And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority." They said, "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and sanctify You?" Allah said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know."
Aur jab teray rab ney farishton say kaha kay mein zamin mein khalifa bananey wala hun to unhon ney kaha aisay shaks ko kiyon khalifa peda kerta hai jo zamin mein fasaad keray aur khoon bahaye? Aur hum teri tasbeeh hamd aur pakeezgi biyan kerney wala hain. Allah Taalaa ney farmaya jo mein janta hun tum nahi jantay.
और जब तुम्हारे रब ने फ़रिश्तों से कहा कि मैं ज़मीन में एक ख़लीफ़ा बनाने वाला हूँ, फ़रिश्तों ने कहाः क्या आप ज़मीन में ऐसे लोगों को बसाओगे जो उसमें फ़साद मचाएंगे और ख़ून बहाएंगे, और हम आपकी हम्द करते हैं और आपकी पाकी बयान करते हैं, अल्लाह ने कहाः मैं जानता हूँ जो तुम नहीं जानते।
And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate before Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers.
Aur jab hum ney farishton say kaha kay aadam ko sajda kero to iblees kay siwa sab ney sajda kiya. Uss ney inkar kiya aur takabbur kiya aur woh kafiron mein hogaya.
और जब हमने फ़रिश्तों से कहा कि आदम को सज्दा करो तो उन्होंने सज्दा किया मगर इबलीस ने न किया, उसने इनकार किया और घमंड किया और काफ़िरों में से हो गया।
Say, "Whoever is an enemy to Gabriel - it is [none but] he who has brought the Qur'an down upon your heart, [O Muhammad], by permission of Allah , confirming that which was before it and as guidance and good tidings for the believers."
( aey nabi! ) aap keh dijiye kay jo jibraeel ka dushman ho jiss ney aap kay dil per paygham-e-baari taalaa utaara hai jo paygham inn kay pass ki kitab ki tasdeeq kerney wala aur mominon ko hidayat aur khushkhabri denay wala hai.
(प्यारे नबी) कहिये कि जो कोई जिब्राईल का मुख़ालिफ़ है तो उसने इस कलाम को तुम्हारे दिल पर अल्लाह के हुक्म से उतारा है, वह सच्चा करने वाला है उसका जो इसके आगे है, और वह हिदायत और ख़ुश-ख़बरी है ईमान वालों के लिए।
Whoever is an enemy to Allah and His angels and His messengers and Gabriel and Michael - then indeed, Allah is an enemy to the disbelievers.
( To Allah bhi uss ka dushman hai ) jo shaks Allah ka aur uss kay farishton aur uss kay rasoolon aur jibraeel aur mikaeel ka dushman ho aisay kafiron ka dushman khud Allah hai.
जो कोई दुश्मन हो अल्लाह का और उसके फ़रिश्तों का और उसके रसूलों का और जिब्राईल व मीकाईल का तो अल्लाह ऐसे काफ़िरों का दुश्मन है।
And they followed [instead] what the devils had recited during the reign of Solomon. It was not Solomon who disbelieved, but the devils disbelieved, teaching people magic and that which was revealed to the two angels at Babylon, Harut and Marut. But the two angels do not teach anyone unless they say, "We are a trial, so do not disbelieve [by practicing magic]." And [yet] they learn from them that by which they cause separation between a man and his wife. But they do not harm anyone through it except by permission of Allah . And the people learn what harms them and does not benefit them. But the Children of Israel certainly knew that whoever purchased the magic would not have in the Hereafter any share. And wretched is that for which they sold themselves, if they only knew.
Aur uss cheez kay peechay parr gaye jissay shayateen ( hazrat ) suleman ki hukoomat mein parhtay thay. Suleman ney to kufur na kiya tha bulkay yeh kufur shetanon ka tha woh logon ko jadoo sikhaya kertay thay aur babul mein haroot maroot do farishton per jo utaara gaya tha woh dono bhi kissi shaks ko uss waqt tak nahi sikhatay thay jab tak yeh na keh den kay hum to aik aazmaeesh hain tu kufur na ker phir log inn say woh seekhtay jiss say khawind-o-biwi mein judaee daal den aur dar-asal woh baghair Allah Taalaa ki marzi kay kissi ko koi nuksan nahi phoncha saktay yeh log woh seekhtay hain jo enhen nuksan phonchaye aur nafa na phoncha sakay aur woh bil yaqeen jantay hain kay iss key lenay walay ka aakhirat mein koi hissa nahi. Aur woh bad tareen cheez hai jiss kay badlay mein woh apney aap ko farokht ker rahey hain kaash kay yeh jantay hotay.
