Say, "To whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth?" Say, "To Allah ." He has decreed upon Himself mercy. He will surely assemble you for the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt. Those who will lose themselves [that Day] do not believe.
Aap kahiye kay jo kuch aasmano aur zamin mein mojood hai yeh sab kiss ki milkiyat hai aap keh dijiye kay sab Allah hi ki milkiyat hai Allah ney meharbani farmana apney upper laazim farma liya hai tum ko Allah qayamat kay roz jama keray ga iss mein koi shak nahi jin logon ney apney aap ko ghatay mein daala hai so woh eman nahi layen gay.
(उनसे) पूछिए कि किसका है जो कुछ आसमानों और ज़मीन में है, आप कह दीजिए कि सब कुछ अल्लाह का है, उसने अपने ऊपर रहमत लिख ली है, वह ज़रूर तुमको जमा करेगा क़यामत के दिन जिसमें कोई शक नहीं, जिन लोगों ने अपने आपको घाटे में डाला वही हैं जो उस पर ईमान नहीं लाते।
Those to whom We have given the Scripture recognize it as they recognize their [own] sons. Those who will lose themselves [in the Hereafter] do not believe.
Jin logon ko hum ney kitab di hai woh log rasoolon ko pehchantay hain jiss tarah apney beton ko pehchantay hain. Jin logon ney apney aap ko ghatay mein daala hai so woh eman nahi layen gay.
जिन लोगों को हमने किताब दी है वे मुहम्मद (सल्ल॰) को ऐसे पहचानते हैं जैसे अपने बेटों को पहचानते हैं, जिन लोगों ने अपने आपको घाटे में रखा वे उसको नहीं मानते।
And they prevent [others] from him and are [themselves] remote from him. And they do not destroy except themselves, but they perceive [it] not.
Aur yeh log iss say doosron ko bhi roktay hain aur khud bhi iss say door door rehtay hain aur yeh log apney hi ko tabah ker rahey hain aur kuch khabar nahi raktay.
वे लोगों को उससे रोकते हैं और ख़ुद भी उससे अलग रहते हैं, वे ख़ुद अपने आपको हलाक कर रहे हैं मगर वे नहीं समझते।
And those whose scales are light - they are the ones who will lose themselves for what injustice they were doing toward Our verses.
Aur jiss shaks ka palla halka hoga so yeh woh log hongay jinhon ney apna nuksan ker liya ba-sabab iss kay kay humari aayaton kay sath zulm kertay thay.
और जिनकी तोलें हलकी होंगी वही लोग हैं जिन्होंने अपने आपको घाटे में डाला, क्योंकि वे हमारी निशानियों के साथ नाइंसाफ़ी करते थे।
Do they await except its result? The Day its result comes those who had ignored it before will say, "The messengers of our Lord had come with the truth, so are there [now] any intercessors to intercede for us or could we be sent back to do other than we used to do?" They will have lost themselves, and lost from them is what they used to invent.
Inn logon ko aur kissi baat ka intizar nahi sirf iss kay akheet nateejay ka intizar hai jiss roz iss ka akheet nateeja paish aaye ga aur uss roz jo log iss ko pehlay say bhoolay huye thay yun kahen gay kay waqaee humaray rab kay payghumbar sachi sachi baaten laye thay so abb kiya koi humara sifarshi hai kay woh humari sifarish ker dey ya kiya hum phir wapis bhejay jaa saktay hain takay hum log unn aemaal kay jo hum kiya kertay thay bar khilaf doosray aemaal keren. Be-shak inn logon ney apney aap ko khasaray mein daal diya aur yeh jo jo baaten tarashtay thay sab gum hogaeen.
