And when a messenger from Allah came to them confirming that which was with them, a party of those who had been given the Scripture threw the Scripture of Allah behind their backs as if they did not know [what it contained].
Jab kabhi inn kay pass Allah ka koi rasool inn ki kitab ki tasdeeq kerney wala aaya inn ehal-e-kitab kay aik firqay ney Allah ki kitab ko iss tarah peeth peechay daal diya goya jantay hi na thay.
और जब उनके पास अल्लाह की तरफ़ से एक रसूल आया जो सच्चा करने वाला था उस चीज़ का जो उनके पास है तो उन लोगों ने जिनको किताब दी गई थी, अल्लाह की किताब को इस तरह पीठ पीछे फेंक दिया, गोया वे उसे जानते ही नहीं।
We have certainly seen the turning of your face, [O Muhammad], toward the heaven, and We will surely turn you to a qiblah with which you will be pleased. So turn your face toward al-Masjid al-Haram. And wherever you [believers] are, turn your faces toward it [in prayer]. Indeed, those who have been given the Scripture well know that it is the truth from their Lord. And Allah is not unaware of what they do.
Hum aap kay chehray ko baar baar aasman ki taraf uthtay uthtay huye dekh rahey hain abb hum aap ko uss qiblay ki janib mutawajja keren gay jiss say aap khush hojayen aap apna mun masjid-e-haram ki taraf pher len aur aap jahan kahin hon apna mun ussi taraf phera keren. Ehal-e-kitab ko iss baat kay Allah ki taraf say bar haq honey ka qataee ilm hai aur Allah Taalaa unn aemaal say ghafil nahi jo yeh kertay hain.
हम तुम्हारे चेहरे का बार-बार आसमान की तरफ़ उठना देख रहे हैं, पस हम तुमको उसी क़िबले की तरफ़ फेर देंगे जिसको तुम पसंद करते हो, अब अपना रुख़ मस्जिदे-हराम की तरफ़ फेर दो, और तुम जहाँ कहीं भी हो अपने रुख़ को उसी तरफ़ करो, और अहले-किताब ख़ूब जानते हैं कि यह हक़ है और उनके रब की जानिब से है, और अल्लाह बेख़बर नहीं उससे जो वे कर रहे हैं।
And if you brought to those who were given the Scripture every sign, they would not follow your qiblah. Nor will you be a follower of their qiblah. Nor would they be followers of one another's qiblah. So if you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, indeed, you would then be among the wrongdoers.
Aur aap agar cheh ehal-e-kitab ko tamam daleelen dey den lekin woh aap kay qiblay ki pairwi nahi keren gay aur na aap inn kay qiblay ko manney walay hain aur na yeh aapas mein aik doosray kay qiblay ko manney walay hain aur agar aap ba wajood yeh kay aap kay pass ilm aa chuka phir bhi inn ki khuwaishon kay peechay lag jayen to bil yaqeen aap bhi zalimon mein say hojayen.
और अगर तुम उन अहले-किताब के सामने तमाम दलीलें पेश कर दो, तब भी वे तुम्हारे क़िबले को न मानेंगे, और न तुम उनके क़िबले की पैरवी कर सकते हो, और न वे ख़ुद एक-दूसरे के क़िबले को मानते हैं, और इस इल्म के बाद जो तुम्हारे पास आ चुका है अगर तुम उनकी ख़्वाहिशों की पैरवी करोगे तो यक़ीनन ज़ालिमों में से हो जाओगे।
Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam. And those who were given the Scripture did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. And whoever disbelieves in the verses of Allah , then indeed, Allah is swift in [taking] account.
Be-shak Allah Taalaa kay nazdeek deen islam hi hai aur ehal-e-kitab ney apney pass ilm aa janey kay baad aapas ki sirkashi aur hasad ki bina per hi ikhtilaf kiya hai aur Allah Taalaa ki aayaton kay sath jo bhi kufur keray Allah Taalaa uss ka jald hisab lenay wala hai.
