That is from the news of the cities, which We relate to you; of them, some are [still] standing and some are [as] a harvest [mowed down].
Bastiyon ki yeh baaz khabren jinhen hum teray samney biyan farma rahey hain inn mein say baaz to mojood hain aur baaz ( ki faslen ) kat gaee hain.
ये बस्तियों के कुछ हालात हैं जो हम आपको सुना रहे हैं, उनमें से बअज़ अब तक क़ायम हैं और बअज़ मिट गईं।
And We did not wrong them, but they wronged themselves. And they were not availed at all by their gods which they invoked other than Allah when there came the command of your Lord. And they did not increase them in other than ruin.
Hum ney unn per koi zulm nahi kiya bulkay khud unhon ney ho apney upper zulm kiya aur unhen unn kay maboodon ney koi faeeda na phonchaya jinhen woh Allah kay siwa pukartay thay jabkay teray perwerdigar ka hukum aa phoncha bulkay aur inn ka nuksan hi unhon ney barha diya.
और हमने उन पर ज़ुल्म किया बल्कि उन्होंने ख़ुद अपने ऊपर ज़ुल्म किया, फिर जब आपके रब का हुक्म आ गया तो उनके वे माबूद उनके कुछ काम न आए जिनको वे अल्लाह के सिवा पुकारते थे, और उन्होंने उनके हक़ में बरबादी के सिवा कुछ नहीं बढ़ाया।
And thus is the seizure of your Lord when He seizes the cities while they are committing wrong. Indeed, His seizure is painful and severe.
Teray perwerdigar ki pakar ka yehi tareeqa hai jabkay woh bastiyon kay rehney walay zalimon ko pakarta hai beshak uss ki pakar dukh denay wali aur nihayat sakht hai.
और आपके रब की पकड़ ऐसी ही है जबकि वह बस्तियों को उनके ज़ुल्म पर पकड़ता है, बेशक उसकी पकड़ बड़ी दर्दनाक और सख़्त है।
Indeed in that is a sign for those who fear the punishment of the Hereafter. That is a Day for which the people will be collected, and that is a Day [which will be] witnessed.
Yaqeenan iss mein unn logon kay liye nishan-e-ibrat hai jo qayamat kay azab say dartay hain. Woh din jiss mein sab log jama kiye jayen gay aur woh, woh din hai jiss mein sab hazir kiye jayen gay.
इसमें उन लोगों के लिए निशानी है जो आख़िरत के अज़ाब से डरें, वह एक ऐसा दिन है जिसमें सब लोग जमा होंगे और वह हाज़िरी का दिन होगा।
And We do not delay it except for a limited term.
Issay hum jo multavi kertay hain woh sird aik muddat moyyen tak hai.
और हम उसको एक मुद्दत तक के लिए टाल रहे हैं जो मुक़र्रर है।
The Day it comes no soul will speak except by His permission. And among them will be the wretched and the prosperous.
Jiss din woh aajayegi majal na hogi kay Allah ki ijazat kay baghair koi baat bhi kerley so inn mein koi bad bakht hoga aur koi nek bakht.
जब वह दिन आएगा तो कोई जान उसकी इजाज़त के बग़ैर गुफ़्तगू न कर सकेगी, पस उनमें कुछ बदनसीब होंगे और कुछ ख़ुशनसीब।
As for those who were [destined to be] wretched, they will be in the Fire. For them therein is [violent] exhaling and inhaling.
Lekin jo bad bakht huye woh dozakh mein hongay wahan cheekhen gay chillayen gay.
पस जो लोग बदनसीब हैं वे आग में होंगे, उनको वहाँ चीख़ना है और दहाड़ना।
[They will be] abiding therein as long as the heavens and the earth endure, except what your Lord should will. Indeed, your Lord is an effecter of what He intends.
Woh wahin hamesha rehney walay hain jab tak aasman-o-zamin bar qarar rahen siwaye uss waqt kay jo tumhara rab chahaye yaqeenan tera rab jo kuch chahaye ker guzarta hai.
वे उसमें रहेंगे जब तक आसमान और ज़मीन क़ायम हैं मगर जो आपका रब चाहे, बेशक आपका रब कर डालता है जो चाहता है।
And as for those who were [destined to be] prosperous, they will be in Paradise, abiding therein as long as the heavens and the earth endure, except what your Lord should will - a bestowal uninterrupted.
Lekin jo nek bakht kiye gaye woh jannat mein hongay jahan hamesha rahen gay jab tak aasman-o-zamin baqi rahey magar jo tera perwerdigar chahaye. Yeh bey inteha bakhsish hai.
