Those upon whom the word will have come into effect will say, "Our Lord, these are the ones we led to error. We led them to error just as we were in error. We declare our disassociation [from them] to You. They did not used to worship us."
Jin per baat aa chuki woh jawab den gay kay aey humaray perwerdigar! Yehi woh hain jinhen hum ney behka rakha tha hum ney enhen issi tarah behkaya jiss tarah hum behkay thay hum teri sarkar mein apni dast darazi kertay hain yeh humari ibadat nahi kertay thay.
जिन पर बात पूरी हो चुकी होगी, वे कहेंगे, "ऐ हमारे रब! ये वे लोग हैं जिन्हें हम ने बहका दिया था। जैसे हम स्वयं बहके थे, इन्हें भी बहकाया। हम ने तेरे आगे स्पष्ट कर दिया कि इन से हमारा कोई सम्बन्ध नहीं। ये हमारी बन्दगी तो करते नहीं थे?"
But seek, through that which Allah has given you, the home of the Hereafter; and [yet], do not forget your share of the world. And do good as Allah has done good to you. And desire not corruption in the land. Indeed, Allah does not like corrupters."
Aur jo kuch Allah Taalaa ney tujhay dey rakha hai uss mein say aakhirat kay ghar ki talash bhi rakh aur apnay dunyawi hissay ko bhi na bhool aur jesay Allah ney teray sath ehsan kiya hai tu bhi acha salook ker aur mulk mein fasad ka khuwan na ho yaqeen maan kay Allah mufsidon ko na pasand rakhta hai.
जो कुछ अल्लाह ने तुझे दिया है, उस में आख़िरत के घर का निर्माण कर और दुनिया में से अपना हिस्सा न भूल, और भलाई कर, जैसा कि अल्लाह ने तेरे साथ भलाई की है, और धरती का बिगाड़ मत चाह। निश्चय ही अल्लाह बिगाड़ पैदा करने वालों को पसन्द नहीं करता।"
And you were not expecting that the Book would be conveyed to you, but [it is] a mercy from your Lord. So do not be an assistant to the disbelievers.
Aap ko kabhi iss ka khayal bhi na guzra tha kay aap ki taraf kitab nazil farmaee jaye gi lekin yeh aap kay rab i meharbaani say utra. Abb aap ko hergiz kafiron ka madadgaar na hona chahaye.
तुम तो इस की आशा नहीं रखते थे कि तुम्हारी ओर किताब उतारी जाएगी। इस की संभावना तो केवल तुम्हारे रब की दयालुता के कारण हुई। अतः तुम इनकार करने वालों के पृष्ठपोषक न बनो
And never let them avert you from the verses of Allah after they have been revealed to you. And invite [people] to your Lord. And never be of those who associate others with Allah .
Khayal rakhiye kay yeh kufaar aap ko Allah Taalaa ki aayaton ki tableegh say rok na den iss kay baad kay yeh aap ki janib utari gaeen to apnay rab ki taraf bulatay rahen aur shirk kerney walon mein say na hon.
और वे तुम्हें अल्लाह की आयतों से रोक न पाएँ, इस के पश्चात कि वे तुम पर अवतरित हो चुकी है। और अपने रब की ओर बुलाओ और बहुदेववादियों में कदापि सम्मिलित न होना
Recite, [O Muhammad], what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish prayer. Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows that which you do.
Jo kitab aap ki taraf wahee ki gaee hai ussay parhiyey aur namaz qaeem keren yaqeenan namaz bey hayaee aur buraee say rokti hai be-shak Allah ka ziker boht bari cheez hai tum jo kuch ker rahey ho uss say Allah khabardaar hai.
उस किताब को पढ़ो जो तुम्हारी ओर प्रकाशना के द्वारा भेजी गई है, और नमाज़ का आयोजन करो। निस्संदेह नमाज़ अश्लीलता और बुराई से रोकती है। और अल्लाह का याद करना तो बहुत बड़ी चीज़ है। अल्लाह जानता है जो कुछ तुम रचते और बनाते हो
And thus We have sent down to you the Qur'an. And those to whom We [previously] gave the Scripture believe in it. And among these [people of Makkah] are those who believe in it. And none reject Our verses except the disbelievers.
Aur hum ney issi tarah aap ki taraf apni kitab nazil farmaee hai pus jinhen hum ney kitab di hai woh iss per eman latay hain aur inn ( mushrikeen ) mein say baaz iss per eman rakhtay hain aur humari aayaton ka inkar sirf kafir hi kertay hain.
