And He taught Adam the names - all of them. Then He showed them to the angels and said, "Inform Me of the names of these, if you are truthful."
Aur Allah Taalaa ney aadam ko tamam naam sikha ker unn cheezon ko farishton kay samney paish kiya aur farmaya agar tum sachay ho to inn cheezon kay naam batao.
और अल्लाह ने सिखा दिए आदम को सारे नाम फिर उनको फ़रिश्तों के सामने पेश किया और कहा कि अगर तुम सच्चे हो तो मुझे इन चीज़ों के नाम बताओ।
Have you not considered those who left their homes in many thousands, fearing death? Allah said to them, "Die"; then He restored them to life. And Allah is full of bounty to the people, but most of the people do not show gratitude.
Kiya tum ney unhen nahi dekha jo hazaron ki tadaad mein thay aur maut kay darr kay maaray apney gharon say nikal kharay huye thay Allah Taalaa ney unhen farmaya marr jao phir unhen zinda ker diya be-shak Allah Taalaa logon per bara fazal wala hai lekin aksar log na shukray hain.
क्या तुमने उन लोगों को नहीं देखा जो भाग खड़े हुए अपने घरों से मौत के डर से, हालाँकि वे हज़ारों की तादाद में थे, तो अल्लाह ने उनसे कहा कि मर जाओ, फिर उन्हें ज़िंदा किया, बेशक अल्लाह लोगों पर बड़ा ही फ़ज़्ल करने वाला है मगर बहुत सारे लोग शुक्र नहीं करते।
[The Day] when Allah will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, remember My favor upon you and upon your mother when I supported you with the Pure Spirit and you spoke to the people in the cradle and in maturity; and [remember] when I taught you writing and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel; and when you designed from clay [what was] like the form of a bird with My permission, then you breathed into it, and it became a bird with My permission; and you healed the blind and the leper with My permission; and when you brought forth the dead with My permission; and when I restrained the Children of Israel from [killing] you when you came to them with clear proofs and those who disbelieved among them said, "This is not but obvious magic."
Jab kay Allah Taalaa irshad farmaye ga kay aey essa bin marium mera inam yaad kero jo tum per aur tumhari walida per hua hai jab mein ney tumhen rooh-ul-quddus say taeed di. Tum logon say kalaam kertay thay godd mein bhi aur bari umar mein bhi aur jabkay mein ney tum ko kitab aur hikmat ki baaten aur toraat aur injeel ki taleem di aur jab kay tum meray hukum say gaaray say aik shakal banatay thay jaisay parinday ki shakal hoti hai phir tum iss kay andar phoonk maar detay thay jiss say woh parind bann jata tha meray hukum say aur tum acha ker detay thay maadar zaad andhay ko aur korhi ko meray hukum say aur jab kay tum murdon ko nikal khara ker letay thay meray hukum say aur jab kay mein ney bani israeel ko tum say baaz rakha jab tum unn kay pass daleelen ley ker aaye thay phir unn mein jo kafir thay unhon ney kaha tha kay ba-juz khullay jadoo kay yeh aur kuch bhi nahi.
जब अल्लाह कहेगाः ऐ ईसा बिन मरियम! मेरी उस नेमत को याद करो जो मैंने तुम पर और तुम्हारी माँ पर की, जबकि मैंने रूहुल-क़ुद्स से तुम्हारी मदद की, तुम लोगों से बात करते थे गोद में भी और बड़ी उम्र में भी, और जब मैंने तुमको किताब और हिकमत और तौरात व इंजील की तालीम दी, और जब तुम बनाते थे मिट्टी से परिंदे जैसी सूरत मेरे हुक्म से फिर उस में फूँक मारते थे तो वे मेरे हुक्म से परिंदा बन जाती थी, और तुम अंधे और कोढ़ी को मेरे हुक्म से अच्छा कर देते थे, और जब तुम मुर्दों को मेरे हुक्म से निकाल खड़ा करते थे, और जब मैंने बनी-इस्राईल को तुम से रोका जबकि तुम उनके पास खुली निशानियाँ लेकर आए तो उनमें से काफ़िरों ने कहा कि यह तो बस एक खुला हुआ जादू है।
We had certainly sent Noah to his people, and he said, "O my people, worship Allah ; you have no deity other than Him. Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a tremendous Day.
Hum ney nooh ( alh-e-salam ) ko unn ki qom ki taraf bheja to unhon ney farmaya aey meri qom! Tum Allah ki ibadat kero uss kay siwa koi mabood honey kay qabil nahi mujh ko tumharay liye aik baray din kay azab ka andesha hai.
