In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Shuroo Allah kay naam say jo bara meharban nehayat reham kerney wala hai
अल्लाह के नाम से जो बड़ा कृपालु और अत्यन्त दयावान है।
Has there [not] come upon man a period of time when he was not a thing [even] mentioned?
Yaqeenan guzra hai insan per ik waqat zamanay mein jab kay yeh koi qabe e zikar chez na tha
क्या मनुष्य पर काल-खंड का ऐसा समय भी बीता है कि वह कोई ऐसी चीज़ न था जिस का उल्लेख किया जाता?
Indeed, We created man from a sperm-drop mixture that We may try him; and We made him hearing and seeing.
Besahak hum ney insan ko milay julay nutfay say imtehan kay liye paida kiya aur uss ko sunta dekhta banaya
हम ने मनुष्य को एक मिश्रित वीर्य से पैदा किया, उसे उलटते-पलटते रहे, फिर हम ने उसे सुनने और देखने वाला बना दिया
Indeed, We guided him to the way, be he grateful or be he ungrateful.
Hum ney ussay raah dikhai abb khua wo shukar guzar banay khua na shukra
हम ने उसे मार्ग दिखाया, अब चाहे वह कृतज्ञ बने या अकृतज्ञ
Indeed, We have prepared for the disbelievers chains and shackles and a blaze.
Yaqeenaa hum ney kafiron kay liye zanjeeron aur toq aur sholon wali aag tayar ker rakhi hay
हम ने इनकार करने वालों के लिए ज़ंजीरें और तौक़ और भड़कती हुई आग तैयार कर रखी है
Indeed, the righteous will drink from a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of Kafur,
Besahk neek log wo jam piyein gay jiss ki azmaish kafiron ki hay
निश्चय ही वफ़ादार लोग ऐसे जाम से पिएँगे जिस में काफ़ूर का मिश्रण होगा,
A spring of which the [righteous] servants of Allah will drink; they will make it gush forth in force [and abundance].
Jo aik chesma hai jiss say Allah kay banday piyen gay uss ki nehrein nikaal ley jaengay ( jidher chahen )
उस स्रोत का क्या कहना! जिस पर बैठकर अल्लाह के बन्दे पिएँगे, इस तरह कि उसे बहा-बहाकर (जहाँ चाहेंगे) ले जाएँगे
They [are those who] fulfill [their] vows and fear a Day whose evil will be widespread.
Jo nazar poori kertay hein aur uss din say dartay hein jiss ki buraee charon taraf phel jaanay wali hia
वे नज़र (मन्नत) पूरी करते हैं और उस दिन से डरते हैं जिस की आपदा व्यापक होगी,
And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive,
Aur Allah Taalaa ki mohabat mein khana khilatay hein miskeen yateem aur qediyon ko
और वे मुहताज, अनाथ और क़ैदी को खाना उस की चाहत रखते हुए खिलाते हैं,
[Saying], "We feed you only for the countenance of Allah . We wish not from you reward or gratitude.
Hum to tumhein sirf Allah Taalaa ki raza mandi kay liye khilatay hein na tum say badla chatay hein na shuker guzari
"हम तो केवल अल्लाह की प्रसन्नता के लिए तुम्हें खिलाते हैं, तुम से न कोई बदला चाहते हैं और न कृतज्ञता ज्ञापन
Indeed, We fear from our Lord a Day austere and distressful."
Beshak hum apney perwardigar say uss din ka khof kertay hein jo udaasi aur sakhti wala hoga
"हमें तो अपने रब की ओर से एक ऐसे दिन का भय है जो त्योरी पर बल डाले हुए अत्यन्त क्रूर होगा।"
So Allah will protect them from the evil of that Day and give them radiance and happiness
Pus inhen Allah Taala ney uss din ki buraee say bacha liya aur inhen taazgi aur khushi phonchaee
अतः अल्लाह ने उस दिन की बुराई से बचा लिया और उन्हें ताज़गी और ख़ुशी प्रदान की,
And will reward them for what they patiently endured [with] a garden [in Paradise] and silk [garments].
Aut inhen inkay sabar kay badlay jannat aur reshmi libass ata farmaye
और जो उन्होंने धैर्य से काम लिया, उस के बदले में उन्हें जन्नत और रेशमी वस्त्र प्रदान किया
[They will be] reclining therein on adorned couches. They will not see therein any [burning] sun or [freezing] cold.
Yeh wahan takhton per takiey lagaey huye bethen gay na wahan aftab ki garmi dfekhein gay ja jaray ki sakhti
उस में वे तख़्तों पर टेक लगाए होंगे, वे उस में न तो सख़्त धूप देखेंगे और न सख़्त ठंड़
And near above them are its shades, and its [fruit] to be picked will be lowered in compliance.
In jannaton kay saaye un per jhukey huye hongay aur inkay ( meway aur ) gunchay neechay latkaaey huye hongay
और उस (बाग़) के साए उन पर झुके होंगे और उस के फलों के गुच्छे बिलकुल उन के वश में होंगे
And there will be circulated among them vessels of silver and cups having been [created] clear [as glass],
Aur in per chandi kay bartano aur in jaamon ka dor keraya jayega jo sheeshay kay hongay
और उन के पास चाँदी के बरतन ग़र्दिश में होंगे और प्याले
Clear glasses [made] from silver of which they have determined the measure.