इसी प्रकार हम ने तुम्हारी ओर किताब अवतरित की है, तो जिन्हें हम ने किताब प्रदान की है वे उस पर ईमान लाएँगे। उन में से कुछ उस पर ईमान ला भी रहे हैं। हमारी आयतों का इनकार तो केवल न मानने वाले ही करते हैं
And follow that which is revealed to you from your Lord. Indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.
Jo kuch aap ki janib aap kay rab ki taraf say wahee ki jati hai uss ki tabey daari keren ( yaqeen mano ) kay Allah tumharay her aik amal say ba-khabar hai.
और अनुकरण करना उस चीज़ का जो तुम्हारे रब की ओर से तुम्हें प्रकाशना की जा रही है। निश्चय ही अल्लाह उस की ख़बर रखता है जो तुम करते हो
Indisposed toward you. And when fear comes, you see them looking at you, their eyes revolving like one being overcome by death. But when fear departs, they lash you with sharp tongues, indisposed toward [any] good. Those have not believed, so Allah has rendered their deeds worthless, and ever is that, for Allah , easy.
Tumhari madad mein ( pooray ) bakheel hain phir jab khof-o-dehshat ka moqa aajaye to aap enhen dekhen gay kay aap ki taraf nazar jama detay hain aur inn ki aankhen iss tarah ghoomti hain jaisay uss shaks ki jiss per maut ki ghashi taari ho. Phir jab khof jata rehta hai to tum per apni tez zabano say bari baaten banatay hain maal kay baray hi harees hain yeh eman laye hi nahi hain Allah Taalaa ney inn kay tamam aemaal nabood ker diye hain aur Allah Taalaa per yeh boht hi aasan hai.
तुम्हारे साथ कृपणता से काम लेते हैं। अतः जब भय का समय आ जाता है, तो तुम उन्हें देखते हो कि वे तुम्हारी ओर इस प्रकार ताक रहे कि उन की आँखें चक्कर खा रही है, जैसे किसी व्यक्ति पर मौत की बेहोशी छा रही हो। किन्तु जब भय जाता रहता है तो वे माल के लोभ में तेज़ ज़बाने तुम पर चलाते हैं। ऐसे लोग ईमान लाए ही नहीं। अतः अल्लाह ने उन के कर्म उन की जान को लागू कर दिए। और यह अल्लाह के लिए बहुत सरल है
You, [O Muhammad], may put aside whom you will of them or take to yourself whom you will. And any that you desire of those [wives] from whom you had [temporarily] separated - there is no blame upon you [in returning her]. That is more suitable that they should be content and not grieve and that they should be satisfied with what you have given them - all of them. And Allah knows what is in your hearts. And ever is Allah Knowing and Forbearing.
Inn mein say jissay tu chahaye door rakh day aur jissay chahaye apnay pass rakh ley aur agar tu unn mein say bhi kissi ko apnay pass bula ley jinhen tu ney alag ker rakha tha to tujh per koi gunah nahi iss mein iss baat ki ziyada tawakka hai kay inn aurton ki aankhen thandi rahen aur woh ranjeedah na hon aur jo kuch bhi tu enhen dey dey iss per sab ki sab razi rahen tumahray dilon mein jo kuch hai ussay Allah ( khoob ) janta hai. Allah Taalaa bara hi ilm aur hilm wala hai.
तुम उन में से जिसे चाहो अपने से अलग रखो और जिसे चाहो अपने पास रखो, और जिन को तुम ने अलग रखा हो, उन में से किसी के इच्छुक हो तो इसमें तुम पर कोई दोष नहीं, इस से इस बात की अधिक सम्भावना है कि उन की आँखें ठंड़ी रहें और वे शोकाकुल न हों और जो कुछ तुम उन्हें दो उस पर वे राज़ी रहें। अल्लाह जानता है जो कुछ तुम्हारे दिलों में है। अल्लाह सर्वज्ञ, बहुत सहनशील है
And those who have been given knowledge see that what is revealed to you from your Lord is the truth, and it guides to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy.
Aur jinhen ilm hai woh dekh len gay jo kuch aap ki janib aap kay rab ki taraf say nazil hua hai woh ( sarasir ) haq hai aur Allah ghalib khoobiyon walay ki raah ki rehbari kerta hai.