(क़ाबिले-क़बूल) दीन तो अल्लाह के नज़दीक सिर्फ़ इस्लाम ही है, और अहले-किताब ने इख़्तिलाफ़ नहीं किया मगर बाद इसके कि उनको सही इल्म पहुँच चुका था आपस की ज़िद की वजह से, और जो कोई इनकार करे अल्लाह की आयतों का तो अल्लाह यक़ीनन जल्द हिसाब लेने वाला है।
So if they argue with you, say, "I have submitted myself to Allah [in Islam], and [so have] those who follow me." And say to those who were given the Scripture and [to] the unlearned, "Have you submitted yourselves?" And if they submit [in Islam], they are rightly guided; but if they turn away - then upon you is only the [duty of] notification. And Allah is Seeing of [His] servants.
Phir bhi agar yeh aap say jhagren to aap keh den kay mein aur meray tabey daaron ney Allah Taalaa kay samney apna sir tasleem khum ker diya hai aur ehal-e-kitab say aur un-parh logon say keh dijiye! Kay kiya tum bhi ita’at kertay ho? Pus agar yeh bhi tabye daar bann jayen to yaqeenan hidayat walay hain aur agar yeh roo gardani keren to aap per sirf phoncha dena hai aur Allah bandon ko khoob dekh bhaal raha hai.
फिर अगर वे आपसे झगड़ें तो कह दें कि मैं तो अपना रुख़ अल्लाह की तरफ़ कर चुका और जो मेरे पैरू हैं वे भी, और अहले-किताब से और अनपढ़ों से पूछिए कि क्या तुम भी इसी तरह इस्लाम लाते हो, पस अगर वे इस्लाम ले आएं तो उन्होंने राह पाली, और अगर वे फिर जाएं तो आपके ज़िम्मे सिर्फ़ पहुँचा देना है, और अल्लाह अपने बंदों को ख़ूब देखने वाला है।
O you who have believed, if you obey a party of those who were given the Scripture, they would turn you back, after your belief, [to being] unbelievers.
Aey eman walo! Agar tum ehal-e-kitab ki kissi jamat ki baaten maano gay to woh tumhen tumharay eman laney kay baad murtid kafir bana den gay.
ऐ ईमान वालो! अगर तुम अहले-किताब में से एक गिरोह की बात मान लोगे तो वह तुमको ईमान लाने के बाद फिर मुनकिर बना देंगे।
You will surely be tested in your possessions and in yourselves. And you will surely hear from those who were given the Scripture before you and from those who associate others with Allah much abuse. But if you are patient and fear Allah - indeed, that is of the matters [worthy] of determination.
Yaqeenan tumharay maalon aur tumhari jaanon say tumhari aazmaish ki jaye gi aur yeh bhi yaqeen hai kay tumhen unn logon ki jo tum say pehlay kitab diye gaye aur mushrikon ki boht si dukh denay wali baaten bhi sunni paren gi aur agar tum sabar kerlo aur perhezgari ikhtiyar kero to yaqeenan yeh boht bari himmat ka kaam hai.
यक़ीनन तुम अपनी जान और माल में आज़माए जाओगे, और तुम बहुत-सी तकलीफ़ देने वाली बातें सुनोगे उनसे जिनको तुम से पहले किताब मिली और उनसे भी जिन्होंने शिर्क किया, और अगर तुम सब्र करो और तक़वा इख़्तियार करो तो यह बड़े हौसले का काम है।
And [mention, O Muhammad], when Allah took a covenant from those who were given the Scripture, [saying], "You must make it clear to the people and not conceal it." But they threw it away behind their backs and exchanged it for a small price. And wretched is that which they purchased.
Aur Allah Taalaa ney jab ehal-e-kitab say ehad liya kay tum issay sab logon say zaroor biyan kero gay aur issay chupao gay nahi to phir bhi inn logon ney iss ehad ko apni peeth peechay daal diya aur issay boht kum qeemat per baich daala. Inn kay yeh beopaar boht bura hai.
और जब अल्लाह ने अहले-किताब से अहद लिया कि तुम अल्लाह की किताब को पूरी तरह लोगों के लिए ज़ाहिर करोगे और उसको नहीं छुपाओगे, मगर उन्होंने उसको पीठ पीछे डाल दिया और उसको थोड़ी क़ीमत पर बेच डाला, कैसी बुरी है वह चीज़ जिसको वे ख़रीद रहे हैं।
O you who were given the Scripture, believe in what We have sent down [to Muhammad], confirming that which is with you, before We obliterate faces and turn them toward their backs or curse them as We cursed the sabbath-breakers. And ever is the decree of Allah accomplished.
