Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him. And we revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the Descendants, Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and to David We gave the book [of Psalms].
Yaqeenan hum ney aap ki taraf issi tarah wahee ki hai jaisay kay nooh ( alh-e-salam ) aur inn kay baad walay nabiyon ki taraf ki aur hum ney wahee ki ibrahim aur isamail aur ishaq aur yaqoob aur unn ki aulad per aur essa aur ayub aur younus aur haroon aur suleman ki taraf. Aur hum ney dawood ( alh-e-salam ) ko zaboor ata farmaee.
हमने आप की तरफ़ वह्य भेजी है जिस तरह हमने नूह (अलै॰) और उनके बाद के नबियों की तरफ़ वह्य भेजी थी, और हमने वह्य भेजी थी इब्राहीम और इस्माईल और इसहाक़ और याक़ूब और औलादे-याक़ूब और ईसा और अय्यूब और यूनुस और हारून और सुलेमान (अलैहिमुस्सलाम) की तरफ़, और हमने दाऊद (अलै॰) को ज़बूर अता की।
O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.
Aey ehal-e-kitab! Apney deen kay baray mein hadd say na guzar jao aur Allah per ba-juz haq kay aur kuch na kaho maseeh essa bin marium ( alh-e-salam ) to sirf Allah Taalaa kay rasool aur uss kay kalma ( kunn say peda shuda ) hain jisay marium ( alh-e-salam ) ki taraf daal diya tha aur uss kay pass ki rooh hain iss liye tum Allah ko aur uss kay sab rasoolon ko maano aur na kaho kay Allah teen hain iss say baaz aajao kay tumharay liye behtri hai Allah ibadat kay laeeq to sirf aik hi hai aur woh iss say pak hai kay uss ki aulad ho ussi kay liye hai jo kuch aasmanon mein hai aur jo kuch zamin mein hai. Aur Allah kafi hai kaam bananey wala.
ऐ अहले-किताब! अपने दीन में हद से आगे न बढ़ो और अल्लाह के बारे में कोई बात हक़ के सिवा न कहो, मसीह ईसा बिन मरियम (अलैहिमस्सलाम) तो बस अल्लाह के एक रसूल और उसका एक कलिमा हैं जिसको उसने मरियम (अलै॰) की तरफ़ डाला था और उसकी जानिब से एक रूह हैं, पस अल्लाह पर और उसके रसूलों पर ईमान लाओ और यह न कहो कि (ख़ुदा) तीन हैं, (ऐसी बातें कहने से) बाज़ आ जाओ यही तुम्हारे हक़ में बेहतर है, माबूद तो बस एक अल्लाह ही है, वह पाक है कि उसकी औलाद हो, उसी का है जो कुछ आसमानों और ज़मीन में है, और अल्लाह ही का कारसाज़ होना काफ़ी है।
And from those who say, "We are Christians" We took their covenant; but they forgot a portion of that of which they were reminded. So We caused among them animosity and hatred until the Day of Resurrection. And Allah is going to inform them about what they used to do.
Aur jo apney aap ko nasrani kehtay hain hum ney unn say bhi ehad-o-paymaan liya unhon ney bhi iss ka bara hissa faramosh ker diya jo unhen naseehat ki gaee thi to hum ney bhi unn kay aapas mein bughz-o-adawat daal di jo ta-qayamat rahey gi aur jo kuch yeh kertay thay un-qarib Allah Taalaa unhen sab bata dey ga.
और कुछ लोग कहते हैं कि हम नसरानी हैं, उनसे हमने अहद लिया था जो कुछ नसीहत उनको की गई थी उसका बड़ा हिस्सा वे भुला बैठे, फिर हमने क़यामत तक के लिए उनके दरमियान दुश्मनी और बुग़्ज़ डाल दिया, और आख़िर में अल्लाह उनको आगाह कर देगा उससे जो कुछ वे कर रहे थे।
By which Allah guides those who pursue His pleasure to the ways of peace and brings them out from darknesses into the light, by His permission, and guides them to a straight path.