जिन लोगों को ज्ञान प्राप्त हुआ है वे स्वयं देखते हैं कि जो कुछ तुम्हारे रब की ओर से तुम्हारी ओर अवतरित हुआ है वही सत्य है, और वह उस का मार्ग दिखाता है जो प्रभुत्वशाली, प्रशंसा का अधिकारी है
And that which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], of the Book is the truth, confirming what was before it. Indeed, Allah , of His servants, is Acquainted and Seeing.
Aur yeh kitab jo hum ney aap kay pass wahee kay tor per bheji hai yeh bilkul theek hai jo kay apnay say pehli kitabon ki bhi tasdeeq kerti hai. Allah Taalaa apnay bandon ki poori khabar rakhney wala khoob dekhney wala hai.
जो किताब हम ने तुम्हारी ओर प्रकाशना द्वारा भेजी है, वही सत्य है। अपने से पहले (की किताबों) की पुष्टि में है। निश्चय ही अल्लाह अपने बन्दों की ख़बर पूरी रखने वाला, देखने वाला है
[This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded.
Yeh ba-barkat kitab hai jissay hum ney aap ki taraf iss liye nazil farmaya hai kay log iss ki aayaton per ghor keren aur aqalmand iss say naseehat hasil keren.
यह एक किताब है जो हम ने तुम्हारी ओर अवतरित की है ताकि वे इस की आयतों पर सोच-विचार करें और ताकि बुद्धि और समझ वाले इससे शिक्षा ग्रहण करें।-
Indeed, We have sent down to you the Book, [O Muhammad], in truth. So worship Allah , [being] sincere to Him in religion.
Yaqeenan hum ney iss kitab ko aap ki taraf haq kay sath nazil farmaya hai pus aap Allah hi ki ibadat keren ussi kay liye deen ko khalis kerti huyey.
निस्संदेह हम ने यह किताब तुम्हारी ओर सत्य के साथ अवतरित की है
And it was already revealed to you and to those before you that if you should associate [anything] with Allah , your work would surely become worthless, and you would surely be among the losers."
Yaqeenan teri taraf bhi aur tujh say pehlay ( kay tamam nabiyon ) ki taraf bhi wahee ki gaee hai kay agar tu ney shirk kiya to bila shuba tera amal zaya hojayega aur bil-yaqeen tu ziyan kaaron mein say hojayega.
तुम्हारी ओर और जो तुम से पहले गुज़र चुके हैं उन की ओर भी वह्य की जा चुकी है कि "यदि तुम ने शिर्क किया तो तुम्हारा किया-धरा अनिवार्यतः अकारथ जाएगा और तुम अवश्य ही घाटे में पड़ने वालों में से हो जाओगे।"
Thus has He revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and to those before you - Allah , the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
Allah Taalaa jo zabardast hai aur hikmat wala hai issi tarah teri taraf aur tujh say aglon ki taraf wahee bhejta raha.
इसी प्रकार अल्लाह प्रुभत्वशाली, तत्वदर्शी तुम्हारी ओर और उन लोगों की ओर प्रकाशना (वह्य) करता रहा है, जो तुम से पहले गुज़र चुके हैं
And thus We have revealed to you an Arabic Qur'an that you may warn the Mother of Cities [Makkah] and those around it and warn of the Day of Assembly, about which there is no doubt. A party will be in Paradise and a party in the Blaze.
Issi tarah hum ney aap ki taraf arabi quran ki wahee ki hai takay aap makkah walon ko aur uss kay aas pass logon ko khabardar ker den aur jama honey kay din say jiss kay aanay mein koi shak nahi dara den. Aik giroh jannat mein hoga aur aik giroh jahannum mein hoga.
और (जैसे हम स्पष्ट आयतें उतारते हैं) उसी प्रकार हम ने तुम्हारी ओर एक अरबी क़ुरआन की प्रकाशना की है, ताकि तुम बस्तियों के केन्द्र (मक्का) को और जो लोग उस के चतुर्दिक हैं उन को सचेत कर दो और सचेत करो इकट्ठा होने के दिन से, जिस में कोई सन्देह नहीं। एक गिरोह जन्नत में होगा और एक गिरोह भड़कती आग में
He has ordained for you of religion what He enjoined upon Noah and that which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what We enjoined upon Abraham and Moses and Jesus - to establish the religion and not be divided therein. Difficult for those who associate others with Allah is that to which you invite them. Allah chooses for Himself whom He wills and guides to Himself whoever turns back [to Him].
