And [recall] when Moses said to his people, "O my people, indeed you have wronged yourselves by your taking of the calf [for worship]. So repent to your Creator and kill yourselves. That is best for [all of] you in the sight of your Creator." Then He accepted your repentance; indeed, He is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.
Jab ( hazrat ) musa ( alh-e-salam ) ney apni qom say kaha kay aey meri qom! bachray ko mabood bana ker tum ney apni janon per zulm kiya hai abb tum apney peda kerney walay ki taraf rujoo kero apney ko aapas mein qatal kero tumhari behtri Allah Taalaa kay nazdeek issi mein hai to uss ney tumhari tauba qabool ki woh tauba qabool kerney wala aur reham-o-karam kerney wala hai.
और जब मूसा ने अपनी क़ौम से कहा कि ऐ मेरी क़ौम! तुमने बछड़े को माबूद बनाकर अपनी जानों पर ज़ुल्म किया है, अब अपने पैदा करने वाले की तरफ़ मुतवज्जह हो और अपने (मुजरिमों) को अपने हाथों से क़त्ल करो, यह तुम्हारे लिए तुम्हारे पैदा करने वाले के नज़दीक बेहतर है, तो अल्लाह ने तुम्हारी तौबा क़बूल फ़रमाई, बेशक वही तौबा क़बूल करने वाला रहम करने वाला है।
And it has already come down to you in the Book that when you hear the verses of Allah [recited], they are denied [by them] and ridiculed; so do not sit with them until they enter into another conversation. Indeed, you would then be like them. Indeed Allah will gather the hypocrites and disbelievers in Hell all together -
Aur Allah Taalaa tumharay pass apni kitab mein yeh hukum utaar chuka hai kay tum jab kissi majlis walon ko Allah Taalaa ki aayaton kay sath kufur kertay aur mazaq uratay huye suno to uss majmay mein unn kay sath na betho! Jab tak kay woh iss kay ilawa aur baaten na kerney lagen ( werna ) tum bhi uss waqt unhi jaisay ho yaqeenan Allah Taalaa tamam kafiron aur sab munafiqon ko jahannum mein jama kerney wala hai.
और अल्लाह किताब में तुम पर यह हुक्म उतार चुका है कि जब तुम सुनो कि अल्लाह की निशानियों का इनकार किया जा रहा है और उनका मज़ाक़ उड़ाया जा रहा है तो तुम उनके साथ न बैठो यहाँ तक कि वे दूसरी बात में मशग़ूल हो जाएं वर्ना तुम भी उन्हीं जैसे हो गए, अल्लाह मुनाफ़िक़ों को और काफ़िरों को जहन्नम में एक जगह इकट्ठा करने वाला है।
And do not eat of that upon which the name of Allah has not been mentioned, for indeed, it is grave disobedience. And indeed do the devils inspire their allies [among men] to dispute with you. And if you were to obey them, indeed, you would be associators [of others with Him].
Aur aisay janwaron mein say mat khao jin per Allah ka naam na liya gaya ho aur yeh kaam na farmani ka hai aur yaqeenan shayateen apney doston kay dilon mein daaltay hain takay yeh tum say jidal keren aur agar tum inn logon ki ita’at kerney lago to yaqeenan tum mushrik hojao.
और तुम उस जानवर में से न खाओ जिस पर अल्लाह का नाम न लिया गया हो, यक़ीनन यह गुनाह की बात है, और शयातीन अपने साथियों के दिलों में (वसवसे) डाल रहे हैं ताकि वे तुम से झगड़ें, और अगर तुम उनका कहा मानोगे तो तुम भी मुशरिक हो जाओगे।
Indeed, you approach men with desire, instead of women. Rather, you are a transgressing people."
Tum mardon kay sath shewat rani kertay ho aurton ko chor ker bulkay tum to hadd hi say guzar gaye ho.
तुम औरतों को छोड़ कर मर्दों से अपनी ख़्वाहिश पूरी करते हो; बल्कि तुम हद से गुज़र जाने वाले लोग हो।
Said the eminent ones who disbelieved among his people, "If you should follow Shu'ayb, indeed, you would then be losers."