Jiss kay zariye say Allah Taalaa unhen jo raza-e-rab kay darpay hon salamti ki raahen batlata hai aur apni tofiq say andheron say nikal ker noor ki taraf laata hai aur raah-e-raast ki taraf unn ki rehbari kerta hai.
उसके ज़रिए से अल्लाह उन लोगों को सलामती की राहें दिखाता है जो उसकी रज़ा के तालिब हैं और अपनी तौफ़ीक़ से उनको अंधेरों से निकाल कर रौशनी में ला रहा है और सीधी राह की तरफ़ उनकी रहनुमाई करता है।
And the Jews say, "The hand of Allah is chained." Chained are their hands, and cursed are they for what they say. Rather, both His hands are extended; He spends however He wills. And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. And We have cast among them animosity and hatred until the Day of Resurrection. Every time they kindled the fire of war [against you], Allah extinguished it. And they strive throughout the land [causing] corruption, and Allah does not like corrupters.
Aur yahudiyon ney kaha Allah Taalaa kay haath bandhay huye hain aur inn kay iss qol ki waja say inn per laanat ki gaee bulkay Allah Taalaa kay dono haath khulay huye hain. Jiss tarah chahata hai kharach kerta hai aur jo kuch teri taraf teray rab ki janib say utara jata hai woh inn mein say aksar ko to sirkashi aur kufur mein barha deta hai aur hum ney inn mein aapas mein hi qayamat tak kay liye adawat aur bughz daal diya hai aur jab kabhi laraee ki aag ko bharkana chahatay hain to Allah Taalaa ussay bujha deta hai yeh mulk bhar mein shar-o-fasaad machatay phirtay hain aur Allah Taalaa fasaadiyon say mohabbat nahi kerta.
और यहूद कहते हैं कि अल्लाह के हाथ बंधे हुए हैं, उन्हीं के हाथ बंध जाएं और लानत हो उन पर ऐसी बात कहने पर; बल्कि अल्लाह के दोनों हाथ खुले हुए हैं, वह जिस तरह चाहता है ख़र्च करता है, और आपके ऊपर आपके परवरदिगार की तरफ़ से जो कुछ उतरा है वह उनमें से अकसर लोगों की सरकशी और इनकार को बढ़ा रहा है, और हमने उनके दरमियान दुश्मनी और कीना क़यामत तक के लिए डाल दिया है, जब कभी वे लड़ाई की आग भड़काते हैं तो अल्लाह उसको बुझा देता है, और वे ज़मीन में फ़साद फैलाने में मसरूफ़ हैं; हालाँकि अल्लाह फ़साद फैलाने वालों को पसंद नहीं करता।
And the polytheists assign to Allah from that which He created of crops and livestock a share and say, "This is for Allah ," by their claim, " and this is for our partners [associated with Him]." But what is for their "partners" does not reach Allah , while what is for Allah - this reaches their "partners." Evil is that which they rule.
Aur Allah Taalaa ney jo kheti aur mawashi peda kiye hain inn logon ney inn mein say kuch hissa Allah ka muqarrar kiya aur ba-zom khud kehtay hain kay yeh to Allah ka hai aur yeh humaray maboodon ka hai phir jo cheez inn kay maboodon ki hoti hai woh to Allah ki taraf nahi phonchti aur jo cheez Allah ki hoti hai woh inn kay maboodon ki taraf phonch jati hai kiya bura faisla woh kertay hain.
और अल्लाह ने जो खेती और चौपाये पैदा किए उसमें से उन्होंने अल्लाह का कुछ हिस्सा मुक़र्रर किया है, पस वे कहते हैं कि यह हिस्सा अल्लाह का है उनके गुमान के मुताबिक़ और यह हिस्सा हमारे शरीकों का है, फिर जो हिस्सा उनके शरीकों का होता है वह तो अल्लाह को नहीं पहुँचता और जो हिस्सा अल्लाह के लिए है वह उनके शरीकों को पहुँच जाता है, कैसा बुरा फ़ैसला है जो ये लोग करते हैं।
Say, "Indeed, my Lord has guided me to a straight path - a correct religion - the way of Abraham, inclining toward truth. And he was not among those who associated others with Allah ."