Aey ehal-e-kitab! Jo kuch hum ney nazil farmaya hai jo uss ki bhi tasdeeq kerney wala hai jo tumharay pass hai iss per eman lao iss say pehlay hum chehray bigaar den aur enhen lota ker peeth ki taraf ker den ya inn per laanat bhejen jaisay hum ney haftay kay din walon per laanat ki aur hai Allah Taalaa ka kaam kiya gaya.
ऐ वे लोगो जिनको किताब दी गई! उस पर ईमान लाओ जो हमने उतारा है, तस्दीक़ करने वाली उस किताब की जो तुम्हारे पास है, इससे पहले कि हम चेहरों को मिटा दें फिर उनको उलट दें पीठ की तरफ़ या उन पर लानत करें जैसे हमने लानत की सनीचर वालों पर, और अल्लाह का हुक्म पूरा होकर रहता है।
And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And We have instructed those who were given the Scripture before you and yourselves to fear Allah . But if you disbelieve - then to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And ever is Allah Free of need and Praiseworthy.
Zamain-o-aasamanon ki her her cheez Allah Taalaa hi ki milkiyat mein hai aur waqaee hum ney unn logon ko jo tum say pehlay kitab diye gaye thay aur tum ko bhi yehi hukum kiya hai kay Allah say dartay raho aur agar tum kufur kero to yaad rakho kay Allah kay liye hai jo kuch aasmanon mein hai aur jo kuch zamin mein hai aur Allah boht bey niaz aur tareef kiya gaya hai.
और अल्लाह का है जो कुछ आसमानों में है और जो कुछ ज़मीन में है, और हमने हुक्म दिया है उन लोगों को जिन्हें तुमसे पहले किताब दी गई और तुमको भी कि अल्लाह से डरो, और अगर तुम न मानो तब भी अल्लाह ही का है जो कुछ आसमानों में है और जो कुछ ज़मीन में है, और अल्लाह बेनियाज़ है, सब ख़ूबियों वाला है।
This day [all] good foods have been made lawful, and the food of those who were given the Scripture is lawful for you and your food is lawful for them. And [lawful in marriage are] chaste women from among the believers and chaste women from among those who were given the Scripture before you, when you have given them their due compensation, desiring chastity, not unlawful sexual intercourse or taking [secret] lovers. And whoever denies the faith - his work has become worthless, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.
Kul pakeezah cheezen aaj tumharay liye halal ki gaeen aur ehal-e-kitab ka zabeeha tumharay liye halal hai aur tumhara zabeeha unn kay liye halal hai aur pak daaman musalman aurten aur jo log tum say pehlay kitab diye gaye hain unn ki pak daaman aurten bhi halal hain jabkay tum unn kay mehar ada kero iss tarah kay tum unn say ba-qaeeda nikkah kero yeh nahi kay aelaaniya zinna kero ya posheedah bad kaari kero munkireen-e-eman kay aemaal zaya aur ikaarat hain aur aakhirat mein woh haarney walon mein say hain.
आज तुम्हारे लिए सब पाकीज़ा चीज़ें हलाल कर दी गईं, और अहले-किताब का खाना तुम्हारे लिए हलाल है और तुम्हारा खाना उनके लिए हलाल है, (और हलाल हैं तुम्हारे लिए) पाक-दामन औरतें मुसलमान औरतों में से और पाक-दामन औरतें उनमें से जिनको तुमसे पहले किताब दी गई जब तुम उन्हें उनका महर दे दो इस तरह कि तुम निकाह में लाने वाले हों न कि बदकारी करने वाले हों और न ही चोरी-छुपे दोस्ती करने वाले, और जो शख़्स ईमान के साथ कुफ़्र करेगा तो उसका अमल ज़ाया हो जाएगा और वह आख़िरत में से नुक़सान उठाने वालों में से होगा।

आज तुम्हारे लिए सब पाकीज़ा चीज़ें हलाल कर दी गईं, और अहले-किताब का खाना तुम्हारे लिए हलाल है और तुम्हारा खाना उनके लिए हलाल है, (और हलाल हैं तुम्हारे लिए) पाक-दामन औरतें मुसलमान औरतों में से और पाक-दामन औरतें उनमें से जिनको तुमसे पहले किताब दी गई जब तुम उन्हें उनका महर दे दो इस तरह कि तुम निकाह में लाने वाले हों न कि बदकारी करने वाले हों और न ही चोरी-छुपे दोस्ती करने वाले, और जो शख़्स ईमान के साथ कुफ़्र करेगा तो उसका अमल ज़ाया हो जाएगा और वह आख़िरत में से नुक़सान उठाने वालों में से होगा।
O you who have believed, take not those who have taken your religion in ridicule and amusement among the ones who were given the Scripture before you nor the disbelievers as allies. And fear Allah , if you should [truly] be believers.