क्या अब भी वे इसी के मुंतज़िर हैं कि उसका मज़मून ज़ाहिर हो जाए, जिस दिन उसका मज़मून ज़ाहिर हो जाएगा तो वे लोग जो उसको पहले से भूले हुए थे बोल उठेंगे कि बेशक हमारे रब के पैग़म्बर हक़ लेकर आए थे, पस अब क्या कोई हमारी सिफ़ारिश करने वाले हैं कि हमारी सिफ़ारिश करें या हमको दोबारा वापस ही भेज दिया जाए ताकि हम उस अमल के सिवा दूसरे अमल करें जो हम पहले करते रहे थे, उन्होंने अपने आपको घाटे में डाला और उनसे गुम हो गया जो वह घड़ते थे।
And We divided them into twelve descendant tribes [as distinct] nations. And We inspired to Moses when his people implored him for water, "Strike with your staff the stone," and there gushed forth from it twelve springs. Every people knew its watering place. And We shaded them with clouds and sent down upon them manna and quails, [saying], "Eat from the good things with which We have provided you." And they wronged Us not, but they were [only] wronging themselves.
Aur hum ney unn ko baara khaandanon mein taqseem ker kay sab ki alag alag jamat muqarrar ker di aur hum ney musa ( alh-e-salam ) ko hukum diya jabkay unn ki qom ney unn say pani maanga kay apney asa ko falan pathar per maaro pus foran uss say baara chashmay phoot niklay. Her her shaks ney apney pani peenay ka moqa maloom ker liya aur hum ney unn per abar ko saya figan kiya aur unn ko mann-o-salwa ( taran jabeen aur bateren ) phonchaen khao nafees cheezon say jo hum ney tum ko di hain aur unhon ney humara koi nuksan nahi kiya lekin apna hi nuksan kertay thay.
और हमने उनको बारह घरानों में तक़सीम करके उन्हें अलग-अलग गिरोह बना दिया, और हमने मूसा को हुक्म भेजा उस वक़्त जब उसकी क़ौम ने पानी माँगा कि फ़लाँ पत्थर पर अपनी लाठी मारो तो उससे बारह चश्मे फूट पड़े, हर गिरोह ने अपना पानी पीने का ठिकाना मालूम कर लिया, और हमने उन पर बदलियों का साया किया और हमने उन पर मन्न व सलवा उतारा, खाओ पाकीज़ा चीज़ों में से जो हमने तुमको दी हैं, और उन्होंने हमारा कुछ नहीं बिगाड़ा बल्कि वे ख़ुद अपना ही नुक़सान करते रहे।
And the false deities are unable to [give] them help, nor can they help themselves.
Aur woh inn ko kissi qisam ki madad nahi dey saktay aur woh khud bhi madad nahi ker saktay.
और वे न उनकी किसी क़िस्म की मदद कर सकते हैं और न ही अपनी मदद कर सकते हैं।
And those you call upon besides Him are unable to help you, nor can they help themselves."
Aur tum jin logon ki Allah ko chor ker ibadat kertay ho woh tumhari kuch madad nahi ker saktay aur na woh apni madad ker saktay hain.
और जिनको तुम पुकारते हो उसके सिवा वे न तुम्हारी मदद कर सकते हैं और न अपनी ही मदद कर सकते हैं।
Had it been an easy gain and a moderate trip, the hypocrites would have followed you, but distant to them was the journey. And they will swear by Allah , "If we were able, we would have gone forth with you," destroying themselves [through false oaths], and Allah knows that indeed they are liars.
Agar jald wasool honey wala maal-o-asbaab hota aur halka sa safar hota to yeh zaroor aap kay peechay ho letay lekin unn per doori aur daraz ki mushkil parr gaee. Abb ato yeh Allah ki qasmen khayen gay kay agar hum mein qooat-o-taqat hoti to hum yaqeenan aap kay sath nikaltay yeh apni janon ko khud hi halakat mein daal rahey hain inn kay jhootay honey ka sacha ilm Allah ko hai.
