Are to be gathered together for the appointment of a known Day."
zaroor jama kiye jayegey aik muqarra din kay waqt.
एक नियत समय पर इकट्ठे कर दिए जाएँगे, जिस का दिन ज्ञात और नियत है
Then indeed you, O those astray [who are] deniers,
Phir tum aey gumraho jhutlanay walon!
"फिर तुम ऐ गुमराहो, झुठलाने वालो!
Will be eating from trees of zaqqum
Albatta khanay walay ho thoher ka darakht.
ज़क्कूम के वृक्ष में से खाओगे;
And filling with it your bellies
Aur ussi say pet bharnay walay ho.
"और उसी से पेट भरोगे;
And drinking on top of it from scalding water
Phir uss per garum kholta paani peenay walay ho.
"और उस के ऊपर से खौलता हुआ पानी पीओगे;
And will drink as the drinking of thirsty camels.
Phir peenay walay bhi piyasay unton ki tarah.
"और तौंस लगे ऊँट की तरह पीओगे।"
That is their accommodation on the Day of Recompense.
Qayamat kay din unki mehmaain yeh hai.
यह बदला दिए जाने के दिन उन का पहला सत्कार होगा
We have created you, so why do you not believe?
Hum hi ney tum sab ko peda kiya hai phir tum bawer nahi kertay?
हम ने तुम्हें पैदा किया; फिर तुम सच क्यों नहीं मानते?
Have you seen that which you emit?
Acha phir yeh to batlao kay jo mani tum tapkatay ho.
तो क्या तुम ने विचार किया जो चीज़ तुम टपकाते हो?
Is it you who creates it, or are We the Creator?
kiya uss ka ( insane ) tum banatay ho ya peda kernay walay hum hi hain?
क्या तुम उसे आकार देते हो, या हम हैं आकार देने वाले?
We have decreed death among you, and We are not to be outdone
Hum hi ney tum mein mot ko mutaeyen kerdiya hai.aur iss say haray huye nahi hain.
हम ने तुम्हारे बीच मृत्यु को नियत किया है और हमारे बस से यह बाहर नहीं है
In that We will change your likenesses and produce you in that [form] which you do not know.
Kay tumhari jagah tum jaisay aur peda kerden. aur tumhen naye siray say uss aalam mein peda keren jiss say tum ( bilkul ) beykhabar ho.
कि हम तुम्हारे जैसों को बदल दें और तुम्हें ऐसी हालत में उठा खड़ा करें जिसे तुम जानते नहीं
And you have already known the first creation, so will you not remember?
Tumhen yaqeeni tor per pehli dafa ki pedaaeesh maloom hi hai phir kiyon ibrat hasil nahi kertay.
तुम तो पहली पैदाइश को जान चुके हो, फिर तुम ध्यान क्यों नहीं देते?
And have you seen that [seed] which you sow?
Acha phir yeh bhi batlao kay tum jo kuch botay ho
फिर क्या तुम ने देखा जो कुछ तुम खेती करते हो?
Is it you who makes it grow, or are We the grower?
Ussay tum hi ugatay ho ya hum uganay walay hain.
क्या उसे तुम उगाते हो या हम उसे उगाते हैं?
If We willed, We could make it [dry] debris, and you would remain in wonder,
Agar hum chahyen to ussay reza reza ker dalen aur tum heyrat kay sath baten banatay hi reh jao.
यदि हम चाहें तो उसे चूर-चूर कर दें। फिर तुम बातें बनाते रह जाओ
[Saying], "Indeed, we are [now] in debt;
Kay hum per to tawaan hi par gaya.
कि "हम पर उलटा डाँड पड़ गया,
Rather, we have been deprived."
Bulkay hum bilkul mehroom hi reh gaye.
बल्कि हम वंचित होकर रह गए!"
And have you seen the water that you drink?
Acha yeh batao kay jiss pani ko tum peetay ho.
फिर क्या तुम ने उस पानी को देखा जिसे तुम पीते हो?
Is it you who brought it down from the clouds, or is it We who bring it down?
Ussay baadlon say bhi tum hi utartay ho ya hum barsatay hain?
क्या उसे बादलों से तुम ने पानी बरसाया या बरसाने वाले हम हैं?
If We willed, We could make it bitter, so why are you not grateful?
Agar humari mansha hoto hum issay kerwa zehar kerden phir tum humari shukar guzari kiyon nahi kertay.
यदि हम चाहें तो उसे अत्यन्त खारा बनाकर रख दें। फिर तुम कृतज्ञता क्यों नहीं दिखाते?
And have you seen the fire that you ignite?