Musalmano! Unn logon ko dost na banao jo tumharay deen ko hansi khel banaye huye hain ( khuwa ) woh unn mein say hon jo tum say pehlay kitab diye gaye ya kuffaar hon agar tum momin hoto Allah Taalaa say dartay raho.
ऐ ईमान वालो! उन लोगों को दोस्त न बनाओ जिन्होंने तुम्हारे दीन को मज़ाक़ और खेल बना लिया है उन लोगों में से जिनको तुमसे पहले किताब दी गई और न काफ़िरों को, और अल्लाह से डरते रहो अगर तुम ईमान वाले हो।
Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.
Unn logon say laro jo Allah per aur qayamat kay din per eman nahi latay jo Allah aur uss kay rasool ki haram kerda shey ko haram nahi jantay na deen-e-haq ko qabool kertay hain unn logon mein say jinhen kitab di gaee hai yahan tak kay woh zaleel-o-khuwar hoker apney hath say jizya ada keren.
उन अहले-किताब से लड़ो जो न अल्लाह पर ईमान रखते हैं और न आख़िरत के दिन पर और न अल्लाह और उसके रसूल के हराम ठहराए हुए को हराम ठहराते हैं और न दीने-हक़ को अपना दीन बनाते हैं, यहाँ तक कि वे अपने हाथ से जिज़्या दें और छोटे बनकर रहें।
Then on the Day of Resurrection He will disgrace them and say, "Where are My 'partners' for whom you used to oppose [the believers]?" Those who were given knowledge will say, "Indeed disgrace, this Day, and evil are upon the disbelievers" -
Phir qayamat walay din bhi Allah unn ko ruswa keray ga aur farmaye gay kay meray woh shareek kahan hain jin kay baray mein tum lartay jhagartay thay jinhen ilm diya gaya tha woh pukar uthen gay kay aaj to kafiron ko ruswaee aur buraee chimat gaee.
फिर क़यामत के दिन अल्लाह उनको रुसवा करेगा और कहेगा कि मेरे वे शरीक कहाँ हैं जिनके लिए तुम झगड़ा किया करते थे, जिनको इल्म दिया गया था वे कहेंगे कि आज रुसवाई और अज़ाब है काफ़िरों पर।
Say, "Believe in it or do not believe. Indeed, those who were given knowledge before it - when it is recited to them, they fall upon their faces in prostration,
Keh dijiye! Tum iss per eman laao ya na laao jinehn iss say pehlay ilm diya gaya hai unn kay pass to jab bhi iss ki tilawat ki jati hai to woh thoriyon kay bal sajda mein gir partay hain.
कह दो, "तुम उसे मानो या न मानो, जिन लोगों को इस से पहले ज्ञान दिया गया है, उन्हें जब वह पढ़कर सुनाया जाता है, तो वे ठोड़ियों के बल सजदे में गिर पड़ते हैं
And so those who were given knowledge may know that it is the truth from your Lord and [therefore] believe in it, and their hearts humbly submit to it. And indeed is Allah the Guide of those who have believed to a straight path.
Aur iss liye bhi kay jinhen ilm ata farmaya gaya hai woh yaqeen kerlen kay yeh aap kay rab hi ki taraf say sirasir haq hi hai phir woh iss per eman layen aur unn kay dil uss ki taraf jhuk jayen. Yaqeenan Allah Taalaa eman daron ko raah-e-raast ki taraf rehbari kerney wala hi hai.