Aur unn ki qom kay kafir sardaron ney kaha agar tum shoaib ( alh-e-salam ) ki raah per chalo gay to be-shak bara nuksan uthao gay.
और उन बड़ों ने जिन्होंने उसकी क़ौम में से इनकार किया था कहा कि अगर तुम शुऐब की पैरवी करोगे तो तुम बरबाद हो जाओगे।
And We took the Children of Israel across the sea; then they came upon a people intent in devotion to [some] idols of theirs. They said, "O Moses, make for us a god just as they have gods." He said, "Indeed, you are a people behaving ignorantly.
Aur hum ney bani israeel ko darya kay paar utaar diya. Pus unn logon ka aik qom per guzar hua jo apney chand button say lagay bethay thay kehney lagay aey musa! Humaray liye bhi aik mabood aisa hi muqarrar ker dijiye! Jaisay inn kay yeh mabood hain. Aap ney farmaya kay waqaee tum logon mein bari jahalat hai.
और हमने बनी-इस्राईल को समुंदर के पार उतार दिया फिर उनका गुज़र एक ऐसी क़ौम पर हुआ जो अपने बुतों (की इबादत) पर जमी हुई थी, उन्होंने कहाः ऐ मूसा! हमारी इबादत के लिए भी एक बुत बना दो जैसे इनके बुत हैं, मूसा (अलै॰) ने कहाः तुम तो बड़े जाहिल लोग हो।
Say, "Spend willingly or unwillingly; never will it be accepted from you. Indeed, you have been a defiantly disobedient people."
Keh dijiye kay tum khushi ya na khushi kissi tarah bhi kharach kero qabool to hergiz na kiya jayega yaqeenan tum fasiq log ho.
कह दीजिए कि तुम ख़ुशी से ख़र्च करो या नाख़ुशी से तुमसे हरगिज़ क़बूल न किया जाएगा, बेशक तुम नाफ़रमान लोग हो।
If Allah should return you to a faction of them [after the expedition] and then they ask your permission to go out [to battle], say, "You will not go out with me, ever, and you will never fight with me an enemy. Indeed, you were satisfied with sitting [at home] the first time, so sit [now] with those who stay behind."
Pus agar Allah Taalaa aap ko inn ki kissi jamat ki taraf lota ker wapis ley aaye phir yeh aap say maidan-e-jang mein nikalney ki ijazat talab keren to aap keh dijiye kay tum meray hergiz chal nahi saktay aur na meray sath tum dushmanon say laraee ker saktay ho. Tum ney pehli martaba hi beth rehney ko pasand kiya tha pus tum peechay reh janey walon mein hi bethay raho.
पस अगर अल्लाह आपको उनमें से किसी गिरोह की तरफ़ वापस लाए और वे आपसे जिहाद के लिए निकलने की इजाज़त माँगें तो कह दीजिए कि तुम मेरे साथ कभी नहीं चलोगे और न मेरे साथ होकर किसी दुश्मन से लड़ोगे, तुमने पहली बार भी बैठे रहने को पसंद किया था पस पीछे रहने वालों के साथ बैठे रहो।
And it is He who created the heavens and the earth in six days - and His Throne had been upon water - that He might test you as to which of you is best in deed. But if you say, "Indeed, you are resurrected after death," those who disbelieve will surely say, "This is not but obvious magic."
Allah hi woh hai jiss ney cheh din mein aasman-o-zamin ko peda kiya aur uss ka arsh pani per tha takay woh tumhen aazmaye kay tum mein say achay amal wala kaun hai agar aap inn say kahen kay tum log marney kay baad utha kharay kiye jaogay to kafir log palat ker jawab den gay kay yeh to nira saaf saaf jadoo hi hai.
और वही है जिसने आसमानों और ज़मीन को छः दिनों में पैदा किया और उसका अर्श पानी पर था; ताकि तुमको आज़माए कि कौन तुम में से अच्छा काम करता है, और अगर आप कहो कि मरने के बाद तुम लोग उठाए जाओगे तो मुनकिरीन कहते हैं कि यह तो एक खुला हुआ जादू है।
So when he had furnished them with their supplies, he put the [gold measuring] bowl into the bag of his brother. Then an announcer called out, "O caravan, indeed you are thieves."
