha diye thay aur mein ney tumhari khair khuwahi ki. Phir mein inn kafir logon per kiyon ranj keroon.
उस वक़्त शुऐब (अलै॰) उनसे मुँह मोड़कर चले और कहा कि ऐ मेरी क़ौम! मैं तुमको अपने रब के पैग़ामात पहुँचा चुका और तुम्हारी ख़ैर-ख़्वाही कर चुका, अब मैं क्या अफ़सोस करूँ मुनकिरों पर।
And We took the Children of Israel across the sea; then they came upon a people intent in devotion to [some] idols of theirs. They said, "O Moses, make for us a god just as they have gods." He said, "Indeed, you are a people behaving ignorantly.
Aur hum ney bani israeel ko darya kay paar utaar diya. Pus unn logon ka aik qom per guzar hua jo apney chand button say lagay bethay thay kehney lagay aey musa! Humaray liye bhi aik mabood aisa hi muqarrar ker dijiye! Jaisay inn kay yeh mabood hain. Aap ney farmaya kay waqaee tum logon mein bari jahalat hai.
और हमने बनी-इस्राईल को समुंदर के पार उतार दिया फिर उनका गुज़र एक ऐसी क़ौम पर हुआ जो अपने बुतों (की इबादत) पर जमी हुई थी, उन्होंने कहाः ऐ मूसा! हमारी इबादत के लिए भी एक बुत बना दो जैसे इनके बुत हैं, मूसा (अलै॰) ने कहाः तुम तो बड़े जाहिल लोग हो।
That is because Allah would not change a favor which He had bestowed upon a people until they change what is within themselves. And indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing.
Yeh iss liye kay Allah aisa nahi kay kissi qom per koi nemat inam farma ker phir badal dey jab tak kay woh khud apni uss halat ko na badal den jo kay unn ki apni thi aur yeh kay Allah sunnay wala hai.
यह इस वजह से हुआ कि अल्लाह उस ईनाम को जो वह किसी क़ौम पर करता है उस वक़्त तक नहीं बदलता जब तक कि उसको ख़ुद न बदल दें जो उनके दिलों में है, और बेशक अल्लाह सुनने वाला, जानने वाला है।
If you [have reason to] fear from a people betrayal, throw [their treaty] back to them, [putting you] on equal terms. Indeed, Allah does not like traitors.
Aur agar tujhay kissi qom ki khayanat ka darr ho to barabari ki haalat mein unn ka ehad naama tor dey Allah Taalaa khayanat kerney walon ko pasand nahi farmata.
और अगर आपको किसी क़ौम से बद-अहदी का डर हो तो उनका अहद उनकी तरफ़ फेंक दो इस तरह कि तुम और वे बराबर हो जाएं, बेशक अल्लाह बद-अहदों को पसंद नहीं करता।
Fight them; Allah will punish them by your hands and will disgrace them and give you victory over them and satisfy the breasts of a believing people
Inn say tum jang kero Allah Taalaa enhen tumharay hathon azab dey ga enhen zaleel-o-ruswa keray ga tumehn inn per madad dey ga aur musalmanon kay kalejay thanday keray ga.
उनसे लड़ो, अल्लाह तुम्हारे हाथों उनको सज़ा देगा और उनको रुसवा करेगा और तुमको उन पर ग़लबा देगा और मुसलमान लोगों के सीनों को ठंडा करेगा।
Say, "Observe what is in the heavens and earth." But of no avail will be signs or warners to a people who do not believe
Aap keh dijiye kay tum ghor kero kay kiya kiya cheezen aasmanon mein aur zamin mein hain aur jo log eman nahi latay unn ko nishaniyan aur dhamkiyan kuch faeeda nahi phonchatin.
कह दीजिए कि आसमानों और ज़मीन में जो कुछ है उसे देखो, और निशानियाँ और डरावे उन लोगों को फ़ायदा नहीं पहुँचाते जो ईमान नहीं लाते।
He said, "You will not receive food that is provided to you except that I will inform you of its interpretation before it comes to you. That is from what my Lord has taught me. Indeed, I have left the religion of a people who do not believe in Allah , and they, in the Hereafter, are disbelievers.
Yousuf ney kaha tumhen jo khana diya jata hai uss kay tumharay pass phonchney say pehlay hi mein tumhen iss ki tabeer batla doon ga. Yeh sab uss ilm ki badolat hai jo mujhay meray rab ney sikhaya hai mein ney unn logon ka mazhab chor diya hai jo Allah per eman nahi rakhtay aur aakhirat kay bhi munkir hain.