Aap keh dijiye kay mujh ko meray rab ney aik seedha raasta bata diya hai kay woh aik deen mustehkum hai jo tareeqa hai ibrahim ( alh-e-salam ) ka jo Allah ki taraf raksoo thay. Aur woh shirk kerney walon mein say na thay.
आप कह दीजिए कि मेरे रब ने मुझको तो सीधा रास्ता बता दिया है दुरुस्त दीन इब्राहीम (अलै॰) की मिल्लत की शक्ल में जो सीधी राह पर चलने वाले थे और शिर्क करने वालों में से न थे।
Say, "Is it other than Allah I should desire as a lord while He is the Lord of all things? And every soul earns not [blame] except against itself, and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you concerning that over which you used to differ."
Aap farma dijiya kay kiya mein Allah kay siwa kissi aur ko rab bananey kay liye talash keroon halankay woh maalik hai her cheez ka aur jo shaks bhi koi amal kerta hai woh ussi per rehta hai aur koi kissi doosray ka bojh na uthaye ga. Phir tum sab ko apney rab kay pass jana hoga. Phir woh tum ko jatlaye ga jiss jiss cheez mein tum ikhtilaf kertay thay.
कहिए कि क्या में अल्लाह के सिवा कोई और रब तलाश करूँ जबकि वही हर चीज़ का रब है, और जो शख़्स भी कोई कमाई करता है वह उसी पर रहती है और कोई बोझ उठाने वाला दूसरे का बोझ न उठाएगा, फिर तुम्हारे रब ही की तरफ़ तुम्हारा लौटना है पस वह तुम्हें बता देगा वह चीज़ जिसमें तुम इख़्तिलाफ़ करते थे।
[Satan] said, "Reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected."
Uss ney kaha mujh ko mohlat dijiye qayamat kay din tak.
इबलीस ने कहा कि तू मुझे उस दिन तक के लिए मोहलत दे जबकि सब लोग उठाए जाएंगे।
[ Allah ] said, "Descend, being to one another enemies. And for you on the earth is a place of settlement and enjoyment for a time."
Haq Taalaa ney farmaya kay neechay aisi halat mein aajao kay tum bahum aik doosray kay dushman hogay aur tumharay wastay zamin mein rehney ki jagah hai aur nafa hasil kerna hai aik waqt tak.
अल्लाह ने कहाः उतरो तुम एक-दूसरे के दुश्मन होगे और तुम्हारे लिए ज़मीन में एक ख़ास मुद्दत तक ठहरना और नफ़ा उठाना है।
We had certainly sent Noah to his people, and he said, "O my people, worship Allah ; you have no deity other than Him. Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a tremendous Day.
Hum ney nooh ( alh-e-salam ) ko unn ki qom ki taraf bheja to unhon ney farmaya aey meri qom! Tum Allah ki ibadat kero uss kay siwa koi mabood honey kay qabil nahi mujh ko tumharay liye aik baray din kay azab ka andesha hai.
हमने नूह (अलै॰) को उनकी क़ौम की तरफ़ भेजा, नूह ने कहाः ऐ मेरी क़ौम! अल्लाह की इबादत करो कि उसके सिवा तुम्हारा कोई माबूद नहीं, मैं तुम पर एक बड़े दिन के अज़ाब से डरता हूँ।
And We divided them into twelve descendant tribes [as distinct] nations. And We inspired to Moses when his people implored him for water, "Strike with your staff the stone," and there gushed forth from it twelve springs. Every people knew its watering place. And We shaded them with clouds and sent down upon them manna and quails, [saying], "Eat from the good things with which We have provided you." And they wronged Us not, but they were [only] wronging themselves.