और वे उस चीज़ के पीछे पड़ गए जिसको शयातीन सुलेमान के दौरे-हुकूमत में पढ़ते थे; हालाँकि सुलेमान ने कुफ़्र नहीं किया बल्कि ये शैतान थे जिन्होंने कुफ़्र किया, वे लोगों को जादू सिखाते थे, और वे उस चीज़ में पड़ गए जो “बाबिल” में दो फ़रिश्तों “हारूत” और “मारूत” पर उतारी गई, जबकि उनका हाल यह था कि जब भी वे किसी को (जादू के) ये करतब सिखाते तो उससे कह देते कि हम तो आज़माइश के लिए हैं पस तुम काफ़िर न बनो, मगर वे उनसे वे चीज़ें सीखते जिससे मर्द और उसकी बीवी के दरमियान जुदाई डाल दें; हालाँकि वे अल्लाह की इजाज़त के बग़ैर उससे किसी का कुछ बिगाड़ नहीं सकते थे, और वे ऐसी चीज़ सीखते थे जो उनको नुक़सान पहुँचाए और नफ़ा न दे, और वे जानते थे कि जो कोई इस चीज़ का ख़रीदार हो आख़िरत में उसका कोई हिस्सा नहीं, कैसी बुरी चीज़ है जिसके बदले उन्होंने अपनी जानों को बेच डाला, काश वे इसको समझते।
And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about Allah or says, "It has been inspired to me," while nothing has been inspired to him, and one who says, "I will reveal [something] like what Allah revealed." And if you could but see when the wrongdoers are in the overwhelming pangs of death while the angels extend their hands, [saying], "Discharge your souls! Today you will be awarded the punishment of [extreme] humiliation for what you used to say against Allah other than the truth and [that] you were, toward His verses, being arrogant."
Aur uss shaks say ziyada kaun zalim hoga jo Allah Taalaa per jhoot tohmar lagaye ya yun kahey kay mujh per wahee aati hai halankay uss kay pass kissi baat ki bhi wahee nahi aaee aur jo shaks yun kahey kay jaisa kalaam Allah ney nazil kiya hai ussi tarah ka mein bhi laata hun aur agar aap uss waqt dekhen jabkay yeh zalim log maut ko sakhtiyon mein hongay aur farishtay apney haath barha rahey hongay kay haan apni jaanen nikal lo. Aaj tum ko zillat ki saza di jaye gi iss sabab say kay tum Allah Taalaa kay zimmay jhooti baaten lagatay thay aur tum Allah Taalaa ki aayaat say takabbur kertay thay.
और उससे बढ़कर कौन ज़ालिम होगा जो अल्लाह पर झूठी तोहमत बाँधे या कहे कि मुझ पर वह्य उतरी है; हालाँकि उस पर कोई वह्य नाज़िल न की गई हो, और कहे कि जैसा कलाम अल्लाह ने उतारा है मैं भी उतारूँगा, और अगर आप वह वक़्त देखो जबकि ये ज़ालिम मौत की सख़्तियों में होंगे और फ़रिश्ते हाथ बढ़ा रहे होंगे कि लाओ अपनी जानें निकालो, आज तुमको ज़िल्लत का अज़ाब दिया जाएगा इस वजह से कि तुम अल्लाह के बारे में झूठी बातें कहते थे और तुम अल्लाह की निशानियों से तकब्बुर किया करते थे।
Indeed, those who are near your Lord are not prevented by arrogance from His worship, and they exalt Him, and to Him they prostrate.
Yaqeenan jo teray rab kay nazdeek hain woh uss ki ibadat say takabbur nahi kertay aur uss ki paki biyan kertay hain aur uss ko sajda kertay hain.
जो (फ़रिश्ते) आपके रब के पास हैं वह उसकी इबादत से तकब्बुर नहीं करते और वे उसकी पाक ज़ात को याद करते हैं और उसी को सज्दा करते हैं।
For each one are successive [angels] before and behind him who protect him by the decree of Allah . Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves. And when Allah intends for a people ill, there is no repelling it. And there is not for them besides Him any patron.