हमने नूह (अलै॰) को उनकी क़ौम की तरफ़ भेजा, नूह ने कहाः ऐ मेरी क़ौम! अल्लाह की इबादत करो कि उसके सिवा तुम्हारा कोई माबूद नहीं, मैं तुम पर एक बड़े दिन के अज़ाब से डरता हूँ।
So the eminent among those who disbelieved from his people said, " We do not see you but as a man like ourselves, and we do not see you followed except by those who are the lowest of us [and] at first suggestion. And we do not see in you over us any merit; rather, we think you are liars."
Uss ki qom kay kafiron kay sardaron ney jawab diya kay hum to tujhay apnye jaisa insan hi dekhtay hain aur teray tabeydaron ko bhi hum dekhtay hain kay yeh log wazeh tor per siwaye neech logon kay aur koi nahi jo bey sochay samajhay ( tumhari pairwi ker rahey hain ) hum to tumhari kissi qisam ki bartari apney upper nahi dekh rahey bulkay hum to tumhen jhoota samajh rahey hain.
उसकी क़ौम के सरदारों ने जिन्होंने इनकार किया था कहा कि हम तो तुमको बस अपने जैसा एक आदमी देखते हैं और हम नहीं देखते कि किसी ने तुम्हारे ताबेदारी की हो सिवाए उनके जो हम में बेहैसियत और नासमझ लोग हैं, और हम नहीं देखते कि तुमको हमारे ऊपर कोई बड़ाई हासिल हो; बल्कि हम तो तुमको झूठा ख़्याल करते हैं।
And Noah called to his Lord and said, "My Lord, indeed my son is of my family; and indeed, Your promise is true; and You are the most just of judges!"
Nooh ( alh-e-salam ) ney apney perwerdigar ko pukara aur kaha kay meray rab mera beta to meray ghar walon mein say hai yaqeenan tera wada bilkul sacha hai aur tu tamam hakimon say behtar haakim hai.
और नूह (अलै॰) ने अपने रब को पुकारा और कहा कि ऐ मेरे रब! मेरा बेटा मेरे घर वालों में से है, और बेशक आपका वादा सच्चा है और आप सबसे बड़े हाकिम हैं।
But they hamstrung her, so he said, "Enjoy yourselves in your homes for three days. That is a promise not to be denied."
Phir bhi inn logon ney iss oontni kay paon kaat dalay iss per saleh ney kaha acha tum apney gharon mein teen teen din tak to reh seh lo yeh wada jhoota nahi hai.
फिर उन्होंने उसके पाँव काट डाले, तब सालेह (अलै॰) ने कहा कि तीन दिन और अपने घरों में फ़ायदा उठा लो, यह एक वादा है जो झूठा न होगा।
And they will come out [for judgement] before Allah all together, and the weak will say to those who were arrogant, "Indeed, we were your followers, so can you avail us anything against the punishment of Allah ?" They will say, "If Allah had guided us, we would have guided you. It is all the same for us whether we show intolerance or are patient: there is for us no place of escape."
Sab kay sab Allah kay samney roo-baroo kharay hongay uss waqt kamzor log baraee walon say kahen gay hum to tumharay tabeydaar thay to kiys tum Allah kay azabon mein say kuch azab hum say door ker sakney walay ho? Woh jawab den gay kay agar Allah humen hidayat deta to hum bhi zaroor tumhari rehnumaee kertay abb to hum per bey qarari kerna aur sabar kerna dono hi barabar hai humaray liye koi chutkara nahi.
और अल्लाह के सामने सब पेश होंगे, फिर कमज़ोर लोग उन लोगों से कहेंगे जो बड़ाई वाले थे कि हम तुम्हारे ताबे थे तो क्या तुम अल्लाह के अज़ाब से कुछ हमको बचाओगे, वे कहेंगे कि अगर अल्लाह हमको कोई राह दिखाता तो हम तुमको भी ज़रूर वह राह दिखा देते, अब हमारे लिए बराबर है कि हम बेक़रार हों या सब्र करें, हमारे बचने की कोई सूरत नहीं।
And We had certainly given Moses nine evident signs, so ask the Children of Israel [about] when he came to them and Pharaoh said to him, "Indeed I think, O Moses, that you are affected by magic."
Hum ney musa ko no moajzzay bilkul saaf saaf ata farmaye tu khud hi bani isaeel say pooch ley kay jab woh inn kay pass phonchay to firaon bola kay aey musa! Meray khayal mein to tujh per jadoo ker diya gaya hai.
हम ने मूसा को नौ खुली निशानियाँ प्रदान की थी। अब इसराईल की सन्तान से पूछ लो कि जब वह उन के पास आया और फ़िरऔन ने उस से कहा, "ऐ मूसा! मैं तो तुम्हें बड़ा जादूगर समझता हूँ।"
And he had fruit, so he said to his companion while he was conversing with him, "I am greater than you in wealth and mightier in [numbers of] men."