और जो लोग ख़ुशनसीब हैं तो वे जन्नत में होंगे, वे उसमें रहेंगे जब तक आसमान और ज़मीन क़ायम हैं मगर जो आपका रब चाहे, बख़्शिश है बे-इंतिहा।
So do not be in doubt, [O Muhammad], as to what these [polytheists] are worshipping. They worship not except as their fathers worshipped before. And indeed, We will give them their share undiminished.
Iss liye aap inn cheezon say shak-o-shuba mein na rahen jinhen yeh log pooj rahey hain inn ki pooja to iss tarah hai jiss tarah inn kay baap dadon ki iss say pehlay thi. Hum inn sab ko inn ka poora poora hissa baghair kissi kami kay denay walay hi hain.
पस आप उन चीज़ों से शक में न रहें जिनकी ये लोग इबादत कर रहे हैं, ये तो बस उसी तरह इबादत कर रहे हैं जिस तरह उनसे पहले उनके बाप-दादा इबादत कर रहे थे, और हम उनका हिस्सा पूरा-पूरा देंगे बग़ैर किसी कमी के।
And We had certainly given Moses the Scripture, but it came under disagreement. And if not for a word that preceded from your Lord, it would have been judged between them. And indeed they are, concerning the Qur'an, in disquieting doubt.
Yaqeenan hum ney musa ( alh-e-salam ) ko kitab di. Phir iss mein ikhtilaf kiya gaya agar pehlay hi aap kay rab ki baat sadir na hogaee hoti to yaqeenan inn ka faisla ker diya jata enhen to iss mein sakht shuba hai.
और हमने मूसा (अलै॰) को किताब दी फिर उसमें फूट पड़ गई, और अगर आपके रब की तरफ़ से पहले ही एक बात न आ चुकी होती तो उनके दरमियान फ़ैसला कर दिया जाता, और ये लोग उसके बारे में (अभी तक) सख़्त क़िस्म के शक में पड़े हुए हैं।
And indeed, each [of the believers and disbelievers] - your Lord will fully compensate them for their deeds. Indeed, He is Acquainted with what they do.
Yaqeenan inn mein say her aik jab unn kay roo baroo jayega to aap ka rab ussay uss kay aemaal ka poora poora badla dey ga. Be-shak woh jo ker rahey hain unn say woh ba khabar hai.
और यक़ीनन आपका रब हर एक को उसके आमाल का पूरा बदला देगा, वह बाख़बर है उससे जो वे कर रहे हैं।
So remain on a right course as you have been commanded, [you] and those who have turned back with you [to Allah ], and do not transgress. Indeed, He is Seeing of what you do.
Pus aap jamay rahiye jaisa kay aap ko hukum diya gaya hai aur woh log bhi jo aap kay sath toba ker chukay hain khabardaar tum hadd say na barhna Allah tumharay aemaal ka dekhney wala hai.
पस आप जमे रहिए जैसा कि आपको हुक्म हुआ है और वे भी जिन्होंने आपके साथ तौबा की है और हद से न बढ़ो, बेशक वह देख रहा है जो तुम करते हो।
And do not incline toward those who do wrong, lest you be touched by the Fire, and you would not have other than Allah any protectors; then you would not be helped.
Dekho zalimon ki taraf hergiz na jhukna werna tumhen bhi ( dozakh ki ) aag lagg jayegi aur Allah kay siwa aur tumhara madadgar na khara ho sakay ga aur na tum madad diye jaogay.
और उनकी तरफ़ न झुको जिन्होंने ज़ुल्म किया वर्ना तुमको आग पकड़ लेगी और अल्लाह के सिवा तुम्हारा कोई मददगार नहीं, फिर तुम कहीं मदद न पाओगे।
And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night. Indeed, good deeds do away with misdeeds. That is a reminder for those who remember.
Din kay dono siron mein namaz barpa rakh aur raat ki kaee sa’aton mein bhi yaqeenan nekiyan burayion ko door ker deti hain yeh naseehat hai naseehat pakarney walon kay liye.
और नमाज़ क़ायम कीजिए दिन के दोनों हिस्सों में और रात के कुछ हिस्से में, बेशक नेकियाँ दूर करती हैं बुराइयों को, यह एक नसीहत है उन लोगों के लिए जो नसीहत मानें।
And be patient, for indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good.
Aap sabar kertay rahiye yaqeenan Allah Taalaa neki kerney walon ka ajar zaya nahi kerta.