Uss kay pehray daar insan kay aagay peechay muqarrar hain jo Allah kay hukum say iss ki nigehbani kertay hain. Kissi qom ki halat Allah Taalaa nahi badalta jabtak kay woh khud ussay na badlen jo unn kay dilon mein hai. Allah Taalaa jab kissi qom ki saza ka irada ker leta hai to woh badla nahi kerta aur siwaye uss kay koi bhi unn ka kaar saaz nahi.
हर शख़्स के आगे और पीछे उसके निगराँ हैं जो अल्लाह के हुक्म से उसकी देख-भाल कर रहे हैं, बेशक अल्लाह किसी क़ौम की हालत को नहीं बदलता जब तक कि वे उसको न बदल डालें जो उनके जी में है, और जब अल्लाह किसी क़ौम पर कोई आफ़त लाना चाहता है तो फिर उसके हटने की कोई सूरत नहीं और अल्लाह के सिवा उसके मुक़ाबले में कोई उनका मददगार नहीं।
And the thunder exalts [ Allah ] with praise of Him - and the angels [as well] from fear of Him - and He sends thunderbolts and strikes therewith whom He wills while they dispute about Allah ; and He is severe in assault.
Garj iss ki tasbeeh-o-tareef kerti hai aur farishtay bhi iss kay khof say. Wohi aasman say bijliyan girata hai aur jiss per chahata hai uss per dalta hai kuffaar Allah ki babat larr jhagar rahey hain aur Allah sakht qooat wala hai.
और बिजली की गरज उसकी हम्द के साथ उसकी पाकी बयान करती है और फ़रिश्ते भी उसके ख़ौफ़ से, और वह बिजलियाँ भेजता है फिर जिस पर चाहे उन्हें गिरा देता है और वे लोग अल्लाह के बारे में झगड़ते हैं; हालाँकि वह ज़बरदस्त है क़ुव्वत वाला है।
And to Allah prostrates whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth of creatures, and the angels [as well], and they are not arrogant.
Yaqeenan aasman-o-zamin kay kul jandar aur tamam farishtay Allah Taalaa kay samney sajday kertay hain aur zara bhi takabbur nahi kertay.
और अल्लाह ही को सज्दा करती हैं जितनी चीज़ें चलने वाली हैं आसमानों में और ज़मीन में और फ़रिश्ते भी और वे तकब्बुर नहीं करते।
They fear their Lord above them, and they do what they are commanded.
Aur apney rab sau jo unn kay upper hai kapkapatay rehtay hain aur jo hukum mill jaye uss ki tameel kertay hain.
वे अपने ऊपर अपने रब से डरते हैं और वही करते हैं जिसका उनको हुक्म मिलता है।
[Gabriel said], "And we [angels] descend not except by the order of your Lord. To Him belongs that before us and that behind us and what is in between. And never is your Lord forgetful -
Hum baghair teray rab kay hukum kay utar nahi saktay humaray aagay peechay aur inn kay darmiyan ki kul cheezen ussi ki milkiyat mein hain tera perwerdigar bhoolney wala nahi.
हम तुम्हारे रब की आज्ञा के बिना नहीं उतरते। जो कुछ हमारे आगे है और जो कुछ हमारे पीछे है और जो कुछ इस के मध्य है सब उसी का है, और तुम्हारा रब भूलने वाला नहीं है
To Him belongs whoever is in the heavens and the earth. And those near Him are not prevented by arrogance from His worship, nor do they tire.
Aasmano aur zamin mein jo hai ussi Allah ka hai aur jo uss kay pass hain woh uss ki ibadat say na sirkashi kertay hain aur na thaktay hain.
और आकाशों और धरती में जो कोई है उसी का है। और जो (फ़रिश्ते) उस के पास है वे न तो अपने को बड़ा समझकर उस की बन्दगी से मुँह मोड़ते हैं और न वे थकते हैं
They exalt [Him] night and day [and] do not slacken.
Woh din raat tasbeeh biyan kertay hain aur zara si bhi susti nahi kertay.
रात और दिन तसबीह करते रहते हैं, दम नहीं लेते
And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken a son." Exalted is He! Rather, they are [but] honored servants.
( Mushrik log ) kehtay hain kay rehman aulad wala hai ( ghalat hai ) uss ki zaat pak hai bulkay woh sab uss kay ba-izzat banday hain.
और वे कहते हैं कि "रहमान सन्तान रखता है।" महान हो वह! बल्कि वे तो प्रतिष्ठित बन्दे हैं
And [mention] the Day when the heaven will split open with [emerging] clouds, and the angels will be sent down in successive descent.
