سورة الملك

شروع کرتا ہوں اللہ تعا لٰی کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے ۔

In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

بہت بابرکت ہے وہ ( اللہ ) جس کے ہاتھ میں بادشاہی ہے اور ہرچیز پر قدرت رکھنے والا ہے ۔

Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion, and He is over all things competent -

جس نے موت اور حیات کو اس لئے پیدا کیا کہ تمہیں آزمائے کہ تم میں اچھے کام کون کرتا ہے ، اور وہ غالب ( اور ) بخشنے والا ہے ۔

[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed - and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving -

جس نے سات آسمان اوپر تلے بنائے ۔ ( تو اے دیکھنے والے ) اللہ رحمٰن کی پیدائش میں کوئی بے ضابطگی نہ دیکھے گا دوبارہ ( نظریں ڈال کر ) دیکھ لے کیا کوئی شگاف بھی نظر آ رہا ہے ۔

[And] who created seven heavens in layers. You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any inconsistency. So return [your] vision [to the sky]; do you see any breaks?

پھر دوہرا کر دو دو بار دیکھ لے تیری نگاہ تیری طرف ذلیل ( و عاجز ) ہو کر تھکی ہوئی لوٹ آئے گی ۔

Then return [your] vision twice again. [Your] vision will return to you humbled while it is fatigued.

بیشک ہم نے آسمان دنیا کو چراغوں ( ستاروں ) سے آراستہ کیا اور انہیں شیطانوں کے مارنے کا ذریعہ بنا دیا اور شیطانوں کے لئے ہم نے ( دوزخ کا جلانے والا ) عذاب تیار کر دیا ۔

And We have certainly beautified the nearest heaven with stars and have made [from] them what is thrown at the devils and have prepared for them the punishment of the Blaze.

اور اپنے رب کے ساتھ کفر کرنے والوں کے لئے جہنم کا عذاب ہے اور وہ کیا ہی بری جگہ ہے ۔

And for those who disbelieved in their Lord is the punishment of Hell, and wretched is the destination.

جب اس میں یہ ڈالے جائیں گے تو اس کی بڑے زور کی آوازیں سنیں گے اور وہ جوش مار رہی ہوگی ۔

When they are thrown into it, they hear from it a [dreadful] inhaling while it boils up.

قریب ہے کہ ( ابھی ) غصے کے مارے پھٹ جائے جب کبھی اس میں کوئی گروہ ڈالا جائے گا اس سے جہنم کے داروغے پوچھیں گے کہ کیا تمہارے پاس ڈرانے والا کوئی نہیں آیا تھا؟

It almost bursts with rage. Every time a company is thrown into it, its keepers ask them, "Did there not come to you a warner?"

وہ جواب دیں گے کہ بیشک آیا تھا لیکن ہم نے اسے جھٹلایا اور ہم نے کہا اللہ تعالٰی نے کچھ بھی نازل نہیں فرمایا ۔ تم بہت بڑی گمراہی میں ہی ہو ۔

They will say," Yes, a warner had come to us, but we denied and said, ' Allah has not sent down anything. You are not but in great error.' "

اور کہیں گے کہ اگر ہم سنتے ہوتے یا عقل رکھتے ہوتے تو دوزخیوں میں ( شریک ) نہ ہوتے ۔

And they will say, "If only we had been listening or reasoning, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze."

پس انہوں نے اپنے جرم کا اقبال کر لیا اب یہ دوزخی دفع ہوں ( دور ہوں )

And they will admit their sin, so [it is] alienation for the companions of the Blaze.

بیشک جو لوگ اپنے پروردگار سے غائبانہ طور پر ڈرتے رہتے ہیں ان کے لئے بخشش ہے اور بڑا ثواب ہے ۔

Indeed, those who fear their Lord unseen will have forgiveness and great reward.

تم اپنی باتوں کو چھپاؤ یا ظاہر کرو وہ تو سینوں کی پوشیدگیوں کو بھی بخوبی جانتا ہے ۔

And conceal your speech or publicize it; indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.

کیا وہی نہ جانے جس نے پیدا کیا ؟پھر وہ باریک بین اور باخبربھی ہو ۔

Does He who created not know, while He is the Subtle, the Acquainted?

وہ ذات جس نے تمہارے لئے زمین کو پست و مطیع کر دیا تاکہ تم اس کی راہوں میں چلتے پھرتے رہو اور اللہ کی روزیاں کھاؤ ( پیو ) اسی کی طرف ( تمہیں ) جی کر اٹھ کھڑا ہونا ہے ۔

It is He who made the earth tame for you - so walk among its slopes and eat of His provision - and to Him is the resurrection.