अगर नफ़ा क़रीब होता और सफ़र हल्का होता तो वे ज़रूर आपके पीछे हो लेते मगर यह मंज़िल उन पर कठिन हो गई, अब वे अल्लाह की क़समें खाएंगे कि अगर हमसे हो सकता तो हम ज़रूर तुम्हारे साथ चलते, वे अपने आपको हलाकत में डाल रहे हैं, और अल्लाह जानता है कि ये लोग यक़ीनन झूठे हैं।
Has there not reached them the news of those before them - the people of Noah and [the tribes of] 'Aad and Thamud and the people of Abraham and the companions of Madyan and the towns overturned? Their messengers came to them with clear proofs. And Allah would never have wronged them, but they were wronging themselves.
Kiya enhen apney say pehlay logon ki khabren nahi phonchin qom-e-nooh aur aad aur samood aur qom-e-ibrajhim aur ehal-e-madiyen aur ehal-e-motafiqaat ( ulti hui bastiyon kay rehney walay ) ki unn kau pass unn kay payghumbar daleel ley ker phonchay Allah aisa na tha kay unn per zulm keray bulkay unhon ney khud hi apney upper zulm kiya.
क्या उन्हें उन लोगों की ख़बर नहीं पहुँची जो उनसे पहले गुज़रे क़ौमे-नूह और आद और समूद और क़ौमे-इब्राहीम और असहाबे-मदयन और उलटी हुई बस्तियों की, उनके पास उनके रसूल दलीलों के साथ आए तो ऐसा न था कि अल्लाह उन पर ज़ुल्म करता मगर वे ख़ुद अपनी जानों पर ज़ुल्म करते रहे।
Those are the ones who will have lost themselves, and lost from them is what they used to invent.
Yehi hain jinhon ney apna nuksan aap ker liya aur woh sab kuch inn say kho gaya jo enhon ney gharr rakha tha.
ये वे लोग हैं जिन्होंने अपने आपको घाटे में डाला और वह सब कुछ उनसे खो गया जो उन्होंने घड़ रखा था।
And We did not wrong them, but they wronged themselves. And they were not availed at all by their gods which they invoked other than Allah when there came the command of your Lord. And they did not increase them in other than ruin.
Hum ney unn per koi zulm nahi kiya bulkay khud unhon ney ho apney upper zulm kiya aur unhen unn kay maboodon ney koi faeeda na phonchaya jinhen woh Allah kay siwa pukartay thay jabkay teray perwerdigar ka hukum aa phoncha bulkay aur inn ka nuksan hi unhon ney barha diya.
और हमने उन पर ज़ुल्म किया बल्कि उन्होंने ख़ुद अपने ऊपर ज़ुल्म किया, फिर जब आपके रब का हुक्म आ गया तो उनके वे माबूद उनके कुछ काम न आए जिनको वे अल्लाह के सिवा पुकारते थे, और उन्होंने उनके हक़ में बरबादी के सिवा कुछ नहीं बढ़ाया।
And you lived among the dwellings of those who wronged themselves, and it had become clear to you how We dealt with them. And We presented for you [many] examples."
Aur kiya tum inn logon kay gharon mein rehtay sehtay na thay jinhon ney apni jano per zulm kiya aur kiya tum per woh moamla khula nahi kay hum ney unn kay sath kaisa kuch kiya. Hum ney ( to tumharay samjhaney ko ) boht si misalen biyan ker di thin.
और तुम उन लोगों की बस्तियों में आबाद थे जिन्होंने अपनी जानों पर ज़ुल्म किया और तुम पर खुल चुका था कि हमने उनके साथ क्या किया, और हमने तुम से मिसालें बयान कीं।
Do the disbelievers await [anything] except that the angels should come to them or there comes the command of your Lord? Thus did those do before them. And Allah wronged them not, but they had been wronging themselves.
Kiya yeh issi baat ka intizar ke rahey hain kay inn kay pass farishtay aajayen ya teray rab ka hukum aajaye? Aisa hi unn logon ney bhi kiya tha jo inn say pehlay thay. Unn per Allah Taalaa ney koi zulm nahi kiya bulkay woh khud apni janon per zulm kertay rahey.