Aur hum ney unn ko baara khaandanon mein taqseem ker kay sab ki alag alag jamat muqarrar ker di aur hum ney musa ( alh-e-salam ) ko hukum diya jabkay unn ki qom ney unn say pani maanga kay apney asa ko falan pathar per maaro pus foran uss say baara chashmay phoot niklay. Her her shaks ney apney pani peenay ka moqa maloom ker liya aur hum ney unn per abar ko saya figan kiya aur unn ko mann-o-salwa ( taran jabeen aur bateren ) phonchaen khao nafees cheezon say jo hum ney tum ko di hain aur unhon ney humara koi nuksan nahi kiya lekin apna hi nuksan kertay thay.
और हमने उनको बारह घरानों में तक़सीम करके उन्हें अलग-अलग गिरोह बना दिया, और हमने मूसा को हुक्म भेजा उस वक़्त जब उसकी क़ौम ने पानी माँगा कि फ़लाँ पत्थर पर अपनी लाठी मारो तो उससे बारह चश्मे फूट पड़े, हर गिरोह ने अपना पानी पीने का ठिकाना मालूम कर लिया, और हमने उन पर बदलियों का साया किया और हमने उन पर मन्न व सलवा उतारा, खाओ पाकीज़ा चीज़ों में से जो हमने तुमको दी हैं, और उन्होंने हमारा कुछ नहीं बिगाड़ा बल्कि वे ख़ुद अपना ही नुक़सान करते रहे।
And [mention] when your Lord declared that He would surely [continue to] send upon them until the Day of Resurrection those who would afflict them with the worst torment. Indeed, your Lord is swift in penalty; but indeed, He is Forgiving and Merciful.
Aur woh waqt yaad kerna chahaiye kay aap kay rab ney yeh baat batla di kay woh inn yahud per qayamat tak aisay shaks ko zaroor musallat kerta rahey ga jo inn ko sazay-e-shadeed ki takleef phonchata rahey ga bila shuba aap ka rab jaldi hi saza dey deta hai aur bila shuba woh waqaee bari maghfirat aur bari rehmat wala hai.
और जब आपके रब ने ऐलान कर दिया कि वे उन (यहूद) पर क़यामत के दिन तक ज़रूर ऐसे लोग भेजता रहेगा जो उनको निहायत बुरा अज़ाब देंगे, बेशक आप का रब जल्द सज़ा देने वाला है और बेशक वह बख़्शने वाला, मेहरबान है।
And whoever turns his back to them on such a day, unless swerving [as a strategy] for war or joining [another] company, has certainly returned with anger [upon him] from Allah , and his refuge is Hell - and wretched is the destination.
Aur jo shaks unn say iss moqay per pusht pheray ga magar haan jo laraee kay liye paintra badalta ho ya jo ( apni ) jamat ki taraf panah lenay aata ho woh mustasna hai. Baqi aur jo aisa keray ga woh Allah kay ghazab mein aajaye ga. Aur uss ka thikana dozakh hoga woh boht hi buri jagah hai.
और जिसने ऐसे मौक़े पर पीठ फेरी सिवाए इसके कि जंगी चाल के तौर पर हो या दूसरी फ़ौज से जा मिलने के लिए हो तो वह अल्लाह के ग़ज़ब का शिकार हो जाएगा और उसका ठिकाना जहन्नम है, और वह बहुत ही बुरा ठिकाना है।
Indeed, they who have believed and done righteous deeds and humbled themselves to their Lord - those are the companions of Paradise; they will abide eternally therein.
Yaqeenan jo log eman laye aur unhon ney kaam bhi nek kiye aur apney paalney walay ki taraf jhuktay rahey wohi jannat mein janey walay hain jahan woh hamesha hi rehney walay hain.
जो लोग ईमान लाए और जिन्होंने नेक अमल किए और अपने रब के सामने आजिज़ी की वही लोग जन्नत वाले हैं, वे उसमें हमेशा रहेंगे।
And We had certainly sent Noah to his people, [saying], " Indeed, I am to you a clear warner
Yaqeenan hum ney nooh ( alh-e-salam ) ko uss ki qom ki taraf rasool bana ker bheja kay mein tumhen saaf saaf hoshiyar ker denay wala hun.
