So now we have no intercessors
Abb to humara koi sifarshi bhi nahi.
अब न हमारा कोई सिफ़ारिशी है,
And not a devoted friend.
Aur na koi ( sacha ) ghum khuwar dost.
और न घनिष्ट मित्र
Then if we only had a return [to the world] and could be of the believers... "
Agar kaash kay humen aik martaba phir jana milta to hum pakkay sachay momin bann jatay.
क्या ही अच्छा होता कि हमें एक बार फिर पलटना होता, तो हम मोमिनों में से हो जाते!"
Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers.
Yeh majra yaqeena aik bari zabardast nishani hai inn mein say aksar log eman laney walay nahi.
निश्चय ही इसमें एक बड़ी निशानी है। इस पर भी उन में से अधिकरतर मानने वाले नहीं
And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.
Yaqeenan aap ka perwerdigar hi ghalib meharbaan hai.
और निस्संदेह तुम्हारा रब ही है जो बड़ा प्रभुत्वशाली, अत्यन्त दयावान है
The people of Noah denied the messengers
Qom-e-nooh ney bhi nabiyon ko jhutlaya.
नूह की क़ौम ने रसूलों को झुठलाया;
When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah ?
Jabkay unn kay bhai nooh ( alh-e-salam ) ney kaha kay kiya tumhen Allah ka khof nahi!.
जबकि उन से उन के भाई नूह ने कहा, "क्या तुम डर नहीं रखते?
Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger.
Suno! Mein tumhari taraf Allah ka amanat daar rasool hun.
निस्संदेह मैं तुम्हारे लिए एक अमानतदार रसूल हूँ
So fear Allah and obey me.
Pus tumhen Allah say darna chahaye aur meri baat manni chahaye.
अतः अल्लाह का डर रखो और मेरा कहा मानो
And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds.
Mein tum say iss per koi ajar nahi chahata mera badla to sirf rab-ul-aalameen kay haan hai.
मैं इस काम के बदले तुम से कोई बदला नहीं माँगता। मेरा बदला तो बस सारे संसार के रब के ज़िम्मे है
So fear Allah and obey me."
Pus tum Allah ka khof rakho aur meri farmanbardari kero.
अतः अल्लाह का डर रखो और मेरी आज्ञा का पालन करो।"
They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?"
Qom ney jawab diya kay kiya hum tujh per eman layen! Teri tabey daari to razeel logon ney ki hai.
उन्होंने कहा, "क्या हम तेरी बात मान लें, जबकि तेरे पीछे तो अत्यन्त नीच लोग चल रहे हैं?"
He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do?
Aap ney farmaya! Mujhay kiya khabar kay woh pehlay kiya kertay rahey?
उस ने कहा, "मुझे क्या मालूम कि वे क्या करते रहे हैं?
Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive.
Unn ka hisab to meray rab kay zimmay hai agar tumhen shaoor ho to.
उन का हिसाब तो बस मेरे रब के ज़िम्मे है। क्या ही अच्छा होता कि तुम में चेतना होती।
And I am not one to drive away the believers.
Mein eman walon ko dhakkay denay wala nahi.
और मैं ईमान वालों को धुत्कारने वाला नहीं हूँ।
I am only a clear warner."
Mein to saaf tor per dara denay wala hun.
मैं तो बस स्पष्ट रूप से एक सावधान करने वाला हूँ।"
They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned."
Unhon ney kaha aey nooh! Agar tu baaz na aaya to yaqeenan tujhay sangsaar ker diya jaye ga.
उन्होंने कहा, "यदि तू बाज़ न आया ऐ नूह, तो तू संगसार होकर रहेगा।"
He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me.
Aap ney kaha aey meray perwerdigar! Meri qom ney mujhay jhutla diya.
उस ने कहा, "ऐ मेरे रब! मेरी क़ौम के लोगों ने तो मुझे झुठला दिया
Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers."
Pus tu mujh mein aur inn mein koi qataee faisla ker dey aur mujha aur meray ba-emaan saathiyon ko nijat dey.
अब मेरे और उन के बीच दो टूक फ़ैसला कर दे और मुझे और जो ईमान वाले मेरे साथ हैं, उन्हें बचा ले!"
So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship.
Chunacha hum ney ussay aur uss kay saathiyon ko bhari hui kashti mein ( sawar kera ker ) nijat dey di.
अतः हम ने उसे और जो उस के साथ भरी हुई नौका में थे बचा लिया
Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones.
Bad-e-azan baqi kay tamam logon ko hum ney dobo diya.
और उस के पश्चात शेष लोगों को डूबो दिया
Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers.
Yaqeenan iss mein boht bari ibrat hai. Unn mein say aksar log eman laney walay thay bhi nahi.
निश्चय ही इसमें एक बड़ी निशानी है। इस पर भी उन में से अधिकतर मानने वाले नहीं
And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.
Aur be-shak aap ka perwerdigar albatta wohi hai zabardast reham kerney wala.
और निस्संदेह तुम्हारा रब ही है जो बड़ा प्रभुत्वशाली, अत्यन्त दयावान है
'Aad denied the messengers
Aadiyon ney bhi rasoolon ko jhutlaya.
आद ने रसूलों को झूठलाया
When their brother Hud said to them, "Will you not fear Allah ?
Jabkay unn say unn kay bhai hood ney kaha kay kiya tum dartay nahi?
जबकि उन के भाई हूद ने उन से कहा, "क्या तुम डर नहीं रखते?
Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger.