क्या ये लोग इसके मुंतज़िर हैं कि उनके पास फ़रिश्ते आएं या आपके रब का हुक्म आ जाए, ऐसा ही इनसे पहले वालों ने किया, और अल्लाह ने उन पर ज़ुल्म नहीं किया बल्कि वे ख़ुद ही अपने ऊपर ज़ुल्म कर रहे थे।
And to those who are Jews We have prohibited that which We related to you before. And We did not wrong them [thereby], but they were wronging themselves.
Aur yahudiyon per hum ney jo kuch haram kiya tha ussay hum pehlay hi say aap ko suna chukay hain hum ney unn per zulm nahi kiya bulkay woh khud apni janon per zulm kertay rahey.
और यहूदियों पर हमने वह चीज़ें हराम कर दी थीं जो हम इससे पहले आपको बता चुके हैं, और हमने उन पर कोई ज़ुल्म नहीं किया बल्कि वे ख़ुद अपने ऊपर ज़ुल्म करते रहे।
But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally.
Aur jin kay tarazoo ka palla halka hogaya yeh hain woh jinhon ney apna nuksan aap ker liya jo hamesha kay liye jahannum wasil huye.
रहे वे लोग जिन के पलड़े हल्के हुए, तो वही हैं जिन्होंने अपने आप को घाटे में डाला। वे सदैव जहन्नम में रहेंगे
So each We seized for his sin; and among them were those upon whom We sent a storm of stones, and among them were those who were seized by the blast [from the sky], and among them were those whom We caused the earth to swallow, and among them were those whom We drowned. And Allah would not have wronged them, but it was they who were wronging themselves.
Phir to her aik ko hum ney uss kay gunah ka wabaal mein giriftar ker liya inn mein say baaz per hum ney pathron ka menh barsaya aur inn mein say baaz ko zor daar awaz sakht awaz ney daboch liya aur inn mein say baaz ko hum ney zamin mein dhansa diya aur inn mein say baaz ko hum ney dobo diya Allah Taalaa aisa nahi kay unn per zulm keray bulkay yehi log apni jano per zulm kertay thay.
अन्ततः हम ने हरेक को उस के अपने गुनाह के कारण पकड़ लिया। फिर उन में से कुछ पर तो हम ने पथराव करने वाली वायु भेजी और उन में से कुछ को एक प्रचंड चीत्कार ने आ लिया। और उन में से कुछ को हम ने धरती में धँसा दिया। और उन में से कुछ को हम ने डूबो दिया। अल्लाह तो ऐसा न था कि उन पर ज़ुल्म करता, किन्तु वे स्वयं अपने आप पर ज़ुल्म कर रहे थे
Have they not traveled through the earth and observed how was the end of those before them? They were greater than them in power, and they plowed the earth and built it up more than they have built it up, and their messengers came to them with clear evidences. And Allah would not ever have wronged them, but they were wronging themselves.
Kiya enhon ney zamin mein chal phir ker yeh nahi dekha kay inn say pehlay logon ka anjam kaisa ( bura ) hua? Woh inn say boht zada tawana ( aur taqatwar ) thay aur unhon ney ( bhi ) zamin boee joti thi aur inn say ziyada abad ki thi aur unn kay pass unkay rasool roshan dalaeel ley ker aaye thay. Yeh to na mumkin tha kayAllah Taalaa unn per zulm kerta lekin ( dar asal ) woh khud apni jano per zulm kertay thay.