Phir jab unhen unn ka saman asbaab theek thaak ker kay diya to apney bhai kay asbaab mein pani ka piyala rakh diya. Phir aik aawaz denay walay ney pukar ker kaha aey qafilay walo! Tum log to chor ho.
फिर जब उनका सामान तैयार करवा दिया तो पीने का प्याला अपने भाई के सामान में रख दिया, फिर एक पुकारने वाले ने पुकारा कि ऐ क़ाफ़िले वालो! तुम लोग चोर हो।
He said, "Indeed, you are people unknown."
To unhon ( loot alh-e-salam ) ney kaha tum log to kuch anjan say maloon horahey ho.
उन्होंने कहा कि तुम लोग अजनबी मालूम होते हो।
And when those who associated others with Allah see their "partners," they will say," Our Lord, these are our partners [to You] whom we used to invoke besides You." But they will throw at them the statement, "Indeed, you are liars."
Aur jab mushrikeen apney sharikon ko dekh len gay to kahen gay aey humaray perwerdigar! Yehi humaray woh shareek hain jinhen hum tujhay chor ker pukara kertay thay pus woh unhen jawab den gay kay tum bilkul hi jhootay ho.
और जब मुशरिक लोग अपने शरीकों को देखेंगे तो कहेंगे कि ऐ हमारे रब! यही हमारे वे शुरका हैं जिनको हम तुझे छोड़ कर पुकारते थे, तब वह बात उनके ऊपर डाल देंगे कि तुम झूठे हो।
Then, has your Lord chosen you for [having] sons and taken from among the angels daughters? Indeed, you say a grave saying.
Kiya beton kay liye to Allah ney tumhen chant liya aur khud apney liye farishton ko larkiyan bana lin? Be-shak tum boht bara bol bol rahey ho.
क्या तुम्हारे रब ने तुमको बेटे चुन कर दिए और अपने लिए फ़रिश्तों में से बेटियाँ बना लीं, बेशक तुम बड़ी सख़्त बात कहते हो।
So they returned to [blaming] themselves and said [to each other], "Indeed, you are the wrongdoers."
Pus yeh log apney dilon mein qaeel hogaye aur kehney lagay waqaee zalim to tum hi ho.
तब वे उस की ओर पलटे और कहने लगे, "वास्तव में, ज़ालिम तो तुम्हीं लोग हो।"
Indeed, you [disbelievers] and what you worship other than Allah are the firewood of Hell. You will be coming to [enter] it.
Tum aur Allah kay siwa jin jin ki tum ibadat kertay ho sab dozakh ka endhan bano gay tum sab dozakh mein janey walay ho.
"निश्चय ही तुम और वह कुछ जिन को तुम अल्लाह को छोड़कर पूजते हो सब जहन्नम के ईंधन हो। तुम उस के घाट उतरोगे।"
Then indeed, after that you are to die.
Iss kay baad phir tum sab yaqeenan marr janey walay ho.
फिर तुम अवश्य मरने वाले हो
Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, will be resurrected.
Phir qayamat kay din bila shuba tum sab uthaye jaogay.
फिर क़ियामत के दिन तुम निश्चय ही उठाए जाओगे
And if you should obey a man like yourselves, indeed, you would then be losers.
Agar tum ney apnay jesay hi insan ki tabeydari kerli to be-shak tum sakht khasaray walay ho.
यदि तुम अपने ही जैसे एक मनुष्य के आज्ञाकारी हुए तो निश्चय ही तुम घाटे में पड़ गए
Do not cry out today. Indeed, by Us you will not be helped.
Aaj mat bilbilao yaqeenan tum humaray muqabley per madad na kiye jao gay.
(कहा जाएगा,) "आज चिल्लाओ मत, तुम्हें हमारी ओर से कोई सहायता मिलने वाली नहीं
And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued."