Allah Taalaa ney tumharay liye wohi deen muqarrar ker diya hai jiss kay qaeem kerney ka uss ney Nooh ( alh-e-salam ) ko hukum diya tha aur jo ( ba-zariya wahee ) hum ney teri taraf bhej di hai aur jiss ka takeedi hukum hum ney Ibrahim aur Musa aur Essa ( alheem-us-salam ) ko diya tha kay iss deen ko qaeem rakhna aur iss mein phoot na dalna jiss cheez ki taraf aap ehen bula rahey hain who to ( inn ) mushrikon per giran guzarti hai Allah Taalaa jissay chahata hai apna bargazeedah banata hai aur jo bhi uss ki taraf rujoo keray who uss ki sahih rehnumaee kerta hai.
उस ने तुम्हारे लिए वही धर्म निर्धारित किया जिस की ताकीद उस ने नूह को की थी।" और वह (जीवन्त आदेश) जिस की प्रकाशना हम ने तुम्हारी ओर की है और वह जिस की ताकीद हम ने इबराहीम और मूसा और ईसा को की थी यह है कि "धर्म को क़ायम करो और उस के विषय में अलग-अलग न हो जाओ।" बहुदेववादियों को वह चीज़ बहुत अप्रिय है, जिस की ओर तुम उन्हें बुलाते हो। अल्लाह जिसे चाहता है अपनी ओर छाँट लेता है और अपनी ओर का मार्ग उसी को दिखाता है जो उस की ओर रुजू करता है
And thus We have revealed to you an inspiration of Our command. You did not know what is the Book or [what is] faith, but We have made it a light by which We guide whom We will of Our servants. And indeed, [O Muhammad], you guide to a straight path -
Aur iss tarah hum ney aap ki taraf apnay hukum say rooh ko utara hai aap iss say pehlay yeh bhi nahi jantay thay kay kitab aur eman kiya cheez hai? Lekin hum nay issay noor banaya iss kay zariyey say apnay bandon mein say jissay chahatay hain hidayat detay hain be-shak aap raah-e-raast ki rehnumaee ker rahey hain.
और इसी प्रकार हम ने अपने आदेश से एक रूह (क़ुरआन) की प्रकाशना तुम्हारी ओर की है। तुम नहीं जानते थे कि किताब क्या होती है और न ईमान को (जानते थे), किन्तु हम ने इस (प्रकाशना) को एक प्रकाश बनाया, जिस के द्वारा हम अपने बन्दों में से जिसे चाहते हैं मार्ग दिखाते हैं। निश्चय ही तुम एक सीधे मार्ग की ओर पथप्रदर्शन कर रहे हो-
So adhere to that which is revealed to you. Indeed, you are on a straight path.
Pus jo wahee aap ki taraf ki gaee hai ussay mazboot thamay rahen be-shak aap rah-e-raast per hain.
अतः तुम उस चीज़ को मज़बूती से थामे रहो जिस की तुम्हारी ओर प्रकाशना की गई। निश्चय ही तुम सीधे मार्ग पर हो
And We have enjoined upon man, to his parents, good treatment. His mother carried him with hardship and gave birth to him with hardship, and his gestation and weaning [period] is thirty months. [He grows] until, when he reaches maturity and reaches [the age of] forty years, he says, "My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to work righteousness of which You will approve and make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims."
Aur hum ney insan ko apnay maa baap kay sath husn-e-salook kerney ka hukum diya hai uss ki maa ney ussay takleef jhel ker pet mein rakha aur takleef bardasht kerkay ussay jana. Uss kay hamal aur uss kay doodh churaney ka zamana tees maheeney ka hai yahan tak kay jab woh apni pukhtagi aur chalees saal ki umer ko phoncha to kehnay laga aey meray perwerdigar! Mujhay tofiq dey kay mein teri iss nemat ka shukar baja laon jo tu ney mujh per aur meray maa baap per inam ki hai aur yeh kay mein aisay nek amal keron jinn say tu khush hojaye aur tu meri aulad bhi saleh bana. Mein teri tarf rujoo kerta hun aur mein musalmano mein say hun.