Aur jiss din aasman badal samet phat jayega aur farishtay laga taar utaray jayengay.
उस दिन आकाश एक बादल के साथ फटेगा और फ़रिश्ते भली प्रकार उतारे जाएँगे
Other than Allah ? Can they help you or help themselves?"
Jo Allah Taalaa kay siwa thay kiya woh tumhari madad kertay hain? Ya koi badla ley saktay hain.
क्या वे तुम्हारी कुछ सहायता कर रहे हैं या अपना ही बचाव कर सकते हैं?"
So they will be overturned into Hellfire, they and the deviators
Pus woh sab aur kul gumrah log jahannum mein ondhay mun daal diye jayen gay.
फिर वे उस में औंधे झोक दिए जाएँगे, वे और बहके हुए लोग
Say, [O Muhammad], "Invoke those you claim [as deities] besides Allah ." They do not possess an atom's weight [of ability] in the heavens or on the earth, and they do not have therein any partnership [with Him], nor is there for Him from among them any assistant.
Keh dijiyey! Kay Allah ka siwa jin jin ka tumhen gumaan hai ( sab ) ko pukar lo na unn mein say kissi ko aasmano aur zamino mein say aik zarray kay ikhtiyar hai na unn ka inn mein koi hissa hai na unn mein say koi Allah ka madadgar hai.
कह दो, "अल्लाह को छोड़कर जिनका तुम्हें (उपास्य होने का) दावा है, उन्हें पुकार कर देखो। वे न अल्लाह में कणभर चीज़ के मालिक हैं और न धरती में और न उन दोनों में उन का कोई साझी है और न उन में से कोई उस का सहायक है।"
And intercession does not benefit with Him except for one whom He permits. [And those wait] until, when terror is removed from their hearts, they will say [to one another], "What has your Lord said?" They will say, "The truth." And He is the Most High, the Grand.
Shifaat ( sifarish ) bhi uss kay pass kuch nafa nahi deti ba-juz unn kay jin kay liye ijazat hojaye. Yahan tak kay jab inn kay dilo say ghabrahat door ker di jati hai to poochtay hain tumharay perwerdigar ney kiya farmaya jawab detay hain kay haq farmaya aur woh buland-o-bala aur boht bara hai.
और उस के यहाँ कोई सिफ़ारिश काम नहीं आएगी, किन्तु उसी की जिसे उस ने (सिफ़ारिश करने की) अनुमति दी हो। यहाँ तक कि जब उन के दिलों से घबराहट दूर हो जाएगी, तो वे कहेंगे, "तुम्हारे रब ने क्या कहा?" वे कहेंगे, "सर्वथा सत्य। और वह अत्यन्त उच्च, महान है।"
[All] praise is [due] to Allah , Creator of the heavens and the earth, [who] made the angels messengers having wings, two or three or four. He increases in creation what He wills. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.
Uss Allah kay liye tamam tareefen sazawaar hain jo ( ibtida’an ) aasmano aur zamin ka peda kerney wala aur do do teen teen char char paron walay farsihton ko apna payghumber ( qasid ) bananey wala hai makhlooq mein jo chahaye ziyadti kerta hai Allah Taalaa yaqeenan her cheez per qadir hai.
सब प्रशंसा अल्लाह के लिए है, जो आकाशों और धरती का पैदा करने वाला है। दो-दो, तीन-तीन और चार-चार फ़रिश्तों को बाज़ुओं वाले सन्देशवाहक बनाकर नियुक्त करता है। वह संरचना में जैसी चाहता है, अभिवृद्धि करता है। निश्चय ही अल्लाह को हर चीज़ की सामर्थ्य प्राप्त है
[The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position.
( farishton ka qol hai kay ) hum mein say to her aik ki jagah muqarrar hai.
और हमारी ओर से उस के लिए अनिवार्यतः एक ज्ञात और नियत स्थान है
And indeed, we are those who line up [for prayer].
Aur hum to ( bandag-e-elahee mein ) saff basta kharay hain.
और हम ही पंक्तिबद्ध करते हैं।
And indeed, we are those who exalt Allah ."
Aur uss ki tasbeeh biyan ker rahey hain.
और हम ही महानता बयान करते हैं
Those [angels] who carry the Throne and those around it exalt [ Allah ] with praise of their Lord and believe in Him and ask forgiveness for those who have believed, [saying], "Our Lord, You have encompassed all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who have repented and followed Your way and protect them from the punishment of Hellfire.