यूसुफ़ (अलै॰) ने कहाः जो खाना तुमको मिलता है उसके आने से पहले मैं तुम्हें इन ख़्वाबों की ताबीर बता दूँगा, यह उस इल्म में से है जो मेरे रब ने मुझे सिखाया है, मैंने उन लोगों के मज़हब को छोड़ा जो अल्लाह पर ईमान नहीं लाते और वे लोग आख़िरत के मुनकिर हैं।
And those who disbelieved say, "Why has a sign not been sent down to him from his Lord?" You are only a warner, and for every people is a guide.
Aur kafir kehtay hain kay iss per iss kay rab ki taraf say koi nishani ( moajzza ) kiyon nahi utari gaee. Baat yeh hai kay aap to sirf aagah ker denay walay hain aur her qom kay liye hadi hai.
और जिन लोगों ने इनकार किया वे कहते हैं कि इस शख़्स पर उसके रब की तरफ़ से कोई निशानी क्यों नहीं उतरी, आप तो सिर्फ़ ख़बरदार कर देने वाले हो, और हर क़ौम के लिए एक राह बताने वाला है।
They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals,
Unhon ney jawab diya kay hum mujrim qom ki taraf bhejay gaye hain.
उन्होंने कहा कि हम एक मुजरिम क़ौम की तरफ़ भेजे गए हैं।
Until, when he came to the rising of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom We had not made against it any shield.
Yahan tak kay jab sooraj nikalney ki jagah tak phoncha to ussay aik aisi qom per nikalta hua paya kay unn kay liye hum ney uss say aur koi oat nahi banaee.
यहाँ तक कि जब वह सूर्योदय स्थल पर जा पहुँचा तो उस ने उसे ऐसे लोगों पर उदित होते पाया जिन के लिए हम ने सूर्य के मुक़ाबले में कोई ओट नहीं रखी थी
And that which she was worshipping other than Allah had averted her [from submission to Him]. Indeed, she was from a disbelieving people."
Ussay unhon ney rok rakha tha jin ki woh Allah kay siwa perastish kerti rahi thi yaqeenan woh kafir logon mein say thi.
अल्लाह से हटकर वह दूसरे को पूजती थी। इसी चीज़ ने उसे रोक रखा था। निस्संदेह वह एक इनकार करने वाली क़ौम में से थी
Say to those who remained behind of the bedouins, "You will be called to [face] a people of great military might; you may fight them, or they will submit. So if you obey, Allah will give you a good reward; but if you turn away as you turned away before, He will punish you with a painful punishment."
Aap peechay choray huye badviyon say kehdo kay unqareeb tum aik sakht jangjoo qom ki taraf bulaye jao gay kay tum unn say laro gay ya woh musalman hojayen gay pus agar tum ita’at kero gay to Allah tumhen boht behtar badla dey ga aur agar tum ney mun pher liya jaisa kay iss say pehlay tum mun pher chukay ho to woh tumhen dard-naak azab dey ga.
पीछे रह जाने वाले बद्दूओं से कहना, "शीघ्र ही तुम्हें ऐसे लोगों की ओर बुलाया जाएगा जो बड़े युद्धवीर हैं कि तुम उन से लड़ो या वे आज्ञाकारी हो जाएँ। तो यदि तुम आज्ञाकारी हो जाएँ। तो यदि तुम आज्ञापालन करोगे तो अल्लाह तुम्हें अच्छा बदला प्रदान करेगा। किन्तु यदि तुम फिर गए, जैसे पहले फिर गए थे, तो वह तुम्हें दुखद यातना देगा।"
O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name of disobedience after [one's] faith. And whoever does not repent - then it is those who are the wrongdoers.
Aey eman walo! Mard doosray mardon ka mazak na urayen mumkin hai kay yeh unn say behtar ho aur na orten orton ka mazak urayen mumkin hai kay yeh unn say behtar hon aur aapas mein aik doosray ko aib na lagao aur na kissi ko buray laqab do eman kay baad fisq bura naam hai aur jo toba na keren wohi log zalim hain.
ऐ लोगो, जो ईमान लाए हो! न पुरुषों का कोई गिरोह दूसरे पुरुषों की हँसी उड़ाए, सम्भव है वे उन से अच्छे हों और न स्त्रियाँ स्त्रियों की हँसी उड़ाए, सम्भव है वे उन से अच्छी हों, और न अपनों पर ताने कसो और न आपस में एक-दूसरे को बुरी उपाधियों से पुकारो। ईमान के पश्चात अवज्ञाकारी का नाम जुडना बहुत ही बुरा है। और जो व्यक्ति बाज़ न आए, तो ऐसे ही व्यक्ति ज़ालिम हैं
They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals
Unhon ney jawab diya kay hum gunagar qom ki taraf bhejay gaye hain.
उन्होंने कहा, "हम एक अपराधी क़ौम की ओर भेजे गए हैं;