Al-gharz uss kay pass meway thay aik din uss ney baton hi baton mein apney sathi say kaha kay mein tujh say ziyada maaldaar hun aur juthay kay aitbaar say bhi ziyada mazboot hun.
उसे ख़ूब फल और पैदावार प्राप्त हुई। इस पर वह अपने साथी से, जबकि वह उस से बातचीत कर रहा था, कहने लगा, "मैं तुझ से माल और दौलत में बढ़कर हूँ और मुझे जनशक्ति भी अधिक प्राप्त है।"
When he saw a fire and said to his family, "Stay here; indeed, I have perceived a fire; perhaps I can bring you a torch or find at the fire some guidance."
Jabkay uss ney aag dekh ker apney ghar walon say kaha kay tum zara si dare thehar jao mujhay aag dikhaee di hai. Boht mumkin hai kay mein iss ka koi angara tumharay pass laon yaa aag kay pass say rastay ki itlaa paon.
जबकि उस ने एक आग देखी तो उस ने अपने घर वालों से कहा, "ठहरो! मैंने एक आग देखी है। शायद कि तुम्हारे लिए उस में से कोई अंगारा ले आऊँ या उस आग पर मैं मार्ग का पता पा लूँ।"
And We had certainly sent Noah to his people, and he said, "O my people, worship Allah ; you have no deity other than Him; then will you not fear Him?"
Yaqeenan hum ney nooh ( alh-e-salam ) ko uss ki qom ki taraf rasool bana ker bheja uss ney kaha aey meri qom kay logo! Allah ki ibadat kero aur uss kay siwa tumhara koi mabood nahi kiya tum ( uss say ) nahi dartay.
हम ने नूह को उस की क़ौम की ओर भेजा तो उस ने कहा, "ऐ मेरी क़ौम के लोगो! अल्लाह की बन्दगी करो। उस के सिवा तुम्हारा और कोई इष्ट-पूज्य नहीं है तो क्या तुम डर नहीं रखते?"
But the eminent among those who disbelieved from his people said, "This is not but a man like yourselves who wishes to take precedence over you; and if Allah had willed [to send a messenger], He would have sent down angels. We have not heard of this among our forefathers.
Uss ki qom kay kafir sardaron ney saaf keh diya kay yeh to tum jesa hi insan hai yeh tum per fazeelat aur baraee hasil kerna chahata hai. Agar Allah hi ko manzoor hota to kissi farishtay ko utarta hum ney to issay apnay aglay baap dadon kay zamaney mein suna hi nahi.
इस पर उन की क़ौम के सरदार, जिन्होंने इनकार किया था, कहने लगे, "यह तो बस तुम्हीं जैसा एक मनुष्य है। चाहता है कि तुम पर श्रेष्ठता प्राप्त करे।""अल्लाह यदि चाहता तो फ़रिश्ते उतार देता। यह बात तो हम ने अपने अगले बाप-दादा के समयों से सुनी ही नहीं
And he took attendance of the birds and said, "Why do I not see the hoopoe - or is he among the absent?
Aap ney paerindon ka jaeeza liya aur farmaney lagay yeh kiya baat hai kay mein hud hud ko nahi dekhta? Kiya waqaee woh ghair hazir hai?
उस ने पक्षियों की जाँच-पड़ताल की तो कहा, "क्या बात है कि मैं हुदहुद को नहीं देख रहा हूँ, (वह यहीं कहीं है) या ग़ायब हो गया है?
But the hoopoe stayed not long and said, "I have encompassed [in knowledge] that which you have not encompassed, and I have come to you from Sheba with certain news.
Kuch ziyada dare na guzri thi kay aaker uss ney kaha mein aik aisi cheez ki khabar laya hun kay tujhay uss ki khabar hi nahi mein saba ki aik sachi khabar teray pass laya hun.
फिर कुछ अधिक देर नहीं ठहरा कि उस ने आकर कहा, "मैंने वह जानकारी प्राप्त की है जो आपको मालूम नहीं है। मैं सबा से आपके पास एक विश्वसनीय सूचना लेकर आया हूँ
So he watered [their flocks] for them; then he went back to the shade and said, "My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need."
Pus aap ney khud inn janwaron ko pani pila diya phir saye ki taraf hut aaye aur kehnay lagay aey perwerdigar! Tu jo kuch bhalaee meri taraf utaray mein uss ka mohtaj hun.
तब उस ने उन दोनों के लिए पानी पिला दिया। फिर छाया की ओर पलट गया और कहा, "ऐ मेरे रब, जो भलाई भी तू मेरी ओर उतार दे, मैं उस का ज़रूरतमंद हूँ।"
And to Madyan [We sent] their brother Shu'ayb, and he said, "O my people, worship Allah and expect the Last Day and do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption."