हम ने मनुष्य को अपने माँ-बाप के साथ अच्छा व्यवहार करने की ताकीद की। उस की माँ ने उसे (पेट में) तकलीफ़ के साथ उठाए रखा और उसे जना भी तकलीफ़ के साथ। और उस के गर्भ की अवस्था में रहने और दूध छुड़ाने की अवधि तीस माह है, यहाँ तक कि जब वह अपनी पूरी शक्ति को पहुँचा और चालीस वर्ष का हुआ तो उस ने कहा, "ऐ मेरे रब! मुझे सम्भाल कि मैं तेरी उस अनुकम्पा के प्रति कृतज्ञता दिखाऊँ, जो तुने मुझ पर और मेरे माँ-बाप पर की है। और यह कि मैं ऐसा अच्छा कर्म करूँ जो तुझे प्रिय हो और मेरे लिए मेरी संतति में भलाई रख दे। मैं तेरे आगे तौबा करता हूँ और मैं मुस्लिम (आज्ञाकारी) हूँ।"
And [mention, O Muhammad], when We directed to you a few of the jinn, listening to the Qur'an. And when they attended it, they said, "Listen quietly." And when it was concluded, they went back to their people as warners.
Aur yaad kero! Jabkay hum ney jinno ki aik jammat ko teri taraf mutawajja kiya kay woh quran sunen pus jab ( nabi kay ) pass phonch gaye to ( aik doosray say ) kehney lagay khamosh hojao phir jab parh ker khatam hogaya to apni qom ko khabardar kerney kay liye wapis lot gaye.
और याद करो (ऐ नबी) जब हम ने कुछ जिन्नों को तुम्हारी ओर फेर दिया जो क़ुरआन सुनने लगे थे, तो जब वे वहाँ पहुँचे तो कहने लगे, "चुप हो जाओ!" फिर जब वह (क़ुरआन का पाठ) पूरा हुआ तो वे अपनी क़ौम की ओर सावधान करने वाले होकर लौटे
And among them, [O Muhammad], are those who listen to you, until when they depart from you, they say to those who were given knowledge, "What has he said just now?" Those are the ones of whom Allah has sealed over their hearts and who have followed their [own] desires.
Aur inn mein baaz ( aisay bhi hain kay ) teri taraf kaan lagatay hain yahan tak kay jabb teray pass say jatay hain to ehl-e-ilm say ( ba-waja kund zehni-o-laperwahee kay ) poochtay hain kay iss ney abhi kiya kaha tha? Yehi log hain jinn kay dilon per Allah ney mohar ker di hai aur woh apni khuawishon ki perwi kertay hain.
और उन में कुछ लोग ऐसे हैं जो तुम्हारी ओर कान लगाते हैं, यहाँ तक कि जब वे तुम्हारे पास से निकलते हैं तो उन लोगों से, जिन्हें ज्ञान प्रदान हुआ है कहते हैं, "उन्होंने अभी-अभी क्या कहा?" वही वे लोग हैं जिन के दिलों पर अल्लाह ने ठप्पा लगा दिया है और वे अपनी इच्छाओं के पीछे चले हैं
Those who believe say, "Why has a surah not been sent down? But when a precise surah is revealed and fighting is mentioned therein, you see those in whose hearts is hypocrisy looking at you with a look of one overcome by death. And more appropriate for them [would have been]
Aur jo log eman laye woh kehtay hain koi soorat kiyon nazil nahi ki gaee? Phir jab koi saaf matlab wali soorat nazil ki jati hai aur iss mein qitaal ka ziker kiya jata hai to aap dekhtay hain jinn logon kay dilon mein beemari hai woh aap ki taraf iss tarah dekhtay hain jaisay uss shaks ki nazar hoti hai jiss per mot ki beyhoshi taari ho pus boht behtar tha unn kay liye.
जो लोग ईमान लाए वे कहते हैं, "कोई सूरा क्यों नहीं उतरी?" किन्तु जब एक पक्की सूरा अवतरित की जाती है, जिस में युद्ध का उल्लेख होता है, तो तुम उन लोगों को देखते हो जिन के दिलों में रोग है कि वे तुम्हारी ओर इस प्रकार देखते हैं जैसे किसी पर मृत्यु की बेहोशी छा गई हो। तो अफ़सोस है उन के हाल पर!
Then return [your] vision twice again. [Your] vision will return to you humbled while it is fatigued.
Doobara ( nazren daal ker ) dekhley kiya koi shigaaf bhi nazar aaraha hai.
फिर दोबारा नज़र डालो। निगाह रद्द होकर और थक-हार कर तुम्हारी ओर पलट आएगी
