In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Shuroo Allah kay naam say jo bara meharban nehayat reham kerney wala hai
अल्लाह के नाम से जो बड़ा कृपालु और अत्यन्त दयावान है।
When the Occurrence occurs,
Jab Qayamat qaeem hojaye gi .
जब घटित होने वाली (घड़ी) घटित हो जाएगी;
There is, at its occurrence, no denial.
Jiss kay waqaye honay mein koi jhoot nahi.
उस के घटित होने में कुछ भी झुठ नहीं;
It will bring down [some] and raise up [others].
Woh pust kernay wali aur buland kernay wali hogi.
पस्त करने वाली होगी, ऊँचा करने वाली भी;
When the earth is shaken with convulsion
Jab kay zameen zalzala kay sath hila di jayegi.
जब धरती थरथरा कर काँप उठेगी;
And the mountains are broken down, crumbling
Aur pahar bilkul reza reza kerdiye jayen gey.
और पहाड़ टूटकर चूर्ण-विचुर्ण हो जाएँगे
And become dust dispersing.
phir woh misil paragandah ghubaar kay hojayen gey.
कि वे बिखरे हुए धूल होकर रह जाएँगे
And you become [of] three kinds:
Aur tum teen jamaton mein hojaogey.
और तुम लोग तीन प्रकार के हो जाओगे -
Then the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right?
pus dahanay hath walay kaisay achay hain dahanay hath walay.
तो दाहिने हाथ वाले (सौभाग्यशाली), कैसे होंगे दाहिने हाथ वाले!
And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left?
Aur bayen hath walay kiya haal hai bayen hath walon ka.
और बाएँ हाथ वाले (दुर्भाग्यशाली), कैसे होंगे बाएँ हाथ वाले!
And the forerunners, the forerunners -
Aur jo aagey walay hain woh to aagay walay hi hain.
और आगे बढ़ जाने वाले तो आगे बढ़ जाने वाले ही हैं
Those are the ones brought near [to Allah ]
Woh bilkul nazdeeki haasil kiye hain.
वही (अल्लाह के) निकटवर्ती हैं;
In the Gardens of Pleasure,
Nematon wali jannaton mein hain.
नेमत भरी जन्नतों में होंगे;
A [large] company of the former peoples
( Boht bara ) giroh to aglay logon mein say hoga.
अगलों में से तो बहुत-से होंगे,
And a few of the later peoples,
Aur thoray say pechlay. logon mein say.
किन्तु पिछलों में से कम ही
On thrones woven [with ornament],
yeh log sonay kay taaron say banay huye takhton per.
जड़ित तख़्तो पर;
Reclining on them, facing each other.
aik doosray kay samnay takiya lagaye bethay hongay.
तकिया लगाए आमने-सामने होंगे;
There will circulate among them young boys made eternal
Inn kay pass aisay larkay jo humesha ( larkay hi ) rahen gey aamdoraft keren gey.
उन के पास किशोर होंगे जो सदैव किशोरावस्था ही में रहेंगे,
With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring -
Aabkhoray aur jug ley ker aur aisa jaam ley ker jo behti hui sharab say pur ho.
प्याले और आफ़ताबे (जग) और विशुद्ध पेय से भरा हुआ पात्र लिए फिर रहे होंगे
No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated -
jiss say na sir mein dard ho na aqal mein fatoor aaye .
-जिस (के पीने) से न तो उन्हें सिर दर्द होगा और न उन की बुद्धि में विकार आएगा
And fruit of what they select
Aur aisay meway liye huye jo inki pasand kay hon.
और स्वादिष्ट फल जो वे पसन्द करें;
And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire.
Aur parindon kay gosht joenhein marghoob hon.
और पक्षी का मांस जो वे चाहें;
And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes,
Aur bari bari aankhon wali hoorien.
और बड़ी आँखों वाली हूरें,
The likenesses of pearls well-protected,
Jo chupay huye motiyon ki tarah hain.
मानो छिपाए हुए मोती हो
As reward for what they used to do.