Aur madiyan ki taraf hum ney unn kay bhai shoaib ( alh-e-salam ) ko bheja unhon ney kaha aey meri qom kay logo! Allah ki ibadat kero qayamat kay din ki tawaqqa rakho aur zamin mein fasad na kertay phiro.
और मदयन की ओर उन के भाई शुऐब को भेजा। उस ने कहा, "ऐ मेरी क़ौम के लोगो, अल्लाह की बन्दगी करो। और अंतिम दिन की आशा रखो और धरती में बिगाड़ फैलाते मत फिरो।"
And said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill."
Aur kaha mein to beemar hun.
और कहा, "मैं तो निढाल हूँ।"
Then he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat?
Aap ( chup chupatay ) unn kay maboodon kay pass gaye aur farmaney lagay tum khatay kiyon nahi?
फिर वह आँख बचाकर उन के देवताओं की ओर गया और कहा, "क्या तुम खाते नहीं?
Indeed this, my brother, has ninety-nine ewes, and I have one ewe; so he said, 'Entrust her to me,' and he overpowered me in speech."
( suniyey ) yeh mera bhai hai iss kay pass ninnanway dunbiyan hain aur meray pass aik hi dunbi hai lekin yeh mujh say keh raha hai kay apni yeh aik bhi mujh hi ko day dey aur mujh per baat mein bari sakhti baratta hai.
यह मेरा भाई है। इस के पास निन्यानबे दुंबियाँ हैं और मेरे पास एक दुंबी है। अब इसका कहना है कि इसे भी मुझे सौप दे और बातचीत में इस ने मुझे दबा लिया।"
And he said, "Indeed, I gave preference to the love of good [things] over the remembrance of my Lord until the sun disappeared into the curtain [of darkness]."
To kehney lagay mein ney apnay perwerdigar ki yaad per inn ghoron ki mohabbat ko tarjeeh di yahan tak kay ( aftab ) chup gaya.
तो उस ने कहा, "मैंने इन के प्रति प्रेम अपने रब की याद के कारण अपनाया है।" यहाँ तक कि वे (घोड़े) ओट में छिप गए
Then He directed Himself to the heaven while it was smoke and said to it and to the earth, "Come [into being], willingly or by compulsion." They said, "We have come willingly."
Phir aasman ki taraf mutawajja hua aur woh dhuwan ( sa ) tha pus issay aur zamin say farmaya kay tum khushi say aao ya na khushi say. Donon ney araz kiya hum ba-khushi hazir hain.
फिर उस ने आकाश की ओर रुख़ किया, जबकि वह मात्र धुआँ था- और उस ने उस से और धरती से कहा, 'आओ, स्वेच्छा के साथ या अनिच्छा के साथ।' उन्होंने कहा, 'हम स्वेच्छा के साथ आए।' -
And certainly did We send Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his establishment, and he said, "Indeed, I am the messenger of the Lord of the worlds."
Aur hum ney musa ( alh-e-salam ) ko apni nishaniyan dey ker firaon aur usskay umraa kay pass bheja to ( Musa alh-e-salam ney jaa ker ) kaha kay mein tamam jahano kay rab ka rasool hun.
और हम ने मूसा को अपनी निशानियों के साथ फ़िरऔन और उस के सरदारों के पास भेजा तो उस ने कहा, "मैं सारे संसार के रब का रसूल हूँ।"
But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing.
bulkay enhen tajjub maloom hua kay inn kay pass inhi mein say aik aagah kerney wala aaya to kafiron ney kaha kay yeh aik ajeeb cheez hai.
बल्कि उन्हें तो इस बात पर आश्चर्य हुआ कि उन के पास उन्हीं में से एक सावधान करने वाला आ गया। फिर इनकार करने वाले कहने लगे, "यह तो आश्चर्य की बात है
And said, "This is not but magic imitated [from others].
Aur khynay laga yeh to sirf jado hay jo naqal kiya jata hay
अन्ततः बोला, "यह तो बस एक जादू है, जो पहले से चला आ रहा है
And said, "I am your most exalted lord."
Tum sab ka rab mein hi hun
"मैं तुम्हारा उच्चकोटि का स्वामी हूँ!"
And the messenger of Allah [Salih] said to them, "[Do not harm] the she-camel of Allah or [prevent her from] her drink."
Unhein Allah kay rassol nay farmadiya tha kay Allah Taalaa ki ontni aur uss kay peeenay ki bari ki ( hifazat karo )
तो अल्लाह के रसूल ने उन से कहा, "सावधान, अल्लाह की ऊँटनी और उस के पिलाने (की बारी) से।"