और हमने नूह (अलै॰) को उसकी क़ौम की तरफ़ भेजा कि मैं तुमको खुला हुआ डराने वाला हूँ।
And it was revealed to Noah that, "No one will believe from your people except those who have already believed, so do not be distressed by what they have been doing.
Nooh ki taraf wahee bheji gaee kay teri qom mein sa yjo eman laa chukay unn kay siwa aur koi abb eman laye ga hi nahi pus tu inn kay kaamon per ghumgeen na ho.
और नूह (अलै॰) की तरफ़ वह्य की गई कि अब आपकी क़ौम में से कोई ईमान नहीं लाएगा सिवाए उसके जो ईमान ला चुका, पस आप उन कामों पर ग़मगीन न हों जो वे कर रहे हैं।
[But] he said, "I will take refuge on a mountain to protect me from the water." [Noah] said, "There is no protector today from the decree of Allah , except for whom He gives mercy." And the waves came between them, and he was among the drowned.
Uss ney jawab diya kay mein to kissi baray pahar ki taraf panah mein aajaon ga jo mujhay pani say bacha ley ga nooh ( alh-e-salam ) ney kaha aaj Allah kay amar say bachaney wala koi nahi sirf wohi bachen gay jin per Allah ka reham hua. Ussi waqt unn dono kay darmiyan moj haeel hogaee aur woh dobney walon mein say ho gaya.
उसने कहाः मैं किसी पहाड़ की पनाह ले लूँगा जो मुझको पानी से बचा लेगा, नूह (अलै॰) ने कहा कि आज कोई अल्लाह के हुक्म से बचाने वाला नहीं मगर वह जिस पर अल्लाह रहम करे, और दोनों के दरमियान मौज हाइल हो गई और वह डूबने वालों में शामिल हो गया।
And O my people, ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him. He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in showers and increase you in strength [added] to your strength. And do not turn away, [being] criminals."
Aey meri qom kay logo! Tum apney paalney walay say apni taqseeron ki moafi talab kero aur uss ki janib mein toba kero takay woh barasney walay badal tum per bhej dey aur tumahri taqat per aur taqat qooat barha dey aur tum jurum kertay huye roo gardani na kero.
और ऐ मेरी क़ौम! अपने रब से माफ़ी चाहो फिर उसकी तरफ़ पलटो, वह तुम्हारे ऊपर ख़ूब बारिशें बरसाएगा और तुम्हारी क़ुव्वत पर मज़ीद क़ुव्वत का इज़ाफ़ा करेगा, और तुम मुजरिम होकर मुँह न फेर लो।
But when he saw their hands not reaching for it, he distrusted them and felt from them apprehension. They said, "Fear not. We have been sent to the people of Lot."
Abb jo dekha kay unn kay hath bhi uss ki taraf nahi phonch rahey to unn say ajnabiyat mehsoos ker kay dil hi dil mein unn say khof kerney lagay unhon ney kaha darro nahi hum to qom-e-loot ki taraf bhejay huye aaye hain.
फिर जब देखा कि उनके हाथ खाने की तरफ़ नहीं बढ़ रहे हैं तो खटक गए और दिल ही दिल में उन से डरे, उन्होंने कहा कि डरो नहीं हम लूत (अलै॰) की क़ौम की तरफ़ भेजे गए हैं।
He said, "If only I had against you some power or could take refuge in a strong support."
Loot ( alh-e-salam ) ney kaha kaash kay mujh mein tum say muqabla kerney ki qooat hoti ya mein kissi zabardast ka aasra pakar pata.
लूत (अलै॰) ने कहाः काश! मेरे पास तुम से मुक़ाबले की क़ुव्वत होती या मैं किसी मज़बूत सहारे की पनाह लेता।
He said, "O my people, have you considered: if I am upon clear evidence from my Lord and He has provided me with a good provision from Him... ? And I do not intend to differ from you in that which I have forbidden you; I only intend reform as much as I am able. And my success is not but through Allah . Upon him I have relied, and to Him I return.