Yeh sila hai unkay aemaal kal.
यह सब उस के बदले में उन्हें प्राप्त होगा जो कुछ वे करते रहे
They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin -
Na wahan bakwas sunein gey aur na gunnah ki baat.
उस में वे न कोई व्यर्थ बात सुनेंगे और न गुनाह की बात;
Only a saying: "Peace, peace."
Sirf salam hi salam ki awaz hogi.
सिवाय इस बात के कि "सलाम हो, सलाम हो!"
The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right?
Aur dahanay hath walay kiya hi achay hain dahanay hath walay.
रहे सौभाग्यशाली लोग, तो सौभाग्यशालियों का क्या कहना!
[They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed
Woh baghair kanton ki bairiyon.
वे वहाँ होंगे जहाँ बिन काँटों के बेर होंगे;
And [banana] trees layered [with fruit]
Aur teh ba teh keelon.
और गुच्छेदार केले;
And shade extended
Aur lambay lambay sayon.
दूर तक फैली हुई छाँव;
And water poured out
Aur behtay huye paaniyon.
बहता हुआ पानी;
And fruit, abundant [and varied],
Aur ba-kasrat phalon main.
बहुत-सा स्वादिष्ट; फल,
Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden,
Jo na khatam hon na rok liye jayen.
जिस का सिलसिला टूटने वाला न होगा और न उस पर कोई रोक-टोक होगी
And [upon] beds raised high.
Aur unchay unchay farshon mein hongay.
उच्चकोटि के बिछौने होंगे;
Indeed, We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation
Hum ney unn ( Ki biwiyon ko ) khaas tor per banaya hai.
(और वहाँ उन की पत्नियों को) निश्चय ही हम ने एक विशेष उठान पर उठाया
And made them virgins,
Aur hum ney unhen kanwariyan banadiya hai.
और हम ने उन्हे कुँवारियाँ बनाया;
Devoted [to their husbands] and of equal age,
Mohabbat waliyan aur hum umar hain.
प्रेम दर्शाने वाली और समायु;
For the companions of the right [who are]
Dayen hath walon kay liye hain.
सौभाग्यशाली लोगों के लिए;
A company of the former peoples
jamm-e-ghafeer aglon main say.
वे अगलों में से भी अधिक होगे
And a company of the later peoples.
Aur boht bari jamat hai pichlon main say.
और पिछलों में से भी अधिक होंगे
And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left?
Aur bayen hath walay kiya hai bayen hath walay.
रहे दुर्भाग्यशाली लोग, तो कैसे होंगे दुर्भाग्यशाली लोग!
[They will be] in scorching fire and scalding water
Garum hawa aur garum paani mein ( hongey ) .
गर्म हवा और खौलते हुए पानी में होंगे;
And a shade of black smoke,
Aur siyah dhuyen kay saye mein.
और काले धुएँ की छाँव में,
Neither cool nor beneficial.
Jo na thanda hai na farhat buksh.
जो न ठंडी होगी और न उत्तम और लाभप्रद
Indeed they were, before that, indulging in affluence,
Be-shak yeh log iss say pehlay boht nazon mein palay huye thay.
वे इस से पहले सुख-सम्पन्न थे;
And they used to persist in the great violation,
Aur baray baray gunahon per israr kertay thay.
और बड़े गुनाह पर अड़े रहते थे
And they used to say, "When we die and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected?
Aur kehtay thay kay kiya jab hum mar jayengey aur mithi aur haddi hojayengey to kiya hum phir doobara utha kharay kiye jayeugey.
कहते थे, "क्या जब हम मर जाएँगे और मिट्टी और हड्डियाँ होकर रह जाएँगे, तो क्या हम वास्तव में उठाए जाएँगे?
And our forefathers [as well]?"
Aur kiya humaray aglay baap dada bhi?
"और क्या हमारे पहले के बाप-दादा भी?"
Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, the former and the later peoples
Aap keydijiye kay yaqeenan sab aglay aur pichlay.
कह दो, "निश्चय ही अगले और पिछले भी