और ताकि वे लोग जिन्हें ज्ञान मिला है, जान लें कि यह तुम्हारे रब की ओर से सत्य है। अतः वे इस पर ईमान लाएँ और उस के सामने उन के दिल झुक जाएँ और निश्चय ही अल्लाह ईमान लाने वालों को अवश्य सीधा मार्ग दिखाता है
But those who had been given knowledge said, "Woe to you! The reward of Allah is better for he who believes and does righteousness. And none are granted it except the patient."
Zee ilm log unhen samjhaney lagay kay afsos! Behtar cheez to woh hai jo bator sawab unhen milay gi jo Allah per eman layen aur nek amal keren yeh baat unhi kay dil mein dali jati hai jo sabar-o-sahaar walay hon.
किन्तु जिन को ज्ञान प्राप्त था, उन्होंने कहा, "अफ़सोस तुम पर! अल्लाह का प्रतिदान उत्तम है, उस व्यक्ति के लिए जो ईमान लाए और अच्छा कर्म करे, और यह बात उन्ही के दिलों में पड़ती है जो धैर्यवान होते हैं।"
Rather, the Qur'an is distinct verses [preserved] within the breasts of those who have been given knowledge. And none reject Our verses except the wrongdoers.
Bulkay yeh ( quran ) to roshan aayaten hain jo ehal-e-ilm kay seeno mein mehfooz hain humari aayaton ka munkir ba-juz zalimon kay aur koi nahi.
नहीं, बल्कि वे तो उन लोगों के सीनों में विद्यमान खुली निशानियाँ हैं, जिन्हें ज्ञान प्राप्त हुआ है। हमारी आयतों का इनकार तो केवल ज़ालिम ही करते हैं
But those who were given knowledge and faith will say, "You remained the extent of Allah 's decree until the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection, but you did not used to know."
Aur jin logon ko ilm aur eman diya gaya woh jawab den gay kay tum to jaisa kitab-ul-llah mein hai yom-e-qayamat tak theray rahey. Aaj ka yeh din qayamat hi ka din hai lekin tum to yaqeen hi nahi mantay thay.
किन्तु जिन लोगों को ज्ञान और ईमान प्रदान हुआ, वे कहेंगे, "अल्लाह के लेख में तो तुम जीवित होकर उठने के दिन तक ठहरे रहे हो। तो यही जीवित हो उठने का दिन है। किन्तु तुम जानते न थे।"
And those who have been given knowledge see that what is revealed to you from your Lord is the truth, and it guides to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy.
Aur jinhen ilm hai woh dekh len gay jo kuch aap ki janib aap kay rab ki taraf say nazil hua hai woh ( sarasir ) haq hai aur Allah ghalib khoobiyon walay ki raah ki rehbari kerta hai.
जिन लोगों को ज्ञान प्राप्त हुआ है वे स्वयं देखते हैं कि जो कुछ तुम्हारे रब की ओर से तुम्हारी ओर अवतरित हुआ है वही सत्य है, और वह उस का मार्ग दिखाता है जो प्रभुत्वशाली, प्रशंसा का अधिकारी है
And among them, [O Muhammad], are those who listen to you, until when they depart from you, they say to those who were given knowledge, "What has he said just now?" Those are the ones of whom Allah has sealed over their hearts and who have followed their [own] desires.
Aur inn mein baaz ( aisay bhi hain kay ) teri taraf kaan lagatay hain yahan tak kay jabb teray pass say jatay hain to ehl-e-ilm say ( ba-waja kund zehni-o-laperwahee kay ) poochtay hain kay iss ney abhi kiya kaha tha? Yehi log hain jinn kay dilon per Allah ney mohar ker di hai aur woh apni khuawishon ki perwi kertay hain.
और उन में कुछ लोग ऐसे हैं जो तुम्हारी ओर कान लगाते हैं, यहाँ तक कि जब वे तुम्हारे पास से निकलते हैं तो उन लोगों से, जिन्हें ज्ञान प्रदान हुआ है कहते हैं, "उन्होंने अभी-अभी क्या कहा?" वही वे लोग हैं जिन के दिलों पर अल्लाह ने ठप्पा लगा दिया है और वे अपनी इच्छाओं के पीछे चले हैं
Has the time not come for those who have believed that their hearts should become humbly submissive at the remembrance of Allah and what has come down of the truth? And let them not be like those who were given the Scripture before, and a long period passed over them, so their hearts hardened; and many of them are defiantly disobedient.