Acha zara yeh bhi batao kay jo aag tum sulgatay ho .
फिर क्या तुम ने उस आग को देखा जिसे तुम सुलगाते हो?
Is it you who produced its tree, or are We the producer?
Iss kay darakht ko tum ney peda kiya hai ya hum uss kay peda kernay walay hain?
क्या तुम ने उस के वृक्ष को पैदा किया है या पैदा करने वाले हम हैं?
We have made it a reminder and provision for the travelers,
Hum ney issay sabab-e-naseehat aur musafiron kay faeeday ki cheez banaya hai.
हम ने उसे एक अनुस्मृति और मरुभुमि के मुसाफ़िरों और ज़रूरतमन्दों के लिए लाभप्रद बनाया
So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great.
Pus apney boht baray rab kay naam ki tasbeeh kiya kero.
अतः तुम अपने महान रब के नाम की तसबीह करो
Then I swear by the setting of the stars,
Pus mein qasam khata hun sitaron kay girnay ki.
अतः नहीं! मैं क़सम खाता हूँ सितारों की स्थितियों की -
And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great.
Aur agar tumhen ilm hoto yeh boht bari qasam hai.
और यह बहुत बड़ी गवाही है, यदि तुम जानो -
Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an
Kay be-shak yeh quran boht bari izzat wala hai.
निश्चय ही यह प्रतिष्ठित क़ुरआन है
In a Register well-protected;
Jo aik mehfooz kitab mein darj hai.
एक सुरक्षित किताब में अंकित है।
None touch it except the purified.
Jissay sirf pak log hi chu saktay hain.
उसे केवल पाक-साफ़ व्यक्ति ही हाथ लगाते हैं
[It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.
Yeh rabul aalameen ki taraf say utra hua hai.
उस का अवतरण सारे संसार के रब की ओर से है।
Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent
Pus kiya tum aisa baat ko sirsari ( aur mamooli ) samajh rahe ho.
फिर क्या तुम उस वाणी के प्रति उपेक्षा दर्शाते हो?
And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]?
Aur apney hissay mein yehi letay ho kay jhutlatey phiro .
और तुम इसको अपनी वृत्ति बना रहे हो कि झुठलाते हो?
Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat
Pus jabkay rooh narkharay tak phonch jaye.
फिर ऐसा क्यों नहीं होता, जबकि प्राण कंठ को आ लगते हैं
And you are at that time looking on -
Aur tum uss waqt aankhon say dekhtay raho.
और उस समय तुम देख रहे होते हो -
And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see -
Hum uss shaks say banisbat tumharay boht ziyadah qareeb hotay hain lekin tum nahi dekh saktey.
और हम तुम्हारी अपेक्षा उस से अधिक निकट होते हैं। किन्तु तुम देखते नहीं –
Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed,
Pus agar tum kissi kay zair-e-farman nahi.
फिर ऐसा क्यों नहीं होता कि यदि तुम अधीन नहीं हो
Bring it back, if you should be truthful?
Aur iss qol mein sachay hoto ( zara ) iss rooh ko to lotao.
तो उसे (प्राण को) लौटा दो, यदि तुम सच्चे हो
And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah ,
Pus jo koi barah-e-elaahi say qareeb kiya hua hoga.
फिर यदि वह (अल्लाह के) निकटवर्तियों में से है;
Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure.
Ussay to rahat hai aur ghizayen hain aur aaram wali jannat hai.
तो (उस के लिए) आराम, सुख-सामग्री और सुगंध है, और नेमत वाला बाग़ है
And if he was of the companions of the right,
Aur jo shaks dahanay walon mein say hai.
और यदि वह भाग्यशालियों में से है,
Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right."
To bhi salamti hai teray liye kay tu dahanay walon mein say hai.
तो "सलाम है तुम्हें कि तुम सौभाग्यशाली में से हो।"
But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray,
Lekin agar koi jhut lanay walon gumrahaon mein say hai.
किन्तु यदि वह झुठलाने वालों, गुमराहों में से है;
Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water
To kholtay huye garum pani ki mehmaani hai.
तो उस का पहला सत्कार खौलते हुए पानी से होगा
And burning in Hellfire
Aur dozakh mein jana hai.
फिर भड़कती हुई आग में उन्हें झोंका जाना है
Indeed, this is the true certainty,
Yeh khabar sirasir haq aur qaton yaqeeni hai.
निस्संदेह यही विश्वसनीय सत्य है
So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great.
Pus tu apney azeem-ul-shaan perwerdigar ki tasbeeh ker.
अतः तुम अपने महान रब की तसबीह करो