क्या वे धरती में चले-फिरे नहीं कि देखते कि उन लोगों का कैसा परिणाम हुआ जो उन से पहले थे? वे शक्ति में उन से अधिक बलवान थे और उन्होंने धरती को उपजाया और उस से कहीं अधिक उसे आबाद किया जितना उन्होंने आबाद किया था। और उन के पास उन के रसूल प्रत्यक्ष प्रमाण लेकर आए। फिर अल्लाह ऐसा न था कि उन पर ज़ुल्म करता। किन्तु वे स्वयं ही अपने आप पर ज़ुल्म करते थे
But [insolently] they said, "Our Lord, lengthen the distance between our journeys," and wronged themselves, so We made them narrations and dispersed them in total dispersion. Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful.
Lekin unhon ney phir kaha kay aey humaray perwerdigar! Humaray safar door daraz ker day chunkay khud unhon ney apnay hathon apna bura kiya iss liye hum ney unhen ( guzishta ) fasano ki soorat mein ker diya aur unn kay tukray tukray ura diye bila shuba her aik sabar-o-shukar kerney walay kay liye iss ( maajray ) mein boht si ibraten hain.
किन्तु उन्होंने कहा, "ऐ हमारे रब! हमारी यात्राओं में दूरी कर दे।" उन्होंने स्वयं अपने ही ऊपर ज़ुल्म किया। अन्ततः हम उन्हें (अतीत की) कहानियाँ बनाकर रहे, और उन्हें बिल्कुल छिन्न-भिन्न कर डाला। निश्चय ही इसमें निशानियाँ हैं प्रत्येक बड़े धैर्यवान, कृतज्ञ के लिए
So worship what you will besides Him." Say, "Indeed, the losers are the ones who will lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Unquestionably, that is the manifest loss."
Tum uss kay siwa jiss ki chahao ibadat kertay raho keh dijiyey! Kay haqeeqi ziyan kaar woh hain jo apnay aap ko aur apnay ehal ko qayamat kay din nuksan mein daal den gay yad rekho kay khullam khulla nuksan yehi hai.
अब तुम उस से हटकर जिस की चाहो बन्दगी करो।" कह दो, "वास्तव में घाटे में पड़ने वाले तो वही हैं, जिन्होंने अपने आप को और अपने लोगों को क़ियामत के दिन घाटे में डाल दिया। जान रखो, यही खुला घाटा है
And you will see them being exposed to the Fire, humbled from humiliation, looking from [behind] a covert glance. And those who had believed will say, "Indeed, the [true] losers are the ones who lost themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Unquestionably, the wrongdoers are in an enduring punishment."
Aur tu enhen dekhay ga kay woh ( jahannum kay ) samney la-kharay kiyey jayen gay maray zillat kay jhukay jarahen hongay aur kan-ankhiyon say dekh rahey hongay eman walay saaf kahen gay kay haqeeqi ziyan kaar woh hain jinhon ney aaj qayamat kay din apnay aap ko aur apnay ghar walon ko nuksan mein dal diya. Yaad rakho kay yaqeenan zalim log daaeemi azab mein hain.
और तुम उन्हें देखोगे कि वे उस (जहन्नम) पर इस दशा में लाए जा रहे हैं कि बेबसी और अपमान के कारण दबे हुए हैं। कनखियों से देख रहे हैं। जो लोग ईमान लाए, वे उस समय कहेंगे कि "निश्चय ही घाटे में पड़ने वाले वही हैं जिन्होंने क़ियामत के दिन अपने आप को और अपने लोगों को घाटे में डाल दिया। सावधान! निश्चय ही ज़ालिम स्थिर रहने वाली यातना में होंगे
And be not like those who forgot Allah , so He made them forget themselves. Those are the defiantly disobedient.
Aur tum unn logon ki tarah mat ho jana jinhon ney Allah ( kay ehkaam ) ko bhula diya to Allah ney bhi unhen apni jano say ghafil ker diya aur aisay hi log na farmaan ( faasiq ) hotay hain.
और उन लोगों की तरह न हो जाना जिन्होंने अल्लाह को भुला दिया। तो उस ने भी ऐसा किया कि वे स्वयं अपने आप को भूल बैठे। वही अवज्ञाकारी हैं