Mein tumhara amanatdaar payghumbar hun.
मैं तो तुम्हारे लिए एक अमानतदार रसूल हूँ
So fear Allah and obey me.
Pus Allah say daro aur mera kaha mano!
अतः तुम अल्लाह का डर रखो और मेरी आज्ञा मानो
And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds.
Mein iss per tum say koi ujrat talab nahi kerta mera sawab to tamam jahaan kay perwerdigar kay pass hi hai.
मैं इस काम पर तुम से कोई प्रतिदान नहीं माँगता। मेरा प्रतिदान तो बस सारे संसार के रब के ज़िम्मे है।
Do you construct on every elevation a sign, amusing yourselves,
Kiya tum aik aik teelay per bator khel tamasha yaadgar ( emaarat ) bana rahey ho.
क्या तुम प्रत्येक उच्च स्थान पर व्यर्थ एक स्मारक का निर्माण करते रहोगे?
And take for yourselves palaces and fortresses that you might abide eternally?
Aur bari san’at walay ( mazboot mehal tameer ) ker rahey ho goya kay tum hamesha yahin raho gay.
और भव्य महल बनाते रहोगे, मानो तुम्हें सदैव रहना है?
And when you strike, you strike as tyrants.
Aur jab kissi per hath daaltay ho to sakhti aur zulm say pakartay ho.
और जब किसी पर हाथ डालते हो तो बिलकुल निर्दय अत्याचारी बनकर हाथ डालते हो!
So fear Allah and obey me.
Allah say daro aur meri pairwee kero.
अतः अल्लाह का डर रखो और मेरी आज्ञा का पालन करो
And fear He who provided you with that which you know,
Uss say daro jiss ney unn cheezon say tumhari imdad ki jinhen tum jantay ho.
उस का डर रखो जिस ने तुम्हें वे चीज़े पहुँचाई जिन को तुम जानते हो
Provided you with grazing livestock and children
Uss ney tumahri madad ki maal say aur aulad say.
उस ने तुम्हारी सहायता की चौपायों और बेटों से,
And gardens and springs.
Baghaat say aur chashmon say.
और बाग़ों और स्रोतो से
Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a terrible day."
Mujhay to tumhari nisbat baray din kay azab ka andesha hai.
निश्चय ही मुझे तुम्हारे बारे में एक बड़े दिन की यातना का भय है।"
They said, "It is all the same to us whether you advise or are not of the advisors.
Unhon ney kaha kay aap waaz kehn ya waaz kehney walon mein na hon hum per yaksan hai.
उन्होंने कहा, "हमारे लिए बराबर है चाहे तुम नसीहत करो या नसीहत करने वाले न बनो।
This is not but the custom of the former peoples,
Yeh to bus puraney logon ki aadat hai.
यह तो बस पहले लोगों की पुरानी आदत है
And we are not to be punished."
Aur hum hergiz azab nahi diye jayen gay.
और हमें कदापि यातना न दी जाएगी।"
And they denied him, so We destroyed them. Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers.
Chunkay aadiyon ney hazrat hood ko jhutlaya iss liye hum ney unhen tabah ker diya yaqeenan iss mein nishani hai aur inn mein say aksar bey eman thay.
अन्ततः उन्होंने उन्हें झुठला दिया तो हम ने उन को विनष्ट कर दिया। बेशक इसमें एक बड़ी निशानी है। इस पर भी उन में से अधिकतर मानने वाले नहीं
And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.
Be-shak aap ka rab wohi hai ghalib meharbaan.
और बेशक तुम्हारा रब ही है, जो बड़ा प्रभुत्वशाली, अत्यन्त दयावान है
Thamud denied the messengers
Samoodiyon ney bhi payghumbaron ko jhutlaya.
समूद ने रसूलों को झुठलाया,
When their brother Salih said to them, "Will you not fear Allah ?
Unn kay bhai saleh ney unn say farmaya kay kiya tum Allah say nahi dartay?
जबकि उस के भाई सालेह ने उस से कहा, "क्या तुम डर नहीं रखते?
Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger.
Mein tumhari taraf Allah ka amanatdaar payghumbar hun.
निस्संदेह मैं तुम्हारे लिए एक अमानतदार रसूल हूँ
So fear Allah and obey me.
To tum Allah say daro aur mera kaha mano.
अतः तुम अल्लाह का डर रखो और मेरी बात मानो
And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds.
Mein iss per tum say koi ujrat nahi mangta meri ujrat to bus perwerdigar-e-aalam per hi hai.
मैं इस काम पर तुम से कोई बदला नहीं माँगता। मेरा बदला तो बस सारे संसार के रब के ज़िम्मे है
Will you be left in what is here, secure [from death],
Kiya inn cheezon mein jo yahan hain tum aman kay sath chor diye jao gay.
क्या तुम यहाँ जो कुछ है उस के बीच, निश्चिन्त छोड़ दिए जाओगे,
Within gardens and springs
Yaani inn baghon aur inn chashmon.
बाग़ों और स्रोतों
And fields of crops and palm trees with softened fruit?
Aur inn kheton aur inn khajooron kay baghon mein jin kay shagoofay naram-o-nazuk hain.
और खेतों और उन खजूरों में जिन के गुच्छे तरो ताज़ा और गुँथे हुए हैं?
And you carve out of the mountains, homes, with skill.
Aur tum paharon ko taraash taraash ker pur takalluf makannat bana rahey ho.
तुम पहाड़ों को काट-काटकर इतराते हुए घर बनाते हो?