Kiya abb tak eman walon kay liye waqt nahi aaya kay unkay dil zikar-e-elaahi say our our jo haqutar chuka hai uss say narum hojayen our unki tarah na hojayen jinhen unn say pehlay kitab di gaee thi phir job inn per aik zamana dorazguzer gaya to unkay dil sakht hogaye our inn mein boht say faasiq hain.
क्या उन लोगों के लिए, जो ईमान लाए, अभी वह समय नहीं आया कि उन के दिल अल्लाह की याद के लिए और जो सत्य अवतरित हुआ है उस के आगे झुक जाएँ? और वे उन लोगों की तरह न हो जाएँ, जिन्हें किताब दी गई थी, फिर उन पर दीर्ध समय बीत गया। अन्ततः उन के दिल कठोर हो गए और उन में से अधिकांश अवज्ञाकारी रहे
O you who have believed, when you are told, "Space yourselves" in assemblies, then make space; Allah will make space for you. And when you are told, "Arise," then arise; Allah will raise those who have believed among you and those who were given knowledge, by degrees. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do.
Aey musalmano! Jab tum say kaha jaye kay majlison mein zara kushagi peda kero to tum jagah kushada kerdo Allah tumhen kushadgi dey ga aur jab kaha jaye kay uth kharay hojao to tum uth kharay hojao Allah Taalaa tum mein say unn logon kay jo eman laye hain aur jo ilm diye gaye hain darjay buland ker dey ga aur Allah Taalaa ( her uss kaam say ) jo tum ker rahey ho ( khoob ) khabardaar hai.
ऐ ईमान लाने वालो! जब तुम से कहा जाए कि मजलिसों में जगह कुशादा कर दे, तो कुशादगी पैदा कर दो। अल्लाह तुम्हारे लिए कुशादगी पैदा करेगा। और जब कहा जाए कि उठ जाओ, तो उठ जाया करो। तुम में से जो लोग ईमान लाए हैं और उन्हें ज्ञान प्रदान किया गया है, अल्लाह उन के दरजों को उच्चता प्रदान करेगा। जो कुछ तुम करते हो अल्लाह उस की पूरी ख़बर रखता है
And We have not made the keepers of the Fire except angels. And We have not made their number except as a trial for those who disbelieve - that those who were given the Scripture will be convinced and those who have believed will increase in faith and those who were given the Scripture and the believers will not doubt and that those in whose hearts is hypocrisy and the disbelievers will say, "What does Allah intend by this as an example?" Thus does Allah leave astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And none knows the soldiers of your Lord except Him. And mention of the Fire is not but a reminder to humanity.

और हम ने उस आग पर नियुक्त रहने वालों को फ़रिश्ते ही बनाया है, और हम ने उन की संख्या को इनकार करने वालों के लिए मुसीबत और आज़माइश ही बनाकर रखा है। ताकि वे लोग जिन्हें किताब प्रदान की गई थी पूर्ण विश्वास प्राप्त करें, और वे लोग जो ईमान ले आए वे ईमान में और आगे बढ़ जाएँ। और जिन लोगों को किताब प्रदान की गई वे और ईमान वाले किसी संशय मे न पड़े, और ताकि जिन के दिलों मे रोग है वे और इनकार करने वाले कहें, "इस वर्णन से अल्लाह का क्या अभिप्राय है?" इस प्रकार अल्लाह जिसे चाहता है पथभ्रष्ट कर देता है और जिसे चाहता है संमार्ग प्रदान करता है। और तुम्हारे रब की सेनाओं को स्वयं उस के सिवा कोई नहीं जानता, और यह तो मनुष्य के लिए मात्र एक शिक्षा-सामग्री है
And We have not made the keepers of the Fire except angels. And We have not made their number except as a trial for those who disbelieve - that those who were given the Scripture will be convinced and those who have believed will increase in faith and those who were given the Scripture and the believers will not doubt and that those in whose hearts is hypocrisy and the disbelievers will say, "What does Allah intend by this as an example?" Thus does Allah leave astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And none knows the soldiers of your Lord except Him. And mention of the Fire is not but a reminder to humanity.