Kaha aey meri qom! Dekho to agar mein apney rab ki taraf say roshan daleel liye huye hon aur uss ney mujhay apney pass say behtareen rozi dey rakhi hai mera yeh irada bilkul nahi kay tumhara khilaf ker kay khud uss cheez ki taraf jhuk jaon jiss say tmhen rok raha hun meri irada to apni taqat bhar islaah kerney ka hi hai. Meri tofiq Allah hi ki madad say hai ussi per mera bharosa hai aur ussi ki taraf mein rujoo kerta hun.
शुऐब (अलै॰) ने कहा कि ऐ मेरी क़ौम! बताओ अगर मैं अपने रब की तरफ़ से एक वाज़ेह दलील पर हूँ और उसने अपनी जानिब से मुझको अच्छा रिज़्क भी दिया, और मैं नहीं चाहता कि मैं ख़ुद वही काम करूँ जिससे मैं तुमको रोक रहा हूँ, मैं तो सिर्फ़ इस्लाह चाहता हूँ जहाँ तक हो सके, और मुझे तौफ़ीक़ तो अल्लाह ही से मिलेगी, उसी पर मैंने भरोसा किया है और उसी की तरफ़ मैं रुजूअ़ करता हूँ।
To Pharaoh and his establishment, but they followed the command of Pharaoh, and the command of Pharaoh was not [at all] discerning.
Firaon aur uss kay sardaron ki taraf phir bhi unn logon ney firaon kay ehkaam ki pairwi ki aur firaon ka koi hukum durust tha hi nahi.
फ़िरऔन और उसके सरदारों की तरफ़, फिर वे फ़िरऔन के हुक्म पर चले; हालाँकि फ़िरऔन का कोई हुक्म दुरुस्त न था।
And the king said, "Bring him to me." But when the messenger came to him, [Joseph] said, "Return to your master and ask him what is the case of the women who cut their hands. Indeed, my Lord is Knowing of their plan."
Aur badshah ney kaha yousuf ko meray pass lao jab qasid yousuf kay pass phoncha to enhon ney kaha apney badshah kay pass wapis jaa aur uss say pooch kay unn aurton ka haqeeqi waqiya kiya hai jinhon ney apney hath kaat liye thay? Unn kay heelay ko ( sahih tor per ) jannay wala mera perwerdigar hi hai.
और बादशाह ने कहा कि उसको मेरे पास लाओ, फिर जब क़ासिद उसके पास आया तो उसने कहा कि तुम अपने आक़ा के पास वापस जाओ और उससे पूछो कि उन औरतों का मामला क्या है जिन्होंने अपने हाथ काट लिए थे, मेरा रब तो उन औरतों के फ़रेब से ख़ूब वाक़िफ़ है।
Alif, Lam, Ra. [This is] a Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that you might bring mankind out of darknesses into the light by permission of their Lord - to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy -
Alif-laam-raa! Yeh aali shaan kitab hum ney aap ki taraf utari hai kay aap logon ko andheron say ujalay ki taraf layen inn kay perwerdigar kay hukum say zabardast aur tareefon walay Allah ki taraf.
अलिफ़-लाम-रा, यह किताब है जिसको हमने आपकी तरफ़ नाज़िल किया है; ताकि आप लोगों को अंधेरों से निकाल कर उजाले की तरफ़ लाएं, उनके रब के हुक्म से ख़ुदा-ए-अज़ीज़ व हमीद के रास्ते की तरफ़।
Or do you have oaths [binding] upon Us, extending until the Day of Resurrection, that indeed for you is whatever you judge?
Yea tum nay hum say kuch qasman li hain ?jo qzayamat tak baaqi rahen kay tumharay liye who sab hai jot um apni taraf say muqarrar kerlo.
या तुम ने हम से क़समें ले रखी हैं जो क़ियामत के दिन तक बाक़ी रहने वाली हैं कि तुम्हारे लिए वही कुछ है जो तुम फ़ैसला करो!