کیا تم اس بات سے بے خوف ہوگئے ہو کہ آسمانوں والا تمہیں زمین میں نہ دھنسا دے اور اچانک زمین لرزنے لگے ۔

Do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not cause the earth to swallow you and suddenly it would sway?

یا کیا تم اس بات سے نڈر ہوگئے ہو کہ آسمانوں والا تم پر پتھر برسادے؟ پھر تمہیں معلوم ہو ہی جائے گا کہ میرا ڈرانا کیسا تھا ۔

Or do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not send against you a storm of stones? Then you would know how [severe] was My warning.

اور ان سے پہلے لوگوں نے بھی جھٹلایا تھا تو دیکھو ان پر میرا عذاب کیسا ہوا؟

And already had those before them denied, and how [terrible] was My reproach.

کیا یہ اپنےاوپر پر کھولے ہوئے اور ( کبھی کبھی ) سمیٹے ہوئے ( اڑنے والے ) پرندوں کو نہیں دیکھتے ، انہیں ( اللہ ) رحمن ہی ( ہوا و فضا میں ) تھامے ہوئے ہے بیشک ہرچیز اس کی نگاہ میں ہے ۔

Do they not see the birds above them with wings outspread and [sometimes] folded in? None holds them [aloft] except the Most Merciful. Indeed He is, of all things, Seeing.

سوائے اللہ کے تمہارا وہ کون سا لشکر ہے جو تمہاری مدد کر سکے کافر تو سراسر دھو کے ہی میں ہیں ۔

Or who is it that could be an army for you to aid you other than the Most Merciful? The disbelievers are not but in delusion.

اگر اللہ تعالٰی اپنی روزی روک لے تو بتاؤ کون ہے جو پھر تمہیں روزی دے گا بلکہ ( کافر ) تو سرکشی اور بدکنے پر اڑ گئے ہیں ۔

Or who is it that could provide for you if He withheld His provision? But they have persisted in insolence and aversion.

اچھا وہ شخص زیادہ ہدایت والا ہے جو اپنے منہ کے بل اوندھا ہو کر چلے یا وہ جو سیدھا ( پیروں کے بل ) راہ راست پر چلا ہو؟

Then is one who walks fallen on his face better guided or one who walks erect on a straight path?

کہہ دیجئے کہ وہی ( اللہ ) ہے جس نے تمہیں پیدا کیا اور تمہارے کان آنکھیں اور دل بنائے تم بہت ہی کم شکر گزاری کرتے ہو ۔

Say, "It is He who has produced you and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful."

کہہ دیجئے! کہ وہی ہے جس نے تمہیں زمین میں پھیلا دیا اور اس کی طرف تم اکٹھے کئے جاؤ گے ۔

Say, " It is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered."

۔ ( کافر ) پوچھتے ہیں کہ وہ وعدہ کب ظاہر ہوگا اگر تم سچے ہو ( تو بتاؤ؟ )

And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?"

آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ اس کا علم تو اللہ ہی کو ہے میں تو صرف کھلے طور پر آگاہ کر دینے والا ہوں ۔

Say, "The knowledge is only with Allah , and I am only a clear warner."

جب یہ لوگ اس وعدے کو قریب تر پا لیں گے اس وقت ان کافروں کے چہرے بگڑ جائیں گے اور کہہ دیا جائے گا کہ یہی ہے جسے تم طلب کیا کرتے تھے ۔

But when they see it approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will be distressed, and it will be said, "This is that for which you used to call."

آپ کہہ دیجئے! اچھا اگر مجھے اور میرے ساتھیوں کو اللہ تعالٰی ہلاک کر دے یا ہم پر رحم کرے ( بہر صورت یہ تو بتاؤ ) کہ کافروں کو دردناک عذاب سے کون بچائے گا؟

Say, [O Muhammad], "Have you considered: whether Allah should cause my death and those with me or have mercy upon us, who can protect the disbelievers from a painful punishment?"

آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ وہی رحمٰن ہے ۔ ہم تو اس پر ایمان لاچکے اور اسی پر ہمارا بھروسہ ہے تمہیں عنقریب معلوم ہو جائے گا کہ صریح گمراہی میں کون ہے؟

Say, "He is the Most Merciful; we have believed in Him, and upon Him we have relied. And you will [come to] know who it is that is in clear error."

آپ کہہ دیجئے! کہ اچھا یہ تو بتاؤ کہ اگر تمہارے ( پینے کا ) پانی زمین میں اتر جائے تو کون ہے جو تمہارے لئے نتھرا ہوا پانی لائے؟

Say, "Have you considered: if your water was to become sunken [into the earth], then who could bring you flowing water?"