Arash kay uthaney walay aur uss kay aas pass kay ( farishtay ) apnay rab ki tasbeeh hamd kay sath sath kertay hain aur uss per eman rakhtay hain aur eman walon kay liye istaghfaar kertay hain kehtay hain kay aey humaray perwerdigar! Tu ney her cheez ko apni bakhsish aur ilm say gher rakha hai pus tu enhen bakhash day jo toba keren aur teri raah ki perwi keren aur tu enhen dozakh kay azab say bhi bacha lay.
जो सिंहासन को उठाए हुए हैं और जो उस के चतुर्दिक हैं, अपने रब का गुणगान करते हैं और उस पर ईमान रखते हैं और उन लोगों के लिए क्षमा की प्रार्थना करते हैं जो ईमान लाए कि "ऐ हमारे रब! तू हर चीज़ को व्याप्त है। अतः जिन लोगों ने तौबा की और तेरे मार्ग का अनुसरण किया, उन्हें क्षमा कर दे और भड़कती हुई आग की यातना से बचा लें
Our Lord, and admit them to gardens of perpetual residence which You have promised them and whoever was righteous among their fathers, their spouses and their offspring. Indeed, it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
Aey humaray rab! Tu enhen hameshgi wali jannaton mein ley ja jin kay tu ney inn say wada kiya hai aur inn kay baap dadon aur biwiyon aur aulad mein say ( bhi ) inn ( sab ) ko jo nek amal hain. Yaqeenan tu to ghalib-o-ba-hikmat hai.
ऐ हमारे रब! और उन्हें सदैव रहने के बागों में दाख़िल कर जिनका तूने उन से वादा किया है और उन के बाप-दादा और उन की पत्नियों और उन की सन्ततियों में से जो योग्य हुए उन्हें भी। निस्संदेह तू प्रभुत्वशाली, अत्यन्त तत्वदर्शी है
And protect them from the evil consequences [of their deeds]. And he whom You protect from evil consequences that Day - You will have given him mercy. And that is the great attainment."
Enhen burayion say bhi mehfooz rakh hq to yeh hai kay uss din tu ney jissay burayion say bacha liya uss per tu ney rehmat kerdi aur boht bari kaamyabi to yehi hai.
और उन्हें अनिष्टों से बचा। जिसे उस दिन तूने अनिष्टों से बचा लिया, तो निश्चय ही उस पर तूने दया की। और वही बड़ी सफलता है।"
But if they are arrogant - then those who are near your Lord exalt Him by night and by day, and they do not become weary.
Phir bhi agar yeh kibr-o-ghuroor keren to woh ( farishtay ) jo aap kay rab kay nazdeek hain woh to raat din uss ki tasbeeh biyan ker rahen hain aur ( kissi waqt bhi ) nahi uktatay.
लेकिन यदि वे घमंड करें (और अल्लाह को याद न करें), तो जो फ़रिश्ते तुम्हारे रब के पास हैं वे तो रात और दिन उस की तसबीह करते ही रहते हैं और वे उकताते नहीं
The heavens almost break from above them, and the angels exalt [ Allah ] with praise of their Lord and ask forgiveness for those on earth. Unquestionably, it is Allah who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.
Qareeb hai aasman uper say phat paren aur tamam farishtay apnay rab ki paki tareef kay sath biyan ker rahey hain aur zamin walon kay liye istaghfar ker rahey hain. Khoob samajh rakho kay Allah Taalaa hi maaf farmaney wala rehmat wala hai.
लगता है कि आकाश स्वयं अपने ऊपर से फट पड़े। हाल यह है कि फ़रिश्ते अपने रब का गुणगान कर रहे हैं, और उन लोगों के लिए जो धरती में हैं, क्षमा की प्रार्थना करते रहते हैं। सुन लो! निश्चय ही अल्लाह ही क्षमाशील, अत्यन्त दयावान है
And they will call, "O Malik, let your Lord put an end to us!" He will say, "Indeed, you will remain."
Aur pukar pukar ker kahen gay kay aey malik! Tera rab humara kaam hi tamam ker day woh kahega kay tumhen to ( hamesha ) rehna hai.
वे पुकारेंगे, "ऐ मालिक! तुम्हारा रब हमारा काम ही तमाम कर दे!" वह कहेगा, "तुम्हें तो इसी दशा में रहना है।"