Aur hum ney musa ko wahee ki kay raaton raat meray bandon ko nikal ley chal tum sab peecha kiye jao gay.
हम ने मूसा की ओर प्रकाशना की, "मेरे बन्दों को लेकर रातों-रात निकल जा। निश्चय ही तुम्हारा पीछा किया जाएगा।"
And [mention] Lot, when he said to his people, "Indeed, you commit such immorality as no one has preceded you with from among the worlds.
Aur hazrat loot ( alh-e-salam ) ka bhi ziker kero jabkay unhon ney apni qom say farmaya kay tum to iss bad-kaari per utar aaye ho jissay tum say pehlay duniya bhar mein say kissi ney nahi kiya.
और हम ने लूत को भेजा, जबकि उस ने अपनी क़ौम के लोगों से कहा, "तुम जो वह अश्लील कर्म करते हो, जिसे तुम से पहले सारे संसार में किसी ने नहीं किया
But those who disbelieve say, "Shall we direct you to a man who will inform you [that] when you have disintegrated in complete disintegration, you will [then] be [recreated] in a new creation?
Aur kafiron ney kaha ( aao ) hum tumhen aik aisa shaks batlayen jo tumhen yeh khabar phoncha raha hai kay jab tum bilkul hi reza reza hojao gay to phir say aik naee pedaeesh mein aao gay.
जिन लोगों ने इनकार किया वे कहते हैं कि "क्या हम तुम्हें एक ऐसा आदमी बताएँ जो तुम्हें ख़बर देता है कि जब तुम बिलकुल चूर्ण-विचूर्ण हो जाओगे तो तुम नवीन काय में जीवित होगे?"
They will say, "Indeed, you used to come at us from the right."
Kahen gay kay tum to humaray pass humari dayen taraf say aatay thay.
"तुम तो हमारे पास आते थे दाहिने से (और बाएँ से)"
Indeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment,
Yaqeenan tum dard-naak azab ( ka maza ) chakhney walay ho.
निश्चय ही तुम दुखद यातना का मज़ा चखोगे। -
Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, before your Lord, will dispute.
Phir tum sab kay sab qayamat kay din apnay rab kay samney jhagro gay.
फिर निश्चय ही तुम सब क़ियामत के दिन अपने रब के समक्ष झगड़ोगे
And they will call, "O Malik, let your Lord put an end to us!" He will say, "Indeed, you will remain."
Aur pukar pukar ker kahen gay kay aey malik! Tera rab humara kaam hi tamam ker day woh kahega kay tumhen to ( hamesha ) rehna hai.
वे पुकारेंगे, "ऐ मालिक! तुम्हारा रब हमारा काम ही तमाम कर दे!" वह कहेगा, "तुम्हें तो इसी दशा में रहना है।"
Indeed, We will remove the torment for a little. Indeed, you [disbelievers] will return [to disbelief].
Hum azab ko thora door ker den gay to phir tum apni ussi halat per aajao gay.
"हम यातना थोड़ा हटा देते हैं तो तुम पुनः फिर जाते हो।
[ Allah said], "Then set out with My servants by night. Indeed, you are to be pursued.
( hum ney keh diya ) kay raton raat tu meray bando ko ley ker nikal yaqeenan tumhara peecha kiya jayega.
"अच्छा तुम रातों रात मेरे बन्दों को लेकर चले जाओ। निश्चय ही तुम्हारा पीछा किया जाएगा
Indeed, you are in differing speech.
Yaqeenan tum mukhtalif baat mein paray huye ho.
निश्चय ही तुम उस बात में पड़े हुए हो जिनमें कथन भिन्न-भिन्न हैं
Then indeed you, O those astray [who are] deniers,
Phir tum aey gumraho jhutlanay walon!
"फिर तुम ऐ गुमराहो, झुठलाने वालो!
[O disbelievers], eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are criminals.
( aey jhutlanay walon tum duniya mein ) thora sa khaloo aur faeeda uthalo beshak tum gunehgar ho
"खा लो और मज़े कर लो थोड़ा-सा, वास्तव में तुम अपराधी हो!"