Sheeshy bhi chandi kay jinko ( saqi ney ) andazay say nap rakha hoga
जो बिल्कुल शीशे हो रहे होंगे, शीशे भी चाँदी के जो ठीक अन्दाज़े करके रखे गए होंगे
And they will be given to drink a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of ginger
Aur inhein wahan wo jam pilaya jaey ga jin ki amezish zanjabeel ki hogi
और वहाँ वे एक और जाम़ पिएँगे जिस में सोंठ का मिश्रण होगा
[From] a fountain within Paradise named Salsabeel.
Jaanat ki ik nehar say jiss ka nam salsabeel hay
क्या कहना उस स्रोत का जो उस में होगा, जिस का नाम सल-सबील है
There will circulate among them young boys made eternal. When you see them, you would think them [as beautiful as] scattered pearls.
Aur inkay ird gird ghoomtey phirtay hongay wo kumsin bachay jo hamesha rehnay walay hein jab tu unhein dekhay to samjhay key wo bikhray hoey sachay moti hein
उन की सेवा में ऐसे किशोर दौड़ते रहे होंगे जो सदैव किशोर ही रहेंगे। जब तुम उन्हें देखोगे तो समझोगे कि बिखरे हुए मोती हैं
And when you look there [in Paradise], you will see pleasure and great dominion.
Tu wahan jahan kahin bhi nazar daley ga saraser nematein aur azeem-ul-shan saltanat hi dekhay ga
जब तुम वहाँ देखोगे तो तुम्हें बड़ी नेमत और विशाल राज्य दिखाई देगा
Upon the inhabitants will be green garments of fine silk and brocade. And they will be adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord will give them a purifying drink.
In kay jismoon per sabz bareek aur motay reshmi kapray hongay aur enhen chandi kay kangan ka zewar pehnaya jaeyga aur inhein unka rab pak saaf sharab pilaey ga
उन के ऊपर हरे बारीक रेशमी वस्त्र और गाढ़े रेशमी कपड़े होंगे, और उन्हें चाँदी के कंगन पहनाए जाएँगे और उन का रब उन्हें पवित्र पेय पिलाएगा
[And it will be said], "Indeed, this is for you a reward, and your effort has been appreciated."
( kaha jaeyga ) kay yeh hai teray aemal ka badla aur tumhari koshish kiqadar ki gaee
"यह है तुम्हारा बदला और तुम्हारा प्रयास क़द्र करने के योग्य है।"
Indeed, it is We who have sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Qur'an progressively.
Beshak hum ney tujh per ba tedreej quran nazil kiya hai
निश्चय ही हम ने अत्यन्त व्यवस्थित ढंग से तुम पर क़ुरआन अवतरित किया है;
So be patient for the decision of your Lord and do not obey from among them a sinner or ungrateful [disbeliever].
Pus to apney rab kay hokum per qaim rah aur in mein say kissi gunhagar ya na shukray ka kaha na maan
अतः अपने रब के हुक्म और फ़ैसले के लिए धैर्य से काम लो और उन में से किसी पापी या कृतघ्न का आज्ञापालन न करना
And mention the name of your Lord [in prayer] morning and evening
Aur apney rab kay naam ka subha o sham zikar kiya ker
और प्रातःकाल और संध्या समय अपने रब के नाम का स्मरण करो
And during the night prostrate to Him and exalt Him a long [part of the] night.
Aur raat kay waqat uss kay saamnay sajday ker aur bohat raat tak uss ki tasbeeh kiya ker
और रात के कुछ हिस्से में भी उसे सजदा करो, लम्बी-लम्बी रात तक उस की तसबीह करते रहो
Indeed, these [disbelievers] love the immediate and leave behind them a grave Day.
Behak yeh log jaldi milnay wali ( duniya ) ko chahtay hein aur apney peechay aik baray bhari din ko choray detay hein
निस्संदेह ये लोग शीघ्र प्राप्त होने वाली चीज़ (संसार) से प्रेम रखते हैं और एक भारी दिन को अपने परे छोड़ रह हैं
We have created them and strengthened their forms, and when We will, We can change their likenesses with [complete] alteration.
Hum ney inhein peda kiya aur hum ney hi in key jor aur bandhan mazboot kiey aur hum jab chahen in kay ewaz in jesay auron ko badal layen
हम ने उन्हें पैदा किया और उन के जोड़-बन्द मज़बूत किेए और हम जब चाहे उन जैसों को पूर्णतः बदल दें
Indeed, this is a reminder, so he who wills may take to his Lord a way.
Yaqeenan yeh to aik naseehat hai pus jo chahey apney rab ki raah lelay
निश्चय ही यह एक अनुस्मृति है, अब जो चाहे अपने रब की ओर मार्ग ग्रहण कर ले
And you do not will except that Allah wills. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.
Aur tum na chahogay magar yeh kay Allah Taalaa hi chahey beshak Allah Talah ilm wala ba hikmat hai
और तुम नहीं चाह सकते सिवाय इस के कि अल्लाह चाहे। निस्संदेह अल्लाह सर्वज्ञ, तत्वदर्शी है
He admits whom He wills into His mercy; but the wrongdoers - He has prepared for them a painful punishment.
Jissay chahey apni rehmat mein daakhil kerley aur zaalimon kay liye uss ney dard naak azab tayyar ker rakha hai
वह जिसे चाहता है अपनी दयालुता में दाख़िल करता है। रहे ज़ालिम, तो उन के लिए उस ने दुखद यातना तैयार कर रखी है