और सब्र करें, बेशक अल्लाह नेकी करने वालों का अज्र ज़ाया नहीं करता।
So why were there not among the generations before you those of enduring discrimination forbidding corruption on earth - except a few of those We saved from among them? But those who wronged pursued what luxury they were given therein, and they were criminals.
Pus kiyon na tum say pehlay zamaney kay logon mein say aisay ehal-e-khair log huye jo zamin mein fasad phelaney say roktay siwaye unn chand kay jinhen hum ney unn mein say nijat di thi zalim log to uss cheez kay peechay parr gaye thay jiss mein unhen aasoodgi di gaee thi aur woh gunehgar thay.
पस क्यों न ऐसा हुआ कि तुमसे पहले की क़ौमों में ऐसे अहले-ख़ैर होते जो लोगों को ज़मीन में फ़साद करने से रोकते, ऐसे थोड़े लोग निकले जिनको हमने उनमें से बचा लिया, और ज़ालिम लोग तो उसी ऐश में पड़े रहे जो उन्हें मिला था और वे मुजरिम थे।
And your Lord would not have destroyed the cities unjustly while their people were reformers.
Aap ka rab aisa nahi kay kissi basti ko zulm say halak ker dey aur wahan kay log neko kaar hon.
और आपका रब ऐसा नहीं कि वह बस्तियों को नाहक़ तबाह कर दे; हालाँकि उसके रहने वाले इस्लाह करने वाले हों।
And if your Lord had willed, He could have made mankind one community; but they will not cease to differ.
Agar aap ka perwerdigar chahata to sab logon ko aik hi raah per aik giroh ker deta. Woh to barabar ikhtilaf kerney walay hi rahen gay.
और अगर आपका रब चाहता तो लोगों को एक ही उम्मत बना देता मगर वे हमेशा इख़्तिलाफ़ में रहेंगे।
Except whom your Lord has given mercy, and for that He created them. But the word of your Lord is to be fulfilled that, "I will surely fill Hell with jinn and men all together."
Ba-juz unn per jin per aap ka rab reham farmaye unhen to issi lie peda kiya hai aur aap kay rab ki yeh baat poori hai kay mein jahannum ko jinno aur insanon sab say pur keroon ga.
सिवाए उनके जिन पर आपका रब रहम फ़रमाए, और उसने इसी लिए उनको पैदा किया है, और आपके रब की बात पूरी हुई कि मैं जहन्नम को जिन्नात और इंसानों से इकट्ठे भर दूँगा।
And each [story] We relate to you from the news of the messengers is that by which We make firm your heart. And there has come to you, in this, the truth and an instruction and a reminder for the believers.
Rasoolon kay sab ehwaal hum aap kay samney aap kay dil ki taskeen kay liye biyan farma rahey hain. Aap kay pass iss surat mein bhi haq phonch chuka jo nasihat aur waaz hai mominon kay liye.
और हम रसूलों के अहवाल से सब चीज़ें आपको सुना रहे हैं जिससे आपके दिल को मज़बूत करें और उसमें तुम्हारे पास हक़ आया है और मोमिनों के लिए नसीहत और याद-दहानी।
And say to those who do not believe, "Work according to your position; indeed, we are working.
Eman na laney walon say keh dijiye kay tum apney tor per amal kiye jao hum bhi amal mein mashghool hain.
और जो लोग ईमान नहीं लाए उनसे कह दीजिए कि तुम अपने तरीक़े पर अमल करते रहो और हम (अपने तरीक़े पर) अमल कर रहे हैं।
And wait, indeed, we are waiting."
Aur tum bhi intizar kero aur hum bhi muntazir hain.
और इंतिज़ार करो हम भी मुंतज़िर हैं।
And to Allah belong the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth and to Him will be returned the matter, all of it, so worship Him and rely upon Him. And your Lord is not unaware of that which you do.
Zaminon aur aasmanon ka ilm-e-ghaib Allah Taalaa hi ko hai tamam moamlaat ka rujoo bhi ussi ki janib hai pus tujhay ussi ki ibadat kerni chahaiye aur ussi per bharosa rakhan chahaiye aur tum jo kuch kertay ho uss say Allah Taalaa bey khabar nahi.
और आसमानों और ज़मीन की छुपी बात अल्लाह के पास है और तमाम उमूर उसी की तरफ़ लौटाए जाते हैं, पस आप उसी की इबादत करें और उसी पर भरोसा रखें, और आपका रब उससे बेख़बर नहीं जो तुम कर रहे हो।
